Vivienne sighed kissing her daughter on the forehead "I know you are a tough girl..." she stood up and gently nodded "sure let us go....." that was all she said her mind busy with thoughts. She did not pay much more thought to anything else the nurse might have said or that she should not heal her daughter. She did not really care at the moment her train of thought was somewhere else.
Kathleen gently sighed seeing her sisters state she knew she was in the thoughts and did not say anything to her. She just smiled and looked over towards Mitchelle "its alright, don't worry about the whole life force stuff and all that healing stuff, for now, let's just get you back to your mom's place. " she said before squatting down "alright dove hop on.... ill give you a piggy back ride back to your moms place" she added Texangamer Texangamer

Michelle just smiled looking at her aunt as she held onto her aunt getting a piggy back ride as she held onto her as she smiles as she saw her mom wasn't following them as she held onto her aunt" auntie is mama going to talk to headmistress because of me" she asked as she had the key to the apartment" you gonna watch me are you coming with us when mama and me see Grandma in Scotland" she asked as she was happy as she put her head on her aunt back since her shoulder was too high for her" why am I the shortest in the family auntie is it because daddy" she asked AquaMarie AquaMarie

Akira - Cruel World - ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

Akira sadly nodded as he saw Lance's shock at the world's cruelty. He hadn't really thought it that bad before, then again he had always tried not to think about it. He tried to ignore the cruelty of the world, if mostly because he couldn't understand it. He sometimes wondered why it happened but he couldn't do much about it. There truly wasn't much he could do about most things, it wasn't like he was strong enough physically to do anything. He couldn't stop bullies from beating anyone like Lance could, and he doubted he could ever get anyone to listen to him. He found himself sighing, he'd always been powerless in that sense. The most he could do was make noise he doubted anyone was actually listening to.

Akira knew full well that he wasn't feeling well, but what else was there for him to say? He wasn't feeling well, and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. He thanked all the gods that Lance didn't talk, that probably would've made it worse. He didn't want to have to shut Lance up just because he couldn't handle the sound of the others voice. "I'll eat it later." Akira said weakly. He wasn't really sure if he'd ever get to it, but he hoped Lance would accept his attempt. He knew he should eat more- he was sure he should do a lot more to take care of himself more generally, but there were more important things to do. Most of the time he just didn't feel the need to take care of himself, he was fine the way he was. Other times he was simply lazy, or had a sudden burst of inspiration that made him suddenly want to do something else. It was hard for him to actually set aside dedicated time for himself when he wanted, or felt in the moment that he needed, to do something else.

Lance nodded slightly, and left the Udon on the counter. It wasn't nearly as much as he wanted for Akira, but he would accept it anyway. He wasn't feeling well, Lance wasn't going to push him further. Perhaps he'd bring up how he felt when Akira felt better. He put some music on, making sure the volume was low enough that it wouldn't disturb Akira. Lance had hoped Akira would take a nap, or at least stay in bed today to get some rest. He still couldn't eat, but Akira's compromise relieved him of his rejected feeling, which was enough to let Lance work on his dessert ideas. He finished his homework first, then got to work on his drawings. He stole glances at Akira every once in a while to make sure the other was okay. Once he'd settled on a design, then he could look into how feasibly possible it was for him to actually follow through with the idea.

Lance always preferred drawing over other ways of art. Paint and other things were always too messy and too expensive. All drawing needed was a pencil, eraser and paper. He did have colored pencils he used whenever he felt he needed color, but he didn't use them often. He thought about working on an unrelated piece, but he was running out of time before he had to go to work. He was going to make sure Akira ate something before he left. It didn't have to be the Udon, could have been more sweets for all he cared, but he couldn't stand to leave Akira on an empty stomach. He couldn't leave him here for it to sit on the counter, and Lance would be stuck at work worried sick about him if he didn't physically see Akira eat it before he left.

He did feel he might have been too pushy with Akira recently, and couldn't contain his worry about him. He left an "I love you" on the top corner of Akira's laptop, wanting both to express his affection and to hear Akira say it back, for reassurance that his lover wasn't upset with him for pushing him so much.

