Realistic or Modern Isle Survival

Xobic finished the ties he needed to do to the seat's legs he wonder if it will work but he had no choice to question it he's probably not the smartest person in here but he was one of the strongest."Okay I got my stuff done, anything else you need me to do"he look towards Jonathan waiting for an answer he want to do anything to help the group to survive even if he have to do a lot of work it will be worth it in the end.

Jonathan paused, and glanced at the older boy, letting out an exasperated sigh he pointed at the vines, "Yeah, untie them, and bring them here, I didn't tell ya to tie them off dude. I need those ends still. Just loop them through the legs once and bring them back here to me." He said more slowly. Inwardly he sighed, simple instructions always seemed to get ignored. He stood up and moved to the flight attendants compartment, reached up, and grasped the rod that held the curtains in place. With a wrenching jerking motion, he tore the bar away, the strong stainless steel bar had been tack welded in place and it took the young man little effort to rip the bar free. He returned to the block and tackle and set up one final suspension bar, which he placed just outside the cabin.

Xobic untied them and loop them through the legs once then brought them to Jonathan he start to feel the baby shake a little"I am not be smart but I don't think we have much time we need to hurry with this."His happy face started look worried started"this will not be good if this whole thing comes crashing down."

Jonathan snorted, "Yeah, uh, go up front, to the captains cabin..." He paused, the captain was probably dead, "And... Find a fuel shut off valve if you can, should be obvious... We need to retain the fuel if we can. We might need it later." He had taken the last of the vines and finished his system, he called back to the rest of those conscious or aware, "All passengers departing please make your way towards the exit. It's marked by the idiot trying to jury rig together a pulley lift."

Xobic went to the front of the plane where the captain is usually located he quickly open the door and there he saw the captain lying on the Controls blood was everywhere and the smell of a dead body almost made him throw up.he went to the captain and lifted him off the controls his face was completely destroyed ignoring that he lay down him on the floor and started to look for the fuel shut off valve."Yeah here it is I have found it"he turned it into the off position then start to look around there was a small emergency axe on the wall."I will take that if you don't mind if I do"he grabbed it and went back to Jonathan"okay it is off Jonathan"

Junipers eyes trembled and slowly blinked open. Her hair hung over her face, clouding it with shadows. With a start, she jolted to fil awakness. Her breaths were shallow and warry filled her eyes. For she hoped when she woke up, she would just be back on the plane again. Not crashed, shredded, or broken. Just soaring through the sky, still on their way to their paradise. But when she woke up to reality, it was like a slap across the face. Her body began to vibrate and her eyes began to tear up, soon allowing a tear to drop down one at a time. "Nichole...." She wept quietly,"I want to wake up... I want to wake up...."
Joseph stood up. "Ok, we need to get out of here. We're in a plane hangin' from lord knows what. We don't know how long we can stay in here without this fallin to the the ground first." He walked over to where the plane was torn in half and grabbed a hold of a piece of the wall so he wouldn't plummet to his death. He looked down and it was a good 200 to 260 feet until it reached the ground. "Damn...."
((Off to school... Dot do too much without me))

"Okay, so, it's a maximum of 260 feet. How are we supposed to get us all down?" Nicole was worried about June especially. If Juniper went unconscious again, she'd be dead weight climbing down. "We need a ramp of some kind, a slide or something." There was always some kind of blow up slide or something on planes in case of an emergency, right? Well, this was definitely an emergency. "Juniper, can you move at all?" Nicole asked, still holding the girl. "Maybe we could..uh, break a chair off, strap those that can't walk in it and then tie the vines nearby to the arms to make a kind of elevator." Nicole suggested. "Then, the rest of us could climb down." It sounded like a long shot, but that's all Nicole could come up with.

Juniper nodded and shakily began to stand up. "Yeah... I'm just in a but of shock... That's all," she leaned against a seat and tried to calm hersel down. "Yeah... The slide sounds like a good idea..." Her brow was dotted with sweat and her eyes darted around, searching for her brother. "Joseph!" She called to him. She tried to run but tripped into his arms. "Juniper, thank god you're awake.... Thought I lost you..."

Regal listens to the other discuss ideas and sits by Nicole, staying silent. She bites her fingernails with nerves and pleads to God in her mind. She knows right now staying quiet is the best aid she can provide.

"we are too far up for the slide so Jonathan got a little plan already going we can use his way get down I think you work right man."He start to look around some of them with the unconscious"and we can strap on a unconscious person to somebody using the seatbelts but these people need to be strong why I volunteer myself to do one."

