Sarah had fallen asleep on the way back and laid in the trailer asleep she winced slightly when she moved to roll onto her other side she shifted back into human form

Caleb wiped the sweat from his brow as he finished setting everything up and sat beside the bed, chest heaving in and out as he caught his breath. Something in the back of his mind told him he had to get all his stuff from the car, but Caleb ignored it and watched her sleep, his breath coming back and his heart rate slowing as he watched. He lifted on hand absentmindedly and gently moved her hair out of her face, looking at her closed eyes for a moment before dropping his hand again.

Sarah relaxed and sighed she hugged her pillow shaking slightly she was asleep for a while curled up it began to rain hard and by a loud clap of thunder she jolted awake scared

Caleb climbed onto the bed beside her, crossing his legs and pulling her into his lap, he held her in his arms, a small smile on his face as he comforted her from the thunder.


"You're awake.. how do tou feel love?"


He asked softly, pulling away and looking her over to make sure all he bandages and the two splints had stayed in place.

" A little sore " Sarah said quietly and when another vlap of thunder sounded she squand moved closer to Caleb she was shaking, scared of the thunder

He held her back against his chest, legs extended around her and arms enveloped in a firm but gentle hug.


"Im glad, after I saw you in the road, I-I.. well I'm just glad you're ok."


Caleb said with a small smile before placing a soft kiss on the top of her head and resting his chin there.

Sarah smiled she was happy he wasn't mad anymore and tensed every time thunder shook the trailer she stayed close to him feeling safe and warm she forgot about the pain

"You should get some sleep, you need to stay rested."


Caleb said, pulling his arms away and untangling himself from her, he stretched for a moment before swinging his legs off the bed and grabbing the blankets he'd slept with last time.


"I think I'll get some rest too, didn't get much sleep last night, I'll be down here if you need me."


He said, smiling at her and gesturing to the floor before starting to position the blankets and pillow around himself.

Sarah blinked she didn't like it when he left her and laid down curling up shaking a bit she didn't fall asleep for a while but waited till Caleb was asleep then she crawled into bed with him and curled up snuggling against him

Caleb pretended to sleep,slowing his breathing and closing his eyes, preparing to watch Sarah when she fell asleep. But she surprised him by crawling onto the floor with him, so Caleb made the best of it and, with a yawn stretched his arm around her, holding her closer to his chest and waiting for her to fall asleep. Maybe he could pick her up and move her to thebed without waking her, it would be more comfortable.

Sarah's muscles quivered she was afraid of thunder but never told anyone, her grip tightened around him as she slowly drifted to sleep

Because he was patient, Caleb waited until a good ten minutea after she'd drifted off to gingerly lifted her up, his arms already positioned around her. He set her down on the bed and started to move away when he realized how strong her grip was. Caleb tried gently tugging on her arms but they wouldn't give, and he sat awkwardly, half in her embrace, debating what to do. Finally he decided they knew eachother well enough to sleep together, and curled into the bed beside her. He pulled the blankets up to keep her comfortable and held her back to his bare chest, curling his arms in a gentle embrace round her waist. "Goodnight, love."


Caleb breathed into her hair.

Sarah nuzzled Caleb and curled close to him relaxing she slept soundly her head on his chest he shared body heat with her and inreturn she shared body heat with him their scents began to mix slowly the longer they stayed together by morning it would be mixed

Caleb slept like a rock, but suxh was his habit, woke up round dawn, with the intoxicating scent of his own and Sarah's combined overnight. With a soft smile as he lay and watch he sleep, he kissed her forehead and rubbed his thumb over her cheek before turning with his back to her. He sat up and swung his legs over the edge of the bed before stretching his arms over his head and letting out a tired, but refreshed yawn.

Sarah felt Caleb move away she gently felt around for him till her hand bumped his thigh she yawned and rubbed her eyes softly whispering " morning " she sat up halfway

Caleb turned and lifted an eyebrow at her as he felt her hand on his thigh, he let out a chuckle as he turned and spun her around, so she sat beside him on the edge of the bed. He turned her around so she sat facing him, and pulled her torso across his, pressing a light, delicate kiss to her nose. "Morning love, did you sleep well?"

Sarah squeaked a but and blushed when he picked her up and put her on the bed, she smiled and nodded " Yes "