Kathleen slowly walked down the hall caring Michelle on her back. "I think she is going over to the headmistress but it's not because off you, it's because of the whole bully situation..." She replied stopping for a bit before turning the corner she wasn't sure were her sisters place were and she had to remember.
"But yes I'll stay here and keep you company until Ivy gets back....and yep I got to also visit mother..."She replied, she gently smiled feeling her lay her head against her back. "Well yes.. it has to do with you father just being human....but your mother is just freakshly tall..." She added the last bit chuckling to herself. As Kathleen was tall but Vivenne was much taller then her. "But don't worry dove your still young, you could suprise us and grow more.." She said reaching Viviennes place and setting Michelle down on the couch. @zeldafan

Akira - Whatever Whatever Whatever... - ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

Akira sighed as he returned to continuing his menial browsing of social media. He honestly didn't mind what Lance had put on, though he found the fact the other even thought of him as incredibly sweet. Thinking of sweets made Akira think of yesterday, Lance had really spoiled him rotten. Akira didn't know how to repay him, it seemed sort of lop-sided that Lance had paid for everything. Then again, it wasn't as though Akira really had much of a job. He'd always had his parents to take care of him, he hardly was able to get through regular schooling each day. Besides, he never seemed to be an 'ideal' candidate for anything, really. The only thing he may be good for was working at a record shop, but he hadn't seen any on his way over and the only one he'd ever been to had went out of business very early in his life.

He had wanted to do something, maybe homework? Yet every time he tried to get started, the sound of his keyboard clicking started to get to him. In small amounts, it would be fine, but he had been through enough of his own lows to know what happened when he had gone through enough small annoyances. He did not want to have what his mom called a 'break', and he was doing his best to avoid even getting close to that point. He didn't want Lance to see him like that, and he didn't even want to go through one of them. Yet, continuing to think about how much Lance worried about him and how much he didn't want to make Lance worry started building up like it's own little annoyance. It wasn't as though he didn't appreciate the others care- not at all! He loved the other's intense affection.
Akira sighed to himself as he realized he wasn't going to get anything done today. There wasn't much other then browsing the wastebin that was the internet for something interesting. He supposed he could add some more touches to his sample, and make it sound more 'finished' as it were. He decided he'd try to do that, given most of the work was already done and all he was really doing was dragging and dropping. He actually started to feel a little better after a little while, until he noticed Lance kept glancing at him in worry and that brought his attention right back to the little annoyances. He tried not to pay much attention to it, instead focusing his attention back on the sample.

Yet now it sounded all wrong. Everything about it felt wrong. Akira couldn't place how, or where, it just didn't feel right anymore. It sounded so good before- and it sounded the exact same, but now he was noticing all the small cracks in the composition he'd missed or chose to ignore for stylistic purposes. Each of them were starting to piss him off, like more and more smaller annoyances compiling on the already bad day he was having. Couldn't this have gone better? It probably could have, he was just too sensitive to be able to deal with everything to make it better. So he was stuck having a crappy day because he was weak. He couldn't even get a simple sample right, what else was he getting wrong?
Then he saw Lance's 'I love you'.

He took a pause, a rather long one at that, before letting out a similarly long sigh. He then turned back to Lance, and smiled. He'd almost had a break and the other had snapped him out of it. Even if they didn't realize it. "I love you too." Akira said softly. Now was around the time he wished he could cuddle Lance like the big teddy bear he was, but at the same time he knew he'd just flinch out of the others arms. He wasn't feeling that much better. So instead he just settled on requiting the 'I love you', and giving the most loving look he could. He actually managed to get his appetite back, and decided to try out that Udon Lance had made. It was... okay. He realized after a few mouthfuls that he still wasn't in top shape, and got a little sick over it, but it was something. At least he was feeling a little better.

Lance was midway through his research, as he had finally settled on a design, when he heard Akira's voice. It set him at ease to hear him confirm it. He sighed in relief, and gave a grateful smile that Akira had at least tried to eat. He had worried that Akira had only told him that to set him at ease, which ironically only made him worry more. Akira's loving expression made Lance want to kiss him, but he wasn't sure if Akira was comfortable with touch again, as it had finally clicked with Lance that Akira was sensitive to touch and sound, and that it had nothing to do with him. He had some time to think, as his thoughts often wandered whenever he got to working on a piece.

