Athena heard a voice from outside the tent and recognized it as Crimson. She looked at the tiny fairy still sleeping so peacefully beside her. I'm surprised I didn't roll over and crush her in my sleep Athena thought to herself. Athena stumbled out of the tent a bit unorthodox. "Morning Crimson" Athena said with a smile while making her way to a nearby log and sitting down.

Crimson ran over to Athena an gave her a huge hug, "Good morning Athena!!!"


Behind Crimson the pack of wolves had formed a small place for themselves in the camp site.


"Did you get a good night sleep Athena?" Crimson asked whilst she hugged her.

Almost being knocked backwards by the force of the hug Athena caught her balance and giggled. "Yeah, I slept as hard as a sea sponge!" Athena laughed. As she woke up she noticed all the wolves. She suddenly grabbed Crimsons shoulders and gasped "hey, we could talk to your wolf friends and see if they can help us find more animals to help out!!" Athena had obviously just thought of this and said it as if it was the most brilliant thing she ever thought of.

Crimson smiled enthusiastically and nodded, "Sure!"


Calling the wolves over Crimson quickly changed into her wolf form so that she could also understand them.

Crimson changing forms still took Athena by surprise even though she caught it before it was still amazing to watch. "We have to defeat this nefario in order to get our families back and some of us just need to avenge the ones we lost. My main way of helping is asking you all for help but we need to gather everyone that can fight. And any ideas or knowledge you have would also be very helpful. I don't really know any of the animals in these woods would you all be willing to help us pass this information and start gathering a group?" Athena asked the group of wolves hoping they would help.

The wolves looked at each other and then at Crimson. After Crimson gave them okay they turned to Athena and agreed to help. Quickly all of them scattered leaving the two of them by themselves again.


After they left Crimson changed back to her birthday suit and grabbed her cloak and puled it over her, "Well I guess we have some help now from the wolves. They are going to to look around for some help and tell us if they spot anything interesting. But you got all of that right?"

Athena giggled at the sight of naked crimson again. She couldn't help it, she was just immature that way. "Yeah, I got it." Athena said, nodding her head at the same time. "I was also thinking if we had some idea where the nefario are hiding or "making base" we could send a bird or someone small enough to go keep an eye on them almost like a secret spy." Athena said feeling devious.

Crimson clapped her hands, "Yeah! I am sure the wolves will come back with several different types of birds and we can send them out to different areas in groups of three's that way they can help each other when one of them gets hurt."


Happy with idea Crimson hummed as she began to put the rest of her clothes on.

Athena smiled it was all going to good. She walked back over to the log she originally sat on and sat back down. After a few minutes she was lost in her own daydreams about what it will be like when she finds her family and friends from back home.

Crimson sat down next to Athena without saying a word. Athena had become like a big sister to her and Crimson treasured her with all of her heart. Leaning on Athena's shoulder Crimson closed her eyes listening to the sounds around her.

When Crimson put her head down on Athena it snapped her out of her daydream. She looked at Crimson's head and smiled, realizing this was a moment for peace she leaned her head on top of Crimson's. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes just taking in the songs of the birds and distant stream.

Caterina woke up with a big yawn before walking out of the tent. She was surprised to see Crimson and Athena sitting together with Crimson's head on Athena's shoulder. Caterina giggled slightly and threw up some yellow dust to land on her wings. She flew over to the two and sat down on Athena's lap.


Spirit sat up and ran a hand through his white hair as he woke up. He rubbed at his eyes a bit before trying to stand in the tent. He sighed as he remembered the past day. He changed his look slowly from him to Alexander. He didn't want to but took a deep breath and walked out of his tent. He looked at the girls and then around, feeling uneasy for some reason. 'I bet it's because I don't know where that Madd girl is,' he thought with another sigh.

Crimson got up once she noticed Caterina fly onto Athena's lap, "Good morning Caterina!"


Hearing Alex behind her Crimson smiled and waved him as well, "Good morning Alex!

 

[katelynn]

"Well, good morning Caterina!" Athena exclaimed as the tiny fairy landed in her lap. Athena looked down at Caterina "did you sleep well?" Athena asked.


Just then Alexander walked out of his tent. Athen looked up and smiled, but decided to wait to Caterinas answer before saying anything to him.

Caterina nodded with a bright smile. She waved good morning to Crimson as well. She pointed at Athena with a questioning as if she was trying to ask how she slept.


"Good morning ladies," Alex greeted them and came walking around to sit on his own log. "How long have you two been awake?' he asked them.

Crimson turned to face Alex and smiled, "I haven't been up long. But we have been up long enough so that we have sent the wolves on a scavange hunt looking for other animals to help us!"


Giving a goofy smile and a thumbs up Crimson happily looked at Alex

"Oh, I slept great Caterina though I'm surprised I didn't squish you in my sleep!" Athena said answering Caterina. She looked over at Alexander "you know you don't have to be scared to sit by me, I don't bite" she said half giggling. "But yes, we haven't been up long but have been very productive if I do say so myself!!"she added before he could say anything.

Crimson smiled happily and noticed the wolves returning with several different assortments of animals.


"Wow...." Crimson went over to the wolves and gave them each a pat, "It looks like you have all of these animals to work with!"


Smiling Crimson looked at Athena waiting for her to work her magic on the plan that had made earlier that morning.

"Wow!!" Athena said astonished. She put her hands under Caterina and set her down in her shoulder so that she could get up and go talk to the animals. "Well, you have all outdone yourselves!!" She said to the wolves as she approached. "Okay, let's see we should divide you all into groups and discuss further attack plans. And some should probably be on lookout at night so let's separate all nocturnal animals over here and the rest on the other side for now." She said pointing to her left and right. As the animals shifted around, she looked at Crimson. " can you speak to all animals in wolf form or just other wolves?" She asked.

Crimson chuckled softly, "I only have a pact with my wolves... To talk to other wolves they would have to join our pack."


Changing back into her wolf form Crimson smiled with her eyes and sat next to Athena, "Just tell me what you want me to do."

 

[katelynn]

Athena smiled. I guess that was a silly question she thought to herself. " Okay also lets add all winged animals to the nocturnal group as well. Crimson can you take the rest of this group and work out attack technics and whatever else you find usable and ill take the nocturnal group and discuss night watch and flight groups." Athena looked over at Crimson to make sure it was alright with her.

Nodding her head Crimson gathered the day-light woodland animals and began to talk to them about protecting the area around them making sure that everyone knew their role Crimson went through it with them in thorough detail. She also remembered to tell them to return to the camp if something was a little strange or odd. Sending the woodland creatures off, Crimson faced her pack and noticed that it had grown slightly. Welcoming the new members Crimson thanked them for their support and told them to guard the camp making sure that no one came to harm having set out a outer and inner perimeter Crimson walked over to Athena looking to see how she had gone with the nocturnal and winged creatures.

Athena smiled when Crimson nodded. She looked at the nocturnal animals before her and began explaining what positions were best for which animals. After she was sure that all of them understood their roles she divided her winged friends into groups of three she sent them out in search of nafario. Not being sure where to start she decided to send them out in each different direction she had enough to cover the north, east, south, and west. Athena noticed crimson heading her way as the birds flew off in each direction and then explained what was going on after they had disappeared.

"I am done and I take it you are nearly finished?" smiling Crimson returned to her human form and quickly put on her clothes.

"Yup, that does it for now!" Athena answered. She walked back over to her log she was exhausted talking to animals was easy, but in a big group its almost like she would imagine trying to teach a group of children would be like. She leaned back on the tree behind the long she was sitting on. "I think I might need a nap!" She sighed.
