Renee simply looked out of the window again, her wings flapped once as they hid her face from him. Her head was down like her neck was carrying a ton of bricks. "...Nothing's wrong." Mica, once again, snorted at James with an unimpressed look that says 'Nice going, dummy.'

Meanwhile Echo turned cherry red and quickly covered Johnny's mouth...

...with hers as they kissed deeply. Then the fawn whispered in his ear that perhaps they should go to a more private area for them to have fun. Again she kissed his ears as she squeezed his hand.

James realized he had said something wrong. He looked to the side for a moment, then closed his book and sat beside Renee. "Okay, you can trace my face, sis." he said earnestly.

Meanwhile, a lot of people wolf-whistled; Johnny loosened, cupping her cheek close, as they kissed. "Hai." he said in Oriental, standing up immediately, now as red as a shining tomato. And, hand in hand, went with Echo to a more private area to have fun.

She didn't move until she heard James sit beside her and sighed quietly again. Then she peeked past her wings to see her brother as she listened. Renee lifted her hand to hesitantly cup her brother's cheek and closed her eyes. Her thumb rubbed his cheek first, the her finger tips traced where his nose is, going up the bridge and traced his brows. Then to ears, lips, cheeks, and forehead. It's like she's trying to memorize his facial features by touch.

Her hand backed away as she finished, held close to her chest as she smiled sweetly at James. Eyes opened up again as her wings fluttered happily. "Thank you...sorry for being weird today..." Renee muttered before leaning to nuzzle her brother's arm with a cheek and then lean away to stare out the window again.

"...Well...weirder. I'm sorry that I'm being weirder."

James tried as much as possible to keep his face straight so as not to offend his sister again, but he was still stiff. When she was done though, the happy smile on his sister's face made the ewness worth it. He was still curious though. He ruffled her hair. "Are you sure nothing is wrong?" he said now looking a little worried.

Her wings fluttered when he ruffled her hair. "Yea...nothing is wrong..." Renee said quietly, cheeks turning pink as she enjoyed the ruffling. She pondered for a moment as she continued to stare like she was daydreaming. "Nothing is wrong...but...James? How would you feel if ... if I found a way for Ifrit to not take something from you when you make a wish?" She asked. Mica grumbled quietly and licked James' knuckle when he put his hand down.

Oho, not like Seifer at all, if Mica can be nice to him like this. And he rubbed the ferret's head.

"Ifrit was going to take away something from me?" said James, surprised. He had not known this. How did his sister know this. "Wait, did you go to the Storm Wall or talk to him about my wish before, Renee?"

Mica leaned against his rubbings and enjoyed it, sort of like how Renee loves someone ruffling her hair.

"...Yea...After Serena mentioned about the possibility of a wish costing something from you, I went to talk with him and...we talked about your wish for Hisaya." Renee informed her brother with an amused smile.

"I don't know. I didn't ask about it...but I do know that a body is a heavy price, according to Ifrit." Suddenly Renee grinned at her brother as her wings fluttered. "It's okay though. He's not going to take anything from you for Hisaya's body. I made sure of that."

Mica squeaked and limped on the bench, giving James' hand another lick. He's enjoying himself.

"What did you do?" said James, curiously, now tickling Mica's belly. This little guy wasn't so bad.

Renee smiled mysteriously. "...I made an offer and he agreed to it." Mica wiggled under James' hand, ticklish. He's ticklish?

"So now...you don't need to worry about him taking anything from you."

He had promised to let his sister do as she wished, so he kept himself from prying. "Alright, Renee, I'm leaving it to you then. Thank you." James held her shoulder. "One question, though, this is the first time you did something big for me, why are you suddenly doing this?"

Renee raised an eyebrow at her brother before shaking her head like she couldn't believe her brother asked her that of all things.

"James really?" Renee questioned, amused. "I love you, silly. That's why I'm doing this for you." She said, her wings fluttering with her purple cheeks turning pink.

A look of wonder then warmth overcame James. He wrapped his sister in a biiiig hug, then squeezed her tight. "I love you too, sis." he kissed her forehead, then looked at her, smiling. "I'm glad you were born."

