Personally I do not like joke or gimmick characters, even in more light hearted rps. I do not think Kirby would be a good fit not only bc of his. Uh. Physical stature but also the fact he's a literal child.

Yeah, no sweat! I had already decided not to include a robot DJ character cause, robot, and... his entire thing would be music without actually knowing anyone so I just thought I'd ask about a try two.

Maybe... Callie from Splatoon could work. She's canonically an adult now, though I'm not sure if she's 18 or 20, I'd have to check.
