Midnight Island [Inactive]

Darian's smile dimmed somewhat when the male human approached Xavier. "It is unfortunate that you chose this route. I had hoped to avoid bloodshed, although we still may, depending on this little girl's decision. However, I would have you know that should the choice be made to end Xavier's life, I will have to intercede. You'll find that I far outclass the vampire you wounded yesterday. In that case, the result of our little game here will not be to your liking." Suddenly, his smile widened again. This time, however, his fangs were in plain view, and his eyes glowed an iridescent red, sparkling in different shades of crimson in the beach's sunlight. His very appearance was differen than the other vampires. Unlike Felix, he was not as visibly muscled. Nevertheless, his thinner visage gave off a much more dangerous, malicious aura, and his attire was more suited to that of a nobleman. Darian would not accept Xavier's death, at least not at this particular junction in time.

Felix looked out the window of his hut, staring down at the humans and vampires on the beach, his red eyes light up in excitement, slipping out of his small house he jogged to the edge of the beach to watch.

Sariel moved towards Frank as a second vampire appeared, she listened, contemplating what he had said, then turned back to Frank as he moved away, sucking in a breath as she watched him stick the knife to the other mans throat. Even if this man had brought harm to her, she had never witnessed a murder and she wondered if she could handle it. She felt her heart skip a beat as Frank left Xaviers life in her hands, her gaze dropping to the ground, with out a word or a glance to anyone around her. After a few moments of silence she moved towards the two. Taking the knife from Frank's hands,

"I can't let you have this resting on your conscious. I will kill him, before he harms any more of us." She muttered bitterly, her heart beating hard in her chest, she was sure everyone else could hear it. A few tears arose in her already glossy eyes, spilling out over the corners as she met Xaviers gaze,

"I can't forgive you, Xavier." She hissed, though her eyes betrayed her brave posture.

Felix let out a soft growl when a knife was placed on Xaviers throat, he wasn't fond of the younger vampire, but he couldn't let his race die off so easily, moving with only the speed a vampire could he was at Sariel's side in a second, knocking her onto the side, him on top, pinning her there.

"I'm sorry, but you can't kill him, I wont let you." He purred peering down at her with his blood red eyes, tempted to sink his teeth into her as her scent washed over him. He took the knife and ripped it from her hand, chucking it into the ocean.

"If you want to fight us, humans. Lets make it fair." He growled, still holding Sariel down beneath him, looking over his broad shoulder at Frank lips pulled back in a snarl.

Frank saw that 'Felix' tackle Sariel and throw his other knife into the sea. Frank snarled at him,

"Okay then, fair it is!" Frank pulled his leg back and kicked Felix in the stomach with all his might, Frank was trained to kill, time to put it into practice.

Xavier froze when Frank left his life in the girl's hands, but saw her fear and unease and it made him feel slightly better. Felix knocking Sariel down gave him a chance to step back from the others, glad his personal space was back. When Frank kicked Felix, Xavier scowled and swiftly knocked the human boy's legs out from under him and pinned him to the sand. "Come on Felix, let's go," he yelled at the older vampire, and stood up, turning to go off into the forest. He paused though, and faced Sariel. "Just so you're aware, I would never expect to be forgiven," he stated simply, then darted off into the woods, skillfully climbing high into a tree where the humans couldn't get to him.

Darian's eyes returned to normal, and a brief expression of surprise passed over his face before disappearing. 'Well, well. I never thought that Felix would behave like that. Perhaps I misjudged him... I supposed I should pay more attention to how these events develop.' he thought with an inward grin. It had been centuries since he'd had something fun to do. "It seems my intervention was not required. How lucky for you." he drawled. "You won't be getting to them anytime soon, but seeing as how I have not wronged you in any fashion, other than perhaps my very existence, I will be taking my leave. Adieu, mes amis. I'm sure I'll be seeing you again very soon." With that, he turned and began to slowly walk back to the forest. He was in no hurry. After all, he had no pressing matters to attend to, and he feared nothing from those primitive mortals.

Frank found himself on his back, his yell was filled with rage, a yell that would make the toughest man piss himself, He jumped to his Feet.

"GET BACK HERE!" He yelled. He sprinted after Xavier, finding himself at the stump of a tree. "You coward!" Frank screamed. He began to slowly climb the tree, it was time consuming, but he'd have this man's head, as Sariel wanted, then he could turn his attention back to Felix. Frank cursed and swore at Xavier, calling him things that would get his mouth washed out with soap a thousand times over.

Sariel felt the air get knocked out of her as she hit the ground, finding a familiar face above her, ripping the knife from her hands. She felt a gust of wind as Frank's leg whoosh past her and hit Felix squarely in the gut, making even her wince, she scrambled out from under him, panting as she reached Franks side.

Felix gasped in pain as he felt the kick full force, right in the stomach, causing him to throw up blood, pushing himself to his feet he staggered slightly, wiping blood from his mouth with his hand. His gaze shifted to Xavier as the boy helped him, telling him to follow, but Felix wasn't finished here. Standing in front of this handsome, strong, freaking annoying man, he wasn't just about to run like Cinderella. With a growl he waited for Frank to return, grabbing Sariel by the hair, he held her against him.