Her wings flapped like they didn't know what to do as she stuttered. When he gave her the kiss on the forehead, James would see her face is completely red with a sweet smile. Then she hugged back as she sighed.

"Even when I drive you nuts?" She humored, giggling.

"I'm glad you were born too..."

James let out a big breath, then chuckled. "YEAH, even when you drive me nuts." he said exasperatedly. "You're alright." he gave her one more big hug that lasted a long time, before clapping her shoulder and leaning back on the seat.

For the rest of that ride, James spent the time happily chatting with his sister about the simple everyday things like how the black ash land was sprouting new grass, and how the farmers were starting to butcher their pigs now that they were close to winter when the temperature was cold enough to preserve the meat long. Most of the passengers in the train were off to the Coastal Town to buy or trade for rations, and fill their barrels with water. He had fun with Mica, picking him up and putting him on his lap where he petted him until he fell asleep.

At last the busy town came into view, chimneys smoking in the distance and the ocean glistening under the sun. The train whistled to a stop at the train station, and the group met up at the platform where a lot of people were wishing Serena a good day.

"Johnny, you got a bit of a . . ." James pointed at a hickey on his neck.

His best friend blushed, and pulled his scarf up higher, fixing his messy hair and clothes too. He had offered to carry Echo's bag and was lovey-dovey with her, talking about going on a date after they celebrated Hisaya getting his body back.

Seifer had come up to Renee's side earlier, arm around her waist as he looked around this place and marveled at how it had changed over the years. He wanted to carry Sirius so that he wouldn't get bumped on as they walked through the crowd, and the baby black dragon was excitedly sniffing and looking around. He drew a lot of attention his way, but the rumors of a friendly black dragon had already spread since Renee and Seifer first brought Sirius to this country, so there were some kids who came up wanting to pet him.

It was now early winter, though the first snowfall hadn't come yet. The weather was colder than ever, so Johnny huddled close to Echo for warmth as they made their way out of the station.

Seth was holding hands with Serena, while Sen had his arm around Minnie. The twins were planning to leave their things in Hisaya's house before going to the docks. And there he was, waiting for them, all suited up, but sticking out of the crowd: Hisaya in his doll-like body similar to the people over at the Storm Wall. He too garnered some looks from the crowd, but it seemed like the locals had gotten used to him. Beside him was a dark-skinned lady, who looked like a Jaharian, and between was a boy, clearly half-oriental, and half-desert folk in looks.

"Welcome to my hometown!" said Hisaya, when they came up to him. And he gave Serena and the girls a hug before shaking the hands of the men. "You all are looking better since we last met, like you've all got a huge weight off your shoulders."

After that long hug and giving James a kiss on his forehead, Renee happily chatted with brother about the simple things in life. Mica squirmed when James picked him up but when he started to pet him again, the ferret curled up and hummed until he fell asleep. The Pendragon medic brought Caritas closer to her side and made sure he didn't fall over during the ride.

As the train stopped and got off to the platform, Serena waved at the people with flair, wishing the crowd to have a good day too. While Renee pointed at Echo and said: "Um...Echo? Your hair...it's a mess and you got something on your chin-"

"Oh! Thank you, Ren." The fawn calmly fixed her messy braided hair and wiped her chin before clearing her throat with a humbled red tint in her tan cheeks. The winged teen narrowed her eyes for a second before widening in shock as she gaped. "Y-You...and Johnny?"

"...Shh. You saw nothing." With that, Renee snorted as she watched Echo try to hide her embarrassment of being found out.

When Johnny offered to take her bags, the fawn smiled and thanked him with a kiss on his cheek; being all lovey dovey as she talked with Johnny about going out in a date after celebrating. She nuzzled her beau randomly and stayed close to him so he can be warm.

Renee picked Sirius up and passed him to Seifer, smiling as her wings fluttered in her excitement. She haven't been to this port town before, so she took in as much detail as she could as they walked; not minding of the people who stared at them. The Pendragon medic was glad that most people were nice to Sirius and let the kids pet him, letting them talk with him. Same to the adults who were brave enough to come up to them. Of course Renee stayed wary and kept a close eye on her son and the people who came up to them.