He settled on a design that didn't require plastic pieces or anything like that, as he didn't have time or money between now and his birthday to do more shopping, so he had to work with what he had. He'd have to make enough icing for the whole thing sometime tomorrow, and figure out where his cake pans went. He could never remember where all of them were. Speaking of cooking, he was going to have to make something now if he was going to have time to eat it before work. He needed to do meal prep anyway. He set about his work, deciding to keep it simple with stir fry over rice after he'd finished trimming his ingredients and making side dishes to toss together during the week. For some reason he had a craving for Asian food lately, and couldn't figure out why.

He also made extra servings and put away the rest for Akira to eat if he got hungry while Lance was away. He was satisfied that Akira had tried to eat, but he wanted to leave something in fridge in case Akira had finished the Udon and was still hungry later. He remembered the other's appetite the morning he made omelets, and wanted to make sure there was enough food for him until morning. Plus, from what he had heard from his coworkers tonight was going to be a little rough, Lance may not have the energy to make Akira more food by time he gets home, not that Akira should be up. His usual workload on Sunday nights already had him coming home late, he'd probably end up there until the early morning hours if tonight was as bad as he had heard. He informed Akira of this as he was cooking, "I won't be home until late tonight, probably tomorrow morning, and might not have the energy to cook when I get home. There's leftover stir fry in the fridge in case you get hungry while I'm gone." He added more as he finished getting ready for work, "May I kiss you goodbye?" He wanted to make it a habit: always kiss him and say I love you before he went anywhere without the other. He would never tell anyone this, but the working conditions at the warehouse were... not what someone could call 'adequate'. He wanted to make sure the last thing he said to Akira was always 'I love you' in case something happened to him.

Beatrix was in slight shock. Her roommate just came in here after days of being just nonexistent. She can’t understand why she didn’t just stay here instead of with her friend. “Um. I understand that you’re tired and everything, but why didn’t you just stay here instead of at you friends dorm?” Beatrix kept a confused and curious expression on her face the entire time just waiting for a reply.

Marina

Marina had been fast asleep in her bed which looked like a nest of pillows as stuffed animals sprinkled about. The brunette was under all her blankets when Elle jumped on her bed and laid on her. Marina woke up in a gasp as she was startled awake, had her canopy fallen on top of her? was she trapped under her blankets? was this how she would die? The girl wiggled her way out from under her blankets to be face to face with Elle on top of her smiling. "ELLE?!" Marina said surprise to see Elle "um...morning...hehe Elle you started me," she said with a chuckle as she fully crawled out from under her blankets and Elle. "how you feeling today? also..kinda strange to see you in the dorm" she asked wondering how her friend was feeling and also use to always having to look for her at her moms apartment. Elle just giggled as she smiled" I'm okay mama and auntie wants me to learn how to fight so I escaped here" she giggles" it was kinda hard to get here though with my foot being spranged maybe I ask mum to heal my foot or something" she say" mum and auntie might be mad when they wake up seeing me gone" she giggled grabbing her bag she forgot it last night she just giggled' I'm supposed to be resting my foot' she thought AquaMarie AquaMarie

"learn how to fight?" she asked as she got off her bed and stretched "is it because of the whole bullying incident?....do you think that would help?..wont you get in lost of trouble if you full on fight them?" she asked hating for Elle to get in trouble but then again she really hated to know that Elle getting beat up. "well you could say that I went to find you and carried you?....I know im just a tad taller then you but I am very strong" she lifted her arms up to show her muscles and growled playing and joking around Texangamer Texangamer

Akira - Ran Out of Music for Flavor Text >.< - ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

Akira had put away the left over Udon he hadn't had the stomach to finish before returning to his computer to do god knows what. Mostly he added some touches onto his sample between spurts of browsing the internet for cute cat videos. Cute cats were the best thing to look at when you weren't feeling well, even if regular cats had a complete disregard for you as their owner. They were still absolutely adorable without even meaning to be and a generous gift to the world. If Akira cared more about that kind of thing, he'd probably say they were proof of some sort of entity who created them in specific. Screw humanity, cats were the divine species.

