Name:

Dot, as he is dubbed by the people who take him in, most likely due to his freckles.

Nicknames:

None to note.

Age:

Eighteen.

Date of Birth:

February 23rd.

Zodiac:

Pisces.

Traits:

In a phrase, Dot is an adorable bundle of giggles and sunshine. Although he's never lived a good life, he's always been a happy boy, even when he had to curl up beneath a bench to try and shield himself from the rain. Perhaps it's because he's simply not aware that the life he lives is a bad one. He's never lived any life but the one he's leading, after all. He's a naive person, gullible and overly trusting, likely because he's never been taught the concept of stranger danger. This had led to him getting in a lot of dangerous situations when he was younger, but he always managed to get himself out of them without even realizing that he was in danger in the first place. Though he's naturally intelligent, he was never given a chance to hone this intelligence. He can't read or do math - hell, he can't even understand, let alone
speak, simple English - but he can usually find ways to solve problems using action and luck rather than strategy and logic, which reflects on his silent ingenuity. He's outrageously kind, as well as very innocent, and there's nothing he loves more than when someone's face floods with emotion, with raw affection or laughter. Probably because all he generally sees from people is disdain or pity. He can be a bit clingy, considering he hasn't had any long lasting bonds in the past and will naturally want to make any friendships he forms last forever. He has no knowledge of social laws or physical space, and is extremely affectionate. After knowing something for only a day, sometimes even less, he'd be more than willing to snuggle up with them and share kisses. At least, he would be if he knew what kisses were.

Appearance:

Dot is an attractive boy, though he'd probably be more so with a few steady meals. He's worryingly thin, skin pulled tight around the bones, with willowy limbs, small hands and feet, and just a slender physique overall, standing at a mere 5" due to a lack of nutrition stunting his growth. Due to constantly being outside, his skin is dark bronze in tone, with a spattering of freckles on his cheeks, nose, shoulders and the upper part of his chest, with a small birthmark between his shoulder blades that resembles a flower if you squint. His face is thin and heart-shaped, with high cheek bones and an upturned nose, topped off by his eyes, which are possibly his best feature. Beautifully large and framed by long eyelashes, they're emerald green in color, contrasting nicely with his tanned skin and dark hair. Speaking of his hair, it's dark auburn in color and very choppy, hanging down to a bit beyond his shoulders with cowlicks sticking out in every direction. More often than not, Dot is covered in bruises and scrapes, but among them, there are a few scars that will never fade. There are a few crisscrossing scars on his left forearm, as well as a small one near his jaw, a few small burn scars on his back and a long but shallow and faded one a few inches above his right hip.

Style:

Naturally, while living on the streets, Dot stuck to any clothing that he could find in the clothing bins. Mostly ratty t-shirts with outdated pop icons on the front and capris that were several sizes too big for him, giving him no choice to use a length of rope he found to keep them around his waist. Once he's taken in by the friendly family and is able to actually purchase clothing that he likes, he has a very "out there" sense of style. He likes to wear colorful t-shirts with pictures that he likes, such as a yellow t-shirt that saws
POW in comic book font, quirky leggings that were technically made for females (his favorite is a teal pair with the design of hip and leg bones on the front) and a pair of faded converse that he undoubtedly drew all over at some point. This was usually accompanied by a few scratch n' sniff stickers with especially pleasant scents stuck to his cheeks, and many friendship bracelets, since making them was one of the few things that came to him easily.

Romantic / Sexual Orientation:

Panromantic / Asexual.

Biography:

Unfortunately, Dot was born into a home that wasn't ready for him. His parents had him young, and neither wanted the responsibility of having a child. Due to this, Dot was heavily neglected, locked away from the world and not even given a name. He was kept trapped in a single room of his house for eight years with minimal contact from his parents, who felt guilty because of the way they were treating him, but didn't want to grow attached, because they were certain they were going to get rid of him. Due to the fact that they never interacted with him, and only ever visited his room to deliver meals, Dot never learned to speak, and wasn't given any form of education while he was growing up. Neither wanted to come forward and admit that they'd been keeping their child captive for all these years, and they knew that would come to light if they brought him to an orphanage. After all, surely the people there would ask questions. Why couldn't he speak, for example? So, the two made a horrid decision for the sake of their own self-preservation, and ended up driving Dot out to the middle of nowhere, the oblivious boy staring out the window with a wide and vacant smile, since it was his first time out, and leaving him there. Though confused, Dot couldn't really be emotionally damaged by the abandonment, considering to him, his parents were complete strangers. He wandered around, hungry and alone, until he found a town. It was then that he got into the habit of stealing. Of course, he didn't know it was wrong. He had no concept of money or the value it held, so when he was hungry, he took food and ran, figuring the people that chased him were just other hungry people who wanted the particular food that he had. Though he felt bad for leaving them hungry, he needed food too. He's led this life for ten long years, living on the streets and stealing all the necessities.
