Midnight Island [Inactive]

Sariel scrambled away as Darian let go of her, but was not prepared for what he was about to do, not to her, but to Frank. She bit down hard trying to contain a scream as he grabbed Frank, covering her ears and shutting her eyes tight at the sound of bones snapping. She couldn't tell right away that it was over, until she felt the vampires hand on her neck and then her cheek. Opening her eyes, gazing meeting his blood red oculars unable to look away. Her heart almost stopped at the sight of him, chest tightening in horror as she fought to breath. Sariel could scarcely hear what he was saying, but didn't wait to get to Frank's side as soon as he'd left.

"Frank?" She cried moving towards him, his arm at an unnatural angle, blood dripping off of him, she wondered if he was dead, the thought made her sick, running a hand through his hair, tears streaming down her face.

"Hang on okay? I'm here." Looking around frantically before bending down to pop his arm back into place, she learned how to do that a while back, at the orphanage and then moved to do the same to the other. She then pulled him into a seat position and hauled his limp body onto her back, his arms over her shoulders. She struggled to stand up, he was so much bigger than her, and she could barely stand herself, she managed to walk a few paces, his legs dragging behind her before she collapsed, looking over her shoulder at him, sweat dripping from her forehead.
Felix's legs buckled under him still in quite a bit of pain, he lay on the forest floor, the damp grass moistened his pale white skin. He wondered how it went with the three still remaining on the beach, he wondered if Darian had given up the whole calm act and drank some of Sariels blood, he wondered if the half breed had given up yet. He wondered about many things, trying to get his mind off the pain.

The wind blew right into the forest, swirling around a certain tree, kicking up a hail of leaves. When it died down, there stood Darian, glancing down at Felix somewhat pityingly. "Oh, buck up, Felix. That hybrid didn't suck that much out of you. And you needn't worry about him for the time being." At that thought, Felix began to impatiently pace around the forest clearing where Felix lay. "You should have been there, my friend. They couldn't have heard it with their dull senses, but you could have. The staccato crunch of his legs and ribs when I broke them, the elastic ripping of his tendons and ligaments as I shattered his kneecaps, the slight whoosh of air as I punctured his lung, the quiet gurgle of blood as it began to pour into the lung, the delightful "pop" of his arms being ripped from their sockets... and oh, that dead look in his eyes. It was simply marvelous." he gushed, in an almost sadistic manner. Suddenly, his calm and cool demeanor was back. "The boy will heal due to his blood, but he is no match for me. More important is that girl. She is mine, you see, bearing my mark. No other may touch her, including you, is that understood? I will tolerate no deviation from my command, yes?" he asked Felix seriously, daring him to disobey.

Frank awoke at a sharp jostle to his body, he first noted he was on Sariel, then he registered the pain, he cried out in pain, it was so intense and so wide-spread he couldn't stop screaming. Frank composed himself.

"P-put me down." Frank mumbled. He was back to normal, eyes blue, thoughts clear, blood lust gone. After he was on the ground, he reached for Sariel's face. "I'm so sorry, I am not your noble warrior after all. Just a freak of nature, same as them." His shame made it's self apparent. He has drank blood, a sin against humanity. "Please forgive me." A tear formed in his eye. "You should go, leave me here. A monster like me deserves no kindness. Especially that of an angel." Frank had said it, he was a monster, worse than them. He looked away from her. He was tempted to end his own life, but he couldn't do it for himself, not in this state, and he couldn't ask her. "Now go, leave this foul being. I am unworthy of your company."

Felix growled up at Darian, not moving from his spot on the ground, it was quite comfortable, with a grunt of amusement he watched the older vampire filled with renewed energy.

"Had fun didn't you?" he mused before his lips tugged downward in a frown,

"Since when did we start claiming humans, we all have to survive," he mumbled, his voice slightly harsh. Not accepting nor refusing to follow Darian's rules.

Sariel felt hot tears form in her eyes and she did her best not to cry, but they ended up spilling over, trailing down her blood stained cheeks. All she could do was weakly shake her head,

"I won't-can't" She muttered, her voice hoarse, leaning down she pressed her lips against his, softly at first before she deepened it. Pulling back after a heart beat. Her own arm was dislocated but she couldn't bring herself to pop it back in place.

"I'll stay with you... but only because I can't get my legs to work too well." She mumbled, trying to joke a bit, not sure why she was being sarcastic or why she kissed him at a time like this, but pushed that in the back of her mind, wincing as she laid down beside him in the sand, crying out in pain as she tried to move her arm. Please... God... help us. She had never been the religious type, but she was desperate.

