Realistic or Modern Isle Survival

Beth rolled her eyes at Jonathan, clearly annoyed. She heard Xobic say something to her, aand she looked up at him. "I'm fine, i think, " she accepted the nutrient bar gladly, smiling.

Xobic smile back when she took the bar"that is good to hear I just can't believe we survived this what luck we have right"he looked up at the plane and seeing how it was hold up there by the tree it was an amazing sight

Sierra watched as Jonathan walked away, his light in tow. She thought about joining him, but instead moved to settle herself at the base of a nearby tree, taking her pack off and digging out her phone. She turned it on, setting its brightness higher, before fishing out her first aid kit. She glanced first to her feet, which had stopped aching and bleeding long before. 'I`ll treat those last' She thought, before stretching out her right leg, her eyes immediately going to the blood stain going down her thigh to her knee. She reached a hand up to her forehead, where there was a scratch with what felt like dried blood. 'I`ll have to let someone else check that one, if needed. Better treat that stupid cut.' She decided mentally, opening her first aid kit, adjusting her phone so the light hit it. She took out the pair of scissors that had been included inside, going to her leg and carefully lifting the material away from the wound, pinching far enough up so when she would cut it, there would still be some left above her fingers. When she was ready, she took the scissors, working them into and through the material, then continuing on to cut all the way around. When finished, she moved the material off her leg, then cut it down its length, turning it into a strip she could reuse. She set that by her kit, picking up her phone and shining it over the cut, and going on to set it back down. She moved her hand back to the kit, taking out rubbing alcohol, cleansing wipes, and gauze. After, she opened a package of the cleansing wipes, hoping it would be enough, then taking the wipe and cleaned the wound and the area around it, scraping the dried blood off. She set the used wipe down, grabbing an alcohol wipe and proceeding to open its package, then use the wipe on the wound. She carefully cleaned out the wound, disinfecting it with the alcohol wipes, clenching her teeth as it stung. After she used another cleaning wipe on the wound, she grabbed the gauze, pushing herself up off the ground a bit. she peeled the gauze from the roll pressing the edge just off the top of the wound, holding back any extra material in the way.She continued to wrap the gauze, going all the way down the wound and back up, then cutting it off the roll. She pressed the end to the gauze, then grabbed the material from her leggings, using it in the same way, but splitting one end of it so she could tie it off. When this was done, the material covered the gauze and wound throughly, the tie beginning right in the middle of it. She decided that was enough for now, as her feet would eventually clause over anyways, and she put the items back into her first aid kit, returning it to her pack and turning off her phone, placing that back into her pack as well.

[Kept putting that off. It`s done now, im happy and can move on in the rp xD ]

"Damn it..." Juniper swore under her breath. She had long since dropped her findings of twigs and branches as she aimlessly wandered, trying to find the crash site. "Joseph!" She called, awaiting a echo that never came to reply. "Joseph!" She called again. Silence. She moaned to herself as she resorted calling another name. "Jonathan!"

Joseph watched as Sierra patched up her wounds. He then realized the sting of his wounds. A stubborn cut on his temple that went down to the start of his cheekbone continued to ooze with blood. "Hey, mind if I use that," He asked, gesturing to Sierra's handy-dandy first aid kit.

"Hmm? Oh, the kit? Sure." She replied, digging out her first aid kit again, along with her phone, which she moved on to turn on once more. She got a look at Joseph`s face, seeing the cut. "Would you like help treating that? I know it can be hard to tell where to put stuff on your face."She finished, handing him the kit as well, after zipping her pack and standing fully up.

{Shooort}

Xobic got up and start to walk away"will I need get back to work on getting stuff for the shelter rest for awhile you need to gather your strength okay Elizabeth you look very weak right now."He picked up the stuff that he got for the shelter leaving his bag beside Elizabeth and he walked over to Joseph because he didn't see his sister."hay man how are you feeling."

Jonathan heard the call and his hand was bearing his ceramic knife again almost instantly, he knew how sound worked, her played hunters with his siblings and gone hunting with his father. He moved to where he knew the sound originated from, reversing the blade in his hand, he held up the flashlight, and then clicked it off before he came to where he knew the sound would be. He could see Juniper now, and he frowned, she was clearly lost. With a sigh, he stowed his knife, flicked his light back on and stepped into view.

"Get yourself lost did you?" His voice echoed out in a silky, oily tone that would send a chill down the spine of a hardened peacemaker.

Jonathan inwardly grinned, wondering what he could do with the situation. She was lost, he was not. She was afraid, he was not. He recognized the control he had, and he wondered what he could gain with it.

Juniper jumped lightly as Jonathan answered back. But soon after, she sighed with relief. "Yeah.. thanks, didn't think anyone would hear," She admitted embarrassedly. She walked over to meet him and gave a quick, impressed glance at his lantern.

