Guys...is it..is it odd when I look to the future..even though I hate Marriages because they cost money and I see them as saying "I don't trust you so I have to legally bind you" If I ever was to get married no matter what I want it to be with Goldielocks. Is it odd that even though we've only been together for about a year now I want to spend the rest of my life with him?

Like I'm someone who is scared of commitment because I'm scared of my heart being torn out. But... with him... I feel willing to push past my fears for him, when with him all my fears and worries melt away all I feel with him is love, warmth, safety, comfort, and happiness. I wouldn't rashly get married I'm just saying with him I'm open to the possibility.

@DestinyRed Like, in real life? I don't think so. Maybe? O.o Kids have wild imaginations, as I'm sure you know, and the fact that my elders used to find it hilarious to fill my head with terrifying stories of trolls that captured little kids and stuffed them in sacks and cooked them into stew! D: Um, but here's a troll! :D

@RegalWindstar Nah, that's not weird at all. It's quite normal to wish for a happy future with your significant other. I do it all the time.

Wanna know what my Elders told me about? (Old teacher xD ) the OGOPOGO!

There's a children's story my grandad used to tell us kiddies when we were little, about a lad who went into the woods to collect firewood. And then he encountered a troll, who wanted to eat him. But the boy managed to convince the troll, by squeezing a piece of newly made cheese (and saying it was a rock) that he was at least ten times as strong as the troll. Because trolls are stupid, he believed the boy, and took him back to his home as a guest for dinner. The troll then proceeded to make porridge for them both, and asked the boy to fetch water from the well and all sorts of tasks that were impossible, since the boy wasn't really as strong as he said he was. He managed to trick his way out of each of the tasks, though, and when the porridge was done, they sat down to eat it.

The troll wanted to see who could eat the most, and the boy agreed. While the troll was looking away, though, the boy adjusted his knapsack so that it was facing forwards, and spooned the porridge into that instead of his mouth. After a while of this, the troll questioned how in the world the boy could eat so much, and the boy took out a knife and cut a hole in the sack, making all of the porridge flow out of it, telling the troll that if he also cut a hole in his stomach, he would be able to eat more. The troll did so, and of course, died of blood and organ loss, and the lad made away with all of the trolls treasure.

Yeah, I didn't realize how gruesome that tale was, until I grew older. O.o

Oh xD My friend convinced me that trolls steal your socks, but only the left ones. I'm not sure how she got that crazy notion stuck in her head.

Then again she also managed to convince me that mermaids were real after showing me a monster week documentary. THAT WAS SO CONVINCING WTF!
