"That's up to them honestly." Alex had moved between the legs and was severing them from the hip and chest pieces. "I kind of just wanted to cut it just to be honest. Besides, it's made of Lunar Zephyrglitter Admantium. I'm sure they'd eventually figure out SOMETHING to cut it with, but if I can help why not?" Alex switched over to the left leg and sawed through that with more ease. The more he cut this foreign material the hotter his blade needed to become, so the easier the overall process was becoming 

Snow: She nodded and bit her lip as she looked around. She couldn't see any bodies of water around... hmm was that safer or more dangerous for the people around her?

Far at the end of the forest....


Far north in the forest, the ground rumbled ferociously. The earth's plates shifted and collided with vigor. The plates dragged against one another to cause the quake. There were no aftershocks. The land was peaceful for a moment, until the stomps of the troops replaced the silence

A small army was growing. Their forces kept rising in supply. It would take them awhile, but they were going to find and exterminate the horsemen

Rose looked at what Lilly found and just replied with," if you think it'll be useful grab it, all I care about is getting what I said to get other than that it'll be extra and maybe useful but we'll just have to see what Derek does with it." she then continued to search for what was needed, after some time of searching she found the large flat faced hammer as well as the large wooden hammer." How you doing over there Jasper?" 


As Derek told Sebastian about the camp he was in his mind getting a read on him, trying to figure out just what kind of a person he was and from what Derek could see of him so far he thought that he was an at least somewhat good person, Derek also saw Snow tend to hide behind Sebastian which would entail the fact that he is trustworthy to an extent." So where are all of you guys from and how did you find out about this place?"


Jacob had gone to gather wood deeper into the woods and hoped to find other things that could be useful for everyone. He felt the rumbling and after it had stopped he heard a loud scream in the distance, Jacob dropped what he had gathered so far and sprinted as fast as he could to where the screams were coming from. When he came upon the source it was a man and his limbs were pinned under a couple large trees and wasn't able to get out,"Please help me I think my bones are broken, I can't move at all!" the man pleaded to Jacob," alright just hang in there I'm gonna get you out I promise." he then tried to lift the tree's off of the man but they wouldn't budge, Jacob attempted to lift it once more and managed to rise it up a bit, but the minute he did the man began to scream even more in pain." hey man I know it hurts buts it's gonna get worse before it gets better so I need you to bear with me now, Come on I know you can do it just fight through the pain." Jacob said expressing concern in his voice, he then used all the strength he could muster Jacob picked up the tree enough to move it off and away from the man's body," alright your doing really good man just a few more and I can get you somewhere safe." One after another Jacob lifted each of the trees that had been crushing the man, Jacob then picked up the man and rushed as fast as he could. In an exhausted voice the only words the man could mutter out were,"...thank........you..."

Snow: She stopped her train of thought and looked at Derek as he asked them how they found this place. She had no idea. They had really just found her- Snow looked all around, her eyes wide. That shaking was intense. But when it stopped Snow stepped towards the treeline, her wings quivering. Her pointed ears strained and she heard the thundering steps of the army. "W..whats going on?"

"What what happened?


There was extreme seismic activity north of the camp. Would you like me to engage defensive protocols ls?


"No no that's not necessary, tape. Just warn me if something dangerous comes within a mile of the camp."


Understood. 


"What could it be?" Sebastian rubbed his chin in thought. 


"They said just pick a room somewhere in the camp? Wanna try to find somewhere to sleep?"

"Got it boss!" Lilly eagerly saluted then scavenged the room for anything she "thought was useful" aka looked cool 


"STILL LOOKING! Nope. Nope. Nu uh. Nope. Nada. Nope. Nope. Noooope. HA!-No."  Jasper tossed all the tools and weapons he found that weren't a hammer with a spike. "Oooooo what's this?" He slowly reached for a little faded grey-brown leather satchel. It had a single gold botton that held the flap down. He looked left and right then quickly stuffed the pack in his pocket. So slick. Shut it! 


