I don't think drawing out a full map is necessary, but it would be nice to have a list of locations and their general area along with a description of them.
Example:
Restaurant #5:
The fifth Restaurant in a chain of 6969, it serves X foods with a view of Y. Located in area Z of the island.

Maybe there's some sort of center piece of the island and then from there we can build around it. Like maybe there's a massive airport or hotel and across the way is the beach or behind it is the dock for boats/ cruise ships. Just a focus point so are characters aren't walking aimlessly in void.

The main guide is Ever, the self insert NPC. She's going to act like a camp counselor and plan out activities for everyone to do, which was why I was asking for ideas in the first place.

To elaborate on this, I mean there are no tourists. Just the characters in the CS sheet. It's in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, after all.

It's at the beachfront. Having a large hotel on a mountain or a cliff seems a little unstable to say the least.

Ability training building / Battle simulation area (power showcases / sparring)
Multiple workshops for crafting things (Custom making souvenirs to bring home)
Obstacle course pools (Wipeout style courses)
Crystal cave / Forest trails (Nature walks)
Romance spots around the island with nice views / atmospheres
Beachside grills (Cooking gatherings / Potlucks)

Okay, okay, here's the build of the resort, since you all want to know it so bad.
The hotel is right in front of a beach, and all hotel rooms have a nice beachfront view. If you walk through the back doors of the hotel itself you go to the Getaway Plaza, which is centered around a fountain. Everything else surrounds this fountain. The main path splits off.
Along path one you go to the restaurants. There are multiple with different cuisines to choose from. There is one specific to breakfast, a hibachi, a buffet, etc.
On path two, it will lead you to the pools. There is a big main one, and a smaller one for relaxation. The big one has a couple of slides.
On the third path, it will lead you out of the resort, and into the lush wilderness of the island. Of course, you are not permitted to go alone, in case you get lost.
On the main beach itself, there are courts for beach sports, lounging areas sheltered from the sun, and docks for sailboats.
