Monsters Have Pets, They're Called Humans.

Tero's hands started to get closer to the ground, breaking even more stuff. The look in his eyes wasn't that of "I need to get someone back" but instead it was a look of "I want to kill all these people." People started freezing solid and others spontaneously combusted, people were dying left and right. Tero looked at the tower, and using all of his hands, he picked it up and spun around, dragging the tower with him. He threw it at the tower they brought Kiara in, the tower colliding into the other tower only taking three fourths off of it.

When the towers collided the one she was in partly collapsed. Every surviving paladin and holy monster fought Tero, most of the inquisitors had died. An overload of optimism was needed to think that Kiara remained unharmed, she left the tower with a nasty head injury and escaped into the nearby woods, hiding in the undergrowth until this bloodbath was over, sobbing quietly.

It wasn't that long after the bloodbath was over. 'Why was I here?' He thought to himself. 'Oh yeah, I brought Kiara here to... Where's Kiara?' He looked around, searching for his pet, until he got to the other tower. He saw a trail of blood that lead to the woods, meaning either Kiara escaped or one of those Paladins. He followed the trail until it lead him to the woods, where he heard soft sobbing. "Kiara?" He said, looking around.

Kiara heard him calling for her, and she tried her best to stop sobbing. Right now she really didn't want him to find her. As much as she got to like him, in moments like this she was reminded of what he truly was. A monster, a reckless killing machine. What was she thinking? He had attacked her home, killed innocent people and kidnapped her - and now he just did the same when humans tried to protect her.

"Kiara?" Tero asked, his head turning around 360 degrees. "Probably, one of those Paladins." He said, smirking. "Hey, Religion Slave, that was fun, so tell all your little friends about what happened here and I'll come back and gladly kill them. Do that and I WON'T kill you."

Seeing the beast he truly was Kiara just wanted to get away from him. She started running, branches whipped her face and she stumbled across roots but she didn't care. All she did was running without looking back. Blood ran down the side of her face, one of the bricks that fell when the tower collapsed hit her head but fortunately she hadn't lost consciousness, otherwise she would be dead now.

Tero's head whipped around to check what he just talked to and saw Kiara, running away from him. "Kiara?! I didn't mean for you to hear that!" He said, one of his hands grabbing her and bringing her to him.

The moment he grabbed her she started thrashing, much worse than she did when he first kidnapped her. "No! Let go! Put me down!" she yelled, still crying as she tried to struggle free from his grip, vines appearing around his hand as in her panic her magic was triggered.

Tero let go, his heart was broken. The last few days were the happiest he can remember him being, he couldn't remember what he did before he had Kiara. What did he do? Oh yeah, killing. "Kiara, if you have to leave me, can you at least send some armies or something after me?" He asked, most people would think he was crazy, though it was what he wanted. If they killed him, he wouldn't have to deal with the emptiness of his existence, but if he wins, he distracts himself from that.

"Why does it always have to end with killing?" she sobbed, dropping to her knees. She wasn't calm but at least she didn't panic anymore as he had let go of her. He wasn't forcing her into submission or hurting her, something you could expect from a monster holding a human child as a pet. Even though he thought of her as his pet, he didn't treat her like one - she felt more like they were friends. Kiara didn't seem like she was going to run away or continue to trash around if he touched her, she was merely going through the after effects of the traumatizing event. After all, she was still a young girl and she was scared. In moments like this her mother would always pick her up and hold her close until she calmed down.

(I'm at a McDonalds and Office Depot's Wi-fi is still stronger than McDonald's)

"Umm... Here." He said, grabbing a fruit off of a tree. "Eat this, eating helps me feel better." Tero said, handing a fruit to her.

(Oh great, now I'm hungry xD )

Kiara hesitated, then slowly took the fruit and ate a few bites. After a while she had calmed down but she still looked sad, and the head injury caused her a lot of pain. The small girl stood up and climbed back on his palm, curling up in his large hand. Even though he scared her, he was all she had left.

Tero was disappointed in himself, but at least now Kiara knew why her people called him the "Dismembered Terror." He gently floated back to their home, and laid Kiara on her bed. He went back to the sacred towers and got both holy stones, he wanted to see if one could give him healing magic.

(I know what the green tab means. I didn't reply anymore because I went to sleep, to me it was midnight)

Kiara curled up under the warm sheets, cuddling a plushie as she slept. She didn't know where Tero went. Actually she didn't even want to know. Whatever he was doing now, she hoped it had nothing to do with more killing...

Tero tried the first stone, nope, just a laser. He tried the second stone, damn it, just a magical sword creation thing. Tero's head and one of his arms floated to Kiara's cage to check on her, his hand opening the door.

Kiara was still asleep when he peeked into her cage. A bandage made from vines and patched up the wound, but there were some bloodstains on the pillow and the plushie she was cuddling. The blanket was pulled all the way up to her chin, the loss of blood seemed to have made her feel so cold that she hid under her blanket to stay warm.

Tero looked at a rock in the shape of a candlestick, he made a small ball of fire and dropped it into the candlestick rock. "I'll check in again later." He said, floating back out the cage.

Kiara stirred a bit in her sleep as she heard his voice. She sat up and saw that the door of her cage hadn't closed completely, giving her a chance to leave the cage. Kiara took advantage of the opportunity and left the cage and cave, heading for the river to wash the pillow and clean the wound.

"I'm, uhh... Really sorry about what happened." Tero said, apologetically. "I kind of lost myself back there. What do you want to do when you heal up?" Tero asked.

"No more exploring..." she murmured quietly, wincing as she cleaned the wound. This headache wouldn't stop for a while. She changed the bandage and cleaned the pillow, sighing softly.

"We can go fishing." Tero said, obviously trying his best to try and get his mind off of the reality that Kiara would be happier back in her village.

"Fishing?" she asked, actually looking excited. She remembered that her late grandfather had often brought her along when he went fishing and she always had a lot of fun.

"Yes, fishing." Tero said, "We can go fishing once you heal up, and would you like something to eat?"