Joseph wrapped his arms around his sister as she fell bit his arms. He kissed her forehead then craned his neck to look at Xobic, then replied,"It's a good idea but I'm not sure a seatbelt will be enough to support someone. Especially this high up." Joseph pointed out.

"that's why we use the vine seatbelt to make sure they won't fall off me"Xobic pointed to the contraption that him and Jonathan put together" and I make sure they will fall, any which way how many is unconscious right now."

Sierra had chosen to sit to the back of the plane, separate from the rest of the group. She had a bad motion sickness and had gone to sleep almost immediately after the plane took off. She slept through the pilot`s announcing to stay calm and the crash, her head rest on the plane window. When they crashed, the window she had her head on had broken, glass dropping, leaving scratches on Sierra`s head and face. There was a particularity bad one on her forehead, right side, which was bleeding out, the blood going down her face in a slow stream. The only other bad one went down the length of her thigh to her knee, this was a cut/wound that she had gotten only a few days before and had only just started to heal. The plane crashing had jerked Sierra, reopening the wound, blood staining her white pants. Sierra had remained asleep after the crash, more of unconscious than asleep.

(Now to the current >.<)

Sierra began to her voices of people, though she couldn`t put a name to them yet. She groaned, pain searing from her leg as she began to awake. She opened her eyes, immediately realizing something was wrong and stopping all movement she was making. She attempted to unbuckle her seatbelt, but it had apparently been jammed and wouldn`t come undone. So, moving carefully, she grabbed a piece of glass, wondering why it was there, and, flinching only slightly as the glass cut her left palm, she cut, more like sawed. Grimacing, she continued to cut the seatbelt, until it finally broke and she was free of it. "What the hell happened?" She started, then looked out the broken window to see they were hanging in the tree. "We crashed??!!." She finished, both of the parts being only to herself. She began speaking again, this time louder, trying to see if the others would hear, "Hell, it feels like a train ran me ov--" only to have her words cut off by a sharp, searing, burning pain at her forehead. She moved her right hand to it, toughing it gingerly then pulling her hand away. She looked at it, seeing blood and cursing under her breath. She took ahold of the flimsy sleeve of her sweater, tearing some off and pressing it to her forehead.

Having to sit still in fear of moving the plane, the pain grew worse, her vision eventually swimming as she stared around at the inside of the plane. She groaned once more, this one from the overwhelming pain. Thinking about her backpack, which she had refused to put in the cargo hold, and the first aid kit her mother always had her pack, she tried to reach down and grab it, but stopped, wincing and going back to her old position. She waited out the pain, still listening to the voices. She could now put names on a few as Jonathan, Juniper, and Nichole. She noticed the pain had decreased, and she moved her left hand into her pocket, where her brother Ren`s photo was, and grabbed it, securing it.

She then, keeping her hand in her pocket and reachingdown, grabbing her pack, stood carefully wincing. Careful to move slow to try not to jerk or move the plane, she worked her way through the plane, towards the voices of the others. Stopping at the split in the plane, she took her hand from her pocket long enough to slip her backpack on. She stuffed her hand back in, taking ahold of Ren`s photo again, then calling to the others, her voice coarse and soft, and probably wouldn`t be heard. "Guys, your all okay, good." At the end of the sentence she closed her eyes, pain searing from her leg and forehead. When she reopened them, she looked for a way to get over to them, moving slowly to a wall for support.

(Okay, I`m obivously not novice, and not all my post will be this long, was just trying to catch up >.< And added the backpack as a last minute thought of my own usual packing strategies. Annnd decided to Revise and make it so sierra aint all that unconious enough to get closer to yall. )

Jonathan had been finishing the last few points on his block and tackle winch system when they had begun guessing at the height of the trees they were in. The level of overestimation nearly made him wish he had stayed on the ground and let the plane fall with them inside... He sighed and stood up, dusting off his hands from where he had been sitting on the floor of the planes cabin, tying off the last of the vines.

"I can see that none of your parents money has gone to any use..." He said with a sardonic tone.

He looked out of the plane and glanced down, saying, "Were maybe, twenty or thirty feet off the ground, No tree that has grown would support an airplane of this size at two hundred feet up, let alone two hundred and sixty... Besides..." He motioned to his lowering system, "Even if I could harvest enough vines, there's no way I could build a system that would hold someone for that distance in a short amount of time." Taking up one of the vines in his hands Jonathan leaps out of the plane again, grabbing hold of the tree he had before.

He quickly tied the system off and let out a sigh, shouting back, "Besides, Were not all taking the lift down, There's no way, some of you are going to have to jump out here and climb down, The planes going to slide and fall in the next few minutes as it is. You'll be beaten to a pulp if you stay inside when that happens."

