West and Meyers Junction

Kay saw everyone meet up at the same time at the junction, she was a bit out of breath but nothing that was hindering her. She was surprised she wasn't more worn out truth be told. Fia instantly went up to her and John, and flung her arms round Kay. "Should you really be here?" She questioned. "That's what I should be telling you kiddo. But I'm fine and I'm just because I'm pregnant, I'm not going to stand back. I didn't come all the way here to stay back" Kay explained to Fia, earning a nod and smirk if respect from her kid. She saw how both Chas and Dan were also kitted up as well as Fia. It was only when she let go of her that she noticed how kitted up and ready to defend her half brother she truly was.

Kay was also glad to see that Cal that was indeed okay except for the singed boot. She listened to the plan of action that Cal was coming up with and telling Cliff as she was just close enough to be able to hear it all. She wondered though what the exact plan of attack was for such a thing, apart from keeping Cal's and Elliott's father away from his entourage. She was prepared to do anything they needed from them all, as was Fia.

Cal took the sword back from Cliff. "I'm going to take the moral high ground here, once he's split from the entourage, me, him and Qui are going to sit down and attempt to discuss things like the mature adults we are. Going full fire fight will achieve nothing, and could just make things worse, landing us all in jail. So I'm going to attempt to talk this out." "And then if he refuses to see sense, then you can't say you didn't try diplomacy." Cliff continued, seeing exactly where Cal was going with this, and how it would affect things later on. They were creating an option for at least trying to clear the air. "Exactly"

Cal turned to face the others. "Okay people, the plan is simple enough. My estranged father has finally showed his face which menas things are moving in some way or another. We're going to try and be diplomatic, sit the the three of us down and do the awakwrd family reunion and try and clear this mess up, or at least find out where he stands on this, and has he changed since we were last in the same room. If he refuses to talk, we'll at least we tried, and that'll look good for us later on. So I need you lot to stay out of this and nobody punch him until I say you can." That was delivered with a narrow eyed look at Jay and John. "Got it?"

The West and Meyers Junction

Kay waited with everyone else, hands in jacket pockets. She knew everyone was going to be tense right now, and very rightly so. She just hoped things wouldn't blow up in their faces just yet. As Cal turned to the rest of them after talking to Cliff, she listened to the plan. It was well thought out and mature, certainly the beat course of action. She was impressed that Cal was truly thinking this out and not just going in guns blazing so to speak. It was admirable.

When Cal gave the last part of her plan with narrowed eyes toward Jay and John, she couldn't help but let a tiny smirk appear just briefly. She didn't blame Cal at all for adding that bit as she knew just like the rest of them did, just how much the two of them wanted to punch Elliott's father square in the face. "Got it" both Kay and Fia replied in unison.

It was the right decision to make, John and the others could see that. As much as he wanted to punch the guy in the face, there was a chance things had changed or there was something else at play that they didn't know about. He briefly thought of the strange mural they'd seen those days earlier, but the thought vanished as soon as it came. "That's a fair deal, any fuck ups are on him not us if he makes the first move." "I agree it's a good plan, and separating him, you're more likely to get some form of truth that way" "Yep, I got that too. And hopefully this doesn't jinx it, but we'll done on taking the high ground." "A fair chance is what he's being given" Dan nodded and agreed. He was proud of Cal for doing things this way, for thinking it through and not being clouded by her earlier emotions.

With that they set off, not running as such, but jogging, Cal and Cliff at the head, making it clear that they were on a mission and that anybody who got in their way would be essentially run over and trampled into the ground. They took the faster route, cutting across one of the squares and through some grimy alleys that really only served as back entrances to places. As they neared the hulking mountain shell that the prison was housed in the sound of two motorbikes could be heard approaching. Glancing to the left the rider were recognisable as Deke and Rinaa. Deke by his green-blue skin and wild hair. And Rinaa because the bike still had strips of protective tape and coverings as she'd been in the process of doing the final detailing when the call came. "You don't need to tell me the plan. I already know it. Split from the entourage, then attempt to be mature and discuss things" Rinaa yelled over.

