You attend a private school and are part of the choir. You are flying to a vacation destination when, suddenly, the plane crashes and your pilot is dead, but, you aren't the only survivor. A group of children ranging from 12 to 18 years old find safety on the island. Now, you must work together in order to survive, find food and build shelters. You must rely on one another to live until rescue comes. The problem is, the island is uncharted and now you have to form a bond with your schoolmates.

Joseph sat near a window seat in the plane, enjoying the luxury of the choir's private flight. Juniper, his sister, leaned against his shoulder in a deep, tranquil slumber. Joseph looked around. Everyone was really mind ther own business. Whether it was reading, listening to music, on their electronic devices, ect.. He smiled to himself and put his arm around his sister and looked out the window. It was gorgeous. Looking out the window to a vast, blue sky with a floor of thick, white clouds. He knew that the ride would soon come to an end in a short five hours or so, for the choir group was off to national competitions around the country. He wanted this peaceful flight to never end.

Joseph wore clothes that were rather comfortable. He wore some lightly loose jeans, and hoodie, and a dark grey beanie. Whilst his sister wore black leggings, a light grey hoodie, a white beanie, and white tennis shoes. Joseph found it amusing yet heart-warming how close he an his sister were. Close enough to where they liked to match clothing. His notebook sat in his lap, urging him to write on its paper and, once again, explore the thick jungle of creative writing. But, unfortunately, he had a terrible case of writer's block. He sighed and closed the book and neatly set it back inside his backpack. Afterwards, he let his head rest on his sisters, slipping into the same tranquil sleep she laid in. Who knows. Maybe they might dream and talk to each other through their dreams. Like a story he wrote once.

Juniper

Juniper snuggled into her brother's arm, allowing his familiar warmth to soak into her body. She had awoken around five minutes ago but decided to rest her eyes before becoming fully awake. She soon noticed her brother had fallen asleep as well. She smiled as she sat up, letting her brother's head rest against the seat. Juniper stood up and stretched her legs and arms. Then soon being on the hunt for conversation.

The plane took off from Seattle, Washington at 4:25 on Tuesday, September 23, 2013 for a vacation to Costa Rica after another long and successful year at the school for amazingly talented kids that are all part of the choir at their school. The ride was smooth and safe, until one idiotic mistake from a rookie pilot cost them way more than a nice vacation. "Everyone, stay calm!" The pilot ordered the passengers, all students, as he fumbled around with the nobs and switches, buttons and lights in the cockpit. One girl with light brown hair tied back in a ponytail was in the process of having a panic attack. For one, she despised flying in the first place, and this was exactly why. Suddenly, CRASH! There was one final scream from the pilot and then, silence. Nicole was knocked out at once, the plane hanging by the arms in the trees.

Juniper

The plane began to rumble, capturing everyone's attention. "What's going on?" Juniper asked, panic beginning to set in. "I-I don't know... Fasten your seatbelt." Joseph said out of concern for his sister. She did as she asked. The pilots came on the intercom, worriedly telling the passengers to remain calm, stay in their seats and fasten their seat belts. The plane began to shake violently and everyone's face was stained with fear. Joseph and Juniper intertwined their hands. "What's going-"

CRASH!

The plane crashed. Debris was flung through the air and there were whiplashes galore. The plane continued to be sliced by trees until it came to an abrupt halt. It's broken, limp, and shredded body hung from the trees. It's only that Juniper caught up with what was happening when she could see straight out the front of the plane. Suddenly, her vision went dark and she went unconscious, unsure if it was from fear, her wounds, or the fact she was just in a plane crash.

Joseph

Joseph's head dangled over his legs. Blood dripped from his forehead and landed on his jeans. His vision doubled as he lifted his hand with a grunt. It took him a second to catch up with reality, realizing what had happened. The plane crashed. Immediately, all his energy came rushing back to him. His head came back to its appropriate level and his eyes went direct to his sister to sat limo and unconscious. "Juniper!" He reached over to her with his left arm, only to see it wince back in rejection. "Damn..." The side of his hoodie was stained with fresh blood that oozed from a gash on his side. He sat back in his seat, trying to overcome the pain.

Regal is quietly reading a young romance novel. As the scene includes intense kissing, the young girl blushes and quickly closes the book. She glances around at the other students, worried someone was reading over her shoulder. Regal sighs and smiles shyly, feeling so immature.

Suddenly, she clutches her arm rests as the pilot starts to lose control of the plane. As her stomach drops, Regal holds her breath to keep from vomiting, and she squeezes her eyes shut. She grits her teeth and hugs her knees, overwhelmed with confusion and fear as the plane crushes.

