Psychie Well... I think that might be because your O Mighty Fat Cat Player decided - mainly out of pure curiosity - to choose that Echolocation Charm. Little did I know it would have so great an effect on the scene at hand!

Da Chonk goes from, "This is all going over my head. How might I pass the time while the Solars do their thing?" to "Ooh! There he is! There's another way over there! Oh, and look back here! A big armored guy with a daiklave about to ambush us!" I can only imagine what this has done to the scene you put together, good Psychie?

Seriously here - would you rather I choose some other Charm for O Mighty Fat Cat? If this is going to be a suspense-crusher, I can select something more convenient for you and the game at large?

In my own personal opinion, if we are faced with only a few Exalts, they world have to be very high Essence in order to be able to stand up against us in a face-to-face fight just because there are so many of us. A group of lower Essence Exalted could do to us what we are doing to these Abyssals, so that is still a real threat. Imagine us facing off against a dozen Dragon Blooded from the Wyld Hunt. That could be sticky.

It doesn't have to be a "game breaker" in order for me to remove it - even if it's just inconvenient, that's plenty enough reason for me! Everyone's fun is important to me. =)

I really do love this group. Everyone is so good to me as a relatively new Storyteller with answers to my questions and help whenever I need it.

Purr you are a wonderful man, an awesome player, and a person I consider to be a close friend. I know that I can come to you with any concern or question and you will be willing to listen to my thoughts with an open mind.

With all of that being said, if I ever had a problem with a Charm, I would come to you first. You are good to continue to use it and enjoy your character as only you do. But thank you for making the offer.

You are honestly considering having your character ask this backstabbing sneak of a dishonorable Selfish or Evil armored guy and his womanizing clearly-jerk of a cohort who set us all up for said backstab to join OUR Circle? This, after these two bozos clearly decided they had a strong chance in 3-to-1 odds against Exalted armed the way our Circle is? And they are both are nearly stomped into the dirt this quickly?

You don't imagine they are going to try to rob us blind at the first opportunity or flee at the first sign of real danger to their own skins? On their way out, you seriously believe they won't try to bind, gag, and kidnap your Appearance 5-bearing babe-of-a-character so they can later beat her senseless and share her between them as a joy toy then sell her off to slavery or worse afterward?

That's what Selfish and Evil characters do, right?

I am seriously open to hearing any argument from anyone here towards this end, but I'm telling you now - it is going to be hard sell getting that one past my strictly-Good-hearted and largely-honorable Chonky Lunar much less me. Just telling everyone like it is, friends. =)
