Into the Game

Beep, beep when the requests tab and she noticed that one boy send her an invite. "Kenji..." his name came out but a whisper from her lips as she finished reading his message. Quickly she accepted, opened the menu, and sent him a reply.

"But it can also take one stick to ignite a bush fire." Wasn't as graceful as it was true. But she chuckled and went to a vendor to sell off some expensive items. As she brought up her money as smiled and flicked her tails.

"Oh, but wait if I remember right there is this player who just loves scamming people. I should be careful how I approach this as I travel." Finishing her shopping means she has some money left over for materials. She heads out and decided to meet up with her new companion. She opened up the message bar again and told him where to meet up as she headed in that direction.

He smirked at the message back and Yokkioko's friendship acceptance before long her location came. He typed a message back." What light the stick i wonder? ;-) Give 5 min."He spend the time to adjust his inventory and apparel, changing his appearance to something a bit more robotic by segmatic his skin and giving it a more metalic quality (example). He eventually found Yokkioko and waved at her."Hey, you ready for some hacker toppling then?" He asked.

"King, you wont betray my love, right?"

"Hm? Yeah, sure---"

King was only slightly aware of the fact that Nich had spoken to him. He wasn't trying to ignore her but he'd her rumors of a scammer earlier. His focus was on keeping an eye out for the culprit in case they would try and take his map. It wouldn't do them a lot of good but it would put a dent in his plans.

Besides that he still needed more party members. As he ponders this he doesn't notice when he walks straight into a girl with pointy ears and a fluffy tail, knocking her over.

"A cosplay- - - No wait this is a game. . ." he extends a helping hand.

Nich looked over at the girl, smiling. With a quick slide over towards their direction she immediately took out a pretty-looking piece of jewelry, some kind of golden ring. The stats on it seemed nice as well, and Nich was smiling wide as she presented it.

"Selling this for cheap, I heard if you buy two of them you'll grow wings, it was some kind of previous concept for the game, but they cut it out!", Nich began offering towards the girl.

"Wings, wings, wings! It should be nice to have them for an adorable little angel like you, riiiiiiiight~?"

Five minutes, that would be quick. She could at least wonder off in la-la land to pass the time. Looking towards the virtual sky she sighed softly, distant memories of her life emerged and a pastel pink butterfly fluttered just out of arms reach. She tilted her head curiously, she had never seen such a creature in this game, not even in the monster and NPC description page. As it fluttered closer her eyes widened and it landed on her forehead. "Oh?" Then she heard Kenji's and it snapped her out of the day dream as the butterfly flew away.

"O-oh hello there! I'm about as ready as I--" And then she fell, it wasn't a trip but more like a very forceful bump. She looked up at the culprit with ears flattened and noticed his hand was extended. Blinking some, mostly outta confusion, she took his hand and stood with a smile. "Thank you, and I'm sure you're sorry!" Yukiioko shook his hand softly as an uneasy feeling emerged from behind him. She peeked back and noticed a female player selling a ring to someone else. Nothing unusual except the aura the seller gave off, it wasn't right for a vendor.

"Excuse you, dreadlock !" He called out to the person that knocked at Yuki before turning to her."Some people no concept of mennars." He muttered before noticing Nich and frowned as he recognized her. "Oh look thats trouble walking, she is prankster. That ring she is selling propably weakens the character, or siphons heals or something like that."

"Dreadlock. . . ?" That would've made a great player name, King thought to himself. But saying he had no manners was borderline rude. He would hold a door open for a woman even if she was a mile away if he had to! Men on the other hand were a different story. He had little interest in the male gender.

"You wanna run that by me again, Robot Boy?" King says as he steps up to the android.

"You know that object you brushed just a few seconds ago, kinda was my friend here." He explained undaunted but the mans physical size. he was a victim with careless rude oafs, he wasn't going to stand for it happening to others. Not when he could something about it. He looked back hard as he tilted his head towards Yuki."She is owed an an apology."

"Maybe if I hadn't been interrupted by a certain tin-man, I could have given her the apology she deserved. Besides it's not like I pushed her or anything." King was staring down at the other man, he had his character view window open. The guy's name was Kenji apparently, an android around the same level as him. If it came down to a fight warriors had the better defense stats of any class; plus it would be difficult to do sufficient damage to this early on to counter that. He activated his counter skill just in case a pvp did start.