Kay didn't think about the mural they had seen the other day, only because she was thinking of the current situation at hand. She just hoped that things would go they're way, even though she had a sinking feeling it very well may not. She was proud of John and Kay for both agreeing to the plan and knowing that Cal was right in what she said. Proud that neither were letting their personal issues with the siblings' birth father was getting in the way of the plan at hand.

She followed on with the others when they were all ready to go and saw Rinaa catching up with them on the nearly finished but ridable bike. If this was any other time she would have complimented Rinaa on the workmanship so far but now wasn't the time. When Rinaa yelled over the plan, she wondered how she knew then guessed it must have gone this way in her timeline and that's how she knew.

"Good, saves me having to explain it again!" Cal called over as the two came closer, swerving to a halt in front of the building. Rinaa did indeed know the plan from her timeline, just as she knew how the next week was going to go. Her knowledge of the days to come became more and more detailed as the approached the fatal date of the divergence point. If anybody found out just how close they were to that date, the consequences would be disastrous. Her method wasn't exactly any better, but she knew it would work, it was what she had been created for after all.

Deke had spent the whole ride with his laptop tucked under his arm and as soon as he'd dismounted he flipped it open, pulled out his swipe card for the monitoring centre and entered, managing not to fall over his untied laces (due to the fact that running with a laptop was a surprisingly frequent occurence in his life). 'They've just landed, I'll stall them and give you hopefully enough time to get thing set up' he called over in Attili, to which Cal and Cliff nodded flashing him a thumbs up gesture. "And do up those shoelaces! Now of all times we don't need you to smash your head open!" Rinaa called over, commenting on his shoelaces was a running joke in her timeline, but now she was being deadly serious.

Just like last time, Cliff swiped them into the building, but this time the staff looked up at their arrival. There was a tension in the air, they all knew what was going on, the news had spread like wildfire. One of the guards stepped forwards and spoke in Attili, on behalf of all the others. "Before you say anything, we know what's going on, and we know the consequences of our actions. But they can't punish every single one of us without sparking outrage. So here are the keys, the necessary keys to get you in, we can stall them, but not for too long." Cal took the keys and nodded wordlessly, not knowing how to react to all these people just making a stance. "Get justice, not just for one, but for all who this system has failed.' "We will" Cal and Jay replied in unison before moving forwards. "Thank you for doing this"

Both Fia and Kay noticed how Deke had managed to ride the entire way with his laptop under his arm, before using it when he dismounted. Fia couldn't help but smirk slightly when Rinaa gold him to sort his laces out, which made her then notice they were indeed undone. They both walked in when Cliff swiped them into the building. Kay noticed the tension in the air instantly, the change of atmosphere was massive. She saw how one of the guards came up to them and spoke in Attili.

Trusting that what was being said was a good she just stood there with Fia and the others. She watched to guage what was happening by how Cal and Cliff replied, and seeing it was clearly a mutual thing, it made her now think of that mural she saw with John, which made her glance at him, her eyes saying everything she needed to. She didn't need to say anything, as she thought back to their conversation guessing it may have had something to do with Elliott with the word Justice being scrawled in the pavement of his scar on said mural. Their theories were seeming to come true.

It had been clear to those who went to Deke's lab while Kay and John were getting the diagnosis that Rinaa was very close to the Deke in her timeline. He wasn't a father figure, instead personifying crazy uncle to a T. In a way Deke was to Rinaa what Chas was to Fia- a person part of the extended family, yet not actually a member who could give them perspective as an outsider to the situation, always trued to give them the whole truth and would willingly bend the rules for them.

John could see how dramatically the atmosphere had changed in the room since their last visit where everybody had been going about their own thing. But this time, they'd been waiting for Cal and Cliff, waiting to say they were on their side in this whole thing, no matter the consequences. It was an incredibly show of loyalty and friendship. The guards were making a stand and picking a side- Cal's. And this, he knew, was only a tiny portion of the whole force in the training base. But where there was one deviator there would be more. So there was hope, hope that this could go well for them all. The guard shook their head at Cal and Cliff's thanking them in Attili. "No, we should be the ones thanking you for starting this, and doing what we all should have done years ago. Now go, I presume you know where to go and have probably been sneaking him out under our noses."