Serena was holding Seth's hand as they left the station and when she saw Hisaya with his family, the blonde waved excitedly at them. Letting go of his hand to run up to Hisaya and tackle-hugged the golem with the suit. "Hi everyone!!! You're looking spiffy!, Hisa-chan. " She climbed down to hug his wife and son, pretty sure that they are used to her high energetic greetings.

Minnie leaned her head on Sen's shoulder as they walked out and blinked in surprise to see the golem but she still hugged him anyways. "...You're really tall..." She said after greeting the family. Renee and Echo hugged Hisaya as well while Chenglei shook his hand. Then he greeted his wife and son with a charming smile, spinning Camille flowers blooming around him with glitter. "Madam. Young sir."

"Tell me about it! I'm so glad that this war is done and over with!" Serena chirped then she perked up and wrapped her arms around Seth as she introduced him. "I know you met and everything but...Yea, Hisaya, this is my boyfriend, Seth. Seth, this is Hisaya, my friend." She didn't want them to feel awkward after so long, so she's trying to introduce them like they are meeting for the first time.

" Hisaya's Home, Coastal Town in Frankia "​

Seth was remarkably polite, and Hisaya too. He introduced his wife, Talisha to them, and his son, Czes. Talisha was very warm towards them and motherly, welcoming them as if they were her family. Sen, Seth, and Johnny greeted her Jaharian style, while James and Seifer awkwardly hugged her back when she gave them all a very big hug, thanking them for saving her husband. It seems she had been wanting to meet and thank them for a long time.

Two horse carriages awaited them; Kenren was in disguise as a porter and was shadowing the group close by. When they set off for Hisaya's home, he followed for a while, just to see where the house was, before going off to see the shipments for Bourgeaus. As usual he had told Chenglei of their plans this week, and the swordsman knew the prince's schedule for today: see the shipments in the morning, gather some news, and also meet up with the disguised oriental messenger who would be bringing news of the country today. Then it was lunch, and if no important thing comes up, he would visit Hisaya, and then he and Chenglei would spend the day doing anything his purring dragon wanted to do.

Czes seemed like an intelligent boy, looking wide-eyed at the ships docked at the harbor as they passed it on the way to Nine Elms Street, which faced the sea. There was still so much construction going on, and ever now and then they'd come upon groups of fishermen fishing on the edge of the shore, and kids looking for shells and crabs in the shallows.

The carriage stopped at last in front of a cozy looking home, with the second floor still under construction, but today there weren't any workers. An orange tabby cat was basking on the wall and meowed at Hisaya and his family when it saw them. It leaped down and rubbed between Czes legs, who pet it, before meowing at the rest of the group and then weaving in between their legs, purring.

"Come in, come in, everyone. Make yourselves at home." said Talisha and Hisaya. It was modest inside, the decoration mostly Jaharian. Sen and Seth felt quite at home, and checked out the rooms with the other guys. The guys were staying in one room, while the girls stayed in another. The group had planned to stay here a couple of days to help Hisaya adjust too when he gets his body back. Kenren unfortunately was only staying a day as he had work to do.

After they were settled, they were free to do as they liked. The wish-happening event was to occur right after lunch, and right now it was still eight in the morning. Johnny seemed to be very enamored today, and secretly asked Echo if she would like a round two; Seifer was telling Renee that it was getting impossible to stop Sirius from whining as the baby dragon looked at the sea. He wanted to swim; James was happy to stay indoors and check out Hisaya's books and research on ruins that his wife had kept; while Seth wanted to spend time with Serena, and Sen go with Minnie.

Chenglei had carried Kenren's and his luggage to Hisaya's home and complimented the family's lovely home as Minnie settled in, checking out the girls' room with the other girls. Then he told Hisaya and his wife that he needed to tend to his duties and left.

After that, he meet up with the Prince at the ship port, disguised as a raven black haired woman with layered kimonos that's perfect for cold weather. Once again, he allured the men around him, red-tinted lips smiling beautifully before teasingly hiding behind a black and gold fan as he flirted with a disguised Kenren. Of course he recognized him since he helped with the disguise the prince is wearing and so talked with him in the open.

