Oooo~. Are you Black? I am, and I was curious cause your OC is black, voo-doo, you referred to slang. Not to mention mulatto popped up when I looked up Creole.Heavenchi Anyone really from Louisiana. It's also called Creole, but I prefer Cajun.
Ah I see. That's cool you know so much of your history.Heavenchi I am actually not black, but I have the Cajun accent. My family was actually some of the first Cajuns in Louisiana which were actually French who moved down after the Louisiana Purchase. Maybe before it, I'm not certain. My Great-grandma actually spoke French, but she forgot she knew it.
omg- I love gumbo so much, it's- yessssssHeavenchi I forgot most of it because I have such a terrible memory, but I remember that because I still hold on to that Cajun background with all my strength. I don't live in Louisiana anymore, but we still cook Crawfish and gumbo and Jambalaya. And my friends laughed because I unintentionally let my accent come out full force when I read History books(only history books).