Jonathan woke with a start, as he felt the plane begin to destabilize. For him, this was something that wasn't expected, he had calculated and expected everything in his life, from childhood until now. If he hadn't his family had. He'd always been taken care of, so as the plane began to crash, he braced himself, pulled on his seat belts and began calculating his chances of survival.

During the Crash... Probably low.

After the Crash, depending on location, Probably high.

He tightened the belt around his waist, pulled the pillow that he'd been given by the flight attendant earlier from behind his head, and then gripped it tightly to his chest. When the Oxygen bags fell down. He glanced at the one for him, and brushed it away.

"I'll keep my wits thank you." he murmured under his breath.

Then came the impact, and he held his head as far back as he possibly could until they came to a halt. He shuddered and relaxed slightly.

"Well... Damn... Guess I wont be home for Christmas this year ma..." He said with a sarcastic snarl.

Pulling the belt off of his waist, he winced from the bruising to his back, hips, and tailbone. "Great... Just what I needed... Bruises... at least it's not my ego..." He chuckled aloud at his own inward joke as he surveyed his situation.

"Shock... That's new..." He whispered to himself as he glanced out the window to the treeline.

He knew he was in shock, his elder sister was a psychologist and his elder brother was a doctor, and he'd been their experiment since day one. But he was the family jewel, The Metallurgist to carry on the family tradition, His father had put a hammer in his hand since before he could walk, and he had made metal sing for him since the first hammer blow.

"Reminiscing... That's... one way to handle it..." He muttered, realizing what his mind was doing, going over the facts of his life.

"I'm not dead..." he whispered, kicking the seat in front of him, "Just in a bloody plane crash!" He shouted as the shock slowly began to wear on him.

Jonathan was doing his best to stay calm, but this situation... He'd flown many times, but this was the first time he'd ever crashed, and so his system was in a fully shocked state of disbelief and terror as well as pain from the jarring impact. But at least he was conscious...

Regal blinks her eyes open, startled by the taste of blood on her lips. Shards of glass are stuck in her forehead and right temple, but adrenaline from the crash blocks the pain. She feels around for the cause of blood and gently pulls the glass from her skin. By feeling the wounds, Regal can tell the injury is not as bad as the blood makes them seem. Nausea hits the girl in a wave, and she vomits into the broken seat beside her. Her brain realizes what has happened, and Regal glances around in fear. Seeing other students with injuries and blank faces makes her vision spin.

Regal pinches the bridge of her nose to try to think straight and silent tears roll down her cheeks. Her other hand fumbles about, trying to release her body from her seat belt.

With a sigh Jonathan pulled himself out of his seat and pulled open the overhead compartment. With a flick, he pulled his duffel bag, his carry on luggage out of the comparment and unzipped it, he slipped his right hand into the bag and pulled out a rolled up leather scroll case, and tied it onto his waist, wrapping it's tie string through two of his belt loops to keep it stable. Zipping the bag shut he slid out of his seat and looked back at the passenger cabin, letting out a whistle he surveys the damage. The electrical was failing fast and it wouldn't be long until the entire plane was in darkness.

"Anyone need a hand?" he asked, his tone arrogant at best, the look on his face read even worse to anyone who was aware enough to look.

Joseph

With a grunt, Joseph unbuckled himself and stumbled out of his seat, doing nothing to aid the pain. His sister was still unconscious. He looked around and noticed Jonathan was already up and at it. His tone was painfully arrogant and it made Joseph reluctant to ask for his assistance. With a sigh, Joseph faced his sister and began fiddling with her seat beaky buckle until he hear the familiar click. He caught her before she fell out her seat like he did. He picked her up bridal style, his left arm holding up her upper back and her arms, and his right arm supporting her legs by having her legpit rest on his forearm. She shuffled out from the rower where he and Juniper were sitting and out into the spacious isle of the plane. He propped his leg up the side f a seat. Using his knee to replace his right arm, he used to right arm to reach up into the passengers compartments and got out Juniper's backpack, along with his own. "Jonathan," Joseph called to him, setting his foot down on the ground and having his right arm support his sister again,"Anyone else up?"

Nicole gasped as she woke not long after the crash. Her eyes bulged out of fear as she looked around, thinking that everyone else was dead. "Wh-Who's there?" She coughed due to the smoke and dust around her. "Guys, is anyone else alive?" Her fingers fussed over her seat belt until she was released from her seat. Being careful with her movement, because the plane was in a tree, she timidly moved from her seat, ignoring her luggage until she saw movement. "Oh, good! You guys are alive!"

