Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

Ellie looked at the mysterious costumer and nodded, "right away sir," she smiled and brewed a fresh pot of green tea adding two spoonfuls of fairy honey, then carried over to the man. "Here you go, I've never seen someone drink green tea with honey before," she smiled placing to teacup on the table.

Vincent discreetly nudged Hatchiin, gesturing to the new customer. "I guess we're open after all." He said with a wry smile. Trying to carefully slide himself off of the table, he winced when his feet hit the floor, sending a wave of pain through his sore body. He ignored it the best he could and began limping over to the counter, intent on making the customer feel as welcome as possible.

He noted with some relief that the newcomer didn't seem to have noticed the bloody floors and towels strewn across the room, or maybe he had and was just ignoring it. Vincent was thankful nonetheless.

He glanced up, his pale yet warm golden eyes (Imagine pure honey) systematically scanning over the clearly injured man, he grunted and picked up his cup, taking a deep sip of his heavenly beverage, waiting for the man to reach him.

Vincent made it to the counter, walked behind it and leaned against the edge for support. He then began his usual 'customer-barkeep' routine. "Hi there! Welcome to the Magic Brew, my name is Vincent, pleasure to meet you." He smiled at the man, holding out his hand for him to shake, ignoring the uncomfortable feeling spreading across his arm as he did so.

Ellie looked worried at Vinny as she helped the new costumers flooding into the resturaunt. Vinny...please don't push yourself to hard..she thought , scared that his wounds would reopen.

Ignoring the hand, Qu said, in a quiet, gruff voice, he said "Hello, my name is Qu, its nice to meet you too" with a quick grin.

Hatchiin and Craig both looked at Vincent with worried expressions. Hatchiin sighed.

"I've got a job to do, go...talk to people or something." Hatchiin said before walking away from Craig.

Craig shrugged. He sat a couple seats away from the new costomer and sipped his tea in silence.

Retracting his hand, Vincent smiled reassuringly at his coworkers. "Qu, huh? That's a pretty interesting name." He commented, as he began wiping down the counter with an old rag. After a while of silence, he began chatting absentmindedly. "If you don't mind me asking, Qu, what are you? I've never seen someone like you before."

"I am what's commonly referred to as a Kitsune" was all Qu said while looking down, once again sipping his tea.

Hatchiin pulled Ellie of to the kitchen for a moment. "Ellie! Remember whenever you said that you liked someone? Well, can you tell me? Pleeeese?! I'm begging you!"

"Oh, I've read about your kind!" Vincent informed him excitedly. He had, last week actually, though this man didn't look anything like to pictures his book had showed. He shrugged it off, not all demons looked the same either. "You're fox creatures, right? That's pretty cool. Is it true you can transform yourselves to foxes?" He asked, actually curious.

Sighing Qu shrugs, "Its true, just not in my case, you see, if you look at my tailbone, there are no tails sticking out are there?" He looks down depressed, "But, I would rather not talk about it". He shrugs, then goes back too sipping his tea.

"I promise... I can see you're stressed. Tell you what, I'll tell you my crush as long as you promise to tell no one! Will that make you feel a little better?"

Vincent nodded understandingly, seeing he had hit a sore spot. "I understand, I'm sorry I asked." He said, sympathetically and started sorting though the different jars of flavors next to the coffee machine. He sighed when he saw the almost empty jar of soul residue, remembering that the supplies they had bought were probably long gone now, if not destroyed by the hunters. "I've never seen you here before, you know." Vincent pointed out lightly, wanting to continue chatting to better ignore the pain searing though his arms, "Are you a traveler?"

"Look at me." She waited for Ellie to look up. She made fake vampire fangs with her fingers. She didn't blush and she wasn't at all nervous. She totally calm and collected.

"No hard feeling, and I guess you could call me a traveller, but I would classify myself as a seeker" Qu said with a shrug. "Hey, and for those wounds, have you tried pure honey, it works miracles".

"A seeker? May I ask what you're searching for?" Vincent asked politely, while looking down at his arms. "I didn't even know honey had healing properties. I'll be sure to try it at my first opportunity. Thanks for the tip, friend!" Smiled at him and continues his sorting, placing what was left of the soul residue under the counter. They didn't get much demon traffic here anyway.

"Make sure to with it with crushed cow bone and soak it in water or it won't work, and too answer your first question, I am looking for something very secretive, so, I am sorry but, I cannot tell you"

"B-because! I've known Vinny for most of my life! He helped me through my parents death, and never got mad when i messed up even when Ase did, he's kind and thoughtful and amazing in everyway!" she drabbled on smiling blushing twirling her fingers.

"And I've known Craig since I was seven! He's been there through everything! That doesn't make me shy about admitting it. Besides it's getting bad! You made one hellova mess with that coffee out there." She pointed at the door.
