Can you be an Assassin if you are a mage, thats what I was planning on doing.

Do you mean like a contracted killer? Or just...someone who happens to be very good at killing?


Also, did I write in the rules that you have to post seven days after finishibg the profile? That's dumb. I'm dumb. That only applies when the rp is actually open.


Edit again: I seem to have already deleted that rule. I never cease to amaze myself.

This sounds like a very interesting story. Magic negation drugs, hidden mages, I'm beaming with excitement. I noticed that there was mentions of armor that protected against kinds of magic. Is that still a viable option, or is the drug all that's going to give the Peaceguard an edge?

It's actually a story I've been developing for a few years, if you'd believe it. I'm glad it's interesting. : )


I don't want to give the Peaceguard too much of an edge, but I suppose armor could be something in development? Maybe give mages a chance to stop it from happening, or make sure only a limited amount of armor is produced?

Okay, I had this other idea for the direction of the rp. I'm thing that the SC is planning on somehow killing all mages and people with recessive mage genes all at once. Maybe a neurotoxin in the air or water or something. Some mages catch wind of the plot, and even some of the Peaceguard are opposed because of the moral implications or because it makes them effectively obsolete. Just a rough idea.

I would say something even more outlandish that would take more development and effort. The elimination of magic entirely. Since magic would eventually return to the peoples. even if it took centuries. Only way to stop it would be to destroy the essence of magic itself somehow which who knows, could leave to world wide catastrophes and such @Saccharine Cyanide

@Saccharine Cyanide Actually before I make start a character, one question. Would you prefer male or female, and, mage or peaceguard? I prefer mage but I'm not sure how many of each group have already been made or reserved.

It looks like there's only a female mage in the works on the character sign up. I predict that people will favor female characters and mages but that could be totally off. So anything is up for grabs.


Edit: I just double checked, and now there's two male mages. xD

Also, would you consider trimming the part where he can copy other mage's powers? I think energy redirection is powerful enough on its own, and we seem to have an influx of mimics.

Not quite sure how to change the picture size... EDIT: I figured it out


But yeah, I can trim that part of the powers. I was using Rogue from X-men as inspiration, but I can see that going a step too far. xD It's trimmed now.

Huh.. You can't take Dante's in accordance with your own Hubris xD His absorbing energy isn't something you can really see so...


But you can copy any of his projectile attacks for sure. And that's dangerous enough xD
