I do like that the hints we have so far is that our first conflict in terms of nation-building is going to be fighting these Heroic Rebels in a big wuxia tragedy of Heroes-fighting-Heroes. I already have some stuff planned with Yang having a dramatic monologue about how they could have been brothers, and burying him with full honors for full wuxia drama.

Or we might be able to diplomance them, but I somehow suspect that'll be tough.

I expect our scholarly chars to go full poet during the downtimes. Plenty of tragedies ahead, far as I know. So brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of a ride.

The funny thing is, my plan has always been for Yang to be the one who emotionally supports others through the traumas. It'll feed into his loneliness and sense of burden haha what no I mean throw up death flags for him Wait no, that's not what I mean, I mean have him be the emotional heart of the gang. There we go, that's it.

Will definitely have to put into motion planning some emotional catharsis bits, that being said. The best medicine for tragedy is heart-warming and triumph.