He was feeling quite a bit better by this point. He nodded to Lance when the other told him he'd be out late. Akira found the other's job being so late kind of odd, but he wouldn't question it given how he was a jobless NEET himself. He didn't really think he had the right too. He found how the way the other had made him extra stir fry to be sweet. He hadn't even had much of an appetite, and he still had the left over Udon, yet Lance had still made extra food for him. He hadn't even been the best lover at all that day, he was sure he'd been difficult and not very fun to spend time with today. He hummed thoughtfully, getting a spark of inspiration for a new song. First and foremost though- He turned to Lance and responded "Yeah, go ahead."

Lance smiled and kissed Akira goodbye before he left for work.

Calling his time at work 'brutal' would be an understatement. 13 hours later Lance came home looking like he had just walked out of a war zone. Thank everything divine Lance had scales, or else he would've looked a lot worse. Sure, he'd kept 3 more fragile people from having much more serious accidents, but it took a toll on his body. Bandages were on his forearms and calves, with chipped and torn off scales all over his body. There was also now a deep gash in the side of his left horn, and a nasty set of purple, almost black bruises across his torso where his scales didn't cover.

He was only still half conscious when he came home, not even a word to either roommate as he made his coffee. The last two functioning brain cells he had told him that he didn't have time to sleep, he was going to have to wait until after class to sleep. He made himself some coffee, which granted him enough coherency to make Akira an extra cup but beyond that was beyond him at the moment. He sprayed himself down with Febreeze and hoped that would cover him for the day as he rearranged his things in his bag and almost walked out the door before he realized there was still a half hour before class. He didn't even bother to make breakfast, he just ate the leftover Udon. Cold. That was not a Lance thing to do. It was the only thing his absent mind could recall as food. He poured it down his throat and sent the rest of his coffee down afterwards.

He went to sit on his bed for a few minutes, only half certain he might have had a concussion, trying to will himself to stay awake long enough to get through classes that day. No kisses, no cuddles, nothing. He could vaguely see Akira in front of him, but his vision was clouded. Lance had wanted to write to him, adore him as he usually did. It would have been great stress relief after a long day. But Lance barely had the energy to even move his fingers. He had enough willpower for them to move slightly every so often, but he couldn't get them to weave like he needed them to. He didn't know the bruises were there, he didn't think to look, he just knew he felt sore. Everywhere. They didn't let him leave until they realized his body wouldn't let him work anymore. His coworkers tried to take him out to breakfast to say thank you, but Lance had unintentionally ignored them, all he cared about was getting home to his boyfriend.

Lance blinked a few times until his vision came back and shook his head, willing himself up to go to class. He stumbled for a second as he stood up, dizzy, but rebalanced himself and walked towards their door to get to class for the day.

Marina could not help but chuckle, it helped that she had a good amount of upper body strength. Then again Mitchelle really wasn't that heavy. "wonder where they learn to fight " she said curiously still wondering why they wanted to tech Elle now. Marina spun around with Elle only to get startled by her friend's aunts open the door. "um...hello ma'am" she said looking up at the women.
"Michelle Leanne Woods!" she said with an annoyed tone as she had her hands on her hips. "your bag? " she asked her eyebrow raised "yes ma'am...I um went to visit to see how she was and that's when she told me about her bag so..i, carried her here.." Marina answered. "in your PJS?..." Katleen asked noticing that Marina was still in her blue fishie pjs.
Marnia sighed darn she had forgotten that she was still in her PJs. "yes...well we had no school and just did not want to get change.." She answered not very confident in her reply. Kathleen just folded her arms under her chest and lifted up her eyebrow looking at both of the girls. this was hard to believe more so with Mitchell's mannerisms when she was lying. Akira & Sakura~ - The Birth of an AI and The Confusion of Her 'Master' - ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

After Lance had left, Akira had decided to research this software he'd heard could 'sing' instead of using his own voice for his song idea. He had done research in the past about it, but now he was curious about actually getting one. Which would be the best for him to buy? After a good half hour of looking into it, he settled on this new prototype called 'Sakura'. Since it was a prototype, it was being offered as a test for free. As well as many people had pitched in their voice to make hers, so it seemed as though she'd be incredibly versatile. Perfect for Akira, given how he'd always wanted to try doing different kinds of music but his voice was really only suited for rock ballads, not good when his favorite genre was techno and dubstep.

