Yes. It is likely that the green one is Ligier, another demon of the third circle. Just as Rykon said, he is a army of his own.

I doubt we'd have enough intel to discern that for certain, it's just a kind of poetic flourish for the Fae to start with the extremes of light and dark.

They are creatures fond enough of exaggerated mythos and legends to indulge in such things after all.

If I am not mistaken, Erembour is the fetich demon of the Ebon Dragon, while Ligier is of Malfias himself.

Yep and if we can permanently destroy both of those souls it will drastically alter the nature of those titans. Toun is capable of such a thing, provided he actually lands a solid enough hit to deal damage.

IIRC, Erembour is not the fetich soul of the Ebon Dragon. She is, however, the oversoul of both Alueva and Mara. Mara being both social spec and as good at black claw style as a solar.

Looks like Hazels dream was more on the money than I intended. Its starting to rain spheres.

Sherwood Sherwood
On a scale of 1 to 10, with one being afraid of being kidnapped and eaten alive, and 10 being happy to see a true hero, what would a sorcery think of seeing Raksi?

I hope we do end up fighting Alveua and Octavian again in this Edition. We'll have a chance to put em in their place for good. Not too worried about Mara given that she has only the one martial art and mostly social powers.

Up to you. It could go either way. She is a true paragon of sorcery, but she is also a true whackadoodle, and is capricious with her whims and is surrounded by a large army of apemen that have a fanatical level of loyalty to her.

I remember Eremour being called the herald of the Ebon Dragon.

Though! I dont know who the ebon dragon, mara, or alveua.

I know who Octavian is though!

Have you read Black Claw Style? That shit is scary af.

Gotcha! So like a 2.5 or 3.

OOC Ebon Dragon is the Empress' husband, and a true 11 on the badass scale.

Oh god, I hated that in 2e. I much prefer the idea that the Silver Pact managed to assassinate Scarlet.

Edit: From what I read of the lunar document, they also seem to be moving away from insane cannibal for characterizing Raksi.

I have read 2E's version and it was mostly about manipulating the perception of onlookers and poisoning opponents rather than dealing damage to the person in question. If she can't overcome our soaks, she's as threatening as a nursing babe.

Gwen and Hazel could thrash the crap out of her simply by keeping distance and she won't have a chance of disengaging from Toun to close the gap without putting in some effort. She also can't grapple an opponent of Legendary Size, the fight begins and ends with a clench from his jaws and a barrage of arrows and fire at her forehead. Not to mention Selket, Idris, and Two Mornings.

Remember, we are some scary monsters too. Ones that won the first war. We beat em once, we'll do it again. It's far from an unfair fight for us to take on SCDs with a little coordination and preparation.

3e Black Claw is in the core book. It is scary, as scary as any of the other styles. We'd probably be able to beat her if for no other reason than that Excellencies are busted, and she doesn't have one, but don't underestimate her.

That is partly why I'm confident. Demon's don't have Excellencies nor a good counter for onslaught and wound penalties. Those are the purview of the Exalted.

Charms aren't all that overwhelming in this edition like they were in 2E. Good strategy goes a very long way to humbling opponents like SCDs.

D. Rex D. Rex they deal aggravated damage instead of lethal, making the wounds near impossible to heal without a lot of effort and time outside of battle. During the battle itself its not as much of an advantage unless the opponent escapes. In which case they are vulnerable while recovering.

Hmm. So I could theoretically grind up some cold iron into fine dust and mix it into my firedust for some very potent results.

It wouldn't really be cold iron anymore, sadly. It'd be hot and impure iron, bordering on steel, which sadly doesn't have the same kick to it with Fae.

Ah, I see the success adder for Octavian. Up to 6m for 3 successes. Nothing too scary, but looks like it will make the fight memorable, so that's nice. He ought to be a combat challenge at least, being the token example of a combat-focused SCD.