Jasper twisted his lips and frowned disprovingly as he turned left and right looking for something else to tear apart in his quest. His request answered he saw a tool chest not too far away. Quickly he tore the lid up and and rummaged through. At first nothing but deeper in the chest he found just what he wanted. A hammer with a metal spike on the other side. "Bingo! Got the hammer with spike!"


THE TROOPERS marched forward, each few feet their numbers growing and growing, but seemed unalerted by Hunter or Chase

Snow: "Pick rooms?" She stopped listening to the forest and turned back to Sebastian. She was nervous... in all her other lives she had never slept in anywhere but the water. It was scary now in this life but it was her only home she knew. What would she do now... and it was certain she could not room with anyone. If they touched her she could ruin everything. Her eyes drifted down and she held herself in her arms, rubbing her shoulders.

After that she found the final hammer needed for Derek to start on the smelter "you two I found the last hammer we can get outta here now." Rose picked up all the stuff she found and stood at the door waiting for the two to be ready.


Jacob came sprinting into the camp with the man in his arms. "hey Derek I got this guy and he's hurt really bad and needs help stat." "Take him into the South West building and we'll take a look at him in just a bit we have more pressing matters to attend to at the moment."

He looked over to Lilly who was still scavaging for a moment, but with everyone else done she hurried over to leave with them. Jasper opened the door for Rose and Lilly and closed it behind himself. 





Jasper walked out swinging his two new friends in his hands as Derek asked for their support. "We might die? That sounds dull... well whatever it is........" Jasper's tongue was glued to his mouth. Three MORE people! And one of them WAS A ROBOT!

"And you can call me Alex James" Alex's suit steamed and quickly detached itself from him. He stepped out of the suit and ran his hands through his messy hair and ruffling it then extending a hand to shake Jasper's. "It's a pleasure to meet you"


Jasper's jaw dropped in awe when Alex stepped from his metal shell. He didn't expect there was someone INSIDE of the metal husk. 


Deep within Jasper's mind an internal struggle was brewing.


Two of them are back... I can feel it, Satan.

Jasper turned his attention to Snow finally. "And who are you, gorgeous?" He set the blades down and Jasper quickly grabbed her hand between his two and raising it to place a kiss, but Sebastian quickly pushed him away and away from contact causing him to stumble backwards but gain his balance. "Hey! What was that for?!"

Jasper's rings started to glow, but the orange, the right one, didn't hold very long. The left one, however, was glowing, but very dimly 


"Is that so? And why is that?" Jasper smiled kindly, but there was a difference in his eyes. He had more of a.. piercing stare. Like he were looking beyond Snow's eyes. He took a step towards her and Sebastian tensed, a half motion forward. Jasper stopped and turned his focus to Sebastian. "And who are you, Sebastian? Her body guard?" 


"I came from the heavens and drained the ocean for her to emerge. I consider myself her guardian angel." Sebastian felt a stronger sense of purpose and righteousness behind those words. Might he be on to something more, or had it been her power's effect on him?


"Guardian Angel. How..." He trailed and slowly smiled at Sebastian before breaking into a light chuckle. "Here, Bass. You have a purpose, a reason. You'll need these to defend yourself more than I will. Besides, Derek is gonna hook me up with a custom weapon from that things Remains. And maybe some more looking at all those pieces.. I think I'll call them..... the Remains Weapons. Trademark. Here" Jasper picked up the two blades by their handles and handed them over to Sebastian. Once his hands were free he clapped them together and gave a slight bow to Snow. "I'll be sure to keep a safe distance of personal space, but I am a hugger."


"Holy shit you too?"


"Ayyye!!"


 "Aaaaaaaye!!"


The two embraced in a passionate display of brotherly affection and laughed matching off in step raising one leg up after the other.


Sebastian turned to face Snow and shrugged, showing off his new weapons. "I guess he's pretty cool, huh? You know... I can't help but wonder.. I know this is wrong but.... want to take Alex's suit for a spin? He just left it there open"

Hunter ran back to camp losing chase behind.  He ran to where everyone was at.  