Nich looked between the two awkwardly, before walking off to begin trading again. Eventually, someone bought the ring, and immediately put it on. Within seconds, they stared in complete anxiety, waiting for all of the stats to be added...

But none came, and the stats suddenly disappeared, along with the ring's name, Band of Flight. The buyer was only left with a normal ring plainly named "Golden Ring"

Nich smiled as she looked down at her pretty penny, and counted it. She wouldn't be surprised if she was the richest person in the game at the moment, she was carrying quite the load of money after all of her scams, anyway. "Hey you, interested in something?", Nich would ask Kenji, smiling with charm as she pulled out a large sack of random items.

"Cheeeeeeeeeeap~"

"Back off, your scams are useless unless you use them on the battle field. If you want to use your skills badly then you will eventually run out of people to scam!" It was announced in one fluent breath, ears pinned to her head, as Yukiioko stepped in front of Kenji. Her eyes showed fire as she spoke her next words caustiously.

"Why don't you join us, money isn't a problem and your supply of items are substantial. But what you need is experience and knowledge in the field." Her ears raised a bit as she offered the deal. She only required her not to bother stealing from them and rather stealing from the beasts that await.

"You have already done me, fool me once..."He went to say aside to Nich still staring directly at King, preparing his sword arm. King was tougher and strong but Kenji was faster and with his abilities to could even the stats between them, then it was just be a matter of Kenji surviving long enough to whittle down King greater health... A lot of luck on kenji's part. However Yuki stepped in before the matter escalated further leaving him in surprise for a moment. "Uh, yeah bring the scam artist with us sounds clever."

"Hmm... Sounds fun... Okay!", Nich would yell with cat-like eyes, smiling as she looked at Kenji and Yukiioko with innocent eyes, as if she had never done anything to hurt anyone. "Only if you promise not to turn me in!", Nich said whilst pointing a finger upwards, waving it at them.

Posters were already up for Nich's bounty, which was rather high, but everyone knew no one had so much money on them already, except maybe for the scam arist herself.

Well, Nich certainly seemed willing to group up with these guys. But that would mean losing his one and only member. In the heat of the moment, King sent a party invite to the fox girl and kenji.

"If you guys want to tag along I guess I wouldn't mind" he says it trying to sound like he didn't actually need them. "But when it comes to boss mobs you follow my lead, kapeesh?" Hours upon hours had been spent analyzing each dungeon/field/boss mob, so it would best left to him to play the role of leader and strategist.

It probably be better not to tell them everything he knew to quickly as well. This way he'd know who he could trust. Sure Nich turned out to be a con, a cheat , and a thief, but she was good at it. At least she wasn't a man. King didn't trust other men. . . He'd be sure to keep an eye on Kenji.

Ting ting, her ear bells went off as she accepted the invite. Being teamed up like this wouldn't be too bad. They all would be able to split exp and coin evenly throughout the squad. She looked over at Kenji, he seemed rather stressed and that worried Yukiioko. "Do you need to talk?" She whispered as she turned to Kenji. Everything kinda felt like it was her fault, the air was tense and considering she couldn't kill anybody now she wouldn't be able to take on a PvP battle.

(Sorry it so short)

"I am fine... Thanks, Yuki." He said dismissively but looked at Yukkioko with a smile appreciatively concern. The bell in his ear rang about the message invite, he rolled his eyes as he reluctantly accepted them. Maybe he was being to judgmental of the two, he didnt need much to to ask Yukkioko's help after all." I guess we should start with some team building, I heard there was a dungeon to the east. Some sort of labyrinth. Should be some good loot and at the journey there should make for some good grinding."

A labyrinth to the east? King knew of such a place located in a forested region. Creed's labyrinth it was called. It would be a fairly easy run for beginners depending on what item you dropped to get in. A single gold coin should do fine. If he remembered right, the mobs were bats, black spiders, and skeletons with a small golem as a boss.

He could also grab a few party, hunting quests at the town hall so they could capitalize on exp and gold.

"That should be fine" he was working out all the small details in head.