He made his way back across carefully, making sure not to dislodge anything supporting the planes bulk. It was a miracle that the thing had even landed upright let alone in a copse of trees close enough together and strong enough to support the craft's weight. He grabbed hold of the vines for the system and held them up gently.

"Who's first?" he asked, putting them all to the first of his tests. His face held innocence, but in the back of his mind, he was grinning, waiting for them to all play into their own greed.

"Smartass..." Joseph muttered under his breath. His sister pulled away from his hold and looked at him worriedly. He gave her a concerned glance. He knew she shouldn't be up here for much longer. She wasn't that much a fan of heights. "Wanna go first?" He asked. Juniper replied with no words, just a simple nod. "Um... Yeah... I'm not sure I can stay up here much longer before having a panic attack." She shuffled up to the edge of the plane and looked down at Jonathan. "Uh... S-So what do I have to do?" She called to him.

he looked at the group they will will go first and he will go last to make sure everybody will be out there I came make the jump as well.''You guys should go I'll be the last one to leave I can make the jump easily all the weakest people should go first.''He said in a leader tone

Regal realizes she hasn't spoke in several minutes, so she suddenly gets up from her seats and sits a bit closer, making sure no one forgets about her. Biting her nails, the girl retrieves her small pack from the floor near her. She holds it to her chest and waits for her turn to get on solid ground. She does not care that the bag has lost most of its contents; she is too deep of thought to care.

[sorry to post again so soon, I`d like to let everyone post before I post a second time, but I have a bunch of stuff to do in this next week, so I want to get another good post out before I`m too busy]

Sierra blinked at the others as their words reached her and she sighed, as it seemed they didn`t realize she was there or missing for that matter. The pain had stopped, for now, and she had also found a way to get out of her side of the plane. Moving slowly, she went to one of the windows which had been broken and located a safe branch to use. Taking off her pack and shoes, she stuffed her shoes into the pack, tucked her brother`s photo safely into one of the zip pockets, zipped everything on the bag, and put it back on. She then stuck her head through the window, carefully maneuvering the rest of her body out, and grabbing onto the branch with the first hand she freed, then the next hand. Ignoring the pain as it returned, she dropped down to a branch below, landing with her knees bent and grabbing the tree trunk for support. She stayed there for a minute, waiting for the pain to lessen in her leg, before scouting out another branch. She continued this way, slowly making her way down to the ground, switching trees at some point in the process. When she touched down on the ground, she looked back up to the plane, checking to be sure she was clear of where it would fall. She spotted the others and Jonathan`s contraption, though she didn`t bother to call back up. Instead, she would wait below for Juniper or any of the others who came down. She leaned back against a tree close to the plane, taking her backpack off and digging out a list of those who had come on the trip, and a pen. This way, she hoped to mark off the others as they arrived, so they could keep track and figure out if anyone was missing.

[Not as good as my other post, but eh. As for the list, when you reach the ground just say you spotted Sierra, who made a mark on a paper she was holding or something, cuz I may not be here. Again, sry,]

Jonathan shrugged slightly, and motioned to the harness, "Well, the way it works is like this, You take this harness I've made, step through the two loops, and tie it around your chest, then you get lowered down like the cow in Jurassic park to the Raptors. Hopefully, you wont get eaten!" He said with a spark of glee in his voice.

The sarcasm would be painfully evident as he chuckled lightly before turning to the door, he took the end of one of the vines and took another leap out, he barely managed to grasp the branches as his hands had begun to grow slippery.

Shouting back Jonathan finished his directives. "Xobic, Be a pal, take the other guide cord, it's the loose one on the floor leading towards the cockpit. I'm going to play the long end and make sure things go well out here. If they wont step off just give them a push."

Jonathan nestled himself into the tree and glanced down below, noting that one of the others had managed to get out another way. He frowned slightly and disregarded it for the time being, not allowing his face to turn towards them and alert the others to the fact that they wouldn't be the first ones to the ground.

With a roll of his shoulders, he set himself against the tree's body and braced himself to take up half of the weight of another human being. The Tackle system would only place an eighth of the load on his hands and another eighth onto Xobic's hands as they would be lowered down, all of the rest would be on the two rods and all of the vines. If everything went well, they could lower a person down steadily with minor fraying to the vines, But every trip would be more and more dangerous, he estimated a maximum of five people could use it before something broke, and that was only if every one of the five was under a hundred and fifty pounds. He didn't really care if it broke, or if someone fell to the ground, he'd done all that was possible considering the situation.

