"Stop moving if it hurts, injured person." Minnie lightly scolded though she didn't stop him from pushing his blanket. Taking a moment to tuck him in too before snuggling up to him and being mindful of his wounds.

". . . When you don't feel pain anymore, I'll take up your offer and use you as a pillow." She said with a small giggle before taking a quiet moment to think. The corner of her lips pointed down as she tries to put it into words without sounding like a crazy person.

"Hm-!" Her cheeks turned red when he focused on her, not used to that, and leaned in his hands; the only hand she has held onto the blanket he pulled up. Her heart sped up as she tries to form words. "I-I um . . . I-I heard and s-something p-pushed me a-and I g-g-got scared an-and saw an-"

" Healer's Den "​

Sen opened his mouth to protest, saying he wants to put her comfort first, but then he clamped his mouth. Maybe he was thinking of himself again suggesting that, instead of doing what Minnie wants. "Alright, Minnie." He still looked distracted as he thought that no, maybe he's controlling.

Her sudden change of tone alarmed him. As though he thought Minnie had seen a phantom. "A what? Where?"

"Healer's den"​

Minnie gulped, taking a moment to try and make sense. Then she talked.

"I-I heard s-somebody t-telling me t-to not give up. I-In my head. I know it wasn't the assassin, he was busy c-choking me." Sitting up a bit, she loosened her bandages and turned around; pulling her hair away to show what's underneath. There is five jagged clawed scars from the back of her neck and it ended close to her collarbone with harsh purple bruising around it. Shaped like a hand. Four on one side and the last on the other.

"I-I managed to beat him off a-and I-I was about to le-let you and S-seth know t-that I w-won only t-to hear it again. B-But it was ur-urging me to run to A-Ath'ens a-and I got really scared. I w-was terrified th-that something happened to you and I just - I couldn't remember i-If I ran or rode my horse there b-but I saw the red cloak from the inside of the temple and shot the remaining bullets a-and -" Minnie took a shaky breath.

"I was terrified seeing you hanging onto the edge like that a-and u-used my m-man-manna to g-get you down. I-I couldn't think straight, I k-kept p-praying f-for you to s-stay a-alive and-"

Sen felt a chill of fear go down his spine upon seeing Minnie's wounds. She too almost died. He felt a flash of anger for these assassins, followed by a relief that she was here right now safe and her foe was dead. He caressed her face soothingly, "Well, whoever that was, he . . . or she was on our side . . . Do you think it was . . . " he paused as though he thought the next words he was going to say might be silly. " . . . the goddess? . . . Because I swear, it was like she was helping me tonight."

"Healer's Den"​

" . . . " She sighed in content as he soothed her, leaning in his hand like a cat wanting more attention. Her tense shoulders slumped. It's rather rare for her to have small affections like this from him. Especially when there's a machine in front of him or not in this case . . .

Minnie was surprised that he didn't even ask about her metal arm, which was damaged from beating the assassin and using her magic to bend metals.

"M-Maybe. The voices I heard sounded female . . . "

Then, realizing something, Minnie softly bumped heads again. Concentrating on something and she let out a grunt as she leaned back a bit. "You're warm. Towel, towel, towel-!" She crowed at the end, spotting the cart with a bowl of water and a small towel hanging on it's railing. Problem is the cart is too far unless she stood up to get it . . . but she didn't want to move away . . .

Narrowing her eyes and sticking her tongue out in concentration, his tiny beau pressed down his hand on her cheek with her own hand and reached for the cart with one of her feet. Toes wiggling as she nudge the cart a bit. "Come on . . ."

Nudge. Nudge. One more nudge annnd-

"Ah-ha!" Minnie grinned, pulling the cart closer to the bed. Sitting closer to Sen, her hip touching his waist as she dipped the towel in the cooling water before squeezing it in her fist. Then she dapped around his face and placed it on his heated forehead, forgetting about re-wrapping her own bandages.

"There . . . If the goddesses were helping us, then I want to thank them for doing so. C-can we go to their temples when you feel better?" She asked, wondering if maybe this time they can do something together and outside of the castle.