Cal smiled and nodded "something like that, but for official reasons I can neither confirm nor deny any knowledge of such actions." The guard nodded, satisfied and gestured them onwards. As they moved forwards, John caught the look in Kay's eye and knew she was thinking of the mural, even if she hadn't understood that the spokesguard had used the word justice in their spiel. Which was why he turned and spoke briefly in Attili. "But the thanks still stands from us, from all of us." He told them, including the whole of the Earth based crew and Jay in that statement. "We'll get justice." He finished before following the others down the corridor, through the twisting network of tunnels that made up the prison.

Kay and Fia both remained silent through the entire chat, just like everyone else did. Cal knew what she was doing, they were just backup. When it was over and John caught the look in Kay's eyes, she silently have him that small nod before he gave his own thanks from them all in Atilli, and followed Cal and Cliff down the corridor. Both girls felt they didn't need to understand to know that John gave his own thanks.

Kay continued to walk through the winding tunnels with everyone else, silently and kept hoping this would go they way they wanted. In her mind, the more people that stood with them the higher the chances, yet she still had a knot in her stomach that there was an chance this could go oh so wrong. So much was riding on this initial chat with their 'dear old dad' and even getting him separated from his entourage and that just made her incredibly nervous. Fia could tell this whole thing was making Kay nervous, it was making her nervous also, she didnt want anything to happen to Elliott or any of her family, direct or extended. It made her instinctively grab for Kay's hand, to which Kay took it gladly and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

There was nothing to do but follow. The first time they'd been in here, the walk through the tunnels seemed to take forever, but now it was just a blur. Maybe it was because they'd done it before, or maybe it was due to the greater sense of urgency in the situation. As with the last time they had no problem in getting through the doors, which opened before them without Cal even having to reach for the keys, a sure sign that on the other end Deke was working his magic. Just like last time, the outside of the cell was counterwarded, making it impossible for Elliott to do any kind of magic in there. Dan glared at the runes as if they personally offended him by existing. Cal unlocked the door and they all made their way into the high security cell.

Jay immediately smirked seeing the position Elliott was in- doing a handstand with his legs bent at the knees and braced against the wall. "You absloute hypocrite" she smirked as Elliott flipped himself back to a normal orientation. She'd done various handstands, backflips and balencing positions when she was kept prisoner by A.J's crew, and Elliott had always been ragging her for doing it. Yet where he was doing the exact same thing to stave off the boredom. "Fair enough, I get why now." Seeing the others, his face went back to serious. "He showed up?" "Yes, and is coming here. We're going to be mature and responsible adults about this and sit him down and actually talk." "Think that will work?" "No idea, but separating him from the inevitable entourage should help. And turns out every guard in this building currently is with us." "Wow....okay, we have a good chance then."

Fia and Kay both saw how Dan glared at the runes when they reached the cell in question. Fia got why he would glare at them, being a fellow rune barer herself, she hated that they were being used to stop Elliott's magic. It just felt incredibly hypocritical to her. This was also the first ever time she had seen her brother in the cell, having only seen him out of there in the apartment or elsewhere in disguise. It broke her heart seeing her brother in such a place and it was a sight she never wanted to see again. She just wanted to hug him but knew she couldn't, so she squeezed her mother's hand even tighter. In the future she wasn't nearly this close to Kay, but being back in time had begun to change that and made her see Kay in a better light and right now she wanted her parents and to help keep the hope firmly in them.

Kay couldn't help but smirk at seeing him doing a handstand to waver the boredom he was inevitably feeling. In her eyes, if it meant it gave him something to do then it as all good. When the chatter turned back serious after Jay made her little remark, she remained silent letting Cal tell Elliott was the deal was. She still hoped that if Elliott said there was hope it'll work, then maybe there was. She always held onto her hope, and knew she couldn't let that be thrown away now. She hadn't spent all these days telling John to hold onto it, and if he couldn't, she would do it for the both of them, only to do the opposite. She squeezed Fia's hand back, and rubbed her thumb over the girls' hand reassuringly.

