He frowned some and just held her close, resting his head back while he watched her. “I love you.... you won’t have to.” He promised quietly and kissed her cheek repeatedly.

Lily sighed a little and shook her head watching three what looked like teenagers approaching the house from the edge of the tree line, looking like they had a whole bag of powder before they made their way to the front door. “Oh goody, I got two out of three faces there. I’ll take this down to the cops.” She muttered. She’d been working closely with law enforcement to help prevent these things, laws had been quickly put into place to protect weres from attacks like this and vice versa and so she would make sure they got the clear view of the two faces.

Max nodded softly kissing his cheek gently "I love you too babe, we'll find out who did this." She muttered before curling into him more

Tommy sighed heavily and gave a nod shaking his head "This is complete bullshit." He muttered taking a deep breath "Let me know what they say I'm gonna go put her down for a nap." He murmured before walking back into the room right as Carmen got out of the shower

He just nodded tiredly and rest his head back, rubbing her shoulder gently while he kept her to him, falling asleep pretty quickly after.

carmen smiled watching him some while Darcie fell asleep in her daddy’s arms before he set her down and she wandered over to him, slipping her arms around him tightly, swaying with him. “I love you.” She murmured quietly.

Tommy held her close once he put Darcie down swaying with her some "I love you too." He said quietly stroking her cheek gently "You be careful if you decide to go out okay?"

Max lay with him the whole time not wanting to leave his side at all during this.

Carmen smiled watching him for a minute. “Tommy.... I had a baby yesterday, I’m just glad I’m standing right now. What part of going out of the house do you think is enticing to me?” She giggled a bit and kissed him gently, squeaking when he lifted her up and set her on the bed. ”That’s Better.” She murmured snuggling in close to him.

Lily stuck her head in and sighed a little. “How’s he doing?” She asked max quietly, crossing her arms over her chest and watching one of her best friends rest

Tommy laughed some and picked her up placing her back on the bed "I love you babe." He said softly kissing her gently stroking her cheek gently "Unf...still as beautiful as ever."

Max frowned softly looking at Kevin then back at Lily "He said his chest hurts." She said softly

Lily frowned stepping over and feeling his forehead. “He’s pretty warm.... they’ll have got out as much as possible but he’s still gonna be feeling the effects for several hours.... it wouldn’t surprise me if they were targeting him specifically.” She mumbled.

she smiled tiredly watching him and pulled him in close “Mmm.... still as handsome as ever.” she murmured, resting her head on his shoulder

Max frowned more as she looked at him feelimg anger rise in her at the thought of someone targeting him "Who would do that?!"

Tommy smiled happily at her and stroked her cheek gently "If you had told me ten years ago I'd be completely sober and we'd be parents I would've called you insane."

Carmen smiled a little and kissed his cheek. “I believe you did... many times.” She mumbled and squeezed his hand, “But we made it this far.” She murmured softly and rubbed his chest in circles. “I just need you to get through this part of our lives as well.” She murmured as she turned the tv on and saw Maggie on the news yet again preaching about how disgusting thei kind was and how there was no way they belonged there or deserved to be treated as equals to humans.

lily smiled a little at max. “A lot of people. Before you came into his life he hurt a lot of humans. He made quite the reputation for himself. And now he’s paying the price a little. If he’s still not good by this evening give one of the rest of us a shout alright?” She smiled and hugged her tightly then let her go.

Max nodded hugging her friend back and giving a heavy sigh as she watched Kevin. She frowned more though as she felt that familiar blood lust start to amp up again. She did her best to ignore but as he woke up she quickly curled into him trying to hide that she had cut her finger open to get something to numb it down.

Tommy smiled softly giving a nod "I'm not going anywhere babe I swear on it." He murmured quietly to her. He frowned when he saw Maggie on the TV amd shook his head giving a heavy sigh "This is getting ridiculous.."

He groaned quietly and rubbed at his face. “What time is it?” He mumbled, trying to sit up but shaking a little. He was still burning up and he felt really disoriented, trying to get out of bed, frowning when he smelt blood

carmen just nodded, sighing a little when Darcie woke up crying and she went to pick her up, cradling her close and wandering around the room with her to try and soothe her, kissing her head repeatedly. “It’s a hard life being a baby huh? Let’s get that diaper checked little princess.”

Max frowned getting him to lay down "Its around 6." She said quietly kissing his cheek gently biting her lip some "How are you feeling?" She asked quietly

Tommy smiled happily at the two of them watching them go. He frowned as Maggie started yelling about him and watched as she held a picture of him above her head saying he was the one they should be terrified of and if they get him then the rest will fall.