Sen looked up at Minnie smiling when they bumped heads, then hugged her. He gave her a quizzical look when she started to reach for the cart with her toes.

"What are you doing?" he puzzled, knowing Minnie can attract metal using magic.

"Minnie, you're so cute, I can't." said Sen, covering his eyes when she was triumphant. He smiled as she wiped his brow, keeping his arms around her affectionately.

"Yes, let's visit!" said Sen excitedly.

"Healer's Den"​

". . . I'm awesomely cute." Minnie playfully pouted as she lightly dabbed his forehead. Turning red when he left his arms around her. Her pout softened into a happy smile when she saw how excited he got to the idea to visiting.

"Okay!" She replied just as excitedly, reaching up to knead his arm fondly. "We'll go to Ath'ens first, then Aphro'ite's and then He'ra. Heheh~" His tiny beau swayed her upper body in place, being careful to not mess up her scabbing wounds on her neck. After asking a maid, who came in to check on them, for food, Minnie snuggled up to Sen. Again, being mindful to his chest wounds.

She took her bandages off since it's okay now, she just can't move her neck much.

"Sen?" Minnie's tone is curious and a bit hesitant. ". . . How come you haven't asked about my rifle arm?"

" Healer's Den "​

"Yes, you are cute!" nodded Sen in agreement, grinning, then gently hugged her hips. He lightly swayed with her happily, stopping when he felt another sting of pain from his chest. But it was just a little, and soon his grin was back as they snuggled together, the twin giving Minnie another kiss on the forehead, as he snuggled into her hair and just kept his lips there, breathing in her scent.

"Oh! You're arm! Right, I was so glad to see you I didn't think about it at all. What happened to it, Minnie?"

She smelled like summer ocean seas with hints of coconuts. He can see the simmering red appearing on her face as he snuggled into her hair, feeling her arm wrap around him too. Her eyes were wide in disbelief and happy he was more worried about her then her arm.

That pleasant feeling calmed to a bashful and a bit shameful pang in her chest when she thought about the condition of her arm. "Um . . . Well I had to um . . ."

"Assassin held my arm, claws in it, and I had to kick him between his legs so he can let go . . . Then i bashed him on the head with my arm . . ." She admitted quietly, half expecting him to lean away from her. So she snuggled her face in the nook between his shoulder and neck.

". . . It has dents . . . A lot of dents and some of the part fell apart when he jammed his claws in there." She answered, sounding muffled.

" Healer's Den "​

"Oh, okay. " said Sen simply. "We can ask Princess Milk for help repairing it as soon as possible. I'm glad it was sturdy enough to get you through the fight." He sighed in relief.

"We almost died last night, huh?" Sen burried his nose in Minnie's hair to be consoled. " . . . Minnie, I'm thinking of taking a long vacation. Maybe a year or two from guildwork. I wonder if there is something you want to do?"

Minnie froze, once again surprised. Her blue eyes looked up to stare at his chin. Then she comfortingly rubbed his back and pecked his neck.

"You mean do something together?" She whispered on his neck. ". . . C-can I read books to you?" Minnie shyly asked, turning redder.

"Of course you can! " laughed Sen, as though it was a very small thing to ask from him. He chuckled, tickled by the neck kiss, before relaxing from her back rubs.

"Could you read me whatever you're currently into nowadays?" he resumed caressing her hair and rubbing her back too.

"This feels great, like we're getting closer than before, Minnie." His soft green eyes looked at her with a lot of tenderness. "I want to spend more time with you, but not like before. Where we were together but I wasn't really with you because I was looking at work. I want to be really with you. Like right now." he nuzzled her forehead.

"This is strange. Missing someone I'm always with."

"Healer's Den"​

Minnie brightened up, eyes shined happily as she tickled him some more with kisses on his neck. "Of course!" Oooh~ She couldn't wait to read the Larry Potter book to Sen now.

"Right now, I'm reading a series and I just started Book one . . ." His tiny beau sighed, melting from his tender caresses and rubs, enjoying the light tugs of her hair. When she looked up from under his chin, gazing back fondly, her smile grew lovingly as she listened. "I really want to be with you too . . ."

