I looked at Lisa as my vision began to clear. "Yeah?"

"Good you're up......well kind of." Lisa said. Do you recognize this guy? Lisa asked her.

I looked at the guy. Yes, I do. If I was able to, I would kick his ass. He's the theif. I glared at Nero. "You! What are you doing here?!"


He simply chuckled and showed me the moonstone necklace. "I came to help you and I just saved your life. Do I get a thank you?"


"Thank you." I growled.

Lisa mentally cursed herself for being so careless. do I kill him or keep him restrained.....

Restraining him would probably be a good idea... I cracked my neck and stretched. I still couldn't move very well. Damn it... I thought to myself.

No problem! Lisa said before looking at Nero. As if Nero read their minds he quickly began running to the door. "Not so fast." Lisa said as she ran up to him. She threw her sai past his head and made him freeze. "Shadow chain." she whispered as she began moving her hands in a circle in front of her. His eyes widen in fear until she drops her hands and says "Just kidding." His eyes relaxed until he heard her say "Poisoned Needles." Before he new it he was hit four times with poisoned needles. one in each limb. "Goodnight~" Lisa said as she closed her bag from which the needles came. "So Naya, He'll be out for a while. What now?"

"Well, technically we have the stone, so we have to find a certain type of person to give it to. We have to keep heading east. Did Nero have anyone with him?"

 

[Amaya Itami]

"Actually ya he did. He had someone flanking us the whole way here, but he just brushed it of as a distraction."

 

[Little Masky]

I thought about this. Nero probably gave him orders to kills us if something happens to Nero. I wonder who this ally of his is. I shook my head. "We should get some sleep, since we are temporarily safe and Nero can't do any harm." I suggested.

 

[Amaya Itami]

Lisa nodded "I'll be sleeping lightly so you can fully rest, Don't worry about anything as an assassin I'm trained to sleep with all my senses on so I can get up and attack in under a second if necessary." Lisa Pulled a couple blankets out of her bag and laid one on the floor then another on top of that. She tossed the third one to Naya. "Rest up and don't worry about not being able to move. If my calculations are correct you'll be able to move in a few minuets. Goodnight Naya.

The demon watched from a dark corner, overhearing every word. I see.. so the moonstone must have been what my master was talking about..

Goodnight. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.


Nero told me not to do anything unless he was killed. The observer thought as he watched the group from a distant roof. He watched as the girls fell asleep and decided to go into the market at dawn. He skillfully and silently jumped of the rooftop and pulled his hood down to look less suspicious. Nero better not die while I'm not watching. He thought.

Becoming invisible, the demon crept silently into the room, searching for the moonstone. I better get it back to my master before they wake up..

As I slept, my dreams became nightmares and was sure I must have been tossing and turning. I tried to wake up but the nightmares were too horrifying.

Lisa Perked up during the night and lay their fully awake but with her eyes still closed. She didn't want to wake up Naya but she sensed someone else in the room. who could it be? She wondered. She sensed a darker presence but lay their completely still, waiting for something to happen.

The demon's cloaking spell dropped, her energy running low as she became frustrated. Damn.. where is it... She froze. One of the girls was awake.

Lisa slowly sat up and looked around the room Come out, come out demon.... She thought as she stood and got her sais ready by her side. She couldn't worry about waking Naya now Naya someone's in here with us but it's not Nero's partner.....It's something darker.....

The observer sensed a demon nearby and quickly traced in to the inn where the group was. he returned to his rooftop to watch.


I woke up with a jolt. I instinctively grabbed my dagger and cursed for leaving the stone with Nero. I stayed as calm as I could as I sat up slowly. A demon is after the stone, Lisa... Be careful..

That's what I though but I wasn't sure. I've never dealt with a demon before.......I don't know how to fight them but I'll do my best. Lisa closed her eyes and tried to focus on where the dark aura was coming from.

 

[Hendercat8]

She came out into plain sight, staring at the girls and their weapons. "So. I see you're planning to attack me. The name's Arietta, by the way. I'm also known as the Hendercat."

Lisa opened her eyes and stared at the demon girl. "So you're here for the moon stone." Lisa said cautiously.

I wondered about this demon. I've dealt with them before and killed some. Why a demon would want this stone though I didn't know.


"Why do you want the stone?" I asked, still gripping my dagger.

 

[Hendercat8]

Arietta nodded. "That's why I've been summoned. I don't know why, but my lord is dead set on getting that stone. And it may not have to come to this, but I've also been looking for some more... test subjects." She cackled.

 

[Amaya Itami]

Lisa smiles and turned to Naya "This should be fun." "But I've never dealt with a demon, Normally humans are no match for me, but a demon......I don't know."
