Realistic or Modern Isle Survival

Sierra caught the lighter, then nodded to Juniper. "Alrighty. I have a list of everyone who came, im gonna set it here by this tree. When the others come down, we should mark them of on the list, so we know who`s missing and who`s not."She said, then set the paper and pen down by the tree she had been standing next to. She then moved off, pulling her phone out as she walked. It was soon to be dark, and any light would be helpful. She stopped, measuring the distance from the plane and her, to be sure the thing wouldn`t fall on them. She also checked there were no trees or anything that might catch light near. No need to burn down the place. As she was far enough away, she set her pack down, then moved around, gather dry items and breaking some thin branches off the trees. When she had a good enough stock, she turned to her pack, moving it and placing the objects in its place. She arranged them how her father had shown her, then used the lighter to light it, staying close until it was a suitable size. Not giant, but not to tiny either. She moved away, taking a seat close enough to monitor the fire.

[better let the others post too xD Oops]

With a sigh, Jonathan pulled the rigging up again, lifting the harness off the ground. He took a moment to stare at the plane. He wondered how long it would stay up. The front wings had been shorn off and the plane was suspended by a precarious balance between the nose and tail sections. He looked along the body, which was torn in many places, the thin metal had become coated in ripples. He let his eyes wander to where he knew weak points would be.

Just between the tail section and the beginning of the planes passenger section the plane was beginning to split in two. He sighed and motioned to Xobic, motioning to the back of the plane. He took a moment to yell out to the others on the plane still.

"You guys really need to jump out. My rig will work for the rest of you but..." He motioned to the tail again, "The planes about to break apart."

He glanced down at the people who had reached the ground and called down to them, "Get behind the tree I'm in. Don't sit right underneath the plane!"

Jonathan sighed at the stupidity of the situation, knowing the way metal bent and broke, it would be a few more minutes, but that was it, and the plane would come crashing down. He was just glad that Xobic had actually gotten the fuel shut off before the whole plane had burst into flames or fallen, at least now any fuel in the tank would be preserved. He knew the electrical shut offs would have stopped the pumps and in conjunction with the manual shut off the remaining fuel would be mostly preserved. He began looking around for the engines and the wings, then noticed the hole they had carved through the tree line to come this far, it would be some time until he found the wings...

Sierra blinked, hearing the order shouted down. she looked to Juniper, then to the fire. She quickly dosed the fire by kicking dirt over it, a little disheartened at wasting the lighter, but then she grabbed her pack and went to Juniper. She picked up the paper and pen, then grabbed juniper`s wrist, pulling her away from there and to a spot behind Jonathan`s tree. There, she released Juniper, and began working on a fire again. By now it was beginning to darken, the light fading. She moved quickly, pulling together more dry materials. This time, she didn`t use the lighter, in case they needed it later, instead sticking it in her pocket. She picked up two sticks, after pulling a notebook from her bag and tearing a few papers out, throwing them onto the pile. She used the sticks as she had been taught, setting one on the ground, taking some grass and placing it on top and rubbing the other one on top of that, her hand moving downward in a quick motion, creating friction. She smiled as finally the grass caught light and she grabbed it, moving to the pile quickly and setting it in, watching to be sure it caught light. She smiled as it caught then backed up, looking back to the plane and waiting. 'Must be close to falling. They had better move it, or they`ll go down too.' She thought, then tossed the lighter back to Juniper. "Don`t wan to waste it, may come in handy at some point." She said.

[Fast type but it works]

Joseph glanced over to where Sierra had exited the plane. Even though she was much smaller than him, he should be able to squeeze through. He heard the plane begin to creak and moan. "Guys, we need to get out of here. Quick. Find a broken window or come out through this one," With that, he slipped out and looked down. He followed the route Sierra had taken, jumping from branch to branch until he touched down onto the forest ground. Sweat sat like beads on her brow as he was more nervous than he expected himself to be. "Juniper!" Joseph called to his sister. She smiled as she came over to meet him out stopped in her tracks. "Wait," She ran from under the plane an then continued tho walk to her brother. She adjusted her beanie and the two briefly hugged.