Darian's gaze turned ice cold for a moment as he spoke. "It is true, we survive on human blood. But... her blood is different. It tempts me so... it calls in a way that hasn't happened for centuries. For that reason, she is mine. Take your pick of any of the others, I'm sure they can more than satisfy your thirst." As quickly as the cold look had come, it was gone, replaced by Darian's bored look, albeit with a slight twinkle in his eyes due to anticipation of events to come. "You are in luck, my friend. Perhaps it is too faint for your senses, but I can just feel the imminent arrival of some newcomers. You shall have your feast in the end, Felix, you just wait and see." He smiled at Felix with a fanged grin. "It is time, I think, to get some of our other brethren involved, don't you? Can't let them starve, now can we?"

Frank laid next to Sariel, he thought about if they could even have a future, her the beautiful angel, him the disgusting... thing. His hopes weren't high. He held her hand in his, and whispered in her ear,

"Thank you." He looked up and just stared at the sky. He felt better already, but he didn't like it, just another similarity to them, he didn't want to have anything more in similar with those freaks. "Listen, that man, he marked you, I swear, I'll get it off if it kills me. You are the most important person in the world to me, I won't stop until you are safe again. I may not be noble, but I'll do everything I can to be your warrior, your protector, your sword and your shield. That creature... I'll find a way to kill him, to get you off this island. Then you can be happy." He unwittingly said you, not us or we, he did not intend to get off this island, it was the place for monsters like him.

Sariel didn't look at him as he spoke, body shaking every now and then, as if she were in shock, but she felt calm, well at least her breathing at slowed. She coughed exhaling afterward, her hair had been pulled out of the ponytail and now lay tangled around her face. Slowly she turned her head to watch him as he spoke, he seemed so sure of himself, she wanted to believe him, with all her heart she did. But she couldn't bare the thought of him going up against Darian again. Her gaze narrowed, eyebrows furrowed, shaking her head once.

"No Frank, you can't. I don't want you having to go up against Darian, you aren't a monster like they are." She muttered her voice cold, a shiver errupting throughout her small frame at the thought of the older vampires teeth against her neck.

"If you get hurt, I would only blame myself, I don't want to loose you!" She protested, her voice had shifted from firm to pleading, of course she believed that Frank would put of a good fight. But against Darian? No. He couldn't.

"Frank I know it's selfish of me but, I don't want you to go," Turning her hazel eyes away she peered up at the sky, the dim star light reflecting off her eyes. She clenched her teeth together prepared for Frank to scold her for being so ignorant, but she had to tell him. He'd have to understand it was suicide, she'd rather let Darian keep her to toy with, then watch Frank get hurt again. Even though in the back of her mind, she was terrified of the vampire, the way he talked to her, speaking of what he could do, the fun he would have, made her feel sick to her stomach.

Frank looked at her, listened to her words. He decided,

"Okay. I'll stay with you, but if he come within a mile of you, I'll kill the son of a b*tch." Frank looked at her eyes, he loved her, he didn't even know why, he just did. As much as it pained him to do so, he rolled on his side and kissed her. " I swear, I'll never let him hurt you again."

Sariel was a bit surprised by the way he answered, she was sure he'd force her to understand that he was going out, to kick all the vampires asses, all by himself, and it didn't matter if she decided to tag along with him. She turned her head just in time to get kissed. She was pleasantly surprised by that too, pushing herself painfully into a seated position she pursed her pale pink lips,

"I believe you, Thank you, for everything." She said softly,

"You can rest your eyes, I'll keep an eye out, but I'm almost certain they won't come back for now."

Frank managed a smile,

"It's my pleasure." He raised his hand to her face, and wiped the remnants of a tear from her eye. "I'll make sure you never have to cry again." He said, almost to himself. He rested his body and closed his eyes. Without changing that, he told her, "If you see trouble, tell me, I'll take care of it." Frank let himself fall asleep.

Sariel looked over her shoulder at frank, watching him with her wide hazel eyes, a small smile playing on her lips. Getting to her feet, wincing as she pulled off her blood soaked clothes striping down to a bra and under wear, walking shakily into the water, doing her best to wash the blood off of her beaten and battered body. She inhaled sharply the salty water stinging her open wounds as she painfully washed herself off. She glanced back at frank making sure he was okay before she proceeded to wash her skin clean. In the distance she could Hear the chirp of crickets and the soft rustling sound as the wind whispered through the trees. For now the island was peaceful, and that's what made her feel uneasy. The thought of the vampires watching them like prey sent a shiver down her spine. Grabbing her clothes she began to wash the blood and dirt off of them as well. Sariel did her best to get everything as clean as she could getting out of the water she laid the clothes out on a rock to dry. Looking over at frank, she noticed how much worse his clothes were than hers. Biting her lower lip softly she walked up to him taking hold of the bottom corner of his shirt, gently pulling it up over his head. Setting that to the side her eyes skimmed over his bare upper body. Gently she took off his shoes and then she turned to his jeans, undoing his belt she carefully slid them off. Her heart beat quickening a bit hoping he'd be okay with this, with a last glance at him and a small smile she made her way back to the water.

