Monster

Sarah had no idea she was going to be jerked out of the trailer and as Caleb ram she dropped her box and he was pinned she sucked in a deep breath and scream as loud as she could since the box was somewhere she couldn't find it tears running down her cheeks as she kept the scream going as long as possible

Caleb's vision swam, his father's claws sinking deep into his arms, shoulders, and thighs. But when he heard the scream the wolf stirred, growling and building up energy. In his state Caleb was unable to stop the shift as it came and the wolf gained full control quickly. He snarled furiously and clamped his jaws over the white wolf's shoulder, shaking until his father jumped away. Immediatly Caleb sprang after him, jaws open wide and claws outstretched.

The two wolves rolled, a furious blur, but because of Caleb's already weakened state, the adrenaline rush from his wolf wore thin. He fired one last blow, knocking the white wolf, fur now stained with blood, out and into the bushes. Seeing his chance Caleb used the last of his willpower to shift back, clothes tattered, and staggered over to Sarah.

He scooped up the box and pushed it into her arms before weakly starting to push her towards the car. "You gotta go, now, all he wants is me, but if you stay he'll get you too. Go go go go, you need to stay safe."

(I've got to go eat dinner)

Sarah held the box so tight it almost cracked but she wouldn't let that happen she was scared and shook her head " I can't drive " she stumbled a fell backwards grunting she wined a bit and stayed where she was listening around since she couldn't see her eyes had formed that glaze that blind people had unable to see his father she only smelled him and growled low and deep getting highly protective of Caleb she stood up still holding the box tight

Caleb looked at her frantically, glancing over at his father's unconsious form, any moment now it would be roaring to life, come to finish him off. He saw her protective stance and flinched, this was bad, very few wolves ever challenged Caleb's father and won, it simply wasn't done. The white wolf was a skilled and sirty fighter, using any means necessary to win and crush his opponent. "Y-you can't fight him, Sarah please, at least run. I'll be ok, in a few weeks I should be out of the house. I-I'll find a way to contact you to tell you when your trailer is safe again. I don't want you hurt because of me, please just go." Caleb begged her, trying again to give her a nudge away from his father, whom he looked back at frantically, dreaing the moment he'd wake up.

Sarah growled louder and put the box in his arms she turned towards the smell of his dad and resisted in wolf form pitch black her muscles quivered and her fur billowed as she move slowly getting in a fighting stance in front of Caleb she didn't care if she couldn't see Caleb was her and no one was going to take him away from her win or lose she is leaving with Caleb and her box

Caleb's eyes widened as he realized what she was doing and he opened his mouth quickly o tell her to stop, but sure enough, right then the white and red wolf stirred. His father snarled, slowly climbing to his feet and shaking his pelt to rid it of the blood.

"Oh what's this, got yourself a little bitch to take care of ya? Heh, I don't think you know what you've gotten yourself into, girlie. Step aside, it's lover boy here I want, not the sorry likes of you." He growled in wolfspeak, a smirk twisting his snout as he flashed his fanga at Sarah.

Caleb's wolf yearned to get out furious at the crude language his father used to refer to her. But he had lost to much blood, he was too weak to shift again, the action would take nearly all his remaining energy, and he needed that in case he had to fight again.

Suddenly he had an idea, and ran inside thd trailer, coming back out with aknife held behind his back. As long as Sarah held him back long enough, Caleb could probably get to his father with the knife, ensuring both his and her safety.

Srah snarled lifting uo on her back oaws she brought her front paws crashing down, shw may be blind but that doesn't make her any less scary her black fur glimmered in the partly shadowed clearing

If he'd been in human form, the white wolf would have lifted an eyebrow, instead he simply kickrd his chops, eyeing her stance.

"To the death, girlie, to the death, no backing out now."

Caleb flinched at his fathers snarled words, and tightened his grip on the knife as much as he could before he began limping around the clearing. His father started circling the other wolf, examining her, he ahowed the slightest tightness in the muscles of his left shoulder which were damaged severely, but the white wolf never showed weakness.

Instead he leaped forward, slightly favoring that shoulder as he darted beneath her, claws spread to knock her legs from beneath her and send her flying.

Sarah jumped and instead landed on the white wolf growling her about inches from his through the ground she could feel him moving since everyone gave off a vibration she felt it and knew where he was and what he wants doing, having easily pinned him she pressed harder on his injured shoulder and cane down she bite his other shoulder

The white wolf grimaced, flashes of pain stinging through him and let himself go limp for a moment. After waiting he lifted his muzzle up and sank his jaws deep into her shoulder, his hind legs clawing upwards at her belly to get her off.

The crimson color of both wolves blood mingled, a stark contrast to Caleb's father's bright white fur. Caleb watched as both White, black and red mingled and twisted, keeping his gazed focused on the white neck. He dragged himself closer, pulling the knife out and waiting patiently for the right moment.

