James Francois Academy [Inactive]

Daniel kissed back, parted his lips as the kiss deepened. After another moment Daniel pulled back, looking into Zach's perfect eyes. "We have school," he said as though it weren't obvious. He said it though because he felt like kissing could make them forget all about their classes. He stepped back a bit reluctantly and reached for his bag

"School.." Zach mumbled disappointedly, not wanting this to end. He picked his bag up and slung it over his shoulder, being more of a back pack guy than a locker one. He was pretty excited for the day to begin and to meet new people, and the gleam in his eye showed it. He looked at Daniel then smiled and squeezed his hand. "I'm excited but nervous. Are people mean here? I mean people are mean everywhere but mean in comparison to everywhere. As in, are they meaner than average kids. Unless you consider them average, in that case.." Zach chewed his bottom lip as he tried to think his way out of the hole that his mouth had made inside his brain, something that happened when he was nervous.

"Don't worry," reassured Daniel, lifting his own backpack onto his shoulder. "There are mean people, but there are also nice people." With one last look around the room to see if they were forgetting something, they went out into the dorm hallway and locked the door. Daniel led Zach down the hallway but once they got to the elevators, Daniel let go of Zach's hand. "Most people are nice. Most of then are open minded and respectful and accepting. Some are not. Those are the one's you want to avoid."

Zach nodded his head and smiled a bit. "Alright, you'll have to show me who to avoid though," he said, leaning against the elevator walls. The somewhat loud ding announced their arrival on the floor they desired and Zach stepped out, looking all around. What they needed to do now was find the office, and then head to the locker rooms. Zach sighed audibly at the thought of having gym first hour, he wasn't one for actually enjoying sports or any sort of activity that requires competitiveness.

Daniel led the way to the office. The secretary was a fairly young lady with red hair pulled back into a tight bun. At first glance she seemed harmless enough but Daniel knew better. She smiled bitterly to Daniel and said, "Haven't gotten into any trouble yet, Mr. Beckham? I hope you don't plan on dragging this young man down with you." She smiled a genuine smile towards Zach.

"New year, new me, Nancy. It's my new motto," he said, then under his breath he said, "Kinda like your motto, 'new year, new nose'." He laughed at his own joke and said, "My friend here needs his schedule."

Zach glanced over at Daniel with his eyebrows raised, although he wasn't truly all that surprised. The whole ~sneaking into the woods thing~ wasn't exactly something that a well behaved student would do. He couldn't resist a smile at the boy's snarky comment then reached out and gently plucked his freshly printed schedule from the secretary's fingers. "Thank you," he said quietly as he turned and walked out of the office. His schedule was thankfully one that wouldn't overload him.

9:15-10:15: Gym

10:20-11:20: Math

11:20-12:20: Lunch

12:30-1:30: AP Science

1:35-2:35: Modern History

2:40-3:40: Guitar

Daniel read the paper over his shoulder and cringed. "Modern History? Gross." Personally Daniel wasn't much of a history junkie, it was his worst class. "So, we have two classes together? That's not too bad. But gym'll be harsh. That's where a lot of the... jocks get together and... do whatever jocks do together." It was obvious that Daniel wasn't a fan of them, and it was true because he wasn't the best at any sports. He could run properly but soccer or basket ball? No.

Zach poked Daniel's side and smirked. "Well then be glad it's my class and not yours." He then sighed heaily as he realized that his first class of his first day would require him to encounter possibly the meanest kids in school. Although, it was bound to happen eventually, he was hoping to at least delay it for a week. "Man, this sucks. At least I wont be alone though." He messed with the strap of his backpack nervously.

Daniel shrugged and led them to their home room where they would be for the first fifteen minutes. It was only for today so they could see who was in their class and so they could get assigned lockers. Luckily their home room teacher was nice, Mr. Larose. He was one of Daniel's favourite teachers. "Best teacher ever," whispered Daniel, gesturing to the good looking man standing behind the desk. "Super hot too."
