Fandom Justice League: The End

The male turned his eyes to Lexi as she walked up and immediately his cousin shot a glare at Diana. He shot Diana a look and said."Always got time for family, no matter who they are." He answered Lexi while eyeing Diana to see if she got the hint. He turned fully to Lexi and nodded. It looked like she needed to discuss missions. He didn't mind anyway."I was just finishing up with Wonder Woman." He glanced at Diana."Sorry...um..duty calls. We'll talk some other time. " he said and gestured to Lexi, walking down the hall."I'm guessing this is about Ra's. "

"Kinda that. If Will' current status, is anything to go by. We got some major players, back again," spoke Lexi. "I'll also see to retrofitting the medi-bay, for Will' condition - or atleast get some blood from the Blood Banks. Magic isn't my strong suit, so I'll leave it to you guys."

"It isn't also that easy, as I've been also tracking several missing scientist to Austria. Namely those who've been experts in new weapon' technologies. Whose kidnappings had the tell-tale signs of Ra's League of Shadow ninja-mark."

Superman nodded and thought for a moment. As concerned as he was for Will, he had a lot of other things on his plate as well. Maybe taking things a step at a time would be best. He wasn't the only one responsible for the entire league and he preferred it that way. He was going to encourage teamwork. "Speaking of blood..Why not hit up Jason Blood? He knows more about demonology and magic than any of us...if Etrigan is anything to go by." And then more bad news, by the league of shadows no doubt and that just added to his already piling stress."We should go investigate without the rest of the league... Considering what happened last time.."

"I think, I might be able to contact Jason Blood. He might know something about, yes," agreed Lexi with Superman. "As for Ra - I think, its best likely, that we start gathering information about him. We were caught off-guard once, and now another time with Will. Charging off, without what is waiting for us, is a bad idea."

"Best we figure-out, how much influence does he have now again. I might even give Batman a call, if that geezer is still cooping in his Batcave," muttered Lexi, the last part.

"Maybe Batman does know something." Superman agreed with a nod and folded his arms."The old coot is probably as reclusive as ever, Lexi." He said with a growing grin on his face."Dunno if he'd tell us much though, you are aware of how secretive he is right? I was barely able to get anything from Red Hood.." He said."Except a name and a Lazarus pit. "

"How about we go visit him?" offered Lexi. "Goodness' knows, he is still typing behind that computer of his. Might be a good idea, to get him to get some fresh air or sunlight."

"I can take us to him, might be best, if we could visit around now..."

Batgirl says nothing to the two of them and keeps walking. She did everything she could to help Will but it wasn't enough and she didn't see the point in delaying the transformation when their is no way to cure him. She didn't want to gather blood for the transformation since she is afraid that people are going to die being unable to get the blood transfusions they needed because of the league getting blood for Will.

She overhears Lexi and Superman talking about visiting Batman. "Maybe visiting Grandpa Bruce will be able to help me relax" she says with a cold look in her eyes from her failure at finding a cure for Will.

"Wonder Woman," Blake said as he walked up to her after her argument with Superman. "I want to apologize for earlier. Mother always taught me to respect my elders and she always spoke highly of you in particular. The strongest woman on this planet, she called you," he went on. He smiled to her sincerely; there was truth in what he said. He meant to apologize to her and there was obviously a light of respect for her. Wonder Woman was one of the few more powerful than his own mother and that list shortened when one looked at powerful women alone. In a weird way, Wonder Woman wasn't too different from his mother; both royalty from warrior cultures, both powerful women, both representatives of their people. That, however, is where the similarities ended.

"If you have a moment, I would like you to come see Will with me one more time. I promise I won't argue with you or try to guilt you like the others. I just have a question, and I think it's best asked with an example," he said.