He frowned watching her some. “I feel weird.... my chest is on fire again.” He grunted a bit not even noticing she was trying to push him down as he stood up and stumbled out into the hallway, groaning a bit, hearing Tommy’s voice as he stepped out as well. “Tommy.... there was... I need to.” He was slurring his words now, getting a nose bleed and dropped in front of him, shivering on the floor but awake and staring into space.

carmen got her diaper changed then took her back to their room frowning hearing a commotion out in the hall and watched what was going on, going and setting darcie in her crib.

Max frowned trying to push him down but he was too strong. She rushed after him shaking her head "Kevin come back! You dont need to be up!!" She yelled gasping as he fell "Kevin!"

Tommy walked out of the room to get some fresh air but frowned seeing Kevin walking "Kevin? Man you need to be laying down." He said frowing as he collapsed and yelled for Danny

Kevin groaned feeling his body losing strength the longer he lay there. It was scaring him kids though that max couldn’t feel what he could. That much was obvious. He frowned as this time they moved the equipment out to him instead.

carmen came out to the hall and stood close by just in case she could help.

Max whimpered softly barely feeling anything at this point but she was still scared for him. She wanted him to be okay

Tommy frowned softly noticing how Max didn't seem to be in any pain. He helped Danny as much as he could worried this might be the last straw for some of the pack members about humans

Danny eventually got him stable enough to move him to the infirmary and frowned getting him set up watching max. “You don’t look too concerned.” He muttered and frowned some. “You don’t feel like you’re losing him do you?” He frowned but it wasn’t really a question.

carmen watched tommy come back to her and wrapped her arms around him soothingly “I love you.” She murmured to him softly. “Talk to me.” She murmured quietly

Max looked at Danny with a worried expression shaking her head softly "Not...not like last time." She said quietly going to Kevin and holding his hand tightly

Tommy held her close shaking his head some "Kevin....we nearly lost him again...and Max didnt look like she was in pain or anything.....something is wrong with her...its not natural." He muttered

He frowned watching her. “You’re able time attack him... you aren’t feeling him sick.... you’re a bitten who’s managed to obtain powers, you can sometimes sense a problem... we need to go back to the council and hound them until they give us answers.” He muttered

carmen frowned and swayed with him “I know papí... I don’t think it’s an immediate priority is it? For you to leave us to go to the council? Your little girl isn’t even 24 hours old yet.” She pointed out. “Stay here. Please?” She begged quietly.

Max gave a small nod and held onto Kevin's hand taking a deep breath scared she might loose him. She might not have felt the pain but she was still scared none the less.

Tommy gave a heavy sigh and nodded softly "You're right....we do need to figure it out soon though." He said quietly kissing her forehead and then made his way over to Darcie staring at her in her little basinet "Look at her little toes babe, theyre so tiny and chubby!!" He cooed in his high pitch voice.

Carmen smiled watching him. “She got big hands though for a baby. Gonna be like her daddy.” She murmured rubbing his back. “We have a family now. Finally.” She whispered, kissing his cheek.

Kevin came around again looking over at max frowning some. “What’s wrong?” He mumbled watching her face.

Max frowned some as she watched him and took a deep breath "You got up and had a seizure....Danny is helping you though." She whispered kissing his cheek gently before she let a few tears fall "We nearly lost you again." She whimpered

Tommy chuckled and smiled happily giving a small nod as he held onto her "Watch she'll grow into them and be just like you instead." He said happily kissing the side of her head gently

She smiled just leaning into his arms. “We’ll see.” She murmured quietly, “let’s leave her to sleep, I need some food.” She murmured to him quietly.

Kevin frowned and watched her. “This stuff lingers... for a day or so... I’ll be alright... why didn’t you feel the pain?” Heasked quietly.

Tommy nodded softly and kissed her cheek gently taking her out and going to the kitchen with her "What do you feel like eating?"

Max frowned more and looked down at the bed feeling a bit ashamed that she hadn't felt anything "I don't know....I was scared of loosing you but I didn't feel you slipping."

She shrugged a little and sat at the breakfast bar watching him some “whatever you feel like cooking.” She murmured softly to him and smiled a little. “What about some fajitas?” She suggested quietly and smiled at him some, pulling his face to hers. “I love you.” She murmured happily. “Daddy.” She giggled.

Kevin frowned some, worried about What that would mean down the line for them. “you should go get something to eat.” He suggested quietly to her.
