AngelSariel
The Apple Queen
Sariel scrambled away as Darian let go of her, but was not prepared for what he was about to do, not to her, but to Frank. She bit down hard trying to contain a scream as he grabbed Frank, covering her ears and shutting her eyes tight at the sound of bones snapping. She couldn't tell right away that it was over, until she felt the vampires hand on her neck and then her cheek. Opening her eyes, gazing meeting his blood red oculars unable to look away. Her heart almost stopped at the sight of him, chest tightening in horror as she fought to breath. Sariel could scarcely hear what he was saying, but didn't wait to get to Frank's side as soon as he'd left.
"Frank?" She cried moving towards him, his arm at an unnatural angle, blood dripping off of him, she wondered if he was dead, the thought made her sick, running a hand through his hair, tears streaming down her face.
"Hang on okay? I'm here." Looking around frantically before bending down to pop his arm back into place, she learned how to do that a while back, at the orphanage and then moved to do the same to the other. She then pulled him into a seat position and hauled his limp body onto her back, his arms over her shoulders. She struggled to stand up, he was so much bigger than her, and she could barely stand herself, she managed to walk a few paces, his legs dragging behind her before she collapsed, looking over her shoulder at him, sweat dripping from her forehead.
Felix's legs buckled under him still in quite a bit of pain, he lay on the forest floor, the damp grass moistened his pale white skin. He wondered how it went with the three still remaining on the beach, he wondered if Darian had given up the whole calm act and drank some of Sariels blood, he wondered if the half breed had given up yet. He wondered about many things, trying to get his mind off the pain.
