Fantasy Murder: The Shadow's Grip

Regina stopped kicking, paralyzed as she saw the claw.
Nope, nope, fuck no.


"AHHEHHHFUCKFUCKSHITAHHHHHHHH" Regina kicked frantically, wriggling out of the skeleton's grasp. She nailed him with her heels and scrambled to her feet, eyes wide and chest rising and falling quickly.

Queen Elizabeth stood from her knee, and looked to Regina, her pure white misty eyes unsettling. "You are quite the soul, That I will admit." spoke Queen Elizabeth with a slight grin, she took a step towards Regina.

Renegade allows Natsu to pet him, wagging his tail happily. After a moment, Lia realized her friend was gone and climbed down the tree, seeing him over by Natsu. "Hey," Lia said, walking up to Natsu. "Looks like you made a friend, Renegade," she said with a smile. "What might your name be, miss?" she asked Natsu.

"Oh be quite girl, this will only sting for a monument," spoke Queen Elizabeth as she tried to pierce Ragina's skin with the tip of her claws. The Skeleton was holding a tight grip, but if the girl kept kicking it could loosen, causing him to let go and to stumbled back. 

"What are you doing?" asked Tyler as he looked from Adain searching his bag, to the doorway.


"We're safe." softly spoke Tyler.

"I hate having my back against the wall." Adain whispered stubbornly, "I always need a way to come out swinging." He found what he was looking for.


A black canister he had from the day night they all fought together. "Please tell me some of your magic is fire, hun." He said in a low tone.

"Throw it in the doorway, and the mist will carrier the explosion" whispered Tyler..

Regina tried to look confident- after all, she figured this situation was just like high school- show a weakness and you're dead. Even Regina could understand. Regina placed her hands on her hips, eyeing the woman with distaste.

"....No, but let me change something," said Tyler as he raised his hand, his magic wall deforming, and flowing into the hallway as a inadvisable mist.
"Throw it in the doorway, and the mist will carrier the explosion" whispered Tyler..

Adain got his underwear and slid them on dropping the the sheet. "We will have to move to my house when this blows, its thermite." He tossed the canister into the mist.


"We need to go now, that's an extremely high explosive, and it destroy most of the house." He whispered, hoping not to hurt Tyler by destroying his house.

I just had The Doctor put her to sleep so her mind wouldn't be active and she wouldn't die. Was the only thing I could think of to avoid a problem. lol. So your character has been asleep for a week. I hope that's all right. xD Just have her wake up in The Doctor's arms whenever you get back.)

One week ago


The Doctor was with Arya and Siegfried. They were searching the town to look for the potion that would save Arya from dying or possibly stop the monsters in town. The cure would save her from dying or would cut off the link in The Doctor's mind that was spawning monsters. The thing is, they only had eight hours to do it--for Arya at least--and time was running out. They had less than an hour left or else she would die. There was only one thing The Doctor could think to do.


"I'm going to shut down her mind," The Doctor explained to Siegfried. "It will put her to sleep and save her from dying until I wake her up. I'll let her sleep until we can find the cure for her to drink."


Yes, The Doctor was fully aware that there was only one cure and either he or she could take it, but that didn't matter. The time lord would do what he always did: save people. He would save her, even if he had to find another way to stop the monsters who were now in the town.


Present day


A week had passed. The Doctor still hadn't managed to find the potion which would cure Arya. Apparently, the map that The Master had given him--which was supposed to lead to the cure--was old. The well The Doctor searched for with Siegfried was no longer there. And they were running out of time. He could only keep Arya asleep for so much longer before she would still end up waking up on her own.


On the positive side, the monsters who had attacked the town were temporarily gone. It appeared as if the potion The Doctor drank--which was connected with his mind and spawned monsters at random times--turned on and off. The Doctor couldn't sense a pattern as to when it would pull monsters from his mind and send them into the town, but he was grateful that they weren't always around. Thankfully, now was one of those times.


The old time lord sat on the steps of a building--Arya resting in his arms--as he puzzled over what he would do next.


