His red eyes widened as he looked at Crimson. His eyes glowed just like his father's and they were the only thing that stuck out so well. "Crimson...did you follow me?" he asked, his voice deeper than before.

Noticing the deepening of his voice Crimson's ears perked up, "Wow! Look at your eyes Alex! They are so pretty!"

Avoiding the question Crimson's tail wagged and her eyes sparkled as she gave Alex a thorough inspection. Having noticed that he was the same as before Crimson wasn't afraid of him and thought that this side of Alex was exciting.

Spirit stepped a bit as she complimented his eyes and he looked away. "What are you talking?" he asked in an annoyed tone, his fascial expression becoming nonchalant.

Noticing him become sad Crimson's tail dropped slightly and stepped back a bit, "I am sorry I didn't mean to be rude."

Rocking on her feet Crimson looked around her and fell the wind blow through her hair. Suddenly her red hood got caught in the breeze and the button came undone and began to fly away.

"MOTHER! FATHER!" Yelling Crimson began to chase her distinct red hood.

Spirit watched her surprised and hearing her yell for her parents shook him slightly. He suddenly used his necromancy to bring up a dead bird to grab her hood and fly it down to her. He gulped after he realized what he did.

As the bird brought the hood down from where it had gone Crimson smiled happily and turned and ran into Alex giving him a huge hug.

"Thank you Alex! Thank you! Thank you!"

Burying her head into his chest Crimson tried to hide the fact that she was shaking and quickly pulled the hood back onto her and took a step back. Her small body shaking slightly from the idea that she could have lost the hood.

(I will be back soon!)

As she hugged him he froze instinctively. He had no body warmth, and he didn't liked to be touched in the first place, but as he could feel Crimson shaking slightly he sighed and wrapped an arm around her to hug her back. He let her step back as he watched her with an unemotional expression. "You okay now? If so then I should tell you, my name isn't Alexander..."

She felt the coldness of her skin as she hugged him and felt a small shiver go down her spine among her body shaking from the fact that she was afraid of losing her hood. Then she felt him wrap an arm around her as he hugged her back after sighing slightly. She then lsitened to him as he began to speak.

"You okay now? If so then I should tell you, my name isn't Alexander..."

(sorry leaving again... Be back soon)

He looked down at her as he continued, "My name is Spirit and my father was the Horned King." He just wanted to get whatever was going to happen over with, whether she suddenly didn't trust him or if nothing changed. All of them seemed to sense he was hiding something anyway. He was sire Madd already knew some things about him.

(sorry I am really going to take a break after this post... need to have dinner...)

"The Horned King...," even though her parents had told her stories about the horned king they had told her that the stories weren't always true.

'Why take a look at us Crimsie! Your mother and father loved each other despite the way your father was suppose to act! He wasn't like that at all so you must trust what you personally know rather than what you have heard.' Remembering that memory Crimson smiled at Spirit.

"It is nice to meet you Spirit! My name is Crimson, I think you already know that but... My mother is The Little Red Riding Hood and my father is THe Big Bad Wolf. I hope we can get along!"

Her tail wagging Crimson smiled at Spirit with one floppy ear and goofy smile.

(okay I will be back later... sorry....)

He shook his head at her with a sigh. "If you're trying to do a 'start over' thing, I'm not cooperating," he said simply. "I can change how I look, I don't have a personality disorder or something."

Crimson tilted her head and then understood what he meant, "Okie dokie! I wasn't trying to do that in the way that you were meaning. I was just trying to introduce myself to a part of Alex that I haven't met before."

Still smiling Crimson sat herself down on the ground and laid on the grass, "hmmm. Nice day today..."

Spirit could only sigh again and rub his temple slightly. "I swear dead people shouldn't be able to get headaches," he muttered under his breath. "Shouldn't you be returning to the other two?" he asked her.

Crimson looked at him, "But I don't want to let madd see me sad. I know that she will be sad if I look at her wound sadly so I am not going to go there until she is all patched up. Also I am not going to leave you all alone."

Smiling crimson gave her personal goofy smile that seemed to be something that she could only pull off to look appealing.

Spirit suddenly began scratching behind her ear. He felt ashamed that he thought she was so cute with her ears and goofy grin, but you'd never guess that by his facial expression. "I doubt it will take Athena that long to help that freaking Hatter..." he muttered to Crimson.

Leaning into his hand Crimson's tail thumped on the ground happily, "Well I still wouldn't want to leave you all alone. If you are coming with me then I will go back and don't try to tell me otherwise. It will be no use."

Crimson continued to lean into his hand and whispers to herself, "That feels so nice..."

Crimson looked at him, "If you want to. I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to. But I don't think anyone will mind."

Honestly thinking that Crimson looked at him and waited for his reply. She liked Alex but she also liked Spirit but also to her they were the same person so it didn't matter to her who it was.

He sighed and ran a hand through his white hair. "You know the story of the Horned King?" he asked her instead of answering. There were reasons why people didn't trust him.

Crimson nodded her head, "But just because your father is the Horned King doesn't mean that you are like him. I am not like my father or my mother I am me. I am myself. I don't want to know your fathers story. I want to know your story, Spirit. Your father isn't the person who is my friend standing in front of me. You are the person Spirit who I want to know about not your father."

Serious Crimson looked at Spirit sternly. Looking at him she knew that he would most likely counter argue it and she was waiting to see what he would come up with.

(Going to bed good night!)

"I've done some of the same things as my dad actually; raid and pillage villages, kill whole families, and then bring then 'back' to control them..." Spirit explained without hesitation. He didn't hate his father or felt that he was being forced to be his father, he barely knew the guy! He chose his life.

Madd yawned as Cheshire finished wrapping her arm in fresh bandages. Both Crimson and Alexander had disappeared but she was sure they both were capable of handling themselves and she doubted they had gotten to far. Pinning down the gauze with a tiny silver pin she flexed her her arm slightly. She could still move it just fine and the pain had all but receded. She would just have to wait for the wounds to heal. It was simply a reminder that she would have to be more careful in the future. Leaning back she toppled half off the stump and on to Dor's soft body. She glanced up at the sky for a moment, taking her hat off and resting it beside her.

"Well what shall we do now...?"

Personally I favor the idea of nap time...

Then tea time....

Then more nap time perhaps...

But I suppose activity will do as well...

Athena watched as Madd wrapped her wound up. She looked over at Caterina. I wonder where Alex and Crimson are they have been gone for awhile Athena thought to herself. "You should go see if you can see where they are and if everything okay" Athena said to Caterina nodding her head in the direction that the two walked off.

Crimson frowned, "I don't want to know about your father!"

She had always heard stories about the other fairy tale characters from her parents they were nice but they weren't who they were.

"Despite your father doing that, it has nothing to do with you as a person. My father tried to eat people and ate my grandma if you go along with everything you hear. But he wasn't like that. He was a kind and caring person."

@darkminathegone

Spirit rolled his eyes and looked at Crimson once more. "I'm not talking about my dad, Crimson," he said and pushed off the tree, walking away.

Caterina looked up at Athena nodded before throwing some purple dust on her wings and then swiftly flew in the direction Athena gestured to.