It was Rinaa's first time seeing Elliott in the cell, but not her first time seeing the cell. She ran a hand over the wall, feeling the mix of natural stone, metal and glass that composed the cell. It hadn't changed in the years between this time and her time and she didn't know whether that was a sad thing or not. The anger, sadness and hurt she felt seeing her father (who she still didn't know fully) in this situation was strong enough to make her want to crumple at the knees and just fall to the ground in a heap. John's emotions were similar, but with a greater emphasis on anger than on sadness. He knew Elliott could get through the impriosnmmet, he'd survived a year on his own in a spaceship with no contact with people. At least this time he actually had people to talk to, even though it was clear from his earlier acrobatics that the boredom was setting in.

Cal nodded "we have a better chance than when we woke up this morning. The rest of our pilot crew is on their way, the others guys that have been helping us break you out." "All for one and one for all kind of mindset?" Cliff nodded. "This one wanted to take full responsibility, but neither they, nor I would let her do something so incredibly stupid." Cliff gave her to-be wife a look to which Cal could only nod sheepishly. "That was my grand plan yes" "She's right, it is stupid. So what are we going to do?" "Talking in this cell is best, just pull over the table and three chairs. This is where you were kept after all, so we need him to see that. Plus there's no listening devices, recording devices or two way glass, so whatever is said in here stays private."

Kay had completely forgotten that it was in fact Rinaa's first time seeing him in the cell also, only now remembering that she decided not to go see him when they first arrived on Attil. She could only imagine what the teenager must be feeling right now, as she was having a bloody good idea through how Fia was feeling. She noticed how Rinaa was running her hands down the walls, inspecting them, but didn't pay too much attention to it, letting the kid just take it all in in her own way.

Fia was acutely aware of how much anger to the whole thing John was feeling. Because she was only a teenager and naturally had the bond that Kay and John had, due to being their child, she could feel their emotions a lot easier than the two of them could feel each others' emotions. She was just naturally more in tune with it, which made her grab John's hand as well, slowly letting go of Kay's and just migrating over to her father. As she and the others heard what was being said between Elliott, Cal and Cliff. There was nothing either of them could say to the conversation, knowing this had to be between the three of them before it became between Ell, Cal and their father.

John knew that sitting down and talking was the right thing to do, but that didn't necessarily mean he had to like it. He was on edge about the whole thing, Elliott have never shown John enough of his father for John to be able to describe him. But he did know that both Cal and Elliott had their inherited their father's cheekbones, that all in the family were tall and that Elliott's father had brown hair rather than black. He could see Rinaa taking it all in, having also forgotten she'd never seen Elliott in the cell before. Rinaa took her hand away from the wall with a sad sigh to herself and it was clear as day to Jay that she was upset over the whole thing. Jay put an arm around Rinaa and the teenagers head rested against Jay's shoulder words were exchanged but John was too far away to hear them.

John was surprised when Fia's had crept into his, his tunnel vision have completly blotted out Kay and Fia from his thoughts. That was probably a bad thing, given that they were a family, but this was a moment with too much riding on it. None of thr others had spoken, not knowing what to say or how to say it. Chas broke first, saying what he was pretty sur everybody else was thinking. "Is there anything we can do to help, or is it best if we all stay out of the way entirely?" "As much as you all are my family, this is something that has to be between the three of us, it has to be done alone. So really, just promise you won't try and listen in and stay out of the whole thing. We have no idea how much he knows of my life on Earth if anything, and the two resident time travellers definitely need to keep out of this. If it comes to it, deny even being time travellers in the first place. Last thing we need to do is open that whole story."

Kay wouldn't have blamed John for blotting them out of his mind, sure they were family and yes, there would have been a twinge of upset about it, that was inevitable to happen, but she would have understood it. He had had Elliott in his life far far longer than he had her or Fia, and it would have been that understanding that would have overridden the upset. She knew just as much as everyone else in the room that there was far too much riding on this plan working.