At this moment. A bunch of copies showed up as well making 10 Hunters.

Snow: She met his eyes but looked away quickly. She didn't know what to think of his stare. Maybe he was suspicious of her now... maybe he would ask her to leave. She looked up at Sebastian when he stood up for her, saying he was her guardian. A small smile appeared on her lips and her wings fluttered lightly, an involuntary response. Turning to Jasper she bows in return. "I really don't mean to be rude. I just... I don't have control of my powers yet." 


When Alex and Jasper started talking and Sebastian talked to her she bit her lip nervously. "I don't know if I should touch that thing... but if you want too I think it would be a lot of fun to see you in it." She laughs softly, her stance relaxing.

Sebastian chuckled and declinded. Alex might get upset, and Sebastian didn't want to cut relations with someone like Alex just yet. "Haha I'll have to pass this time. But maybe I'll ask him to teach me. 


Well... everyone's gone now." Sebastian looked around seeing the few people, Derek and Decimus, Jacob returning. "Derek said there was an army coming. Probably for their friend here Alex so kindly cut up. We should find you somewhere safe to be.. unless.... We might be able to utilize your capabilities for good. Short burts of contact haven't been that devastating it seems. Maybe you could act as an enhancer for the combatants?"

Sebastian heard running paces and turned to look over his shoulder to the entrance seeing Hunter and... Hunter. And Hunter and Hunter and there were.... 10 in total. Amazing... "I retract my statement, Snow. This guy might be our saving grace instead. Though your help would still be preferred. 


Based on gentle nature of the earthquake down here, and the size of the army from Derek's sensation, I'd say we have a few days to prepare. Maybe they were giving them a fighting chance this time. Wait a minute...


Sebastian looked over Snows head to the top to cabins and squinted, turned to the entrance, then turned back to Snow. "We walked North to get here. If they're coming from the North... do they know where the entrance is? Maybe we can use that to our advantage. They'll be forced to march around and pour into the one entrance. Let's set up some traps. Someone here might have a stick for that type of thing. Wanna go ask around? Maybe we'll make some new friends and teammates."

Snow: She looked away from Sebastian's eyes quickly and at her feet.

A copy flashes to her side saying

I'm sure you can try to control it.  Practice makes perfect. "


The copy vanishes and Hunter walks them


"Any food?  I need some food before I get to go kill them.  I haven't ate since I woke up.  Which.  Was a while ago.  I'm starving.  Want to have dinner?  We can all chat during it.  BONDING TIME! "

The copy vanishes and Hunter walks them


"Any food?  I need some food before I get to go kill them.  I haven't ate since I woke up.  Which.  Was a while ago.  I'm starving.  Want to have dinner?  We can all chat during it.  BONDING TIME! "

Snow: She looked away from Sebastian's eyes quickly and at her feet.

Sebastian glared at Hunter; slightly taken aback by the copy, and watching it very intently so close to Snow, he did listen to his words. He was right... practice made perfect. When it disappeared Sebastian faced Hunter at Snow's right. Part of him wanted to rebuttal, but he decided to respond first. "No idea. We were just about to go check actually. I'd invite you to join us, if you'd like." Sebastian was unsure if the clones were linked to Hunter as their main hub and thus shared their experiences with him or if they were completely independent from him, but he'd continue nevertheless, and if Hunter didn't understand: it wasn't Sebastian's place to explain. "Sometimes, its best to digest i situation and further develop a more adequate, appropriate, and effective response rather than immediately respond and 'argue.'" Sebastian took a step back and turned around, looking at the interior design of the camp. There were three, well he wanted to say cabins due to the connotation 'camp' but he found that to be almost disgraceful to their size. The cabins were more like mansions, multistory builds rather than. But with the amount of them there were, and the numbers rising as the others suggested, how could he be surprised? 