Taking a deep breathe of his scent, relaxing in his arms, the gunswoman wondered about something as Sen said 'Missing someone I'm always with'. Once again, looking hesitant on mentioning her thoughts. "Sen? Maybe I . . . I think I should stop being your secretary and work in something else after we are done with our mission here."

"W-what?" said Sen, surprised and then his hug became possessive. "We won't be together?" he looked distressed.

Minnie cupped his cheek, comfortingly rubbing with her thumb. "We're still gonna be together as fiancees, just . . . not as the employer and employee."

She wrapped a leg over his waist and pulled him closer, wanting to calm his stress. "It's like you said: You missed someone who's always close by. I think it might be best to separate our private lives and work lives by not working together. I can still come with you when you need a bodyguard but . . . I have to think about our future too." Minnie started to blush cherry red.

"I-In case we have children together . . . "

"What'll you be doing?" asked Sen tentatively, his hold around her relaxing a bit.

Minnie pondered for a while, nuzzling her nose under his chin to smell his oddly calming scent. "I-I don't know yet. Maybe I can write full-time? Or perhaps I should work as a writing teacher?"

She sighed. "What do you think I could do, Sen?"

"I don't know." he admitted, deep in thought. He took a deep breath. "Minnie, if this makes you happy, then I support you. " he said steadily, then his voice became small. "Just . . . I mean . . . we'll still have time for each other before we die, right? You're not doing this because you like me less, right?" he looked a bit insecure and a little wary.

There was an offended and hurt glint in her eyes before closing them and taking another deep breathe.

"I went through a war zone just to find you." She started quietly, bopping their foreheads together again. "I volunteered to hunt evil snipers just so I can be the first to know what has happened to you. I shot a giant because it was in my way of saving you." Minnie sounded sad that he doesn't believe her, yet she's still trying to comfort his fears with rubs on his back and rubbing her nose on his.

"Last night, when I saw you with chest wounds, I panicked. I cried. I paced back and forth in worry and the healers scolded me for not staying in my bed to rest. I only calmed down when they finally let me stay with you." Minnie admitted, opening her eyes halfway. Baring her sensitive soul to Sen.

"Sen, I like you. I'm doing this because what we were doing before wasn't . . . it wasn't a romantic relationship. It was a co-worker partnership. A business relationship. That's not . . . That's not how people in love behave around each other . . ."

" Healer's Den "​

"Okay." nodded Sen in understanding, his hold on her comfortable and reassured now. "Sorry, Minnie, I thought maybe you wanted to get away from me for some reason." he rubbed her back to show he understood her now. He became sad as he listened and recalled how they were before they had that talk last night.

"You're right . . . it was like that . . ." he looked down guiltily, yet determined to make it right. "I understand. Yes, let's not have that kind of relationship. Ever. I guess being busy together and looking at something else other than each other doesn't count as close . . . Sorry." he added, hugging her again.

He looked at her. "As of tonight, you shant be the guild secretary anymore, Minnie. When I'm good enough to get up I'll send a letter to the guild. I think they'll be shocked, but I can sort it out when we get back home. They'll probably be shocked at me declaring I need a two-year vacation, but we'll sort it out." he grinned. "Ah, me and the guild, not you included, Minnie." he clarified.

He settled down comfortably in her warmth just thinking. "This vacation really changed us . . . but for some reason, I feel happier." he kissed her forehead.

The comforting rubs relaxed Minnie's back, she nuzzled her rosy cheeks on his shoulder everytime he hugged her. She listened and wondered if everyone back at the guild really will be surprised that Sen wants a break and her wanting to do another job; a safer one.

". . . I should talk more. That way you don't have to guess on what I'm feeling anymore." His tiny beau concluded that perhaps it's time to really open up. Ever since she believed Aphro'ite was teasing her, Minnie pondered about how her relationship with Sen came to be and she couldn't blame him for being used to what they had. She was used to it as well, even when she didn't like it, and had kept her opinions inside. Not really talking about her own displeasure of not having the romance in their relationship despite their time together.