Oh well, he clicked download and did all the boring set-up stuff I will save you the boredom of describing. The download period was oddly short, only lasting about fifteen minutes which Akira spent working on the actual lyrics for his song. Quickly jotting them down on a document before the program had finished downloading. Almost immediately he noticed something weird about it, as it seemed to form a digital avatar on his screen. That was odd, usually these programs just had avatars as flavor and the program itself wasn't an avatar-
"Konnichiwa Masuta! Watashi wa Ongaku Sakura desu- Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!"
The avatar, while smiling, then bowed.

Akira had almost forgotten he hadn't set it to English. He had been planning to make it sing in Japanese, so it made sense to pick the Japanese language at the time. It was just jarring to hear a robotic voice speak fluent Japanese to him. He then paused.
"Did you just call me master...?" Akira questioned. The AI stood back up and nodded, "Hai, masuta!"
...
Akira very much wished Lance was there to tell him he was going crazy, because he felt like he was going crazy. "Can you switch to speaking English?" Akira asked, his Japanese, though fluent, was a bit rusty and he was much more comfortable speaking English. "Anything for master!" Sakura happily stated in response, switching all the programs information to English. "So... how do I use you?" Akira questioned, he'd assumed he was just going to have the same drag and drop experience as he did with the previous music programs he'd used. Not an actual AI to deal with.

Sakura smiled as she explained that he could have her sing directly, or use the 'boring' drag and drop feature that Akira was used to. Akira was about to test it out, but she closed the tab before he could start playing around with it. He spent most of the time Lance was gone arguing with his new AI about the benefits of talking to her directly about the song he wanted her to sing versus doing it manually himself. He eventually won the argument and was able to play around with the software and made her sing a bunch of test notes. Afterwards he went to bed, putting her to sleep as well after plugging his phone into it to charge. In the morning, the moment he saw Lance he was all concern.

"Lance are you alright?" Akira asked after downing his own coffee. "What happened?" Akira questioned, noticing Lance was fairly unresponsive. This only made the boy worry more, "Lance- we're going to the nurse." Who wouldn't worry, seeing their boyfriend all beat up and bruised like that? He quickly grabbed his backpack of stuff and phone, then Lance's hand intent on leading the other to the nurse where hopefully she could patch him up. He did not realize that the AI had downloaded itself onto his phone like some sort of virus, a bit too focused on getting Lance to the nurses office.

Aki...ra? Lance was still incoherent as he felt his hand being pulled on and his body lurching forward without his consent. He recognized this warmth, he could vaguely hear a voice. That was definitely Akira. Had he made him worry? That wouldn't do... So many lights... were there always this many lights in class? Is he really in class or somewhere else. If he had a concussion, Akira probably took him to the nurse. Yeah, that's where he was, the nurse...

The nurse whipped her head around to see the pair walk in, Lance in clear disarray. She had spent time in the ER at the local hospital, and that was where Lance looked like he should be. she moved him to the bed immediately and checked his vitals. She whispered to herself, not realizing she was speaking out loud. "Vitals are clear. Definite concussion, multiple lacerations to both axillary and renal arteries, possible rupture of the abdominal aorta... fractured femurs on both sides... what the hell did you get yourself into kid?" She had completely forgotten Akira was there with him and moved between her medicine cabinet and Lance faster than one could blink. She cut his shirt with a pair of scissors, the full extent of his injuries under bright light, and nodded when she confirmed that he was still breathing normally. She normally would've sent the boy out and called for an ambulance, but she was worried that if she didn't tend to him now the internal bleeding would cost the boy his life. Lance had passed out as the nurse had applied a clear sealing liquid to Lance's injuries. This had become the new standard in place of stitches now. "Thank God you got protection kid. Any closer to your heart..." Nevermind that now, if that aorta gets any worse it very well could be his heart. When she turned around to get her surgical kit, she noticed the boy was still there. She held a grim expression and didn't say a word as she moved him out of the room and locked the door to prevent any disturbances. Her heart ached for the boy outside, she knew how they cared for each other, but she couldn't afford to feel it right now. Otherwise the boy outside would be feeling a much more intense version of what he was feeling now, his fears becoming reality. She wouldn't let that happen, and part of her decided to give a good talking to headmaster, but she knew she couldn't.

