Lance smiled at the small man awkwardly, "That's one way of putting it... I don't feel very comfortable using my mouth, so I talk like this. I hope that's okay." He thanked the man for his time and the mask before deciding he needed sleep. He really wanted to see Akira again, but knew he'd be in classes all day, so Lance thought a good way to pass the time would be to take a long nap. He normally hated taking naps this long, but he trusted the nurse to know what she was doing.

The nurse had just finished filing her updated records when she heard Michelle call out. She promptly stepped over to her and her concerned friend to check on her. She immediately went for her medical cabinet and made Michelle a specialized trail mix of medication: Antibiotics and a pain reliever for the probable infection and the pain, then the cold medicine with some honey sweetened tea as a chaser. She offered the pills first, informing her of it's purpose and offering her a cup of water to take it with. She watched her take them both, then helped her take the medicine. She sat patiently as Michelle coughed in disgust before offering the honeyed herbal tea she thought Michelle would like. From the sound of her throat she had developed a sore throat as well, and the honeyed tea would help soothe her. She stepped away to make warm salt water and brought both that and a bowl for her to spit it out in. "I want you to gurgle this for 10 seconds, then spit it out in the bowl. It'll help keep the sore in your throat clean and heal faster, trust me." It wasn't something she was taught in her medical classes, but rather was an old home remedy her mother had made her do as a child whenever she got sick.

Michelle was coughing as she took the medicine that she hated but her mums medicine was much worse" hehe your medicane has a better taste than mums she makes her own medicine trust me you don't want to trh it" she say happily she just looked at the salt and the bowl she just sighed as she took the salted water she just guggled the water for water for ten seconds as she was instructed she just spit it out after the 10 seconds she just looked at her" why do i have to have the IV's in my arm is it cause the pain lance don't have it why do i" she pouted" but i'm trying to be strong i don't want my mum nor do i want my friend or my aunt to see me cry like this thank you for taking care of me" she say sitting up SmallSailboat​

Asaya sighed in disappointment as Lance went to sleep, and looked around for any other students who may be awake. He noticed that Michele seemed to be preoccupied with people she knew visiting her, and decided to sit and await someone to become available for conversation. Someone HAD to like masks in this school as much as he did, right? He took out his cell phone, searching for reference pictures for any future masks he may create.

She shook her head at her, dismissing the thought. "True strength doesn't come from holding in pain but rather in letting it out. It's okay to cry, to be upset, to be hurt. It doesn't make you weak to feel those things. Those are completely natural things to feel and respond to, and as I'm sure you know, nature is anything but weak." She gave the girl a tired smile, then frowned as she went to dump the bowl out. Lance should have an IV in. She checked his arm, and noticed that it was gone. She frowned deeper, and went to reapply it while he slept. He only stirred slightly as she stuck it in. "There, is that better now?" She directed at Michelle. "Lance is in just as much pain as you are if not worse, he just expresses it differently than you do sweetie. His pain seems to have worn him out." She said as she looked him over, checking for any signs of a worsening condition. He seemed to be healing well, which brought relief to her heart. She hated seeing the children suffer, and genuinely hoped she could get the two of them out of her office and back to class within the next day or two. As much as she liked getting to know her students, she preferred it not be in her office. She looked to the small man who looked dejected at the lack of attention he was getting. She excused herself from the two ladies, and took pity on him to approach him. "So, you like masks, huh? That's nice."

Marina stood to the side as the nurse went to work helping her friend out. She kept quite rubbing her arm as hoping Elle would be fine now. Once the nurse was done Marina walked over to Michelle "you doing alright Elle?.." she said hopping on to the foot of the bed. A face of concern on her face for Elle.

Asaya looked up from his phone, and nodded excitedly. "Yes! Masks are amazing things. You can be whatever you want, using them!" He set his phone beside him, face down. "Have you ever worn a mask before?" He said, looking up at the nurse. He seemed rather excited to be talking about masks.