Diana closed her eyes, beginning to get quite irritated by the entire situation. She thought of Will as sort of an attention whore, always doing something to try to get right in her direct feild of vision. It'd been that way since he was a toddler. 'mommy this, mommy that, look what I drew today.' She was beginning to think he'd gotten himself killed on purpose. Will IS dead. You wouldn't be killing him. You'd be killing a beast. Diana refused to refer to the future Will as actually Will, she had the idea that it was something different and inhuman, thus alright to kill. Diana glanced up at the Tamaranian boy for a moment. Appology accepted, I will awnser you're question. Although, I don't quite understand everyone's delima. Diana answered truthfully.

The pale eyes sharpened until they seemed almost metallic. The male actually relaxed somewhat however, casting an unreadable look at the higher demon. Then the softening eyes slid to the not, remaining unreadable. "Of the possibilities I was chosen because they thought that my more lenient nature would serve better to work upon a team that already supported two demons." His head tilted slightly. "It seems a wide choice. Had they sent Jasper, he would have put a blade through this boy's heart without a second thought."

Raising his eyes to Isroh he let a smile cross his features although it wasn't quite the comforting gesture. "Although you should not make the mistake of thinking that I am anything but an angel of the heavenly host. Were I not set to the position of the league and your team, or should the blood I smell on you carry the mark of the innocent, there would be blood."[/color]

"Tell me something, Wonder Woman," spoke Lexi, as she and Superman were about to leave - yet heard the insult of having Will called a beast.

"Have you ever cared for you son at all?" she asked, simply.

"I'm glad you understand," Blake said before he turned around to return to Will. "It struck me that we were all quick to just decide to try and save him or restrain him, but then something dawned on me," he explained as they both neared the lifeless body of Will. "At what cost? Every liter of blood we use could save a life. Every resource we expend could focus on R'as. In fact, half the League is more focused on one person than they are on the upcoming fight," Blake said, explaining what he meant. He looked over Will on the table, no more than a foot away from him. There were engineers not far off preparing him to go into a medi-bay, but for now, his lifeless body was on the same cold table it had been for the last hour. Blake then looked at Wonder Woman with a blank stare.

Blake lifted his hand over the face of Will, then charged a Starbolt. Purple energy swirled around his hand and the bolt inside it burned as hot as a streak of lightning. If he released it, it would travel just as fast as any plasma that crackled through the air and would have enough radiant heat not only to melt the face of Will, but scorch the table beneath him. "You are the only person in the room close enough to stop me. Even Superman can't move fast enough to deflect my hand from this range and even if someone tried to incapacitate me, this Starbolt would just explode in my hand and do the same thing," Blake said to her with a cold stare in his eye. It was the look of someone that was tired. Fed up with the argument and the red table. "Ignore her petty question," Blake said in response to Lexi. "Because I agree with you. Isroh speaks as if this is inevitable and everyone is concerned about the damage he will do as a demon. If he kills just one of us or one person - if he escapes and kills just one civilian - is it not innocent blood on our hands? Tell me right now that you think it is the best for the League and the Earth, and I will incinerate his head before anyone can stop me. If he is a monster, I will slay him."

Diana's gaze was cold, seemingly indifferent as to if Blake decided to blow her son's head off or not. However she was thinking about the greater good and not just Will. That is the point I've been trying to make. He is draining resources and will most likely kill someone. End him.

Isroh seemed shocked at the sudden transgression and change in attitude. But if you kill him how is that not innocent blood? He never asked for this! and he can be controlled. I'm in control of myself and if I can do it, he can! Isroh begged, not wanting to have to see someone who honestly did no wrong die so violently. Yes I do believe it would be cruel to force him to live like that, but I don't believe in taking away his freedom to choose. Isroh was alittle afraid to get too close to Blake while holding such unruly energy, for fear of blowing everything up.

@Sir Les Paul @9OClubs

Vincent tilted his head, making no effort to intervene although he did raise his hand to the back of his case, fingers resting lightly at the part between the straps. "you are find of forcing your point with a show of light and power aren't you. Would you really take his choice from him? Would you risk losing the most viable lead to who is capable of creating demons from trained Super heros?" granted, he might not remember, but then he might. And anyone capable of taking on a league member and turning him, was fully capable of turning average citizens.