Darian paused. It seemed Felix was staying to hold the girl hostage. What's more, the human seemed to have actually hurt him. 'Hmm... a trained hunter. It has been a while since I've met one of those. He poses no threat, but I suppose aiding Felix wouldn't be a terrible waste of time. After all, I can't afford to lose one of the older vampires on this island. No, no, no. That simply won't do.' he mused as he walked back to stand next to Felix. "So... Felix, my boy... long time no see, yeah?" he asked in an intentionally awkward and overly familiar fashion. 'Might as well amuse myself somehow.' he thought wryly.

Xavier looked down at Frank as the boy slowly climbed the tree. It was funny, and made more so as every curse word Xavier knew and lots he didn't flowed from Frank's mouth. Gently running a hand across his neck, he felt the small area where the blade had broke his skin healing. Well, he wasn't in any danger at the moment, and swung his legs as he waited for Frank to reach his branch. When the boy was two below him, Xavier stood and jumped carefully into the next tree over, laying down on a branch and looking at Frank with a bored expression. "Poor human. Should have stayed on the beach." He smiled, looking like a child who knew a secret or some inside joke. "You realize that we're the only ones who left?"

Sariel shrieked at her hair was yanked upwards, elbowing Felix in the gut but it probably felt like nothing after the kick Frank had given him. She felt so helpless,

"Let me go!" She growled, not really knowing what else to do, with out a weapon, there was no way she could even hurt him slightly.

Felix's lips tugged up into a smirk as Sariel shrieked, grunting slightly as her elbow hit him on the stomach, which only made where The male hit him hurt worse. He pulled up on her hair harder, then shoved her towards Darian,

"Here, you must be hungry." He mused gazing over at the older vampire.

"Yeah, it has been a while, hasn't it. What a funny way to become reunited." He purred in amusement, his blood red eyes glinting.

Frank looked as Xavier lounged in the next tree over, he was not happy,

"YOU M*****F***IN PIECE OF S**T I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Frank didn't bother climbing down, he simply pulled out his belt buckle, revealing a two and a half inch blade concealed within. Frank found a sturdy branch, got a running start, and yelling all the way, jumped after Xavier, his lust to kill stronger than ever.

Darian glanced over at Felix and took the offered meal. "This one looks like quite the bundle of joy." he commented on the girl Felix gave him. "However, regretfully, I'll have to pass up this chance for feeding. I'm afraid that my nourishment requirements are somewhat... greater than yours. I would most assuredly sap her dry of every drop of blood in her system, perhaps even suck out some of that bone marrow. No, I wouldn't want to anger our male human friend any more. I'd rather he not have an aneurysm. Don't worry, I'll hunt them down once you lot are done farming them." He grinned his pearly white canines at Felix. "Regardless, we could still have our fun with her and save our dear friend Xavier." Suddenly, he jerked the girl's head so that her neck was fully exposed to the air and sun of the beach. Then, in a single practiced motion, he pierced her neck and withdrew his fangs thereafter. "Surely the young boy won't let her bleed to death, would he?" he asked Felix in an amused voice. Truly, this was the most fun he'd had in countless decades.

Xavier sighed and dropped to a lower branch just as Frank jumped. "You really are a hard head," he commented, swinging himself up into the tree above Frank and looking at the human. "If you really are this angry, and this driven to kill us, why not go get a bigger weapon or something that might actually work on a vampire?" Dropping down, he smirked and stood on the opposite side of the tree trunk from Frank. "Or is it that you really don't want to kill us?" He teased lightly, knowing it was a false assumption and just wanting to get the boy more riled up. Leaping down to the ground, Xavier smiled up and waved at Frank, calling "Catch me if you can!" before running at a pace where Frank would be able to keep up and follow him to the beach. Felix hadn't followed them earlier, and he was probably more willing to fight than Xavier.

Felix watched with amusement, before turning his gaze towards the two up in the tree,

"Hmmm, I don't know what goes through that humans head, climbing trees, to catch a vampire." A soft chuckle escaped his lips.

Sariel's neck stung where he had nipped her, feeling the warm blood trickle from the bite marks. She managed to scramble away from Darian putting a hand over her neck, it came back bloody. beginning to feel a bit light headed.

Felix stiffened,

"You're going to waist her blood like that?" he seemed shocked his fangs throbbing to get a taste as the liquid came into sight, the scent reaching his nose making his throat tighten. Instinctively he moved towards her grabbing her wrist, making sure she didn't leave.

Frank chase Xavier around the tree becoming more and more enraged as it went on. When Xavier dropped to the bottom, Frank descended as fast as possible, he chased after Xavier, only slightly gaining on him. He swore more and more as this event went on. If it came right down to it, he'd tear Xavier's head off with his bare hands.