"Yeah, sure, that'd be cool," Joseph thanked Sierra. He saw Xobic out of the corner of his eye and greeted him with a small nod, before his friend sat down beside him. "Well... I've been better," he replied, followed by a small chuckle.

Xobic chuckle"yeah me too hay has your sister came back yet cuz if I remember correctly she went to go get supplies and I have nothing your scent."

Sierra nodded to Xobic, before taking the kit back from Joesph and siting back down, opening the kit and adjusting her phone so the light shone enough for all of them. She took out one of the cleaning wipe packets, tearing it open and taking the wipe out. "Hold still." She said, then took the wipe, touching it to Joseph`s face and cleaning the blood off, making sure to be careful going over the wound. After she had cleaned it up, she sat back, placing the bloody wipe away and taking out an alcohol wipe packet, opening that as well. "This may sting."She warned, deciding to wait for a reply instead of going ahead and using the wipe.

With an inward sigh, Jonathan nearly let himself glare at the girl, but instead, he just smiled warmly, "It happens, But what are you doing out here on your own with nightfall approaching so rapidly?" his voice was still smooth, and oily, sweet enough to charm baby birds from their nest but if she picked up on the underlying tones, it would chill her to the bone.

Jonathan was bating her, trying to get some form of reaction. He wanted to see something from the girl, see how far he needed to push for a reaction. Of course, unless she was well versed in detecting social ques and micro expressions, she wouldn't notice what he was doing, how he was manipulating the flow of his voice. Most wouldn't, even his parents barely picked up on it when he had done it to them. Well, his mother always had, and that had always ended up with a lecture instead of getting his way, but then, she had been the one to teach him how to do it.

Jonathan would wait a moment to see how she would respond before saying, "The plane is that way. I'm going elsewhere though, I want to get my bearings, see what we have here before things go wrong." Inwardly, he laughed, "Before they go wrong, That's rich, Thing's are already bad! Oh the irony."

Joseph nodded and braced himself for the sting of whatever Sierra was about to reply to his wounds. "Yeah... Go for it..." Before Sierra applied the wipe, Joseph tried to squeeze in a reply to Xobic," Yeah, I haven't seen her either. She better come back with a truck pull of branches."

Jonathan's smooth voice sent shiver's down Juniper. She wasn't sure why, though. She wasn't sure if it made her uneasy or if it sounded rather attractive. "Uh... well, I found a small stream and I was a bit thirsty so... yeah," she finished, feeling awkward saying that she drank from a stream out loud. "And I didn't realize how quickly night was setting in and yeah... now I'm hear," She chuckled gently. She brushed her hair out of her face and gazed around. "Oh, and can I go with you? To get your bearings or whatever? I'd like to explore wherever we are, as well."

She nodded, then leaned forward, moving the alcohol wipe to Joseph`s wound, gently taping the wipe on the wound at first, all the way across it, watching it fizzle for a few second before carefully wiping the wipe from the top to bottom of the wound, waiting for it to fizz again. after the second fizz up, she grabbed a new Cleaning wipe, tearing it open and taking it out, cleaning the excess alcohol off. "I can`t really bandage it, without covering part of your face, including an eye." She said, sitting back again and beginning to put items back into the kit.

Joseph winced and tried to contain a whimper. "N-No, i think it'll be fine without a bandage," he said, reaching his hand up to touch the burning wound.

(Shorty McShortShort)

"I'm going to go explore I will gather more materials as well"he started to head off into the woods

"Okay Xobic. And Alright, it`ll burn for a while, that just means the alcohol is working. We`ll have to disinfect it again a couple times, until it heals, can`t risk infection, seeing as we have no clue where the hell we are." She said, closing the kit, turning off her phone, and putting them away, zipping her pack shut. "Im gonna go check on Elizabeth."She said, standing and slinging her pack up onto her back. She moved off towards Elizabeth.

Jonathan shrugged at her, waving for her to follow, "Yeah, but I wouldn't drink anymore water from an open stream. It's not like in the movies where the actors get treated for diphtheria and other waterborne diseases and parasites." Grinning as he turned away from her he began to travel into the jungle further, following the streams source. He was looking for a good place to set up a place to survive in until help would come. He sighed and paused, opening his bag he pulled out a cell phone, muttering, "Legless plane like that... wouldn't even have a satt phone... god..." He clicked it on and a shiver ran down his spine, there was no service, no information, nothing. He clicked through the different options and switched it to it's satt-mode, and still was rewarded with nothing. Letting out a sigh, he keyed the thing off and slid it back into the bag. He glanced back towards Juniper and said, "Were going to be here... for a very long time..." His tone was dark, and he moved away at a slightly faster pace, following the bank of the stream into the jungle. He would work his way in to find the source, or at least take a half hour and trail mark where he was, then make his way back towards the plane, which would be falling soon as it was, so he would probably hear the crashing fall.