"okay Jonathan I got that"we went over and grab the vine and got ready for the weight that he has to hold."Okay now let's go one at a time just did what Jonathan did and I will lower you down slowly it will be just fine"

Juniper took a deep breath before leaping out of the plane. A small squeal escaped her just before she grabbed the vine. Don't look down... Just.... Don't look down. W-we're not that high up. Juniper used her foot to feel around to the harness, terrified she would slip and fall. Eventually, her foot caught on something in which she guessed to be the harness. Slowly and delicately, she slid into it and positioned it around her chest. "Joseph! Uh, it's be great if you carried both our bags down when it's your turn!" Juniper called to him. "Will do!" He called back. She sighed and nodded. "O-okay, Jonathan. Go for it." She notified him she was ready to be lowered. To keep her nervousness low, her averted her gaze from the ground, no mater how close or how far she was from it. So, her eyes drifted into the treetops. Golden and red rays of light streamed through the leaves and onto whatever it fell upon. Dusk must be falling soon... It was around the middle of the day before the plane had crashed, so Juniper guess nightfall was a few hours away. "Hey? Anyone have their phone on them? What time is it? Oh! Even better, is there a signal?"

[Yeah, to fudge with waiting, no one else is. If anyone wants us to wait for them, let us know somehow though! My posts will be kinda half trying cuz I`m half asleep, at least right now.]

Sierra looked up, to see Juniper on/in Jonathan`s contraption. She marked her off on the list, also managing to catch something shouted about cell phones, time, and signal. She pulled her phone from her pack, happy it hadn`t been broken for only a minute. She turned it on, only to see there was no signal. 'Should`ve expected that, we crashed, god only knows where we are.' She thought, noting the current lighting. She looked again at her screen, to see the charge, and turned her phone off, not bothering to check the time, as to save on power, they might need it for light later. Stuffing her phone back in her bag, she looked back up, to watch Junipers descent.

'I wonder, how do they plan to get their stuff down?? That thing probably wouldn`t hold a human plus extra weight of bags. Oh well, not my problem.' Was the silent conversation running through her head. As she grew tired of standing, her leg beginning to hurt again, her bare feet raw and scratched from the climb down, she sat down on the floor, listening to the nature around them.

Juniper sighed with relief as she touched down on the ground. She squirmed out of the contraption and looked up at the plane. It dangled in the trees like a lifeless bird. Juniper frowned and her brows furrowed. "Hey! Juniper! Think ou can catch this?" Joseph's voice called down from the plane and snapped we out of her thoughts. His head poked out of the gash in the plane and he held her bag out for her to see. "Um, yeah! Go for it!" Juniper called back. He smiled to her and tossed her back down. It came faster than she anticipated and she stumbled back as the bag hit her in the face and then bounce into her arms. "Sorry!" Joseph called hurriedly back to her. "N-No, you're fine! Hey, there is a lighter in my suite case. It's in the third pocket on the left! Their should be a small box next to but don't look inside, alright!?"

"Okay!" With that, Jospeh disappeared into the plane and Juniper waited for him to toss her thins down.

Joseph retreated from the edge of the plane and per to where he and Juniper sat. He looked in the passengers compartment and slid his sister's suitcase out, as she asked. "Third pocket on the left...." He reminded himself. He stuck his hand into the pocket and quickly felt the lighter and the small box. He pulled the two out. Before standing up, he grabbed and extra pair of clothes to toss to her as well. He reappeared at the edge of the broken plane with Juniper's items. "Catch!" He threw the things down to her and she was much more prepared this time. She smoothly caught them and went to put them into her backpack. "Thanks!" She called after she did so.

Sierra watched as Juniper reached the ground, then as her brother threw bags and items down to her. 'Well, thats one way to do it.' She commented silently before actually speaking, standing up as she spoke. "I see y`all figured out a way to get people down. You got anything in that pack that might be helpful? It`s getting late and it would be best if we got something ready for the night, shelter wise." She directed her words more to Juniper than upwards. She had a few things in her own pack, but wanted to let Juniper do something as well. She zipped her pack shut, and replaced it on her back, wincing as she was standing once more. 'I really should treat these wounds...' Was what was going through her head, but she pushed the thought away, wanting to wait until they had some form of shelter for the night.

[shooorrttt]

Juniper embarrassedly put the box into her back pocket. "Um... N-no. But, shouldn't we try seeing if there is a town nearby or something? For all we know we could just be a few miles from a town or city. Not very likely.... Bit it's still worth a shot, I guess. But here is my lighter if you wanna start a small fire." Juniper tossed the lighter over to Sierra. "I'm pretty sure it's full."