Michelle just looked at her best friend as she smiled" i'm okay how was class" she asked as she looked down at her foot" the nurse said i messed up my foot pretty bad but i'm okay do you know where is mama" she say having a sad look in her eyes" the nurse medicine isn't as deadly like my moms medication yuck it's so nasty" she say as she giggled a little looking at the door hoping her mother would come she didn't know where she was she just lay down on the bed" i'm sorry i didn't text you i got grounded mama has my phone i don't remember what happend or how i got here" she say AquaMarie​

Marina gently smiled as she was glad that Michelle was alright "class was the same as always...nothing crazy had happened just same o same o" she replied thought got worried again when she noticed the sad look in her friend's eyes "your mom? im not sure I only ran into your aunt. She looked worried and told me about you and said she would go get your mom, think your mom was out of the school" she replied "don't worry Elle they should be back soon" Not a few minutes when she said that Vivienne came running in again followed by Kathleen. "Sweetpea!" Vivienne said her eyes full of tears as she went over to Michelle's bedside and kissed her all over her face glad her daughter was safe. She had been so worried when she found out what had happened by Kathleen "I told you she was alright, Our little flower is a strong one" Kathleen said standing behind Vivienne. Marina hopped off the bed when she saw Michells mother and aunt run in. Texangamer

Marina went off to get a seat for herself and Michelle's aunt and mother so they could sit next to her friend's bedside.

"I found you on the ground on the hallway as I walked over to your mother's classroom to drop off something for her while she was away. I saw you there barely moving so I picked you up and brought you to the nurse's office..." Kathleen replied to Michelle's question about how she got here. She tanked Marina and took a seat next to Michelle's bedside. Vivienne stopped fussing over Michelle and took a seat "I'm sorry dear I was just worried, and don't be sorry it's not your fault" She comforted her daughter. Kathleen placed her hand on her sister's shoulder 'I don't think Michelle is safe here sis....She is been getting attack and then I been hearing many students have been getting attack...you said it was safe here...but to me, it sounds like this school is not safe...something is after these students and I'm not liking it...' Kathleen spoke to her sister in old Elvish a language Michelle only new a handful of words. At the most a few objects and her name. 'don't you think I been noticing that Kat! I tried talking to the headmaster but it seems nothing is being done about it!...I dont even think this is bullying anymore this seems to extreme to be children picking on others...im also afraid its something worse and I feel that I might have to get my little one out of the school' Vivienne said replying to her sister. The two women continue to discuss between them in Elvish.

Michelle just looked at her aunt than to her mother she knew a few words from what they were saying she never learned the language she just looked over to friend she didn't know what to say as she bite her lip as she didn't know what they were saying but kinda just guess" Chan eil mi airson a fàgail tha caraidean agam. Marina wondered what they were discussing as she just tilts her head as if she was trying to understand them. The only thing she could make out was their facial expressions, and to what she saw in Michelle it did not look good. Even though she did not understand them she was worried that they might take Elle away. She felt like she should go, feeling that it was best that she left the family leave "ill see you tomorrow Elle, feel well soon...bye" she gave them all a wave and left the nurses office. She hugged herself, feeling unsure about what was going to happen to her friend. Was she going to change school? and why were so many bad things happening at the school lately? The brunette sighed as she went to her dorm to pick up her pet octopus "come on Ozy...we will stay in the water tonight" She placed Ozy in a specialized orbe to which she carried him and made her way out of the school and into the lake at the edge of the school.

The two women stopped their conversation when Michelle speaks up. They both kept quiet and listen to what Michelle had to say. Vivienne sighed as she looked over to Kathleen before looking back at Michelle "Tha mi a 'tuigsinn mo ghaol, ach feumaidh sinn rudeigin a thoirt a-mach" (I understand dear, but we have to figure something out). she started "chan urrainn dhuinn a bhith air a ghoirteachadh fad na h-ùine, tha seo a 'fàs gu mòr" (we cant have you getting hurt all the time, this is becoming to much). Kathleen added, Though Vivieen just sighed huggling her daughter "lets not worry about that right now just rest dear" she said patting her daughters head. She just wanted her daughter to rest and save up her energy, she could not have her stressing right now. Texangamer

Michelle just looked at her mom as she looked around" okay mama whatever you think it's best for me" she says as she just smiled looking at her mom as she smiled she just yawned laying on her mother rubbing her eyes" I'm sorry for making you worry mama" she says as she lay on her mom lap as she sighed"I can stay with auntie until I feel better or until you figure it out I can go back to homeschooling" she said as she closed her eyes as she fell asleep she been having nightmares of what happend to her she just wimpers in her sleep she didn't want to stress about not going to school anymore she was moaning as she was having a bad dream holding onto her mom as she sleeped as she smiled a little her IV's was out of the system in the morning she was happy she didn't know they were heading to Scotland her bags were packed and her camera was packed she just hugged her stuffed Rabit Skylar but she calls it sky she just smiled happily as she slept she didn't like waking up so early

"its alright dear it's not your fault dear..." she said patting her head "Yes dove just sleep right now we can discuss what will happen tomorrow" Kathleen added. Once Mechelle fell asleep the two sisters went to work on healing the young girl. Her leg got fully healed as it was nothing to gravely. Though the stab wound was close now, she would not be able to do much for two days without hurting herself. She would just have to take things slowly as her body finished healing itself.