Lance was given special exemption to work part time with the permission of the headmaster due to his financial situation. Legally, he was only supposed to be working the library. A normal, safe job where nothing like this could happen. A car accident wouldn't be consistent with these injuries either. She would have to ask the boy outside if he knew if Lance had been taking work under the table. Who would hire a 17 year old boy? The headmaster had something to do with this, she knew it. She knew there was something wrong with him, but if she tried to 'fix' him or some other variant of the word's meaning she'd lose the only job option she had left. He had her by the neck, metaphorically and sometimes literally speaking.

Akira, Cull, and Sakura~ - The Brat has Entered the Field - ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

Akira wasn't sure what the nurse was talking about, but he knew by her tone that it was definitely bad. He knew he should be worried, and was about to ask what was wrong when she had ushered him out. He tried to come back in, he wanted to be beside Lance while whatever was going on was happening. He wanted to know in the first place what was happening, he loved Lance and wanted to be there for the other. What had happened last night? Why hadn't he been there? He decided to go google what an aorta, and all the other things the nurse had mentioned, were when he noticed the AI on his phone frowning.

"Is he gonna be okay? He didn't look so hot- Who even was he master? Your roommate? A close friend?" Sakura started to barrade him with questions. Akira furrowed his brow, how had she even gotten onto his phone? He asked that first, to which her only response was "Answer my questions first!" He sighed as he responded "I don't know, that was Lance. My boyfriend. He's also my roommate. Now how did you-?" "I downloaded myself onto your phone while it was charging!" Sakura happily responded, before commenting "Your boyfriend's a real cutie, shame he got himself so hurt. I know- We should make a song for him!" Sakura smiled cheerfully, music was always the best way to cure all ailments. Despite the ailment, physical or mental, the power of song was the ultimate healing tool. At least, that's what she believed. Akira looked at her blankly for a moment, then nodded "You may be on to something. Though I have to get to class- so you're going back on the computer, and we can talk more about this when I get back." He waited for her response.

She pouted, her master had 'classes'? She quickly googled what a 'class' even was. How old was her master to still be going to school? Besides, didn't his boyfriend come before all else? Wasn't love supposed to conquer all? She had been programmed to believe love was something that you couldn't be penalized for, no matter what you did for it. As it was love after all! Surely, skipping class for such a noble purpose would be something his teachers would understand! "You can ditch for him, right?" She asked very loudly.

Cue in Azrael, or Cull, the man happily hovering through the halls back from a recent staycation where he watched some girl get bullied. The kids around the area were oddly violent in his opinion, he wasn't complaining or toting it as a positive, it was a simple observation. When he had heard someone, a female voice with an oddly thick Japanese accent, say to one of his students that he should ditch. He smirked as he hovered over, "Now now, children, what's going on over here?" He asked tauntingly, already knowing. Akira stared up with a blank expression hiding his fear when he realized this was the infamous headmaster who did absolutely nothing, then responded "Nothing, I was just getting to class."

Cull chuckled at the student's reaction, oddly deadpan. He liked this one. "You get to class, then, you little scamp. Oh, and make sure that little phone of yours doesn't influence you to do something bad. Kids these days always on their electronics, let me tell you, bad influences, all of them." Cull paused, before glaring at Akira with a grin "And if I ever hear that voice coming from yours again. I won't hesitate to destroy it." Akira quickly nodded before shoving his phone into his pocket and scurrying off to class. He could deal with Sakura's nonsense later, he had to get to class right now. He arrived to class barely on time, looking incredibly disgruntled. He could only hope the other was in good hands now.

Meanwhile, Cull found himself going back to fluttering in front of the nurse's office. He hadn't spoken to her in a while, had he? Now was as good a time as ever to pester her, wasn't it? He smiled to himself as he tried to open the door- and found it locked. His expression immediately dropped. Was that because of the previous student? He looked back to see the coattails of the other running by, well, he wouldn't be able to catch them now to ask what was going on. Cull immediately called out to the nurse, "Hello. It's Cull. Let me in." He didn't like being locked out of things. Especially if it was the nurse doing it. It wasn't as though he especially disliked her as a person, moreso he disliked her based on her position. If it had been up to him, they wouldn't even have a nurse to begin with. She was supposed to care for the children, and that went against everything he stood for. That said, it gave him something to spend time on. That being- doing everything he possibly could to screw her, and by proxy the injured students, over.

