[Labyrinth Land] LL Questions and Concerns

Everybody cool with me moving this forward, then? It seems that everyone who's posted thus far seems to want to do so.

So hostile?

Also I would like to preemptively declare the usage of 3 Voices of the people for my attack

Ah the conversion of heathens. Yeah let's go with that. If they refuse to convert, then time to bash their blasphemous brains out in a brutal beating.

Also heads up I revised my CS for missing stuff and that's how Im going to get a +3 to my fight instead of the two cuz of the free bonus you get to any 1 stat

Sorry for the late reply. I got a doozy of a reply up now to make up for it. Now is kinda the time whereupon I noticed how many of us are in this RP.

Well, I hope you like it. This mission is wrapping up now.

Going to repost the derived stats here given we've gotten a 1up. Save people the time of surfing through the book for them.

Hit Points (HP)

Hit Points represent your life force. They may be reduced by damage taken during Combat or

from Traps, and can be recovered using Items or Skills. If your HP ever reaches 0, you become

Unconscious.

Your maximum HP at character creation is equal to [(Warfare) + (Quest) + 5 + Level].

You start the game at maximum HP.

Capacity

Capacity represents the depth of your generosity as a human being. It is the maximum level for

the amount of Drive you can store.

Your Capacity at character creation is equal to [(Wit) + (Charisma) / 2].

You start the game with 0 Drive.

Defense

Defense represents how well you are able to avoid attacks in Combat.

Your Defense at Character Creation is equal to [(Quest) + 7].

Followers

Followers represents the number of underlings who accompany you on your adventures.

Your maximum number of Followers at Character Creation is equal to [{(Charisma) x 5} + Level].

You start the game with 0 Followers.[/spoilers]

Would you mind sharing the health/def of the enemies, Dietaku? In the event East kills his target he moves again. Would like to know in order to keep track of that. In addition, is the placement being mob in front, ogrekin hero in middle, minotaur behind? Something to clarify since breakthrough rules are a thing if we want to attack the latter two before killing the mob. Lastly, are we counted as in the enemy encampment? A flat+2 damage modifier to attack scores enemies if so for everyone's damage rolls against the enemy.

Excuse the metagaming but I believe I did six damage total to the minotragos; is this correct?

Depends on if you even got to him through the sea of mobs in the way. Hence asking about positioning and such. Also not seeing how you're declaring a critical here. You neither rolled double 11's or 12's. Dagger lowers the threshold of crits to double 11 or higher, but I miss anything saying you only need an 11 total rolled. Even assuming that isn't the case, you rolled 10 before warfare modifiers.

Movement

A character who wishes to move may move from their current area either forwards (towards the

enemy line) 1 space, or backwards (towards their own Encampment) 1 space. However, you may not

move forwards from the enemy's encampment or backwards from your own encampment. Moving in

this manner is referred to as the Movement Phase.

A character who has completed their movement continues to complete their action.

Obstructing the Advance

If an enemy character is occupying the area you are currently in, it is possible that you might not

be able to move forward. This is called obstructing the advance.

Compare the number of allied characters in that area to the total Warfare of all the enemy

characters in that area. If the number of allied characters is less than the total warfare of the enemy,

your advance is obstructed, and you may not move forward any further. However, if the number of

allied characters is greater than the total of the enemy's Warfare, your advance is not obstructed, and

you may move forward.

Breakthrough

If your advance is obstructed, but you still wish to move forwards, you may sacrifice your

Followers in order to force your way through. This is called Breakthrough. Breakthrough is treated as an

Interrupt Action.

You may Interrupt when you your advance is obstructed. If anyone on the allied side reduces

their Followers by 1D6, they can nullify the effect of an obstructed advance.

Dagger says a result of ≥11 gives crit. The part that's titled The Result mentions the rolling and addition of the relevant modifier to said roll and how success works. If the dagger specifically said roll.

Now on the obstacle issue granted without GM actually elaborating on positioning, yes I could be blocked. But as mentioned you burn some followers to just do it so not that much of a biggie.

Oh, and also, if I recall correctly. GM did have the Goddess get crit when the dagger roll itself wasn't ≥11, until the modifier, and the burning of followers, were added.

So there is precedent for this crit happening. Well alongside the rules for the dagger crit that Ixacise already mentioned.