Mitch just yawned as she woke up with her mom trying to wake her up as she yawns she open her eyes" morning mama morning Auntie Kat" she say as she smiled as she saw a laguage as she looked confused she saw the laguage" where we going mama are we gonna see Grandma" she asked confsued not sure how they were getting to Scotland she just sat up in the bed as she was ready to go" can i have my phone mama" she say looking at her foot as it felt so much better she just stood up she was excited about going back to her hometown Scotland AquaMarie​

"morning sweet pea" Vivianne greeted her daughter with a sweet smile. Kat smiles looking over to see if they have everything they needed. "jes dear we are heading to Scotland for a bit and yes we are going over to see your grandmother" she replied as she placed a small bag on the foot of her bed "your phone is in your bag dear and you can use it now" she said giving her permision.
"lets have ya slowly sit up and then stand and get your legs moving before we head off" Kathleen stated as she walked over to her neice and sister. They bothwaited to help Michelle off the bed so she could use her legs before they set off to their trip.

Lance woke up from his nap, excited to see Akira, when his heart sank in his chest. Akira had to go back home for a family emergency. He wouldn't get to see him for a while. Lance was in a room full of people, but it had been a long time since he'd felt so alone. It hit him harder to see Michelle surrounded by her family and her friend. No one was there for him. He felt a little better when the nurse had called the librarian in, who absolutely insisted that she visit every day until Akira came back to take care of him. He invited the others anyway, so Danny, Darron, Isabella, and Leda all got to meet Lance's 'mom'. He even thought to invite Marina and the masked man along, whom he now knew was Asaya, when he had worked up the courage. They caught him up on what had been going on with them until recently, and although he wished Akira had been there with him, he settled things with Danny when Miss Morgan excused herself to go get more party supplies. They all exchanged phone numbers at the end, and went home happy. Lance and Akira texted every chance they could, but it wasn't constant as Akira's parents still didn't accept him. Lance looked like a demon, being gay on top of that didn't make him the ideal choice to tell his parents about. They'd probably try to exorcise him or something. Lance sent lots of pictures to Akira while he was away, mostly of the party or of things he thought Akira would like. Miss Morgan also caught him feeding the alley cats (when he's not supposed to) and took video of both Lance being blissfully ignorant and flushing while trying to explain himself. Lance had gained a sense of what kind of music Akira liked through the links to songs Akira had sent him, and tried to send him links to songs he thought he would like, but it was hit or miss with Lance's choices.

The nurse spent hours quietly talking about masks with the young man, and learned that his name was Asaya. Well, it's more that Asaya spent hours talking while the nurse listened. He probably could've spent all night there talking, but the nurse had to get home to her dog and update her student records one last time for the day. She had to shoo him out of the room and insist that he go home to his dorm. She was relieved to see Michelle get out of the headmaster's grasp for a little while. A small part of her hoped she wouldn't come back, for her own sake, but most of her knew she would probably return once Vivienne cooled off and return to help her protect the students again. Her office was empty now, and the mask Asaya gave her now hung on her wall, above her desk.

Isa just slept in the dorm as she yawns she probably should visit Lance she just smiled as she got up and put her headphones on as she was jamming with her headphones in she just walked to the nurse office to see Lance as she smiled" hiya" she say to Lance as she looked diffrent her hair cute with her hightlight with pink and purple as she looked at him" how you doing" she asked as she smiled she wanted to learn how to fight but didn't know how she wished they were a fighter club she held onto her skateboard as she smiled looking at him she wasnted to defend herself in case her uncle come look for her she didn't like her uncle due to the abuse she was delt with she had scars on her neck she forgot to put her scarf to hide it from lance she just smiled she wasn't emberressed about it though she just smiled

Asaya left the office, as requested by the nurse, but did not head to his dorm. He decided to continue working on a mask he had recently started on, and headed over to the carpentry workshop in the school. He found the door to the workshop unlocked, and let himself in. the lights were out, but this was no real bother to him, as he used his phone for light. He could have just turned on the lights, of course, but he didn't really think of that. that day, he was absent in every single one of his classes, which left many students confused when the teacher attempted introducing someone who was not actually in the room. Asaya sat at a table in the workshop, and pulled an unfinished wooden mask from his bag. This one was covered in imperfections and scratches, and he stared at it for a short while before letting out a disappointed sigh, and began his work. (edited bit when i realized it was currently morning) Asaya worked on this mask the entire night, and did not sleep.