Xavier saw that Frank was behind him and ran out onto the beach, stopping only after he was behind Darian, Felix, and Sareil. Breathing in, he caught his breath and glanced down, seeing blood leaking from the girl's neck. He bit his lip, calming his instincts down, then sighed. "You guys probably shouldn't have done that," Xavier mused, looking at the already enraged human boy that wanted to kill them. "Oh well. What's one more log to the fire?"

Darian chuckled lightly at Felix's response. "I can see that you thirst for blood. As I said, with my age, my feeding needs are a bit different from yours. I have developed enought control to not salivate at the sight of blood." he quipped. "In fact, I can go without blood for long periods of time. However, when it comes time to feed for me... let me just say that the reason I came to this island is because last century, I drained every human's body of blood on another island in a single night." Just then, he noticed Xavier's arrival. In response, his smile turned murderous and sadistic, even for a vampire. "After all these years, I find that it is more enjoyable if you... play with your food before you consume it." Gazing at the human girl, he continued, "And, oh, how I will savor this one when the time comes..." His eyes glinted dangerously in the sun. "For now, you may do as you wish, Felix, Xavier."

Frank sprinted at an ungodly speed for a human, especially after he saw the blood, Frank yelled again, it was enough to scare himself.

"You son of a b*tch!" He cried. He reached the group and dove over Felix and Sariel. He tackled Xavier, and began to go about strangling him, no one would stop him now.

Darian gazed lazily down at the boy on top of Xavier as if he were a mere cockroach. "Are you a fool, boy? That is a vampire you are attempting to asphyxiate. Our kind has no need for oxygen, thus rendering your current actions worthless." Tutting lightly, he casually put the toe of his shoe under the boy and flicked. It didn't surprise the vampires when the boy went flying into the sand a good 10 meters away. After all, Darian's freakish strength, even for vampires, was a well-known fact amongs the vampiric inhabitants of the island. 'Now, to teach that human what it means to fight a vampire.' he thought mirthlessly.

Felix made a 'ch' sound with his mouth in amusement, gazing from Xavier to Darian, before leaning in he touched his lips to Sariels soft skin pausing briefly as Frank ran past, his goal set on Xavier, and then rolled his broad shoulders in a shrug. Wrapping his strong arms around the struggling girls waist he licks the blood off her neck, closing his eyes in satisfaction, long dark eye lashes caressing his pale cheek. He didn't bring out his fangs, or draw any more blood, just enjoying what was already prepared for him. He was a bit stunned when Sariel punched him in the face, and he loosed his grip for just a second.

Sariel took advantage of that and struggled free, with a final glance at Frank and the vampires she took off towards the forest her hand clasping her neck. Her breath came out in shaky gasped, head spinning, heart racing. Trying not to think about what just happened, she had seen Felix's house before, now she just had to stumble across it again. Sariel tripped once, but caught herself before she hit the ground, looking up at the tree almost ran into she saw it, the hut. Cautiously she started up the tree, pulling herself into the house.

Surprisingly Felix did not go after Sariel, he watched her run off licking his lips, turning his gaze towards Darian and Xavier, he hoped one of them would chase her down, if they still felt the need to have her in their clutches, he had to admit though, she was very cute, how fragile, yet strong she was at the same time. Oh the fun he could have.

Franks stood, his lust for blood had gone too long un-sated,

"One vampire is as good as another." Frank ran his tongue over his teeth and lips, he'd get his blood, a lesson taken from them would do it. Frank charged the eldest vampire, maw wide open, he would rip his throat out, with his teeth.

Darian prepared himself as the boy charged him, as if he was serious. Then, at the last moment, he simply sidestepped the human with a slight laugh. 'As if a mere human would be able to catch a vampire of my pedigree. He is millenia too early for that. And did he really thing those weak, mortal mandibles would have a chance of piercing my skin. They'd shatter like glass on concrete.' However, then he noticed girl run away. 'So precious. Look at her stumble and fumble her way to where she thinks she will be safe. But, no one can ever be safe from the perfect predator.' With a cursory glance at Xavier and Felix, as if to command them to take care of the boy, he lost interest in the fight and seemingly disappeared from the beach. In reality, he'd simply chased after the girl. Darian stalked her from the treetops, making sure to snap a tree branch here and there, disturb some birds so they'd fly in different directions, even scare some animals into squealing in fear. All this to have a little fun with the amusing meal he saw before his eyes.

Frank watched Darian run, he turned his attention to the younger two now. His eyes were wild, his teeth bared like an animal, he sized them up, looking for his prey, he lunged at Xavier, his teeth aimed directly for his neck.

Xavier understood the look he got from Darain, and stood up, making a big production of him wiping the sand off his jeans. Crossing his arms over his chest, he watched Frank charge at him. "You're so annoying. Why'd you have to get my jeans all sandy?" He huffed, then rushed forward and knocked Franks legs out from under him again and kicking sand on him. "There, even." Xavier smirked, enjoying teasing the boy.

Frank landed on his face, he didn't care, he felt no pain. He clamped onto Xavier's leg, and bit down, HARD. He had lost himself, he had become more of an animal than they. He had no plan, no course of action, the military academy student was level only with the wolf on the hunt.
