Interestingly enough, I was considering a farmer with the Landwarden gift. Maybe your character could be working on the same farm?I’m thinking of making a Frenchman who doesn’t really care about the whole revolution, he just wants to shoot some British people… Though, I also kind of want to make, like a farmhand boy with that one writing gift
Oh I’d totally be down for that!Interestingly enough, I was considering a farmer with the Landwarden gift. Maybe your character could be working on the same farm?
Sounds good to me!!So I’ve decided to go with the Jersey Devil, as I remembered that I had a non-roleplay related story idea for the Mothman, so I’ll save all of my creative juices related to him for that.
Also because I’m so Canadian, I’m thinking of maybe making a wizard from the part of the New World colonies that would become Canada come down to help fight in the Revolution in a bid to have autonomy for all of the New World. I have no idea if this even remotely accurate to what happened, so perhaps someone more knowledgeable could come and give me a hand with this character’s lore.
Roger that!Alright character sheets. I’m going to try and get sheets for my two characters done in the next few days.
Will do!Also you can remove my hold on the Mothman in the characters thread. I have relinquished all use of him, so someone can pick him if they want.
I would say early into the war, but not quite at the beginning. And one more question, are we starting at the very beginning of the war, or has it been going for awhile?
Looking at the overall timeline, I agree that the Lexington/Concord starting point (the first official battle in the war) would be perfect. It's also safe to assume from that that we would be starting in the Massachusetts area and then letting things branch out from there.i have a few dates. after the coercive acts in 1774, set in Virginia, Philadelphia, or boston. mid April, 1775, just before or just after lexington and concord, massachustits area. and of course, june, 1776. just before the declaration of independence. we could also start at bunker hill or the siege of New York City if none of these dates work. i think lexington is the best fit.