Lance flushed at his new nickname. He'd never had a sibling before, but he could understand why she called him that. She was like a little sister, or at least what he knew of them. He patted her head and smiled when she handed him the number, and texted her every so often. Not as often as Akira, but Michelle sent him pictures of Scotland and Lance always sent a comment on it back. He asked her, because he had forgotten to, to ask Miss Woods if, when she came back, she could be the judge for his baking competition with Darron. Lance was excited to see pictures of a foreign country, and had inspiration to make new art pieces from the beauty in her pictures. Miss Morgan had tried to spend time with him, but knew that as soon as he requested his art supplies from his room that there was no longer any room for her, as Lance tended to get absorbed in either his thoughts or his work whenever he put pencil to paper. He had just finished the piece he was working on when Isabella came in.



He almost didn't recognize Isabella when she came in, but Lance quickly realized and weaved his words. "Hey Bella, good to see you! I'm healing, this new medicine the nurse is giving me is supposed to have me walking in a few days. She says it's got something to do with unlocking my recovery abilities as an Au Ra? I don't really get it, but I'm feeling better. I like your new hair color, it suits you." Lance looked her over, checking for any signs of injury. He wasn't sure if she was here to see him or if she was here to see the nurse. Nothing seemed visibly wrong, other than the scars on her neck, but her face didn't show any signs of it bothering her. He was certain when she pulled up a chair to his bedside that she was here for him. That was when he noticed a little gold ring hanging from her neck. Wait, isn't gold used for wedding rings? Was she married?! They're only 17! Was it one of those awful arranged marriage things? He hoped that wasn't the case, he wanted Isabella to be happy and marry someone she loved. "Is... is that a wedding ring on your necklace?" Wait, why was it on her necklace and not on her finger? Maybe it was just an engagement ring and not a wedding ring. Still, they were far too young to be getting into that kind of thing! It's not something you rush in haphazardly! Lance looked visibly surprised with a faint blush on his cheeks.

The nurse smiled at the picture, and decided that was also going on the wall once she got a frame for it. It warmed her heart that her students were so sweet. The nurse was had the other nurse cover for her that day, as she was absolutely exhausted from the day before.

Asaya sleepily walked his way out of the room, leaving behind a mess of wood shavings and pieces of a broken mask. he had gotten more than a little upset at his work over the night, and shattered that which he was working on over the night. He stumbled a little as he walked, suffering exhaustion from having worked all night without sleep, and decided he would go check on his new friend in the nurse's office. He decided to politely knock on the door before entering, as he usually did.

Isa just blushed as he was asking her about the promise rings as she looked at him" thanks i like it too" she say holding her new skateboard" uh.... uh..... uh..... it's not what you think....... it's just a promise ring from my boyfriend" she say as she looked at him as she tries to hide the scars from her neck she didn't like her scars" whats that Lance" she asked pointing to the picture trying to change the subject as she was really embarressed she fell out of her chair when he asked her about the ring being on her finger" why the hell would you ask that i'm only 15 i far too young for that" she giggled as she looked at him as she smiled" ow that hurts" she say​

"no dear your not grounded anymore, you can use your phone now" she softly replied with a small smile. "we be going on train of cousre...planes are horable rubish things...one is not to be so far up in the sky.." Kathleen said with a shiver as she picked up bags and walked out the door. Vivienne chuckled as she picked up her things "well dear go on and bid your farwal from your friends we will meet you outside by the front gates" Vivienne said before walking out the dor herself.
Once Michelle was done and meet them in the front gates they went on their way to a very long trip to Scotland by train. It was very eairly morning when they reached scotland, the air was crisp and their was a bit of fog that morning.

Lance panicked a bit when she fell, ashamed he couldn't get up and help her. He was glad Akira wasn't here to see him like this. He loved to hate how his love for Akira brought him to his knees and made him weak, but he wanted to least keep up the idea that Akira could depend on him to be physically strong. Thankfully, she got up and seemed to be okay. His brow furrowed as she went to hide her scars. Were they bothering her after all? He almost went to talk about his picture, but then pouted at her question, looking away from her with puffed cheeks as he weaved. "It wasn't that crazy of an assumption..." He didn't know what a promise ring was. What kind of promise do you need a ring for other than getting married. He decided he didn't want to rack his brain trying to figure it out and asked her directly. "What's a promise ring?" Then he heard the knock at the door and weaved to Isabella a separate message. "Could you get the door? I can't get it myself."