((OOC: I'd say wait for a few more people to post, then @Melody Frazier should post the plane falling from the branches or I can do it if you would like Melody. I'm well versed in ballistic mechanics and metal strengths as well as what happens to a plane when it crashes and falls later.))

Juniper's insides went cold when he mentioned the parasites and diseases se could have gotten from the stream she drank from. Once again, he spoke with that smooth, dark voice, sending her mixed messages. Jonathan said they were going to be here a long time and her heart plummeted. In reality, Juniper knew they weren't going to be rescued in the first few days, but ten again, she liked to look on the bright side of things. If was now pitch black and everything was coated in shadows. Everything but Jonatjans lanter leading the way. like hell I'm getting back I the plane when I can't see anything... She thought to herself. Quickly, she caught up to Jonathan. Her eyes glanced nervously all around and her breathing was shallow from the sudden humidity in the air
Jonathan gave Sierra a quick nod, trying his best to Hide the sting. He reached up to touch it gently and winced at the sudden burning sensation that added to the pain her already felt. He sighed and closed his eyes, trying to see if he could sleep off the pain.

Nicole watched the plane move from the nose to the tail, from the left wing to the right wing. The tree, though huge, would not support the weight of this plane much longer. "Everybody, run!" She commanded, taking the leader role as far as the plane went. She was especially worried about the younger kids. The plane dropped, got caught, for maybe a millisecond on some lower branches as if warning the kids of the danger, then it started to fall more into a nearby ravine. It started to hiss and sputter, then the fuel ejected itself from the tank. "Well, that was close...and very anticlimactic." Nicole joked. "For a second, I thought it was gonna catch fire."

When he heard the crashing fall of the plane, he paused and muttered, "Right on queue..." He had a clear idea of where the plane was now in relation to the stream they were following. He took a moment to consider his options and looked to Juniper, "Two options here now." He motioned up the river, "Keep going up this way, find the source, which would be the best location to set up a camp. Or head back that way." He motioned into the jungle, "And head back to the crashed plane and gather up supplies." He looked up, and clicked off his light, letting his eyes adjust to the darkness. There was no moon, not yet anyways, but the stars were out, so he found the constellations quickly and figured out which way north was. "So... East to the wreck... or north to the river source." He shrugged at Juniper, his face taking an odd look in the darkness. Most normal human beings would be terrified of the situation they were in, but to him, it was just an exercise in logic and rational thinking, it was like his father had always said to him whenever something broke, or if he messed something up, "You can panic on your own time boy, Right now, You use that brain I gave you." Inwardly he chuckled as he recognized the stars, muttering, "Were a world away from anyone we know... God... Wonder if father will even shed a tear..." He laughed aloud at the prospect of his father crying over the loss of one of his prodigy. The possibility was there, but it was very unlikely.

Juniper didn't want to admit it but she admired Jonathan's self control and maturity. Her thoughts were interrupted by her blood running cold. Jonathan turned off his light and soon Juniper was consumed in darkness. The only thing she could really see was a faint outline of the surrounding trees and Jonathan's body. Still, she voted against the idea of traveling back to the crash site alone. "Unless you walk me back to the crash site, I'm not leaving you. Like hell I'm going to go walking alone in the jungle."

Sierra blinked as the plane came down, then shrugged it off, moving on to Elizabeth and kneeling next to her. "Are you alright?" She asked, not really worried, more of checking because she didn`t want to have to end up worrying about her later. At this point, she was acting out of fear of panicking, which would only make the situation worse. She glanced around, noticing Jonathan and Juniper were still out, and she could tell where Xobic was. She guessed Joseph was still where she had left him, and she didn`t see where Nicole had ended up. She returned her gaze to Elizabeth.

After several failed attempts of trying to get some rest, Joseph grew bored. He sat up and slid his backpack off his bag, He unzipped it and dug threw the junk he had stuffed inside. Soon, his fingers brushed what he searched for: his phone. He clicked it on and it's brightness nearly blinded him. With his eyes squinted against the bright lights, he flicked the bottom of the screen and the options menu quickly showed itself. He lowered the brightness. Before dismissing the menu, moaning and creaking caught his attention. His eyes drifted to the plane, snapping through trees and vines and plummeting to the jungle floor. Joseph dropped his phone and covered his face with his forearms, shielding his face from the leaves, dust, mud, and sticks that came flying from the plane's impact.

Xobic came back with a lot more supplies came back with a lot more supplies he walk over to small fire he started at the wood to it and poking it to make it bigger.

"I'm fine... i think." Elizabeth said, finishing the last of her bar. "Just tired and traumatized." She thought about her brother, back home, who would be waiting to hear how the trip was, only she wasn't going to be back on time. Maybe not ever. She sighed, "oh, i miss my brother." She said, very close to crying, but she was strong, and she didnt cry. Teenagers weren't supposed to cry. It would make her look weak, and wimpy. She didn't want that.
