Mecha RP: Legend of M

Ok, so basically my plan is that the Rebel machines are going to attack the base and draw fire while the rest of the rebels take control of th ship.


@Tierax If you want to make a league Crew member for their ship you could introduce them now.
 
Would love to, but I normally run multiple characters so with this one I'll just devote all my time to the one and make sure he is as fun for all of us as possible.


Thank you though for thinking of ways to get me active sooner, but I really don't mind waiting, everyone here has such good ideas and I want to do my part to make this an RP that everyone remembers for a log time you know?

Well, give her some more time and if she just doesn't respond by tonight just try to write around her. Like have your A.I. Warm you about a monster and you can use that as an excuse to break off or something.

It's no problem. You weren't gone too long and it gave us some time to start planning for the future anyway. Oh, this next post of yours is at the very end of the battle so consider whatever Kaiju you might kill to be the last one and we'll rap this up and start braking away to our respective corners.

Just want to reiterate for anyone who may have missed it the first time, but there is an open casting call for Ship Captains and Crew members. We don't have to fill every seat on every ship but it'll help flesh things out and might make any battles involving the ships themselves carry just a little bit more weight.


Also concerning the creation of characters, I've noticed a lot of our characters tend to lean towards the "stern professional" archetype. While this isn't a bad thing and I'm certainly not going to make anyone change anything based on this it might be worth taking into account for future reference. It might make character interactions a bit more interesting if we have just a few wierdos thrown into the bunch, but I leave it all up to your discretion on that.


Anyway, both @Lunartic and @OGTomahawk have responded to their respective posts so me and @AceOfSpades0210 need to respond. The fight is now officially over, so we should start shifting towards our respective sides and break away to our bases to get ready for the next fight as well as some out of combat character interaction and the like.
 
Don't worry, Berlioz is going to crack jokes while the world ends, so long as it doesn't involve anyone he takes a liking to dying.

Now that I've been accepted, where should I jump in? Presumably it'll be somewhere in or near the Rebel base, so should I wait till everyone's split off from where they are now?

Yeah. If it's alright, just give us a few seconds and I'll try to hurry the rebels back to base and we can introduce you there.

Right now I'm a bit upset that everyone has these, human like mechs, and mine's a military hand-me-down...I might change it if I find one that is better than it, because mine won't stand a chance if someone grabs it.

Mines in the same boat there, but I think having us non-humanoid mechs in the mix gives us nice variety, for example in hoping to get a chance to basically use mine as a tank and follow around the infantry while everyone else deals with 'hero' style 1v1 fights
