"but you laughed right? Isn't that good? Isn't that better than a frown?"


Smiling goofily at Athena Crimson tried to make a funny face but failed and looked even more stupid.
 
Athena laughed even more when Caterina yelled. She couldn't hear anything except the bells get a little louder and more fierce but it was amusing. The look on Crimsons face made Athena laugh even more at this point her sides began to ache from laughing so much. She fell to the ground and lay there trying to stop laughing.
 
Laughing along with Athena, Crimson held her sides from stopping them from splitting. This was all just way too amusing!
 
Caterina fell to the ground also as she started to laugh, holding her sides and her wings fluttering a bit.


Alexander only shook his head at the girls and leaned back against a tree.
 
Noticing a flame coming down from the sky Crimson stopped laughing and removed the tears in her eyes. What was that?
 
Athena stopped laughing when she saw the flame. She sat up and seen it land perfectly between Crimson and herself. She backed away from it on her butt since she didn't know what it was. She stared at it with wide eyes.
 
Picking up the piece of paper Crimson looked at and noticed writing on it, "It is a letter! From the people who called us here!"


(I am not going to re type the letter but you guys know it! ^_^ )
 
Caterina watched it with interest and flew over to Crimson and Athena to get a better look at it.


Alexander watched in confusion as he suddenly said, "It looks like it came out of the black cauldron..."
 
Feeling a bit relieved Athena scooted back towards Crimson and Caterina. " So these people are watching us, but not helping?!?" Athena felt a bit irritated.
 
"But at least we can believe that someone might be able to help us in the time of need," Crimson said happily, "They can be our trump card. Even though we can't see them they can see us. That way we can always ask them for help when we need it!"
 
"Do you think they would really help us?" Athena asked. She wasn't convinced she felt a little used. How long had these people been watching her? Did they let her sit around the castle for weeks wondering where her parents were without sending her a letter or anything?! There was a lot to think about and a lot to prepare for.
 
Crimson nodded her head, "Because mean people wouldn't keep all of us apart. We should be grateful for them because we got to meet each other!"
 
Caterina nodded with enthusiasm as she sat back down on Athena's shoulder.


Alexander wondered how trust worthy that logic was, how trustworthy those people were. 'Would they really come safe us?' he wondered in his thoughts.
 
Athena smiled at Crimsons words. She felt Caterina land on her shoulder with the tiniest of pokes and smiled even more. She was right after all, she wasn't alone anymore. Athena looked around at everyone and felt a sense of comfort. For now she was safe and in the process of looking for her family what more could she ask for? "I guess now we just need to figure out how to train." Athena said smiling at Crimson.
 
Crimson smiled at everyone trying to reassure them, even though she didn't trust them completely it is nice to have people you can rely on, even if you can't see them.


"Yeah we should just believe," Winking at Caterina as she said those words, "We can always try to lengthen the time span for our powers?"
 
" I don't feel like I'm much use here. Maybe I should focus on getting to know the animals to get more help next time. The bird said the wolves only came for you this time. I can talk to them, I can't control them. Without a bond they feel no obligation to help" Athena explained.
 
Crimson nodded her head, "Well because I am basically their alpha that would make sense. So maybe trying to make friends with some of the other forest animals? I can look after the wolves. I heard there were some unicorns and other animals in here somewhere. We can always all go looking together to find them and try to persuade them to join us."


Smiling at the memories of her pack, Crimson remembered over throwing their evil wolf leader who then became a beta in the pack due to her and the pack's kindness. They are nice doggies...
 
"Okay, that sounds good! I've never met a unicorn, but ive always wanted to!" Athena said with a huge smile. "Caterina is there anything you need to work on?" Athena asked as she looked at her sitting on her shoulder


(I'm going to go to bed its almost 2:30! Lol see ya later in the morning)
 
Crimson watched as Athena began to close her eyes and sink to the floor worried she rshed over but then noticed that she was only sleeping. Giggling Crimson patted her new friends head, "You work hard."


Turning to Caterina, Crimson asked the same question to her.
 
Caterina practically gave Athena a death glare as she threw some more pink dust and a giant lily came out of the ground. If it was a little she could make a flower but if she just flew the dust it didn't work how she wanted.
 
Crimson nodded and smiled at Caterina, "How about we work on how much you can grow a plant? Do you think we can make a different type of magic and break the boundaries? Try make you bigger? I know that sounds ridiculous but maybe you might be able to do some more stuff if you grow yourself..."


Thinking for a moment about what she said crimson shook her head, "No. We have to do something else I think..."
 
Caterina looked at Madd as she remembered how she had made her bigger. But she didn't like being big, it made her feel uneasy and off balance. She smiles when Crimson dropped it.
 
Tilting her head to the side Crimson tried to think but couldn't come up with anything, groaning with frustration Crimson faced Alex, "What do you think Alex? What should we work on?"
