Sometimes things just don't work out. That's the usual response when your child asks why daddy isn't living with us anymore. Sometimes things just don't work. Sometimes you marry too young and fall into a routine neither of you are entirely satisfied with. Sometimes you come home to find him in bed with someone half your age.
This story beings 6 months after the separation. In a small suburban town Katherine Day lives alone with her children, the custody battle being won in her favor. Across the street boxes litter the driveway of a house her ex-husband and his new fiance are moving into. She watches, arms crossed and face slowly growing redder at the two's arrival. How complicated could things get?
I've left this very open ended so that pieces of the story can be pieced together as we go along. Create your character/s and move them into our 'sleepy' suburbia. Will you be one of the children? The ex? His fiance? Or maybe a neighbor? Feel free to set up your own family
