Monsters Have Pets, They're Called Humans.

[LadyPhantom]

"And because of that they can get in a lot of trouble..." Kiara said, telling him about witch hunts, the banishing of druids and the crusades. "I was taught that magic is something bad, something evil that should not exist. And that everyone who uses magic is evil"

 

[Dolches]

"Ehh... It's sort of correct." Tero said. "I killed a lot of humans using magic just to get one thing, and humans have been at war with Elves for a while, so I guess I know why they don't like magic users."

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Probably because as long as there is magic there will always be someone who abuses it to do bad things..." she murmured, sitting down in her cage as she grabbed another stuffed animal. "A few years ago a man I really liked was burned alive because he secretly performaned necromancy... He was a really nice man and just wanted to get his late wife back... He didnt deserve this..."

 

[Dolches]

"They don't like Necromancy, because in their eyes, when somebody dies they should stay dead." Tero said, "Anyway, are we going to get going or not?"

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Let's go" Kiara said quietly and waited for him to open the door and take her out of her cage. She didn't feel good about this, but she knew he would protect her. She was his pet after all.

 

[Dolches]

Tero opened the door to her cage and the hand that opened the door waited for her to get on.

 

[LadyPhantom]

Kiara climbed on and took a seat on his palm, wrapping his fingers gently around her for protection. "Are there holy monsters?" she asked, tilting her head.

 

[Dolches]

"As long as there is an Element, there is a monster that uses it." Tero said.


(I apologize for the slow posting, I'm doing something.)

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Are holy monsters as aggressive as you are?" she asked, being used to linking holy to something good.


(That's completely alright, I'm multitasking right now too ^^)

 

[Dolches]

"Almost every monster is aggresive." Tero said as he started floating to the portal.

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Do other monsters have pets too?" she asked, looking at the portal. A holy monster... what would that look like? Holy and monster sounded quite contradictory.

 

[Dolches]

"No, I haven't ever seen a monster with a pet." Tero said as they got to the portal.

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Maybe they will get pets too after they saw us together" Kiara guessed. "When is my next lesson in magic?" she asked, knowing even tho she had mastered her element there was still a lot she had to learn about magic in general.

 

[Dolches]

"Your next magic lesson may be holy magic, if things go wrong." Tero joked as he entered the portal.

 

[LadyPhantom]

"So exorcism it is" Kiara giggled and began to fuss around in his hand, trying to climb out, saying "I wanna ride on your head!"

 

[Dolches]

"Sure." Tero said as his head lowered to his hand.

 

[LadyPhantom]

Kiara climbed up and took a seat on top of his head, giggling as they continued the ride that way. The view was amazing, she actually got excited as they sacred tower appeared in the distance.

 

[Dolches]

As they floated over to it, some people ran away screaming, while others also ran away screaming. "Yeah, I don't think they're friendly." Tero said.

 

[LadyPhantom]

"And those look angry!" she replied, pointing at a group of paladins and inquisitors preparing an attack.

 

[Dolches]

"Oh, they do look a little angry." Tero said, his head turning to look at them. Tero's head started getting both warmer and colder and one of his hands grabbed Kiara and moved her away from his head. Tero blasted the Paladins with a mixture of fire and ice breath.

 

[LadyPhantom]

Noticing the presence of a human child the monster's clutches the surviving paladins and inquisitors changed their strategy. They started to split up and surround Tero, more paladins that had remained unnoticed on the higher levels of the tower threw nets at the segments of his body to forcefully separate them.

 

[Dolches]

The chain of segments that resembles a tail was mostly unaffected, and the hand holding Kiara put her on Tero's head, which wasn't hit by a net. All of Tero's hands started shooting thorns, shreding the nets to nothing. His hands started shooting thorns at the tower, trying to get the Paladins up there.

 

[LadyPhantom]

"Tero stop!" Kiara cried out, she hated that he was killing humans who were merely defending themselves. She didn't get to say another word as something hit her and knocked her off his head. After a few seconds of free fall she was caught by something that clearly wasn't Tero's hand. As she looked up she was held by the claws of a large glowing phoenix, but this one was made of light instead of fire as it seemed. Could it be a holy monster? Kiara tried to struggle free as it carried her away from Tero, more of its sort supported the paladins and inquisitors to take Tero down. Could it be that those monsters had been tamed?

 

[Dolches]

Tero was getting pretty bored, but when something took Kiara, he got really pissed off. All his hands spun around him, and the magic holding him together materialized. It's color was some combination of white, black, red, light blue, and green. His hands started glowing too, all six were glowing black as the magic holding him together also started glowing black. His hands flew straight up and down came lazers of unholy magic, tearing through all holy creatures it hit. His hands started moving in circles and moving outwards like a bullet hell game.

 

[LadyPhantom]

Unable to watch the rampage he was going on Kiara stopped squirming and covered her ears, squeezing her eyes shut. The phoenix carried her away to another tower, its swarm kept Tero busy. A group of inquisitors dragged her inside the tower as the phoenix dropped her, reassuring her that they'd protect her from this beast - no one seemed to listen to her begging to stop the fight.