Jonathan looked over, hearing Nichole's voice. He smiled and gently set his sister down in a seat. He rushed over to greet her. "T-Thank God, you're alive. When I woke up, I... I thought everyone was dead. So far I've only seen you, Juniper, and Jonathan. Mind keeping and eye on my sister until she wakes up? I was gonna go look and see if I could find everyone else."

Regal stumbles to her feet, eager to follow the voices she heard. However, a snack cart has been jammed right in her path. She tries to shove it away, but the object weighs a couple of hundred pounds. She huffs out a breath of panic and attempts to climb over it but quickly loses her inch of success.

"I'm over here! Can someone help, please! The cart is in my way..!"

The girl tries to shout, but her voice is still pretty mild. She isn't used to drawing attention to herself. That is why she enjoys choir, she can sing with a large group without being the center of attention.

"Regal?" Joseph echoed his thoughts. He turned to face where the plead came from. There he saw Regal's head barely peeking over a snack cart. He chuckled lightly as he made his way over to the blockage. "Here.." He grabbed the handles on the other en of the cart and breezily moved it out of the young girl's way. There stood Regal with cuts and bruises. He knelt down to her height and hugged her. She was only thirteen and was so small for her age. It would have been devastating if she were to die, same goes for all the other choir members.

Regal hugs Joseph tightly and peers over his shoulder at the damage of the plane. She shutters and bites her lip. She believes this just a bad dream; tomorrow she'll wake up well-rested and in perfect health. She pinches her arm, only to feel a sharp pain from pinching a recent;y formed bruise.

"Is...Is someone going to rescue us? They'll realize we did not make it and come find us, right?" Her voice is only a bit louder than a whisper, but she does not try to raise it.

When the crash was happening.Xobic was locked in the restroom because he had to go on any trip his bladder just seems to shrink during all the trips. The pilots came on the intercom, worriedly telling the passengers to remain calm, stay in their seats and fasten their seat belts so he tried to leave the restroom. But then CRASH!he bounced off all the walls and fell unconscious.

And now when most of the people awake.Xobic woke up and stumbles to his feet, his whole body felt sore and bruised but nothing broken and he had cuts here and there. He put his hand on the door handle then he unlocked it and try to open it but without success there was something big and heavy blocking the door."Holler if you're dead!"he yelled loudly hoping that someone heard him if anybody was alive but he went back to try to open the door.

Joseph nodded. "Of course...," he reassured her,"But until then..." He pulled back to look at her," we have to stay together an day safe." He looked around, his eyes searched for a first aid cabinet to tend to Regal and his wounds. "Aha." He whispered triumphantly as he pulled out a drawer in the wall, happy to find two boxes of first aid supplies. "Would you like some help with your wounds?" He offered.

Regal takes on of the boxes from Joseph's hands.

"No, thank you."

She carefully searches the kit for ointment and band-aids and applies them to each of the cuts on her forehead caused by the glass shards. During her quiet movements she hears a new voice from the back half of the plane. She creases her eyebrows and points towards the sound.

"Joseph...I think someone is back there..."

She starts to walk toward the voice, trying not to look at her surroundings of destruction and confusion.

Xobic put his ear to the door he could have heard footsteps people were alive and they were out there well he was stuck in here.he started to bang on the door so someone well hear him."Hey can someone get over here I'm stuck back here"he try open up the door again this time he cracked it but only by a little he cannot even see out of it

Although Regal is not very strong at all, she notices a lot of the objects and plane pieces in front of the door are pretty small. She begins to move the smaller items, once she realizes that is where the person is stuck.

She raises her soft voice a bit, hoping he--assumed from the voice tone--can hear her.

"Are you alright? I think you may...be able to squeeze out...in a bit.."

She continues to move and push things from the door, slowed by heavier items.

Nicole stumbled over to Juniper and gently took her hand, trying not to break down and cry if she could avoid it. "June, stay awake, okay?" She tried shaking the girl awake. The smell in the plane was awful. "God! We have to at least get out of this plane!" She found herself complaining, though the situation was completely serious. "Everyone, stay awake!" Againa, she shook Juniper. "Come on, June."

Xobic heard Regal he sigh in relief that someone heard him"okay thank you Regal I wish I could be out there helping you but as you can see I'm kinda stuck."He laughed a bit trying to cheer up the mood of her in the other people that can hear because he was not worried stuff like this doesn't get him down."okay I'm going to try now please step away I do not want to hurt you"he waited for her to step away then he pushed the door with all of his strength the door opened up enough for him to slide through.he started inches way through when he got out the hug her."Thank you."

