Realistic or Modern More Zombies And OOC

@Hel
Is the train at the city that my characters are in?
I was letting you decide. The city is a few miles away but you'd probably still hear the train when it passed through earlier, and trains are super loud haha.

If you're ready to join then yes, if you'd prefer to wait then you could say they are in the next city, but it'll take us a while to get there.

Okay, can I ask a serious question?
I feel like I'm not fitting in very well here.

I have a really, really hard time keeping my posts short.

As you've seen, they're generally pretty long, and I'll be honest, I edited the shit out of that last one to keep it below 30 paragraphs.

I like this RP, but I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb.

I'm sorry, I may drop just because I'm entirely unable to keep it more toward the casual side of things.

Unless everyone's okay with crazy long posts from me?
also I don't mind crazy long posts personally, they have a nice character to them, and I enjoy reading them. When I can I'll try to add detail, etc to mine if it makes you feel better, too. I can't Write super long posts but I can do 10-15 paragraphs when I'm not in the middle of conversation, haha

I have no problem with your post length. I like your characters and think they can add to the group. If you're too terribly self conscious about it, I can't make you stay, but I think I'll like having your characters around. I don't mind having a patchwork quilt look to the story between more detailed and more casual styles.

I always did love quilts ;)

Yeah, That's how I feel Sliep. As long as we aren't doing much less than paragraph-long posts or letting people in who don't really follow whats happening and post random stuff like some RP's I'm good with whatever style/length.

It's entirely up to you, love. Although, I wouldn't mind the company of being the only one hahaha.

As stated, I don't WANT to leave.

I have, however, been kicked out of casual RPs for not adhering to the post length. :/ Which is why I've been leery to make another post. Although, I've been following along.

Just didn't want that to happen again.

I can have a post up tonight.

I'm crazy excited about Ben meeting the tiger. It'll be interesting. hahahaha.

Well, I won't kick you out for that! The only thing as far as the technical aspect of the post goes I'd kick someone out for would be unreadability. Clearly you don't have a grammar problem!

I'll try and up my post length myself too.

Don't feel like you have to do that :)

I've just been kind of sitting here trying to figure out a way to lower my paragraph count, but if I'm in no danger of being kicked out, I won't worry about it.

It'll be a few hours before I can get my post up, but I'm thinking I'm just going to have Ben and Charlie get curious and head over toward you guys.

Cool?

Reminders:

@Kylesar1 and @xScreaminGhostx

The cold means MOST zombies are not moving. There are some, but no massive hordes unless you attracted virtually all the zombies in the city. The tone of the RP should remain semi-serious, with zombies being a fair threat and not so much like something from Dynasty Warriors.

@Sleipnir

Kennebunk has a population of over 10,000, so when there's a loud gunshot in an almost mute town with a population that big, There's bound to be a crowd. Not only that, but the breaking glass is attracting more

No worries. I know how to keep it reasonable.

@xScreaminGhostx

@Kylesar1

Fair warning, Benjamin will be in town soon with Charlie, and if either of your characters pull any of this insane shit around him, he will shoot them.

He has zero patients for silliness, especially right now. (And let's be honest...they're being silly.)

No worries. Your character can get shot too

True that.
This could be interesting.

Seriously though...Benjamin's not going to stand for this insanity.
And Sam's not gonna stand for being shot at, so prepare for a gunfight if he can't stand a bit of self-control

I can't seem to formulate a response that won't get me booted from the site. I'd rather not do that, so instead, I'll tell you you're being rather silly, and I'll leave it at that.

So, I'm out.

Sorry @Sleipnir I can't take this seriously anymore. I was down for everything until this whole thing popped up.

Not to mention, this particular person seems to have no issue feeling as though they get to tell the GM how to run things, I'm not sure I'm interested in RPing in such an environment.

In any case, I'm out.

Have a good day.

Well

I'm not pleased with how this panned out.

I will see less attitude in the OOC from now on. It's one thing to warn another about a potential adverse reaction from a character, but it must be tempered.

I run this shindig. I am deciding how the world moves. It is mine.

@xScreaminGhostx your character will treat the threats and scenarios presented in this game appropriately as if they are true dangers. If not I will not accept your character nor will the group.

This won't happen again.

Well.... Reading that from the outside just confused me a lot... Huh....

That seemed to go 0-100 real fast. Though I too am very frustrated with how silly the reactions from Jacen are.

Just voicing my opinion.

Not certain how Sam is being silly yet... :/

Whatever the case is, it's done now. Let's move on.

Right.

Once we've separated into groups, we'll be going to grab stuff. Some zombies are still around, but most of them are buried by snow or frozen. Raiders are also a very real threat.

I also have a trick or two up my sleeve...

You better have..

Seriously tho... we are in the middle of chaos while the first group is just chilling on the train...