Glancing out the corner of her eye she saw Fia gravitate toward John and his surprise at her doing so, which despite it being totally the wrong time, it did make her smile the tiniest amount. Barely noticeable, but still there. As Chas broke the silence asking what they could all do, if anything, she listened to the answer that Elliott gave them all. It was an answer she was expecting from him, as she knew there's be nothing any of them could say that would help his case. "You dont have to worry about us two saying anything big brother, you can count on us to keep our mouths shut" Fia reassured Elliott, staying close to John, practically now hugging his arm, looking every but his daughter that needed that family connection, knowing that Rinaa would only be thinking the same thing. "Likewise, we'll only get involved if you give us the go ahead to do so" Kay added in agreement to Fia's original reply.

John was immensely grateful to Chas for speaking up and asking what was on their minds. He knew that asking them to stay out of it was the right call, there was so much to this that was personal, and however much it affecting them, this was Elliott's past and Elliott's father, he'd come here to face it, make peace with it and mover forwards. So that was exactly what John was going to let him do, even if it hurt and angered him beyond comprehension, he knew it was the right call. "I'll keep my mouth shut, don't worry. Myself and Deke have fixed up the data bases so now I'm his adopted second cousin or something like that" she waved a hand dismissively as if fixing up data bases was no big deal.

That brought an amused smile to Elliott's face. "So creating fake identities in databases is a normal part of your life then?" "Kinda yeah, long story for some other time." "I'll stay out, and I bloody mean that, lock me in a different cell if you have to, but until its been clarified he's an arsehole I won't be interferin'." "I'll keep an eye on John for you, and Jay if that's not weird?" "It's not weird. I'll stay out of it, keep an eye on this one" Jay poked Rinaa in the side. "I'll be with Dan and the rest of the crew, keeping the entourage busy. I'll only text if something goes bad, but you'd know if it did." Dan gave his agreement in Attili. "That's that sorted, so move the table then?" There was no mistaking the relief in Elliott's voice.

Hearing Rinaa confirm and agree with Fia that she won't be saying anything and that she fixed up some fake identity for herself, made Kay equally amused and impressed. She also didn't think for a second that John would do anything jeopardize Elliott's chances of getting out of this predicament alive. He wanted this to go without a hitch more than any of them. Yet it also good to hear John air his agreement to stay out of it and she could imagine that was a huge relief to Elliott as well.

Chas wouldn't be the only one keeping an eye on John, Kay and Fia both would be too. Just like Jay would keep an eye on Rinaa, Kay would be keeping an eye on Fia as well as John. She knew with them all together as a group they could keep their words to Elliott without him having to worry about them as well as his own problems. She could hear the relief in Elliott's voice when they all agreed to the terms. She had a feeling that some of the others would help him move the table and such, so she stayed out of it, staying close to both John and Fia, with Fia standing in the middle of the two of them. She put her arm round both of them to try and be of some comfort and reassurance, even though she had no idea if it would work or not.

Elliott was relieved to hear everybody give their promises. With most of them, their word was a bond they wouldn't break (he couldn't speak for Cliff or Dan, not knowing them well enough to make a call, but it was evident they would do anything for Cal, and that was good enough for him). John would've helped move the table, but it was clear by how both Fia and Kay were latching onto him, that he was needed there as a comforting presence. So he stayed and ler Jay and Rinaa do the table shifting while Cal, Cliff and Elliott borrowed chairs from nearby. Looking at the table and the three chairs, John couldn't help but think of the classic good-cop/bad-cop interrogation set up. In a way this was wgay it would be, though the roles of good cop, bad cop and suspect would no doubt get incredibly jumbled up during the whole thing.