Sarah winced she clawed around the belly and chest area of the white wolf snarling as she was pushed her grip was too strong and the tumbled around she reached and went at the white wolf's neck biting hard

The while wolf grimaced, his eyes showing a flipse of fear as he realized he was too weak from the previous fight to get out of her incredibly strong grip. Caleb watched in shock as his father finally had a worthy match, and sarah dug in her fangs for the killing bite.

One could argue that it was the fact that the white wolf was weakened from the earlier battle, or that perhaps the shred of goodness in him allowed him to be beaten. But Caleb knew from watching that it was Sarah, her strength that had finally done him in.

As his father howled, and choked, writhing beneath the black wolf with his dying breath, a small, exhausted prideful smile crept onto Caleb's face.

"You did it... oh god, Sarah you did it."

Sarah licked the inside of her muzzle and backed off Caleb's father dripping blood of her own and the white wolf's she gaged that was the fist time she had killed another wolf she hadn't meant to and felt really bad about it but right now she was going into shock and he gaged again shaking a bit she crumpled layin on her side she shifted back and threw up then fainted still covered in blood and bleeding

Caleb's eyes widened and he dropped the knife then limped over to her unconscious form. His hands drifted over her, eyes wide and nervous, slightly afraid to touch. He need to dress her wounds, but there was too much blood to see anything.

Caleb frowned as a thought occured to him and ran inside, grabbing a towel and draping it over his shoukder before gingerly picking her up. It was slow going with his weak body, but he managed to get her to the pond, where he immediatly slid her into the water.

Brow furrowed in focus, Caleb washed the excess blood away, then used strips from both of their tattered clothing to start bandaging her up. As he worked he murmured softly, voice soothing and gentle with a tint of fear.

"Come on Sarah, come on, don't die on me..."

Sarah was limp as he carried her and when she was put in the pond a lot of dirt and blood washed off she blinked awake and leaned her head on his arm when he wrapped up her shoulder " Are you OK? " she asked not even worrying about herself

Caleb jumped as she spoke, and a relieved smile covered his face. He placed a small kiss on her forehead before setting back to work. He quickly finished the shoulder bandages and lifted up the remains of her shirt to start wrapping her stomach. With a shrug he dismissed her question.

"I'm almost done here, I'll probably have to carry you back, if you don't mind, I don't think your legs are quite ready for walking. Then you can rest and I'll make lunch-oh and I put your box inside the trailer, just in case you're looking for it."

Caleb said, then finished with her stomach and washed his hands in the pond before preparing the pick her up.

Sarah turned her head to him and backed away a bit she asked again " Are you OK? " she winced a bit but ignored it and waited for an answer

Caleb sighed and sat back on his knees, rubbing his forehead with a slightly shaking hand and a tired expression.

"I've been better, now come on we need to get back, the sooner you eat the better, you need to regain your energy."

He said, dropping his hands and standing up before taking a step forward towards her.

Sarah paused for a moment and struggled to her feet weak she managed to stay standing she felt all the fish movin in the pond she shivered getting cold

Caleb walked over and held his arms out, but didn't pick her up out of courtesy for her wishes.

"I really wish you'd let me carry you back, it'll keep you warmer and you need to stay off your leg." He said quietly, touching her shivering shoulder and looking at her with nervous eyes.

Sarah shook her head " I don't want you hurting yourself for me " she limped out of the pond and towards her trailer she pulled her hair behind her and hugged her sides so it wouldn't hurt as much

Caleb watched the way she moved, he cursed and she his head, hurrying after her and swinging his arms beneath her to hoist her up. He held her firmly against his chest and ignored his limp so he was walking normally.

"That wasn't a suggeation. You aren't fit to walk. It's not hurting me, besides my injuries are not nrealy as bad as yours. Do you think I'd be even offering if I was more injured?"

Caleb asked her, his voice firm, perhaps the not hurting him part was stretching the truth a bit.. ok so he basically lied, but he didn't want her to worry about him.

Sarah winced and sucked in a breath she growled " Fine, but if I find out that your lying to me... " she did t finish for a dramatic effect so his mind ould roam on what she might do

Caleb inwardly winced but just rolled his eyes and shook his head, dismissing the threat. They soon arrived at the trailer and he pushed the door open, carrying her in and setting her gingerly on the bed beside the wooden box.

"Whatever, what kind of sandwich do you want for lunch?"

Caleb asked, moving to his backpack and unzipping it before pulling out the loaf of sandwich bread and peanut butter. He began rummaging around, trying to find a butter knife and some plates.

Sarah grumbled to herself and heard him looking for something she got up and opened a cabinet wincing she grunted but pulled out two plates and a butter knife having smelled peanut butter she closed the cabinet and limped over to him bittibg her tongue not to wince