Clara got up once more. She decided she would walk around a bit. She tried getting dressed, but made it simple. She left the cabin and sat at the front steps. She put her head into her hands. Clara looked down at her leg, noticing a small cut. It looked like it was bleeding, bit not enough to actually drip down.

"I must have scratched myself..." she thought as she pulled out a small cloth from her pocket and wiped it away. She looked to the sky, hoping the air that brushed against her face would make her feel better.

Frank opened his eyes, he did a body check, it was sore, very sore, but it didn't feel broken anymore. He started to get up, when he noticed he was in his underwear. Frank looked around and saw Sariel down at the shore. He tried to take a step towards her, but fell, causing an excruciating amount of pain. He got up again and slowly walked towards her. He got over to her, noticing she was washing his clothes, he knelt next to her,

"Here, let me help."Frank grabbed his shirt and began to wash it off, it was covered in a mix of blood and sand, he thought about himself, realising he was worse than the shirt. He washed himself off, there was either blood, sand, or both in every nook and cranny on his body. He washed the blood from his face, Felix's blood. After he finished, he went back to the clothes. Frank turned to Sariel, "Are you Okay? I should have asked earlier, but I was a bit caught up in myself." Frank looked her, he may heal at an astonishing rate, but she didn't.

Did Nelson and Drake fall into comas or something?))

((no))

Drake got up and notest he was underwater he quickly swim to the surface he looked around he saw that he was in some kind of Lake and then he shouted"where am I!" he swim towards the shore and got out of the water his shirt pants and jacket dripping wet he looked around again and saw his bag in a log he grab it up and un zip it and got his spare machete and started to wander the woods trying to get back to the group

Sariel jumped slightly at the sight of him, still on edge after all that had taken place,

"You're walking!" She exclaimed in disbelief her wide eyes staring into his before they cascaded down to his near to being naked body and quickly looked away, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks as she flushed, offering him his pants to clean will she worked on his shirt.

"I just thought, they looked dirty." She mumbled shyly working on scrubbing off a few blood stains from his shirt, wondering if he was weirded out by her taking his clothes off. She blushed harder realizing she was only in a bra and underwear herself. Suddenly feeling very, small and vulnerable beside him.

"I'm okay," She mumbled, slowly turning her gaze to meet his once more, after she felt like her cheeks weren't as embarrassingly red. She shifted, grimacing at the sharp pain in her arm,

"Actually, Frank, my arm is dislocated and I'm pretty sure broken... I can't pop it back into place, Can you please?" She asked, her voice remained calm but her expression on her face conveyed her level of pain, and embarrassment.

Frank smiled, she was blushing quite intensely,

"Thank you, they need that wash pretty bad."He said, pointing to his clothes. Her listened about her wounds. "Okay, now this is going to hurt, a lot." Frank wrapped himself around Sariel, right arm around her chest, placing pressure on her left shoulder with his right hand, lifting her arm with his left arm, until finally it popped back into place. "There, that wasn't so bad." He smiled at her. For all she'd been through, she was still very pretty.

Sariel inhaled sharply as he prepared to pop her arm back in place, her heart pounding quite intensely as he placed a hand near her chest she felt him grasp her broken arm and grimaced letting out a cry of pain as he returned her arm to it's rightful place. Her breathing heavy as she doubled over, shaking slightly. Taking a few moments to get herself together she peered up at him,

"Thanks, It feels better now." Sariel assured him, the wind laced through her quickly drying hair, she ran a hand through it, pushing back a few whispy strands that framed her face. He still had his arm about her and she could feel her soft skin brush his, sending a warm sensation through her body,

"Felix and Xavier sure won't be attacking you for awhile, you really showed them." She let a soft laugh spill from her lips, reaching up a wet hand to his cheek running her finger along a cut he had there, cleaning the blood off, her eyes studying the spot as she ran her thumb along it, it didn't look too bad now.

Frank smiled at her,

"Of course, what kind of man would not help such a fine young lady?" He embraced her more tightly." They'd better not come round here." When she wiped the blood from his face, he stopped her head with his hand, and kissed her. He held her there for a few seconds. He finally released her to say "I think I love you Sariel." He said, plainly enough, but backed by emotion.

Sariel smiled as he complemented her about to say something but was stopped when his lips touched hers, eyes widening, her long eyelashes fluttered against his cheek, skin tingling under his touch. After he pulled back she peered up into his icy blue eyes,

"I think I love you too." She mumbled reaching back up she pressed her lips to his, hands resting on his bare chest, pressing down a bit harder she deepened the kiss her eyes blinking closed.

Clara stood from her spot and began to walk through the forest. She didnt know why she did,but she didnt care. She kept walking until she reached a pond. She sat at the edge and splashed some water on her face. "I should probably start looking for the others." She said to herself.