"Hello handsome~" He greeted in a feminine voice, fanning himself. The prince can see pink eyeshadow and it complimented his blushing pink cheeks. "Mind if little ol' me hang around with you? I promise I won't bite...unless you ask me to." He purred that last part of the sentence with a flirtatious wink.

Meanwhile Echo was petting the cat when Johnny came up to her and she blushed red. The fawn looked around for a moment before grabbing his hand. She agreed to having round two, leading him out the door and announcing that they will be back for the wish making. They were going to have fun in another area that's private and away from everyone else.

Serena happily chatted with Hisaya and Talisha during the carriage ride and when she settled in, she asked Seth if he would like to see the market place that has a variety of stuff from the different allied countries. She knows what are the good spots for food and seeing things she believes Seth would enjoy like oriental weaponry or Jaharian items.

Minnie wanted to check out the market place too and lightly tugged Sen's sleeve hesitantly and looked at him with a shy smile. "Wanna see the market place?"

Renee was looking into a book from Hisaya's library when Seifer told her about Sirius who's wiggling around. So she shut the book and grabbed her son's attention. "My little and bright star, I know you want to swim in the ocean but the water is too cold. You can get sick." She said, her brows furrowed as she cupped Sirius' cheek. "Hmm...Hisaya-san? Is there a hot spring or a pool around here?" She asked the golem. Maybe they can enjoy swimming in warm water. "One that's family orientated?" She wanted to make sure there's one that allows families to swim together.

The porter wrapped a possessive arm around the raven-haired woman. "I want you to" he said, and they went on their merry way. Meanwhile, the twins happily agreed to go to the market, both asking Minnie and Serena if they could visit the docks first just to see if the shipment for their guild had arrived.

Back in Hisaya's home, he shook his head at Renee saying, "None, but can't Echo make a pool? And Meatballs or James' wisps heat it up? We have a lot of space in our backyard"

"Ooh! Magic! Are you going to do magic big sis?" said Czes excitedly.

Sirius whined, speaking in her head that he will not get sick because he is strong. He then turned his puppy eyes on Seifer who's having a hard time resisting. "L-listen to your mother." said the archer. Sirius made a grumpy face, then snorted, flooking like he was going to throw a tantrum.

"Oh~! Straight forward, aren't we?" The woman said with an affectionate smile on 'her' face as 'she' leaned 'her' head on his shoulder. "I like that in a man." With that, they went on their merry way.

Meanwhile Serena and Minnie nodded and said they'll come with them. Serena because she wanted to see what they were unloading and Minnie because she wanted to make sure their shipment came here smoothly.

In Hisaya's home, Renee answered Czes. "Depends if Echo and Johnny wants to make it." She turned over to the front door where Echo and Johnny were about to leave. "Would you guys mind making a pool and heating it up in Hisaya's backyard?" The fawn looked at the winged teen before looking at Johnny as she squeezed his hand. "Not at all. Do you want to help, love?"

Renee listened to Sirius' whine before smiling patiently at her family. "Now now sweetie." She walked up to them and cupped his fuzzy cheeks, rubbing with her thumbs. "I know you're strong but I don't want to chance you getting sick from swimming in cold water. We'll make a pool for you to swim in instead. It'll be warmer."

Johnny, who was wearing a very happy smile for some reason, looked at Echo, then nodded. "Alright, but can we make it quick?" he whispered to her. Meatballs, Soda and Butters poof-ed out of a cloud, the dog barked at Mica bowing on his giant front paws and wagging his tail as though he wanted to play. "Butters, me and Echo are going out, could you make sure Meatballs heats up the pool she and Soda are going to make?"

"Baa!"

"No, you can't come, it's . . . you know." he whispered, as Soda the water elemental arched its way towards the sea to the astonishment of passers-by, then came out of the cold waters, bigger and looking like a big slug. It had enough water to fill three water tanks.

"Baa." bleated Butters in hushed tones.

"I know, you know. Okay, you can catch up, we might go to that inn we saw earlier, unless Echo prefers the tavern, or . . . somewhere hidden in public that's enough, if she's more excited than I am."

"Baa."

Czes was ecstatic as he watched. He seemed to not be familiar with magic and cheered Echo and Johnny's summons on. Talisha watched from the kitchen window, while James came out, curious as to what was going on, and then just went back in to see if he could help Talisha in chopping up vegetables for lunch.