Elliott spoke with Jay and Rinaa, while Cal instructed Cliff and Dan on what to do and where to go next. The rest of the crew were on their way and were being given the orders that nobody left without both Cal and Elliott's say so. They were going to get this done John realised, no matter what, they were going to make this happen. He couldn't hear what Elliott was saying to Jay and Rinaa, and for once he didn't want to either, it was no doubt something personal. And when all three hugged together Chas realised that this was the first time he'd seen Jay's emotions so openly (besides pain and anger). Elliott made his way over to John and co next. "I would ask if this is a good idea but I'm hardly renowned for making good ones meself" "It mightn't be a good one, but it's what needs to be done. I said I was going to face this, and I'm too stupidly stubborn to back down. Now prizes for who that came from." He meant John when he said that, and for once John picked up on it.

It was funny in a weird way that both Kay and John both thought they were needed to be the comforting presence for each other and their daughter, and neither realised that the other was doing what they were for the other. Kay let Elliott move the table and chairs with the others, and especially when he spoke with Jay and Rinaa alone. They deserved to have that moment with each other. As for the set up Kay didn't even think about what it resembled. Her mind was on everything else and for Elliott's well being, rather than what the set up looked like.

When Elliott finished talking to Jay and Rinaa and hugged them both, she saw a great family they truly looked, and she hopes if this all worked out then things could be different and better for them. She wanted that for them so much as she did care a great deal about Elliott. Seeing him come over to the rest of them she gave him a reassuring small smile, letting him talk to John first. "Like dad like son Ell" she told him, meaning to him that John would always be his dad, and not his birth father. "you're both certainly as stubborn as each other but none of us would have either of you any other way" she added. Fia just let go of John and hugged Elliott tightly, "be careful okay?" She mumbled against him, still terrified that she'd lose her brother and things would go real bad for her family. For once she wasn't even going to try and make jokes and be the happy go lucky kid sister, she had made herself be seen as.

Both John and Elliott knew what Kay meant with her remark. A father and a dad were two different people, but Elliott had never used either title with regards to John. The term father was reserved for his biological father and was usually accompanied by an anger and/or hurt filled tone. He'd never used to word 'Dad' to describe John because that just wasn't who he was. The word didn't described what John was to him. John was just..... John, complex and contradictory in every aspect of his life. "Yeah, we're a right pair of stubborn idiots." "Normals boring anyway" John smirked. He was going to go hug Elliott, but Fia got there first. "I will." He knew that she was thinking this could be the moment where it all went wrong and where Elliott died, but it couldn't be. If it was he knew for damn sure that Rinaa wouldn't be anywhere near as controlled as she currently was. Somewhere within him he knew that Rinaa would change a timeline, even if it meant erasing herself from existance, she would make that sacrifice.

When Fia let go, John was the next to hug him. The two were exactly the same height now, but when Elliott was a teenager he seemed to just shoot up. John was fond of saying that if Elliott grew taller than him he would start wearing heels to get those extra centimetres back. But Elliott had stopped at exactly John's height so there was no need for anything that drastic. Hells Elliott had changed so much from the wide eyed terrified kid he and Chas had found, yet some things had remained exactly the same. When he spoke to Elliott it was in Attili "I would say good luck, but I don't do that kind of thing." "Yeah I know" "just think of it as a really bizarre job interview and you'll be fine." That made Elliott laugh as he broke away, only John could say something that stupid yet heartfelt.

Elliott may never have used the term 'dad' to John, but she knew full well that when she referred to him as John's son to John, it meant the utter world to him. So she would never take back how she saw the both of them. Kay smirked back when John said that normal was boring anyway, something she most certainly agree with. She was the furthest from normal, so even if she tried to make out that any of them were she'd be lying greatly. A smile crept into her face when Fia hugged him, and she could definitely see how much she adored her brother. She could also see how much she didn't want to let go, so she out her hand on Fia's back. "hey, he'll be fine, it's just a talk at the moment" she reassured her, which did make Fia let go so John could have his moment.

Fia hugged Kay whilst John spoke with Elliott in Attili. Kay kept rubbing her back to keep her reassured. She wondered if Fia reacting the way she was was down to something else that none of them were aware of and little did she know just how close she was with that assumption. When John finally broke away, Kay gave Elliott a hug too. "I know you'll be fine Ell, I'll keep these two out of trouble, you can count on that" she said to him.