Jonathan took a moment to consider things. He had a luggage in the storage compartment, as well as a few pieces of equipment, but that was in the lower hold of the plane. He sighed and took a moment to consider things before he slid over to the door, avoiding anyone else in the cabin. Taking a precaution or two, he grasped the release hatch and disengaged it, then threw his weight against it. The door popped open and he pulled back as it flew wide.

Jonathan snorted, and looked out at the predicament they were in. He glanced back to the others saying, "Hey uh... Not to cause a..." He paused, and considered what he was about to do. He shook his head and stepped out towards the door, looking around, he muttered, quietly, "Like a barrel of monkeys... awesome..."

They were suspended, off the ground, just waiting to slip, for enough weight to shift in the plane for it all to come crashing down. He sighed and glanced around, taking stock of the canopy, the structure of the trees, and the other foliage. There was a tree untouched by the plane, far enough away that it wasn't touching any of the other trees touching the plane and with enough branches that it was easily climbed. He took a slight run and a leap at it, and landed easily in the branches, catching himself, muttering, "Well, that wasn't so hard." He began to lower himself to the ground slowly, muttering, "Like being back home... just the wrong kind of trees..."

Regal grins slightly, despite the situation and hugs Xobic back. She is a bit embarrassed that she did not recognize his voice through the door, but she lets the worry slide away.

The girl turns back towards Joseph and the others and starts leading Xobic over.

"We found some first aid kits if you need to use them."

She pushes her hair behind her ear, and gasps at the sight of Jonathon suddenly jumping from the remains of the plane. She stares at the open door with wide eyes.

Xobic followed Regal then he saw Jonathan jump out he went towards the door and stopped in front of it then look outward and saw him on the ground."Hay Jonathan is there any way down don't think anybody else can do that easily and soon I'll be dropping the luggage to you okay you might need to catch it."He turned around to the group and went back to the back it was still crowded with the small stuff you can clear it easily so he started on that

Jonathan was on the ground by the time Xobic called out to him, he turned and looked back up. It was around a twenty foot drop.

He let out a sigh, and shouted back up, "Nope, Looks like your all screwed." He grinned lightly, and chuckled aloud, "Kidding, No ah... I'll figure something out. Give me a minute."

He took a moment to survey his surroundings and muttered, "Could make an easy block and tackle... with a lowering winch... or something..."

He took a moment to find some vines that reached the ground, they were thick, fibrous, and he couldn't break them easily, but they pulled away from the tree with relative ease. He gathered up five that reached from canopy to ground and wrapped them up in a messy bandolier before he ascended the tree he had just come down.

"Better off if I just let the thing fall to the ground and crush them all..." He thought to himself bitterly. But, to be alone in the wilderness, any kind of wilderness, was a bad situation.

He found a sturdy branch and gauged it's tensile strength, muttering, "That'll... work..."

Jonathan reached for the leather case on his belt loop and reached into it carefully, sliding out a small, four inch long ceramic knife. The blade had a loop on one end and was razor sharp. He regarded the tool carefully before he cut into the wood at an angle, carving enough away until he could snap the branch free. He was still supporting himself in the tree's canopy when he heard the airplanes landing gear suddenly disengage, shifting the planes weight precariously.

"Damn... Not much time left then..."

With a few quick strokes of the knife, he cleaned either end of the branch, slid the knife back away, and made his way to the tree's supporting the plane until he could pull himself back into the cabin again. He was already soaked in sweat from the humid air outside, his brow dripping. He was far from winded but he knew they had little time. He beckoned Xobic to him, and started pulling the vines apart, binding them together for the block and tackle.

"Take this, loop it around one of the seat's legs, then bring it back here, then take this one, and do the same on a different seat." He said holding up two similar length vines.

He began making the needed ties and loops to complete the system, "Then get me one of the other guys, I'm not going to be able to run this on my own safely."

Jonathan had taken the branch and put it horizontally across the doorway so that it rested on the floor. The length of the branch would act as a basic anchor and would act as a pressing point for him to keep anyone on the system from descending too quickly as well as allow him to control the rate of their descent. He finished the ties he needed to, tying each of the cords off to wall mounted fixtures that were solidly welded in place before he started to create a makeshift harness, within five minutes, he would have the whole system prepared and he would be able to lower the rest of the people inside the plane to the ground.