Sebastian noted around the fire, not too far from them actually, were stone benches. Triples. Long enough to hold maybe 3 or 4 comfortably, but triples nevertheless all the way around. 4 triples, similar to the amount of houses. But he did notice there WAS a house there. It was organized rubble now. Sebastian peered at the benches more closely. They were angled directly in front of the cabins. 


"Hey Snow, would you like to check out that cabin? With Hunter?"  He pointed to the North Eastern building. It was shorter than the other buildings, but much much more wide. There would probably be more bedrooms available there than anywhere. 


"Maybe we'll find something to eat and somewhere to sleep"

After leaving the supplies for Derek to finish construction, Lilly found herself bored beyond reason. Derek was too focused on construction, and she understood why; they only had enough material for Derek to get it right once, they couldn't afford him to rush and make mistakes. There were some noobies, but they seemed to be having a heated discussion. She thought it best to sneak up quietly and try to listen in as much as possible, rather than risk getting involved and making matters worse. She gracefully used the fire to hide, oddly perplexed but nevertheless satisfied it was close to her hair color. A few shades too light, but it provides excellent cover. Hunter said one of the noobs was stupid, that's gonna cause some tension. Lilly was increasingly distracted by Snow. Besides her adorable sense of style, or her lustrous gorgeous golden hair, or the gently shimmering wings protruding from her back that seemed far too delicate to be even real, and it still wasn't that this girl really really splash gas on an already ever burning flame, but rather that she was so.. contained. So timid and small. And hadn't spoken a peep in their argument. 


The guy wan- why did he have Jasper's swords. Did Jasper give them to him? Why? He heard about the army like she had. Why would he give up his only defense? Sure Derek was going to build something but what about the intermediate step between! What if they attack?! God he could be so stupid sometimes!


Lilly shook her head. Her spiraled thoughts made her fall behind the conversation. She groaned to herself and tried to catch back up

"How is this is not evolution?!" Jasper lead the two over to the benches in front of the Southern Eastern building. They took a seat and didn't miss a beat 


"Because if I reproduce, assuming I even can, my offspring would just be human. As well, no genetic mutations Jasper. Lab grown and chemcial triggered."

"Wow... all I got out of this were some cool rings. I've caught them glowing occasionally. But that's all they've ever done"


"Like your blue one?" He pointed to Jasper's hand. 


"Huh... would you look at that"


"I am"


"Eat a dick"


"Some pus- you know what I'm not even going to finish that thought. So what makes it glow?"


"I'm not actually sure you know? It just does. It's only done it a few times. When the beast exploded and when I touched Snow. It hasn't stopped since I touched her actually"


Alex listened to Jasper, but stared at the flames. He looked back to Jasper when he mentioned touching Snow. "That's riiiiight... you know this might seem crazy but I'm gonna blurt it out. Have you tried touching the fire."


Jasper was a little taken back by his question. No he hadn't tried that. 


"Like I know what you're thinking but look. It's so similar to the light coming from your ring's gem." 


Alex was right. He nailed the hammer right on the head actually. Jasper turned his hand over and looked at the light then stared at the fire. "He might lose his hand"


Third person was weird to Alex honestly but he went. "You're right. But think of the rewards."


"If any" Jasper mumbled. What did he have to lose really? 


Jasper stood confidently and strutted over to the fire pit. It was cool, much too cool to be fire really. He ring actually glowed much, much brighter the closer and closer he got to the pit. Once he was as close as he could be, the rainbow refraction of light cascading from his ring and landing on the ground, though mostly consumed by the glow of the sun, was captivating. Jasper slowly reached his hand into the fire, afraid at first, but inhaling deeply and plunging it in

At first nothing happened. The flames just tickled along Jasper's skin. He wondered if that was the intended effect though. He felt the cool fire creeping up his arm, in his bloodstream, between his pours, crawling up and into his heart, pumping and flowing it rapidly. Jasper ignored the feeling at first, checking it to gravity stress on his extended arm. But once the flames reached his heart he felt like a burning kick and he yanked his hand out. The moment he did, the flames changed color from the bottom up, growing and burning a blinding vibrant bright White.

