Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

Round Three

It was quite, as if all the monsters that once inhabited the town where gone. Silence sat in the air, and the once semi-crowded streets where now nothing but empty. The survivors moved among themselves, trying to live a normal life, building that where there one day disparaged the next, and buildings that were never seen replaced them. A week passed, and as the voice promised another survivor would lose their life. Adain was talking a stroll among the neighborhood, it until he reached its corner, that he saw what was hanging from a tree in the park. Ryu Keiko lied hanging from a tree branch, a noose around his neck. The lifeless body hanged endlessly, almost like it was swinging in a light breeze. The ground shifted from beneath the Survivors feet, and three large black mountains a merged from the floor, shooting high into the air, almost reaching the top of the facility's ceiling. They looked to be holding a pathway on all three of them, leading to a cave that was near the tip. Queen Elisabeth walked from the house she hid in, and quickly took to Tyler's home, she sat silently at his green doorway, waiting for any sound. She never heared one, touching the doorknob with her long claw, the door glowed green, and opened the door. Walking into Tyler's living room, it was large, and only one floor. In the distance, Queen Eliebeth could hear moans, and that's when she grinned and walked closer. Things seemed to be only going downwards spiral for the survivors, Will they only survivor the dangers of the world, to be destroyed by one another?

Things seemed to be only going downwards spiral for the survivors, Will they only survivor the dangers of the world, to be destroyed by one another?

Regina arched her back, moaning as Hans, her servant-


-well, I'll spare you the details.


She was moaning quite a bit, though, but she figured nobody would complain. They never did. As her and Hans both finished, she lay panting on her bed. Hans had fallen asleep, leaving Regina to ponder what had happened to her ever since the whole ordeal.


Basically, all it consisted of was Hans being her servant and...


Regina came to the realization. She did absolutely nothing. She didn't know what she was, where she was, and basically was only being a whore. She hadn't even questioned, like, anything. Regina was disturbed, too disturbed to go to sleep with Hans, so she stood up, got dressed, and headed to the kitchen.


Regina made herself some coffee. She was drained, and pretty much lived off of the stuff. The steamy mug rested in her hands. Regina blinked her eyes awake, and curiosity took over. She opened the front door, cautiously taking in her surroundings.


Then, she felt a blinding pain as someone hit her in the head and everything went black.

Town Map.


One long neighborhood street, full of survivors homes. Two streets the cut of at its end from left to right, forming a large circle. The center holds a large fled, with picnic tables. The circle street was known as downtown, full of misc buildings, and all important ones, such as the police satiation, Elementary school, Clinic, and many more. A dirt road was somewhere among the circled street, leading to the mountains.

Regina arched her back, moaning as Hans, her servant-

A long slender bare skeleton dragged Regina across the smooth cermet sidewalk, he was walking towards Tyler's home, only a mere six houses away. Regina was on her back, and the skeleton dragged the girl by her ankle. 
The skeleton arrived inside the house, closing the door behind him, the girl was unconscious as he dragged her inside, and dropped her ankle. Queen Elizabeth smiled, and crept to the outside of Tyler's door, Tapping her claw against the door, it opened, exposing her tall slender figure standing behind the door frame.


"Hello Tyler." spoke Queen Elizabeth, as if she finally found her target.

Adain jumped off of Tyler and pulled the sheets over him. He was scared and shocked at the intrusion. He moved closer to Tyler putting himself between Tyler and the woman. "Who is she?" Adain whispered to Tyler.

Tyler looked from the door to Adain, then threw a blanket around his waist.


"Who is she" whispered Adain.


"Someone very dangerous," whispered Tyler as he stood from the bed blanket wrapped around his wast, giving a deadly stare at Queen Elizabeth. That only caused Queen Elizabeth to grin. She tried to take a step into the room, only she was stopped by something that appears to be simmering pink, blue, red, yellow, green, and so many more colors, it was if it was a inadvisable lored wall. The tip of her feet stabbed into the force, almost breaking. She took a step back, and smiled.


"Ah, So using magic to keep me out. Hmm? Well once I use this young girl as my sacrifice, I will gain more magic then you can every dream of welding elf Mage." Queen Eiliebeth smiled, and turned, walking to the young girl.

Regina's head throbbed.


She was having trouble opening her eyes. There was something around her ankle, and Regina didn't recall putting anything on. Her back was wet and sticky and stung. Her shirt had ridden up her back. Regina opened her eyes and let out a loud groan. She felt like shit.


When her vision blurred, then slowly cleared, she saw a woman staring up at her. There was food between her teeth, and a chilling grin stretched across her face. Regina shrieked and moved to get away, only to have whatever was holding onto her ankle keep her in place.


It was a fucking skeleton.


"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!" she screamed.


"HANS!!!!"

@JayJay (So one week passed in the new update, but the potion Arya drank was supposed to kill her in eight hours so... I just had The Doctor put her to sleep so her mind wouldn't be active and she wouldn't die. Was the only thing I could think of to avoid a problem. lol. So your character has been asleep for a week. I hope that's all right. xD Just have her wake up in The Doctor's arms whenever you get back.)

One week ago


The Doctor was with Arya and Siegfried. They were searching the town to look for the potion that would save Arya from dying or possibly stop the monsters in town. The cure would save her from dying or would cut off the link in The Doctor's mind that was spawning monsters. The thing is, they only had eight hours to do it--for Arya at least--and time was running out. They had less than an hour left or else she would die. There was only one thing The Doctor could think to do.


"I'm going to shut down her mind," The Doctor explained to Siegfried. "It will put her to sleep and save her from dying until I wake her up. I'll let her sleep until we can find the cure for her to drink."


Yes, The Doctor was fully aware that there was only one cure and either he or she could take it, but that didn't matter. The time lord would do what he always did: save people. He would save her, even if he had to find another way to stop the monsters who were now in the town.


Present day


A week had passed. The Doctor still hadn't managed to find the potion which would cure Arya. Apparently, the map that The Master had given him--which was supposed to lead to the cure--was old. The well The Doctor searched for with Siegfried was no longer there. And they were running out of time. He could only keep Arya asleep for so much longer before she would still end up waking up on her own.


On the positive side, the monsters who had attacked the town were temporarily gone. It appeared as if the potion The Doctor drank--which was connected with his mind and spawned monsters at random times--turned on and off. The Doctor couldn't sense a pattern as to when it would pull monsters from his mind and send them into the town, but he was grateful that they weren't always around. Thankfully, now was one of those times.


The old time lord sat on the steps of a building--Arya resting in his arms--as he puzzled over what he would do next.


"I need a current map," The Doctor finally decided. Maybe that would help him more easily be able to track down the potion. He stood up, still holding Arya, and called out into the town. "Does anyone have a map of this place?"

"AHHEHHHFUCKFUCKSHITAHHHHHHHH" Regina kicked frantically, wriggling out of the skeleton's grasp. She nailed him with her heels and scrambled to her feet, eyes wide and chest rising and falling quickly.

Currently, Lia was up in a tree, her hat tipped over her eyes and she was resting. She had learned her lesson from the last incident she got in with Manco though. Now, she always made sure to check every tree in town for bees before she got too close.


Renegade was on the ground next to the tree, glancing up at his master and occasionally looking at some of the survivors as they wandered along. The dog sprinted off after a moment, running up to Natsu, wagging his tail excitedly.