Xobic work as hard as he could and makeing sure that people got down when he saw the harness again"okay we ready for another let's do this quickly people this thing can slip and fall any moment"

Nicole took a deep breath. "Okay, guys. I'm going next." She pulled her bag from the rubble and strapped it to her back. "Let's hurry this up. It really is starting to get dark. There's no telling what hides in this jungle." She wasn't trying to scare anyone, but it was the truth. She strapped herself in and shut her eyes, praying. "Okay, lower me."

when she got and he lowered Nicole down slowly and carefully Loring people down was taking a toll on him he didn't know how heavy they were."you're right we do need to hurry up and you guys down there you need to get some kind of shelter up do the best you can."he safely lowers Nicole down

Sierra nodded, kinda sorta hearing Xobic`s words. "Hey, Juniper, Joseph, give me hand please?"She asked the siblings, motioning to the woods and to the area the fire was in. She waited by her pack, to see weather or not they would choose to help, standing up. She ignored any and all pain that may be there, not really wanting to take the time to treat them. She had marked off Joseph, Nichole, Jonathan, and Xobic on the list, not marking Regal as she hadn`t really seen her.

(Adjusted accordingly, but has been shortened slightly)

"Sure," the siblings answered at the same time, sharing a small chuckle afterwards. They walked up to Sierra. Joseph looked goofily confused. "So, uh... What are we doing?"

"okay thank you for getting on that"he trend head his to the other people on the plane"okay next person please let's try to do this quickly as possible"

She nodded slightly as the two came over, the replied to the question. "We should make some sort of shelter. We need to get branches. I mean branch branches, there may be some littered around here from the plane." She walked over into the woods, towards the plane, but avoiding going under it. She grabed a medium branch, which seemed to have fallen from where the plane was hanging. She took it back to the siblings, letting it drag a bit. "Stuff about this size, but bigger works well as well if you can find it." She said, then moved to a spot away from the fire, but still close enough to it to see when its darker, also making it close to the tree Jonathan has settled in, to use it to help stabilize. She set her branch down, more like leaned it on the trunk. "We`ll use them to make shelter for the night." She finished, walking back to the siblings.

Malia sat in her seat, still strapped in with her eyes closed. Bloof had trickled down her forehead and crusted itself within her brow. The plane creeked and moaned as the metal begin to break. The sound jolted the small girl awake with panic.

"Shit!" she cried, coming to her senses and fumbling with the seatbelt. "Hello?!", her voice was drowned in fear, "Hello is anybody out there?!". It took her a few tries to get unhinged, but finally sprang up. The plane rocked and the metal squealed. Malia caught herself on a seat, grabbing her bookbag, strapping it onto her and tucking her jacket into the straps. Pain shot up her ankle as the teenager limp toward the only opening she could see before looking down to the ground. The view of the height grabbed hold of her stomach, causing her to wretch in anxiety.

Her brown, teary eyes caught hold of people below. " H-How do I get... down there?".

"get over here strap yourself in the harness here I will lower down to the ground let's try to hurry up we don't know when it will fall and don't worry I'll make sure you get down safely."He said in a calming voice

Malia's eyes widen at the contraption. He wanted her to climb into that? Swiftly, her head turn about looking for an alternative. There was nothing. She blinked at the harness before swallowing her fears the best she could and strapping herself in. "Promise you wont drop me?" She whimpered out to him and bracing herself for impact.

"don't worry I will not drop you lower you down slowly"he starts lower her down slowly until her feet touch the ground he looked around"okay next person to get put down on the ground"

Malia stood on the ground, looking up at the wreck suspended above them in awe. "...We just survived that...?", she turned to the guy who had lowered her to much safer ground, feeling weak in the knees from the adrenaline. She sat down, criss-cross legged next to this guy to avoid falling over in shock. "How many people.. y'know.. made it?", she asked, lowering her face into her hands.

Jonathan tied his end of the lowering device off to the tree, it was after all just for stabilization. He tripled the knot and then worked his way down the tree as quietly as he could. When he touched down on the ground he stretched, and glanced about noting the others that had made their way down. He pulled back and away from the group, glancing upwards at the plane as it's weight began to shift towards the nose. He counted out the people that had come off of it, and averaged their weights.

"Few more... and it'll all come crashing down..." He began to slowly back away, estimating the impact radius based on where it could fall. He was far away from where the others were placing themselves.

He motioned to them and shouted out, "Oi... You... Might want to come here..." He pointed at the plane, muttering, "It's going to come down... soon... teeter totter teeter totter..." He grinned, his head tilting back and forth as he spoke, his voice turning slightly sing song.

The airplane start to shake and slide down slowly he quickly look around for anymore kids there only one left but she was still unconscious he grabbed his bag and went over to her he recognized her as Elizabeth Thunder."Hey come on Elizabeth wake up we need to get out of here"he try to shake her awake anything he did was useless."It like I have to carry you out if you don't mind"he unbuckled her and set her in the floor then he cut the seat belt and tied them together he pick her up and put on his back then click the seat belt together so she won't fall down.He went to the door and then he jumped and caught a branch he make sure she didn't fall off too then he climbed down the tree when he got to the ground and walk over towards Jonathan.