Warmth radiated down from the sun to the beach and was absorbed into the sand particles. Jesse too basked in the warmth of the suns glow. It was warmer than usual, warmer than before. To Jesse's surprise when he awoke he was in a completely different outfit. His shoulders had some sort of solid hard plates, detailed every well with the waves. The plates were sort of rested comfortably on his outer layer jacket. It was made of rough and hard... scales. It flowed to a folded end down his legs and over the leg braces, made of more solid hardened material. His under clothing and gloves were more... leather like. Like rough skin 





Beside him laid a spear a little over five feet, almost as tall as him. The handle was made of some sort of fish tail that molded into the end of the staff. All the way up to the head, which looked like a sea dragon. Out of its mouth came a blade about a foot long itself. It was eyeballed maybe 4" wide at its widest point, almost the tip, that came to an extremely sharpened point. In the center of the blade was some sort of... he was unsure. It was blue, but for the most part didn't seem to have much room to move around. 





Jesse was having trouble recalling events. Last he remembered he was swimming to the voice. He didn't know if he had made it, or if he even could. He was certain he was a goner. He reflected back to the intense pressure he felt on his chest. That pressure wasn't gone actually. Instead, it filled his whole torso. He touched his chest gently, no pain. Only the pressure from within. He hoped it would pass and gave the ocean one more stare. He didn't think much, just enjoyed its beauty. He rose up, grabbed the spear, and marched back to the forest. He needed to catch back up to Snow and Alex and Sebastian. How long had he been out anyways?


He ran up to the forest line and to the peaks of man made structure over the lines. A faint blue flick shot white, and if it hadn't of changed Jesse was unsure he would have even noticed it. But the change in light was so powerful and apparent. That must have been where they were. He rushed as quickly as he could to the white flames

"Hey, Decimus wait up!" Jade yelled as she ran the field to catch up to him. He was headed inside of the South Western building since he didn't quite have a place to stay yet. Decimus turned back to see who called his name and smiled and waited for her to catch up when he saw it was Jade. "What's going on Jade?"


"Did you hear? There's an army marching down here to try and kill us. "Yeah.. Hunter went to scope it out a few days ago" "Why do you think we're all being targeted so badly?" "I don't know.. but theres too many unanswered questions for us to not take notice." "We could hardly defend ourselves last time! I know Derek is working on the forge, and you seem like a patient man, but I think I know where Rose, Derek, Jacob, and now Jasper all got some weapons from. There has to be some sort of chest of things we can use inside of that building they had ran out of. You wanna go check it out?" 


Decimus didn't know if he should go with her or not. It could be one of their personal supply. "Don't you think we should be prepared Decimus?" "Well... yes." "Then let's go" 


Jade led the way, opening the door for Decimus. She didn't know where these weapons were, but with his help they would find out. She confidently walked the foreign building, coming to a set of stairs leading to a basement. She believe it would be best to check the lowest levels and work up, so she took the staircase down to the basement. Once she flipped on the light she smiled and nodded successfully. "I guess we should just look around then"

"What's this?" The raggedy hermit crawled along his stone floor to the other side. His dirty and torn holey robe dragged against the floor. There was a door he crawled to, as hold and ruin as the room he resided, but the door had no handle, and under it poured a brilliant white light. "It's changed again... how odd." The hermit put his hand on the door and felt how warm it was. Maybe the warmth would return to his room, no more cold. He crawled back across the floor and climbed into his bed, grabbing yet another tomb off of the desk and flipping its pages open. After about a third of the book his stomach started to twist and rumble. He pet it and continued his book. He would find more bugs later

Rose came outside with Lilly and Jasper to see that seemingly everyone entire camp was outside, she then saw Jacob running towards her with someone in his arms. Rose moved to give Jacob room to safely into the building watching him as he went, she wanted to know who that was Jacob held. Returning to what she was doing before she went to Derek and showed him what she found," hey Derek take a look I got you your hammers and I found this flame blower thing, I though you could put it to good use." she said as she showed all of her findings," Thanks Rose this will make building the forge much faster. I was actually about to work on that right now." Derek said as he made his way to the piles of materials that the others made for him.


