"My name's Shay McAllister...I know it sounds girly but...my parents expected me to be a girl so..." Shay said nervously to Noctis, flattening his ears a little, though still allowing Noctis to pet them. @IkutoForever

"hmm...i think its a nice name...." *he heard Tia and blinked* "how can you like me? you dont know me...." *he looked at her sadly* "and i know....i hate it more than you do...but thats how royalty works...." *He guided Shay up the entrance to the school* "here we are...i think you might be my roommate in the dorm......" *he smiled at Shay*

Vincent laughed, a little bitterly. "No one's too young to die," he mused. He was a little taken aback at Cadence's show of emotion. It wasn't like they knew each other all that well, but she seemed to be personally affected by the news. It was a little flattering, he supposed. "That's very kind of you to offer," the young man replied. "But I'm afraid--wait, what do you mean by 'a special day'?"

"Oh...that's cool!" Shay said happily to Noctis, smiling back at him. He looked up at the school. "It's pretty big..." He said quietly to Noctis. @IkutoForever

And also, I can touch people without hurting them on rare holidays such as Christmas, Valentines and Birthday." She grins. "Do you think my ability and your intelligence in chemicals and science may create a cure?"

Shay chuckled a little. "Yeah...it is..." He said to Noctis, smiling at him. "Should we go in?" He asked him curiously. @IkutoForever

Vincent considered Cadence's suggestion, becoming more excited as he did so. "It...it's possible," he said, running through multiple abilities. It would depend on what exactly was the problem with his physiology, but he couldn't think of a reason why he shouldn't give it a shot. "Will trying this hurt you in any way?" he asked the young woman, not wanting her to sacrifice anything of herself for him.

*Noctis then gave her the most charming smile ever* "then i will give you my word to try and cancel the betrothal" *He waved to her and then went into the dorm with Shay* "You can have as much space as you need....im not picky"

Vincent nodded slowly, a smile gradually creeping onto his face. "Alright, this could work," he said, trying to keep from getting his hopes up. "But I'll have to move fast if I want to figure something out by tomorrow. Maybe some sedatives mixed in with a..." The young man trailed off, thinking of possible formulas and solutions. He suddenly stopped and embraced Cadence in a tight hug. "Thank you," he said sincerely.

Head mistress goes and tends the dorms checking if everything is okay. Notices Shay. "Why hello young man. Is everything alright? I am Miss Ravenwood."

"Y...Yes m'am..." Shay said shyly to Miss Ravenwood. He stopped unpacking and looked up at her. @MissJessiRaven

Vincent quickly jumped back and chuckled sheepishly. "I, uh, I guess I forgot," he admitted. "Anyway, I should get to work." The young man began to set up chemical tests with a renewed sense of purpose. "I don't suppose you know exactly how your healing power works," he called over his shoulder as he put on some latex gloves.