Joseph nodded obediently at Sierra's instructions. Before he pushed himself off to the tree to go scavenge for branches, he saw Xobic in his peripheral vision. He turn to face him and noticed he was carrying as limp body. Joseph soon distinguished the body as Malia. She was unconscious and he gave her a concerned frown. "Well, good thing you found her...." He said quietly.

Juniper heard the creaking and moaning of the plane as she anticipated it's downfall. Quickly, she hurried away from the scene, anxious to build a shelter that she could feel at least half safe in. She wandered... and wandered... and wandered, picking up a few medium sized branches to carry back on her way. Suddenly, a sound caught her attaention: Water. She whipped around, trying to pin point where the sound came from, realizing how incredibly thirsty she was. Sure, she could walk back to the crash site and see if she had a water bottle in her backpack, but she was far too impatient for that. Besides, the water they did have wouldn't last forever. Juniper shifter all the branches she had into one arm and used her free hand to run it through her long, black-brown hair. The sound of gurgling water gradually got louder and not too long after, a small freshwater stream appeared upon the bramble. She bent down next to it, setting her findings next to her, and taking a few hesitant sips from it. She sat up, smiling at the relief of her quenched thirst. She stood up, preparing to head back to Sierra when she realized... She didn't know where she was.

She glanced up to the plane, seeing it would be falling soon. Ignoring the fact that one of the siblings hadn`t really gone anywhere, and she didn`t see where the other was, she turned, grabbing her pack, shoving the paper and pen into it and zipping all the pockets. Then, glancing around once more and leaving the fire, she, having heard Jonathan, located him and moved in that direction. She stopped once she reached him, saying nothing, but moving so she wasn`t standing directly next to him, settling herself down closer to the ground, taking up a position with her knees on the ground, her bottom resting on her ankles. After that, she simply looked to the plane, then to the others, waiting for them to figure out to get the hell outta there.

Jonathan sat down with Sierra, looking to spark some conversation. "Sierra, we've known each other a long time haven't we? I mean, we weren't in 8th grade together but funny how we were in every other grade," Jonathan chuckled, running her hand along the beck of his neck while he leaned back on the other.

Xobic set Elizabeth down around Jonathan"I didn't see anyone else on the plane and she was not going to wake up in time I'm going to go help build the shelter now."He walked away starting to collect supply for the shelter

Beth moaned, not quite sure where she was. She remembered reading "The Legend Of Eli Monpress," the plane dipping, but nothing more after that. She opened her eyes and let out a small "eep!" As she recognized her surroundings as one of the tropical jungles, she didn't know where, maybe a new one? "Hey.... where am I?"

Jonathan made a face at Xobic as the youth spoke of building a shelter, he didn't see the point in such a wasteful endeavor. He motioned to the plane, "Just wait for it to fall, then we'll have a luxury class resort that's insulated with a door, all we'll have to do is patch up any holes in the body before anything moves in." He crossed his arms over his chest, his face taking a somber expression. About that time, Elizabeth spoke up, and he glanced at her, "No idea, but if you look up, you'll see where you were." He smiled at the joke, even in her shocked state it would be an obvious sarcastic remark. Jonathan took a moment to move closer to the tree, leaning against it he unslung his duffel bag from his shoulder and unzipped it, pulling a small rechargeable flashlight out of it, he began to crank it to charge it up and then pulled on its neck, switching it over to it's lantern setup. With a flick, he pried its hook up and then latched it onto his belt loop before he closed his duffel bag and turned away from the wreck shouting out, "Im going to go look around, see if I can't figure out where we are. If your all inclined to leave, post a few trail marks from this clearing to wherever you go. I'll be back here in..." He held up his watch, it was a high dollar Citizen self winding watch with a digital display that fed off of a recharging battery. He had received it as a gift from his father, and it was probably worth more then two or three seats on the infernal plane, "About an hour, if I'm not back by then... Who knows. If you want to follow me, do so now, but don't expect me to slow down for you." He turned and made his way out of the clearing, his expression somber as the lantern on his belt lit his way.

stop what he was doing when Elizabeth heard her speak he walked over towards her with some supplies for shelter you put those down then kneel down beside her"how badly hurt are you because I got some first aid kits downhere if you need it."He took off backpack he unzipped and pulled out a nutrient bars and handed one to her."Here is something to eat Elizabeth"