Jacob ran into the building as fast as possible and found a room available, he then set the man on the bed to rest not knowing what else to do he quickly left the building and ran back into Rose,"hey Rose what's everyone doing out here is something going on?" " I don't know maybe I'm just as curious as you, let's go to the others and check out what's going on." the duo then made their way to the other campers wondering what's going on.

"Look at this" A blade fell and clattered to the ground as Jade pulled out a long thin sharp and solid metal with a gentle detailed spiraled foaled handle twisted to end with twin claws diagonal of each other. Resting in a squat on top of the handle sat a little golden.. she wasn't sure what it was, A griffon maybe, it's wings bold and strong. Jade held the Rapier up for Decimus to see. "Oops.. sorry I'll pick that up. Look!"


Decimus admired the Rapier and held it up, point to the ceiling. It was almost weightless. The only weight he felt was maybe a half pound from the handle. It was a marvel, but not Decimus' style. He started to hand it back to her and vocalize it weren't really his speed, but she cut him off. "Hold on to it for me then? It's orange. Maybe Jasper might like it." "That's a.. simple but valid point."


The blade Jade dropped now laid propped back up on the shelf. It was a nice and strong black metal sword, but Jade didn't find any pull to it herself 


Decimus walked over to a wooden chest and rested his hand on it's ancient wood. Decimus smiled a momen and lifted it up. Inside were various sets of twin blades. But there was one set that stood out not for him, but maybe Jade would agree 


"Look at these. Do you think maybe Snow would like these?"


Jade was in agreement. The shades of blue with an icy finish definitely screamed Snow. What Jade liked most about them was that her potential blades had the missing center that was sharpened at the end to make another blade. The lethality was stunning





"I'm sure she'll love them. Here I'll trade you. Hold this staff I was looking at and I'll hold the swords for her." "Sure seems fair." Decimus handed over and traded the twin blades for a very cool looking staff. It wasn't very tall, maybe 2 or 3 ft. It definitely wasn't made for physical combat. But Decimus couldn't let go. There was something about the little orb in the skull of a snake's mouth with its crown pointed tips. He needed a combat weapon, but maybe he could find use for this too. He thought back to the purple fire within his dreams. This could help. 





"Jade my style is more... I need both hands utilized. But not on a giant sword."


"How's this?" Jade has remembered against the wall a little ways there was a decently shaped double blade staff. Upon further inspection it was screwed together in the center. With the staff on his back, Decimus picked up the double blade and twisted it around a bit. It felt decently comfortable enough. He gave some push to the center and after some heavy resistance the blades started to unscrew. He confirmed they were twin blades that attached. THAT was something he could get behind


 


"Are we fully stocked?"


"Yeah. Do you have a weapon?"


"Yeah I got this neato wand of some sort. I mean I have a lot of books and chemicals in my room to work with and I'm not very... hands on. It makes sense, it feels right.


"That's all that matters Jade. Then we're good. Let's go back. Take Snow hers and I'll take this Rapier to Jasper. This wasn't a bad idea."


"Not in the slightest. After this I'm going to go hold up in my room again. Maybe I'll get some more direction with this. What about you."


"I was thinking of going into the forest for a quick session and practicing out there. I'll get the door for you"


"Thank you, and that's not a bad idea. In fact I think I'll join you. Let's meet back up at my room to get some tombs."


"Sounds like a plan. I see Jasper, Snow is probably over there with Sebastian."

"Ooo I fancy those. They are really nice.  I think they fit Snow quite well.  I must leave and take some of the army out.  Is there anything that needs to be said to me before I go? "


He sits by the gate waiting patiently.  


"Answer.  Go deal with them and by us some time.  Make sure you come from the back so they think we are flanking.  For now,  I'm gonna stay here to handle some things. "


His sword goes off into the forest in the direction right of the army so he could flank.
