I mean if you look at his words, he means well. He's just blunt with how he talks.

Part of his character. Personally, I think it gives him a little more depth then Skyla. He'll say one thing but mean a completely different thing or end up unintentionally doing something bad.

Without Skyla there to round out his actions, he kinda can get himself into trouble. Not that he can't handle himself though