"I need a current map," The Doctor finally decided. Maybe that would help him more easily be able to track down the potion. He stood up, still holding Arya, and called out into the town. "Does anyone have a map of this place?"

The first hours after drinking the potion, it was obvious that Arya was starting to suffer.


Her voice and expressions were always happy, but there was a certain painful look in her eyes, whoever she thought she was.


Not to mention a vein or two on her forehead and temple had become visible.


While she was hosting the memories of a certain President Snow, she had been complaining about a headache the entire time.


Luckily for her, the Doctor had put her to sleep.


She had been asleep for an entire week now.


Over time, the veins on her head had faded and her expression changed to an actually peaceful one.


Unfortunately, they were faintly starting to reappear by now.


Her eyes were moving around behind her closed eyelids.


Arya was dreaming, which meant her brain was slowly starting to work again.


She wasn't dreaming her own dreams, but someone else's.


It wouldn't be another day before she woke up and started living her final hour(s).


Time was running out and the Doctor could reeeaaaally use help finding a map.

Tyler nodded, and grabbed Adain's wist, and in a blink of a eye, they were gone, and in Adain's bedroom.
Boom! shot through the hose, a fiery blaze following behind it. Queen Elizabeth sat just on the tip of the hallway, being blown out of the front window when the explosion occurred, and tore Tyler's roof apart, flying pieces of it onto the houses on both sides of it. Fire danced on the walls, and floor, and it spared quickly. in gulping the hallway within seconds, and moving towards the living room.

"Shit! My gun!" Adain cried out, forgetting his guns in Tyler's house. He looked around his room and saw Gage on the bed, she thought to him, 'I had a bad feeling so I left.'


Adain sighed and sat on his bed petting Gage, "Tyler who was that?" He asked concerned.

Regina screamed, a heat unlike any other consuming her. Her skin immediately blistered all over, and she blacked out even before her body got thrown through a window with the shock wave of the explosion. So, with that in mind, her limp body lay on the ground, her cruelly beautiful face covered in blisters, a small fire burning in her clothes. The house was still ablaze, and it was sad that Regina couldn't see the amazing sight.


She was alive, but barely.

"I suppose I'll just have to hunt for a map on my own," he said with a sigh, heading off to look. He didn't have time to just be sitting around! He was tired from the constant searching, but the time lord couldn't afford too many breaks. Arya had very little time to spare.


He glanced to his side where Nymeria was following him, frowning. "I promise you I'll help your master," he said, shaking his head. "I can't keep her asleep much longer. She'll awaken at any time now. I'm not sure when. It could be another day, another hour, or another minute, but I'll make sure she doesn't die."


The time lord walked around to find a map, when one flew and hit him right in the face, blown by a breeze. The Doctor peeled it off his face to look at it, grinning when he saw that it was what he was looking for.


"Oh, yes! There's a map!"


He stopped in place to look at it, eyes scanning the paper carefully.


Anyone is welcome to walk up to The Doctor and ask him if he needs help with something. *cough* *cough* (Or else I'll just move him along on my own with Arya. But help would make it more fun. )

Queen Elizabeth stood, her lips in a grin, and her body almost flawless with out cuts and marks. She turned, looking at the strangely different houses, and laughed. "Haha, I will find you..." spoke Queen Elizabeth, her walk leading her into a random house.

"...She has become free of the prison I placed for her, the only option left is to create another prison, or kill her." softly spoke Tyler, his gaze at his feet.

Adain weighed the options. He knew how to kill that wasn't a problem but he knew not how to trap her. "She can be freed again right? So what's the point in trapping her again?" Adain looked at Tyler, "But now I'm gearless so I can't really kill anything." Adain shrugged

Lia shrugged her shoulders. "Good question," she replied. "Normally, I don't like too many people around, but if we're exploring this place I'd say it's a good idea." She nodded.


"So how about we just wait a few moments and see if anyone else wants to join us, and if not we'll head off?"


She hoped others might join them, but she wasn't going to wait forever for other survivors to show up if they weren't around at the moment.
