RNG = Random Number Generator. It also may represent dice rolls, or anything randomly generated.


To color and change the size of text, you have to do a little bit of BBCoding. Because I don't use the Rich Text Editor, I can't really tell you what that looks like atm. oAe


But what I CAN TELL YOU IS THIS.


INSERT CHARACTER NAME IN BETWEEN


Size tags: changes the size of the text it is around. 1 is the smallest, 7 is the biggest.


COLOR: changes the color of your text. You can either use a color name (example, black, darkblue, etc) or a HEX code (it looks like this: #000000. It has a hashtag in front of a series of six numbers and letters). You can find HEX codes online for all sorts of colors. A lot more than color names.

I use a font generator to make the titles and I just keep it saved in a post macro.


Fancy Fonts and Fancy Font Generator <---- where I go for fancy headers. Generally I take either Cursive or Signature fonts ^^

Crit and OMG have good resources, so I won't add anything much else ^^


But if you want more unique colours, I'd suggest going for hex codes; just search google and you should find some. Though I tend to use html-color-codes.info, myself.


Or you could go a step further and make a graphic for your Mirage.


There's lots of GFX stores hanging around the forum somewhere (Creative Arts I think?), or you could ask one of us for one if you're feeling lucky and you think we're any good at GFX banners xD

Everyone's banner's are fantastic!! But wouldn't that cost money? (The rp site I came from had in game cash and real cash so you had to pay for art....)

The rp site I came from doesn't allow any transaction of money, if I remember the rules right. I'm sure there's always someone willing to do things for free though.

This site is like the polar opposite of the rp site I started in (though technically it was not an rp site)...most people made perfect characters so when an evil or flawed characters were added it was unique and I really really valued them since it was tough having a flawed or realistic character in an rp full of perfect ones. I always tried to snatch all of them together so we could do an rp...but in never did really work out. This rp seems to have a lot of characters who want to *Insert vampire voice* 'drink your blood'...which is really cool...and scary...but it also makes me value characters like Dante who actually want to do some good. (Unlike Mirage who basically wants food and to mess with around with Peacegaurd minds. Maybe eventually she would get around to a peaceful ending...if it was fun...and if she could mess with Peacguard before hand. I believe that Mirage lays somewhere in the middle...she is not really a person to care for those she does not know...but she does not want to drink their blood either...on the other hand she is often troubled by deaths, and moral's and sometimes wants to help...but never really thinks she would make a difference.)

But I do have a thread where I make graphics for people, on the site that I also roleplay on. They're not the greatest works of art (the GFX I've seen here just blows me away, in all honesty), but I'd like to think I'm fairly decent c:


Meanwhile, all my first characters were psychopaths or sociopaths bent on self-destruction or world destruction.


Fun times when you're with a bunch of roleplayers who want to foist their sweet innocent maidens on any guy, even if that guy stands a better chance of painting the walls with their guts than actually liking them back.

My characters went from baked cinnamon rolls to socio and psychopaths, and now I just make whatever I feel like (though the choice of fc also influences my decision).

Ahh, cinnamon rolls. Those fluffy baked goods are so very rare with me nowadays, ahaha. I should really stop making twisted characters and make nice sweet ones that I can't bear to angst, though I feel like it'll take forever me to achieve that orz

Then I do evil things in the rp like "poison" the water supply because I'm a vengeful god and the true villain of this rp. D <

You would be a godsend to Lioden @HeartsAbyss ...I would greatly enjoy seeing the reaction to that very graphic seen you just explained would happen if innocent maidens happened upon your characters. xD


Personally I have never made a totally crazy character, though I have made an evil one before...I get really into my characters and I think it would be be messing a little to much with my mind if I made a character crazy, murderer. Even my evil character did not really believe he was evil. I just do no have that talent or I am to chicken to see if the koo koo characters would leek over to me. The characters I have played came as a great surprise and the trials they go through are a surprise as well...I always end up learning something about point of view from them and sometimes even ask myself what they would do in such a situation since I'm naturally more of a shy person. Since I have started making new characters I have started to realize it is okay to have your own values even if they clash with another person's...and it is okay to voice those opinions as well.

One of my most hated characters went completely off the rails by the end of her arc. She went absolutely insane. Pretty much everyone who was in the RP with me hated her xD .

I hardly feel as though I'll be accepted very warmly when I try to cause grievous bodily harm to people's characters xD


My favourite OC (for the time being, anyhow) is actually one of my craziest; he's perpetually high, beds people on a daily basis, wouldn't know tact if it paraded before him nude and with neon signs flashing all around it, hates all forms of authority with a vengeance and has the social skills of a firecracker, which is to say that he's a loud and noisy bum //smacked I find exploring archetypes different from mine so much more interesting than playing my own-- not only because I know I could never be like them, but also because it gives you more scope to understand others in turn. You probably would be surprised to know that I'm pretty nonsocial then, if you were basing me off my verbose characters. I'm hardly an eloquent soul, nor am I a very disciplined one (like Pallas) or eternally cheerful (like Altair... just not in his exact way xD )
