Fandom Infamous: Repercussions

[Netherdragon]

"I'd suggest everyone look away. Just incase." Null says before looking at the mirror. "You who is receiving this command. You will no longer maintain any of your emotions for the next 24 hours." Null says before staring off into space.


Meanwhile in Null's vision


Lets lock it up. Null says before turning a key and closing a lock on a physical form of his mind.


Null then stands up and faces Shadow. "I need a whiteboard, or a computer. I need to run some numbers."

 

[Assailant]

"I'd suggest everyone look away. Just incase."

"What?" Cloud says, as he looks directly at Null, only to be hit by the control, as 25 looks at him in shock.


"Please... I couldn't have gotten this lucky... it's impossible." 25 says. "One... what do you think of Shadow?"


"Shadow is a great leader."


"Just a leader?"


"Yes."


"What about a friend?"


"There are no friends." 25's eyes go wide as he falls to his knees.


"YYYEEEEESSS!!!" He screams, raising his face to the sky and crying tears of joy. "YES!!!!" Shadow looks at them before looking back to Null.


"Down the hall, take two rights, then first room on your left."

 

[Netherdragon]

Null starts heading down that direction. "Oh, in case you were wondering, One is naturally a bit bubbly which drives 10 squared divided by two plus 40 divided by two minus 25, re-ran the numbers there using PEMDAS, a bit crazy. Keep in mind the effects will only last for 24 hours." Null then goes down the hall to the room that Shadow mentioned.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow follows. "Hm. Anyways, your not exactly a tech person, so I don't know what you're plan is..."

 

[Netherdragon]

Null finds a room full of untouched computers as well as a untouched Presentation screen. "Perfect." Null said "True, I'm not the best tech support, but keep in mind. Whenever someone had problems with their computer in school, they usually came to me. For good reason, no less."


Null then opens Microsoft 2011. "Great" ok, lets see. Who do we have at the FFA. We have myself, Shard, Alex, Felix, Max, Daniel, and Sphinx. Avalon and Scarlet are out of the question, because their powers have light qualities. Felix, can't get his shadows ripped out of him, they come out on their own. Shadow already has Nil, Daniel can't have a shadow yet. That leaves us with four options. No... Five... However, Sapphire would be a pretty good power play. The only one's who can avoid it would be Max, and therefore, Nil, as well as Alex, along with Daniel and myself to an extent. Null types in four names that appear on the presentation screen. "Alex, Shard, Sphinx, and me." Null notices Shadow behind him. "I still need a bit more time to decide who. I'm coming close though. Either way, I wouldn't be able to do it today. Sun should be rising in an hour or so. Not enough time to take action." Null says as he stretches.

 

[Assailant]

"You must have lost track of time, the sun isn't rising for another four and a half hours. But if it's time you need, so be it." Shadow says, but still remains in the room.

 

[Netherdragon]

"I'm afraid it's you who has lost track of time, Shadow. We finished the assault at about 4:30. We then talked for at least a half an hour where you refused to believe of the existence of the fourth wall, yet I won't bother going back into a huge debate about that right now... We then talked for at least another 15 minutes. You then locked me in that room for 30 to 45 minutes. In short, sunrise is in less than 2 hours."

 

[Assailant]

Shadow looks at his watch. "I was right. You didn't keep track of time. the assault ended at about 3:30, it's about 4:30 right now, and the sun doesn't rise until 7:30. So I was a bit off, but still."

 

[Netherdragon]

"Shadow, there's something you need to know... Since you have last seen the FFA, there have been no new recruitments. Over half of the people there have a shadow. They've gone down to literally having about 3 members again. 2 of them being Max and Felix. The last one, well, Felix would notice the change, and he would murder me. If it were Alex, Shard would kill me. If it were Shard, yet again, Shard would kill me. If it were me, I'd get a bunch of I told you so's THEN they would kill me."

 

[Assailant]

"I assume you mean Sphinx as that other one? SHE won't change. Besides, as I said, they don't need to know."

 

[Netherdragon]

"I don't want to die quite yet, but there's literally nobody I can give you without MAJOR repercussions. If Shard loses trust in me, So does everyone else. Alex already isn't the fondest of me. It I do it to him, EVERYONE loses trust in me. "If I do it to me, well I just don't want that. If I do it to Sphinx, yet again, everyone loses faith in me and goes after me. This causes problems for you too. You'd lose your flow of information."


 

"I assume you mean Sphinx as that other one? SHE won't change. Besides, as I said, they don't need to know."

"Wrong. Sphinx has multi personality disorder. One persona, Sphinx, has the good emotions, Sapphire, the other persona, carries all the bad personas. Sphinx would notice Sapphire would be gone. She'd know something's up and sooner or later, the FFA would put the pieces together. Sapphire is kinda like you were to Felix. Both of you were forced to share the same body with another persona. Both of you claimed to be the dominant personalities, but Sapphire shows more proof of that. Point being, Sapphire is essentially a shadow. By taking a shadow from Sphinx, they'd eventually learn what happened."

 

[Assailant]

Shadow facepalms. "After all this time, I'd think you would have learned more about my powers. 'Taking a shadow' is an expression. It's more like copying it. If you haven't noticed, Felix still gets pissed. As such, Sapphire would still be there."

 

[Netherdragon]

"Really? Then there are some contradictions... Why did the darkness that Twilight absorbed disappear? Because you took the shadow. You didn't copy it."

 

[Assailant]

"That's simple. That was actually MY energy, not an innate emotion. How my energy transferred into emotions, I honestly don't know, but it'd be fun to research."

 

[Netherdragon]

"Thats just it. The fact that you did, means you took the emotions. It manifested to become part of her emotions. And you took those. It doesn't add up."

 

[Assailant]

"I took MY energy. Somehow that energy also affected her emotions. But I assure you, that's an anomaly. It must have to do with her absorbing it... but really I have no clue."

 

[Netherdragon]

"I got an idea... what if I proved the fourth walls existence? I know... don't get angry, but I have a way to show it to you. We just need to go into Dax's dreamscape.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow immediately holds the blade up to Null. "If option 1 is so difficult, option 3 is always available. I swear to God, I'm not kidding... and don't wisecrack about my usage of god."

 

[Netherdragon]

Null grabs the blade and slowly pushes it down. "I am absolutely serious about it's existence. Now what's unbelievable is how chaotic things got the first time the 4th wall completely shattered. Dax hopes he never has to go through that stuff again. I'm not going in to depth, because once you hear what happened, you'd think I belong in an insane asylum. Now anyway, if I prove to you that the fourth wall exists, hypothetically, would you call us even?" Null says while hoping Dax comes back soon.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow stares at him before laughing. "No! Why in the world would I? That's not helpful. And i'm not taking the time to figure out."

 

[Netherdragon]

"Why not? They can give you so much information. Such as why Zabuza has been MIA so long. Honestly, it's been three weeks in their time. Either way, I'd like to wait for Dax before continuing. He should be back soon. Oh, and by the way. On another note, your Shadows are so much more mellow when you aren't around. I learned a few things about them. For example, one of the three I was with remembered that he was a psychologist."

Dax returns to Null along with D2 after bringing Daniel back to the FFA base. "Oh, hey Null. Shadow. Here's your hot chocolate." Dax says as he hands the hot chocolate to Null. "By the way, Shadow, this is D2."


"Hiya!" D2 says to Shadow.

Dax. Good to see you, now go to sleep. We need to show Shadow the fourth wall.