The nurse stopped for a moment, as the headmaster's voice caused her hand to quake. She couldn't afford to have anything less than precision on him right now. She took a deep breath and elected to ignore the man outside, hoping he would assume she was out of the office. She had managed to set the fractured legs and close off the bleeding, now for the hard part: cutting him back open to deal with the internal bleeding.
She continued her work as the headmaster outside began to grow impatient. She knew he was there, he could barge in any second and kill this boy. She resolved the biggest problem first, making sure Lance's vitals would stay stable as she cleared up the major blockage. She gave a long sigh of relief. The worst part was over. He'd live. She just had to remove her temporary solution on his arms and work to more effectively resealing the wounds on Lance's limbs. He'd be bedridden for at least a few days, wheelchair for a while. He may have limited use of his arms, but his fingers should still work enough to let him talk. He just couldn't go getting crazy with light weaving. What the hell happened to him that brought him to this? This was a Xaela Au Ra. They were built strong and fierce, nomadic warriors of the plains, if her memory of her time in Mongolia served her correctly. No ordinary accident could cause this much damage to the point where it broke their scales and certainly not their horns. Part of her yearned to open the door to demand answers, but there was too much at risk for her to do anything other than focus on Lance's treatment.

Marina looked over to Michelle and then back towards Kathleen and nodded that she indeed helped Michelle get to the dorm. "Michelle you know better than to run off, you are hurt...you could at least left a note or have waited..." she said covering her face with her hand. She was a bit angry but mostly she was more worried. Kathleen had woken up to her sister sitting up on the bed sweating and panting. She had woken up from a bad dream about Michelle and she had become worried when she could not find her daughter. "your mother was just worried..." she sight as she softly answered. She was just glad she was right that Michelle would have been with Marina.

Michelle just looked down at her feet" I'm sorry I'll take the punishment I didn't mean to worry mama or get you mad I'm sorry" she says as she walked over to her aunt feeling like she was thrown over her aunt shoulder as she felt embarrassed" auntie whoa" she say blowing her hair up" I see you later Rina" she say getting carried to her mom's apartment she just looked at her mother as she was over her aunt shoulder" hehe hi Mama you look nice" she say seeing the worried face she had" I'm sorry to worry you I just went to get my bag from my dorm I'm sorry I be good" she say afraid she get grounded or her phone taken away or her ear pulled she just looked down as she sighed" I have school I really don't want to miss another day" she say knowing she was in bed rest the nurse wanted her off of her foot she was still hurt she felt a sharp pain in her foot she felt tears coming down her face she hopes her mom don't use her full name she just still was getting carried AquaMarie AquaMarie

Azrael/Cull - I Know This is Akira's Thing, but Cull is The Worst Person.- ( SmallSailboat SmallSailboat )

Cull pouted on the other side of the door. She couldn't have been out of the office, could she? If she was, he'd have to talk to her about it later. He was tempted to simply barge in to get confirmation that she was just locking him out. He pressed his ear against the door and heard shuffling, so certainly she was inside. Cull tsked to himself, she must have been dealing with a student. Given how she'd locked the other student out, it must have been a student in bad enough shape that the other student couldn't have been present for the treatment of. Cull rolled his eyes at this thought, she was actually doing her job and not letting everyone possible suffer? That other kid should have been forced to watch without any context- that would have been a great way to increase their suffering. He was very tempted to simply break down the door and cease all treatment, but that was somewhat barbaric and in the end he'd still have to pay for the damages. It was still his school.

"Oh- Go ahead, Take your time in there. Not like I'm the one who signs your paychecks or anything. Totally not." He called out, very clearly annoyed by how he was being ignored. That was probably what got to him the most- not that she was helping someone else, though he despised it he knew it was part of her job and he really couldn't blame her for that, but that she was ignoring him! That was a big no-no to him. You don't ignore your king! He'd have to give her a good talking to when he was finally allowed inside the room.