She should have said something earlier, but no matter. What's done is done and Minnie can only change the future events with her actions.

Smiling, now that she sees Sen feeling more comfortable about her not working with him anymore, nodded in agreement. "Yea, me too-" Minnie froze when he kissed her forehead, blushing bright cherry red.

"I-I like it when you hold me close and kiss my head." She said, kissing his neck again.

Sen pondered when Minnie said she'll talk more. "Okay" he nodded, smiling. He liked her talking more. He made a mental note to stop talking about work too, maybe he'll just talk if Minnie asks or if he has a problem he needs her help with. He chuckled, tickled when she kissed his neck.

He grinned when she said she liked how he held her. "Then I'll do it some more!" and he squeezed her as much as his body allowed, humming as he buried his nose in her hair and sniffed and playfully rubbed his cheeks all over her forehead like a big cat. "I didn't know you liked it like this." Yes, Minnie talking is definitely better. He thought for a moment.

"I like it when you tell me what you like!" he added, chipper. "And when you want to be close to me. I want to be close to you too, Minnie. And when you kiss my neck~" he leaned back and exposed more of it to her, smiling. "And just the feel of you against me." he muttered, getting comfy as his shoulders relaxed. He delicately rubbed her back. "This peace with you."

His eyes lazily blinked open to look at her. "And the way you look at me . . . that says you love me." he cupped her cheek, then lifted himself up slowly to tenderly kiss her forehead, hugging her tight. Sen sighed, content.

Minnie giggled when he squeezed her as much as he possible can, her face stayed red as she listened to him. When he exposed his neck, she smiled and placed more ticklish kisses on his neck. She drew him closer with her leg wrapped around his hip and her arm teasing the back of his head and hair. Her eyes fluttered, half-lidded and feeling comfortable and relaxed, a shiver ran down her spine from his delicate rubs on her back.

As he kissed her forehead, oh so tenderly, Minnie let out a tiny gasp; struck in her innermost core with cupid's arrow.

"How Spring is so near and within my grasp. No longer yearning as raindrops seep into my dry fertile soil and I shiver in delight~" Minnie recited, cupping his cheeks. Her teal eyes gazed into his forest greens as she whispered.

"I desire your closeness, I need your warmth, I want to hear your sensitive words that give life to my garden, Sen Pendragon~. You etched a scar in my heart with your name and I dare not let it heal, for I want you to scar me. Make me yours and yours alone as I hope you to be mine and only mine~." Completely red and enamored, the tiny poet couldn't stop her words from spilling, not anymore and like a rushing waterfall, she continued to whisper words of tender love as she lightly pecked his neck and the bandages of his chest.

Sen, surprised at her sudden gush of poetry, blushed. Captivated, he just gazed, speechless into her teal eyes, frozen by her whisper. He became redder, and redder, as his eyes glazed over, smitten.

He enjoyed her rain of affection --- to Niflheim with his injuries! He returned her affections with the rubs she liked, gentle kisses to show Minnie again and again how much he liked her. Even asked her if she wanted to make love slowly and carefully because gosh darn it he was now enamored too.

Minnie groaned, feeling cupid's arrows striking more into her beating heart with each gentle kiss Sen gives her, soothed by his rubs, and smiled lovingly at him. Her cheeks, not as red as Sen's, plumped like ripe tomatoes. When he asked if she wanted to make slow love, the tiny poet slowly shook her head, hands gliding from his teased hair down his neck and across his back in sweet comfort.

"Thy temple is mine to worship and care for~" Minnie said, sitting on his lap as she checked on his wounds again. Placing kisses from his cheeks down to his neck and chest before going up again carefully as to not irritate his wounds. "So let me care for it until thy spirit do not feel the painful stings anymore. We will sing our love song soon after when thy temple is well and firm to move."

She rubbed his palms first, then arms, then shoulders while tenderly leaving kisses and nips on his ticklish neck before planting a deep kiss on his lips. "Your eyes are my favorite color, Sen. So green like a spring meadow on a quiet and drizzling day. So calming to stare, lulling me more into your wondrous arms like a comfy patch of pillowy grass."