"For humanity," Blake said before releasing his blast. It didn't matter what they said; in this moment, it was his decision, and the decision was made upon hearing the words of Wonder Woman. Blake released the Starbolt he held in his hand and launched it straight down at Will. Searing hot solar light in the form of fervent plasma energy was immediately launched down at nothing less than a fraction of a second with enough heat to melt through any terrestrial metal upon contact. The League wasn't being logical. They weren't focusing. They were letting their emotions get in the way of their judgement and the fact was, the Will that returned wouldn't even be the same person. Blake ran himself through the scenarios a hundred times. It was a simple trolley experiment. Pull a lever that kills one man or leave it be and let it run over five? Even if it was only a slight chance - and it seemed far more than that - it made more sense to save those people. This was the logical choice. Blake did this for everyone... even if they didn't want it.

It immediately struck an energy shield, having been set up by Lexi during the ordeal - silently having hoped it hadn't come to this. But instead, now she had a look of pure anger on her face - directed at Blake.

"MURDERER!" she screamed at him. "OVERRIDE CODE: TARTARUS. ENGAGE TARGET: BLAKE!"

Blake could then hear the sound, of machine whirring - as several chain-guns appeared from inside the walls, having been installed long ago to prevent any villain from gaining a foothold, in the heroes base - and acting as a secondary defence line. Now it utilized one of its darkest protocols: taking down unreasonable or dangerous League Members. Soon taking aim at Blake and unleashing a barrage of stun rounds at him.

Will's fingers twitched lightly, and Isroh took noticed. For humanity... Shit! Wait! You'll wake him u- Too late... but as the smoke cleared... Will was still there... Crimson eyes staring Blake in the face. No one had put the copper bands on him... He was awaken, at full power... and unrestrained. Will's hand shot up, catching Blakes arm that still loomed over him, grip tightening down like a vice, bone crushing grip and threw as hard as he could. Will then sat up and coughed, He couldn't understand why his throat was dry. Why his body burned. Will had urges he couldn't understand, but felt like he had some sort of sickness. His body throbed with pain but coarsed with power.

Will! Calm down. RAI! He's awake! Isroh called before he was suddenly grabbed and slammed against the table in Will's violent rage. But he wasn't being hurt. He opened his eyes to notice Will staring at him in slight confusion, he recognized him. Will, You have GOT to calm down! please!

Rai found her way into the med bay and blinked in confusion. HOW!? He wasn't supposed to wake up for another few hours. Rai struggled to pull Will off Isroh but found herself forced to back up as hellfire arose between her and Will. She jumped back, scythes drawn. Bozo here tried to kill him an it woke him up!

Oh god. He can't be a premie. We're all f*cked.

No we're not. He remembers stuff!

Will stood up straigh, tail falling back behind him, black horns that resembled Isroh's sprung up on his body, as the haze of death began to clear. Rai...

Will, Lay down. Isroh, go get him some out of your stash. We've gotta get him fed. Everyone out.

Rai eased tward the trembling newborn demon who seemed to be confused before he saw his mother. His eyes narrowed and he wanted to confront her about... somthing. anything. But he was freezing cold, his chest burned and his throat was on fire. Rai's cloak being wrapped around him made him feel just that much better. She helped him back onto the bed and pulled on some gloves, managing to clasp the copper circlets around Will's wrists...Will found himself struggling to move, but still in a vicious frenzy as Will came back with five liters of blood.

"Get out of here now!" growled Lexi, de-activating the chain-guns, and looking murder at Diana.

"Your a pathetic woman - and an even more worthless mother," she said at Diana and Blake. "Even Batman, who was more paranoid than you - wouldn't have killed another being."

"Get out, get out, both of you! Before, I see to charging you both with attempted murder!" yelled Lexi at them. "You attempt that stunt again, and I'll see to it, your taken-down and jailed!"