"You're such an idiot John" Elliott smirked, glad for the momentary distraction from his life and what was to come. "So are you" John smirked, earning a dig in the ribs from Elliott. He was surprised by Kay's hug, even though it logically made sense for her to give him one. It was probably because he'd had the least time to adapt to Kay being around and had missed all these crucial moments of bonding and discovery of her past with John. At her remark he nodded, knowing that she would do exactly that, and being pregnant wouldn't stop her in the slightest. "Yeah, I know you will. And besides, we're all making it out to be a bigger thing than it actually is its just an awkward family reunion."

"Speaking of which, it's go time" Cal remarked gravely, having recieved the alert that her father was there. She and Elliott took their places at the desk while the rest left the room. Cliff had done prison shifts before, and knew that the best place for everybody was the rec room as it had windows and a balcony. So she led them there, knowing that the entourage wouldn't ever get far enough into the building to find them. "I'm not gonna say this is easy on anybody, or how we even intended this to go in the first place. But it's happening now, so we just gotta wait and see really."

Kay could feel in Elliott's body language that he was surprised she would even give him a hug. So she made a mental note to herself that when this was all over and he was back home, she would make more of an effort to have those crucial bonding moments with him and let him know just how much she understands having a troublesome father and the likes can be. It was only right he knew the truth, just like it was for John to know. Her hug didn't last nearly as long as the other two did, but she stilled showed him she cared. She had to smile and nod at his reply to her words, even though she thought it was more than just a awkward family reunion. "awkward is an understatement" she told him.

The moment Cal said their father was there, she gave him a pat on the back and went back to her place beside Fia and John. She followed everyone out the room and into the rec room where they would be safe to stay. "Agreed, like I told him, he'll be fine. It's a controlled environment and just a chat. More importantly he's not alone in there with him" She replied.

Cliff nodded "That's true. This was always the way it was going to be, the three if them around a table at least attempting to talk about it. Cal knew as soon as she realised her brother was coming here. And sooner rather than later is preferable." She paused, not quite believing that she was going to say something that came so close to actually defending their father. "As many faults as their father has, he's actually shown up, unlike their mother who has re-married and moved on." "You have a point on that" Chas nodded, sitting himself down along with the others. Rinaa and Jay had both decided to sit on one of the tables, side by side, Jay with one arm around Rinaa, both exuding worry.

"So what happens after this?" John asked, knowing that the outcome very much influenced what happened next. "Well I'm refusing to move the wedding, so if the high ups want to do anything they can work around my wedding for once." Cliff had no intention of letting her wedding be sacrificed just because the people in charge said so. If it meant breaking a whole heap more laws, then she would do it in a heartbeat, that much was obvious. "Go tell 'em Cliff" Jay smirked, very much liking her determination. "Aside from that, it's really up to the people in power. There was talk of a trial, but of what or who? It was them who banished him, and he came back willingly. Whatever it is, we're pretty damn adaptable."

Kay listened to Cliff, nodding in acknowledgement, before hearing what else she had to say. She had to admit, she agreed with Cliff on the first part of her comment. It did have to happen, no matter what else was deemed to be an necessary action, the talk and reunion with all three of them needed to be done. Just like she had to see what happened to her father, and John his. It just had to be done for closure, even if said closure didn't feel like it at the time or therefore after. When the topic of what was to happen next came up she took interest in the possible answers. As Cliff explained it and said she wouldn't move the wedding, she had to smirk. She really admired Cliff for this side of her personality, as she sat down on the nearest chair to her.

Fia took more of an interest in what was being said also to the second part and loved that Cliff wasn't going to let anything get in the way of hers and Cal's big day. The smirk vanished though when the seriousness came back to the point and Cliff said about it being up to the people in power. She found it strange that there would be a trial when Elliott came back willingly and like it was said, they're the ones that banished him. Surely the original banishment would have been a trial in itself in her mind. She went into her own thoughts during this whole situation, leaning against the wall rather than sitting down. One foot pressed flat against the wall, arms folded.