Seeing that he had an eager audience, Johnny decided to help Echo make the pool with theatrical flair, summoning Sorbet the ice golem and letting him and Soda do tricks with Meatballs and Echo's earth magic; James came back out to watch.

Sirius was enthralled at the performance and his tantrum didn't come. He gazed as his cheeks were being squished by his mother and the affection made him lick her nose and calm down. He liked it when his mother rubbed his cheeks, and Seifer encouraged his good behavior by praising him.

"I am going to go look for a tire." said the archer. "I'll make it bigger so that we can ride on it." he grinned.

When Echo saw how Johnny is going to add theatrical flair, she turned red from the attention they were getting as she created the large dirt pool walls. Then she joined in by using her earth magic, having the flowers bloom around it and braided with vines. The pool itself had so much space for everyone to join in and still have space to swim in.

Mica was happy to see his good friend again and as the warhound finished his performance, the ferret slinked up to him and rolled on the grassy ground, squeaking.

Renee giggled when Sirius licked her nose. She's relieved that Johnny performed and clapped her hands when it ending, excited to see more in the future-

...or hear in the future...she's glad to see his performance here before her sight is taken away.

"That's a wonderful idea, sweetheart. I'll keep an eye on Sirius while he swims in the pool." Renee said with a bright smile."That was a wonderful performance, you two!" She cheered at Johnny, Echo, and his summons. Her wings fluttered and flapped happily.

At the port, Kenren and Chenglei spent the first few hours checking the shipment for Bourgeaus. It seemed that the disguised oriental messenger missed his arranged zeppelin and was going to be late, probably arriving on the next airship late in the morning, so the two had time to gather news about the goings on of the land and how the economy was doing.

Now, Chenglei could pick any disguise he liked, and his current one was giving them an edge in gathering information, but Kenren couldn't help but be overcome with an irrational desire to punch the guys making moves on him, so it was hard for him to concentrate. Why can't they pretend to be a married couple and both of them wear a ring? Or they could bribe people, but then personal funds were kind of low because of all the payments they had to make for all the soldiers, plus all the medicine and the repairs. Still . . .

Kenren waited, seated at a tavern table as Chenglei chatted up some guys. He wasn't looking because this is a place where one is likely to get groped and if a guy groped Chenglei there was a really good chance Kenren was going to blow his cover and go over there and start a brawl.

They should seriously talk. Last time he failed to communicate that he didn't like Chenglei pretending to be a woman. Today he will tell him.

When he heard about the disguised messenger missing his zeppelin, Chenglei could only sigh quietly behind his fan before going to collect information about their home, the economy, and the lands with Kenren. Honestly he finds it really funny how these guys are very open to him for dressing up as a woman, but it also worried him for one single reason...

That reason is currently sitting to table, waiting while the black-dyed blonde talked with the group of men. Kenren had barely spoke to any of the men and women here, always looking away and the disguised blonde wondered why sometimes before continuing the chats. Sure, the prince is calm and tends to stay quiet but ... he always talked when they were in disguises. So he doesn't know why he's not talking now. Is it part of the persona of the porter? Chenglei doesn't know.

As he listened to the sailors and porters, Chenglei stretched his red painted lips into a charming smile as he tilted his head. "Ah~ I see. So the Orients are rebuilding as well? That's good. At least we aren't the only ones who are starting to rebuild."

"Yea. For now, the clans agreed to work together to support the masses or so they make it seem. I don't know if they are still warring with each other or not."

"Hmm...I see. Well men," Chenglei stood up from his seat gracefully, holding his fan in hand. "I best to meet with my friend-"

"Aww. But Ms. Lei, you could stay here with us, your friend could even join us!"

"No, no. I can't. I have a lot to do and this was my only break, as short as it is." Chenglei seemingly dodged an arm that one of the sailors wanted to wrap around his shoulders. "Have a good day, gentlemen." Opening his fan in a flair, the disguised man left the group and re-joined Kenren, wrapping his arms around him from behind.

"Hello handsome~" He purred in his ear. "I got the info about the Orients."