Superman immediately sprung into action, taking one of Will's wrists and pinning it down while gritting his teeth. Only releasing him when the cuffs were on him, he gave a sigh of exasperation. He then snapped his gaze to Wonder Woman with a bone chilling glare. It was one of those rare times that killing intent practically seeped off of him. He turned his head to Lexi and Batgirl."We're going to Gotham. Now." He said in a stern voice and walked past the group.

Jess sprinted to her room as Will awoke, grabbing her drawing for him. It might not work, her art might be destroyed, but she would do it if it would help. She sprinted back, running to Will's side. "Will..." She whispered. "Will... Do you remember me?" She gripped her drawing tight... Please... Please Will... She thought, her blue eyes looking into Will's crimson ones. Don't leave me....

Vincent had drawn his hand up and out when the demon rose, the blade shining silver in his hand. He had thought something like that would happen. Rather than the need to even shift his weight however, the situation was brought under control. The blade flashed through his fingers and then slid back into the sheath resting on the underside of the violin case. Pushing off the walk, the angel drifted around the edge of the room until he was leaning against the door frame, looking less than concerned about the entire thing.

Will hissed, snapping at Superman, his teeth razor sharp and well pronounced. He looked much diffrent. Airbrushed and everything about him looked fake. Rai helped pull him into a sitting position, deciding to let the others handle Diana and Blake. Superman, Lexi, bats? Would you mind going to gotham to get blood on your way? It's going to take a lot. Once I give him this we need a steady stream. Ask the hospitals for the blood thats about to expire or expired yesterday. She poured out the packet of blood into a coffee cup and the smell immediatly caught Will's attention. He took the cup and imediatly chugged it, finding it relieved his burning. Then Robin came in, staring him in the face. He smiled imediatly recognizing her. Jess! What on earth is going on? I'm confused and-

A demon.

A what?

Someone made you a demon. And I need you to help us find out who. Skylar found you in a feild, you're throat had been cut and you were injected with Windigo blood. Do you remember who Skylar is?

Rai was testing him, to see what exactly he did and didn't remember.

Yes... I know who Skylar is. I know who Robin is... Where's silithia?

Silithia died three months ago.

Will shook his head, however, he couldn't remember much else about her besides a name.

What's the last thing you remember before now?

Will thought hard for a moment. He went back through his memories, suprizingly calm.

I was dragged across a marble floor. I-I think the walls were made of bones and there were corpses everywhere! I-I remember these weird shadow people. They looked like apes!

Imps.

I-I remember a man with long hair. But thats all I can remember about him. Well I remember he had somewhat dark skin and a tiny bit of facial hair. Horns too.

Any markings?

Covered in them! Just like yours!

He was taken by a devil.

But which one?

No idea. I know at least ten right off the top of my head that fit that description.

Jess nearly started crying with relief. "Oh thank God..." She whispered, wanting more than anything to hug him, but knew that if Will was still... Well... Will... He wouldn't accept a hug. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable anymore than he had to feel already. At the mention of Silithia she cringed, but recovered quickly. "I... I have something for you...." She said, pulling the drawing out from behind her back. "I.... I drew this after you had been gone for three months... After I had given up all hope that you would ever come back....." She laid the paper on the table. "I don't know if it'll help... And I've been meaning to give It to you... But I never found the right opportunity."

The drawing was a dark, shadowed pair of people, one male, one female, standing high above a dark cityscape. They were standing atop a building, one crouched low to the ground like a cat and holding what looked like a whip of light that seemed to eat the darkness away, and the other standing tall and proud, cape billowing behind her with her arms at her hips. They were both looking at each other, the whip of light illuminating both of their faces. The boy was smiling coyly and the girl had somewhat of a smirk similar to the one Jess would have worn in a similar situation. The colors were dark except for the bright silver on the boy's wrists, the blonde of his hair, the blue of both of their eyes, and the green of one of the girl's gloves that was lit up by the whip.

Above them shone a bright crescent moon and stars seemed to dance off the page.

Jess remembered how she had locked herself in her room for four days drawing this and laying on her bed after the third month of Will's capture and disappearance, and she had only come out when the drawing was done and when she had run out of Candybars and soda.
