Snow: She nodded and thought of cooking again but needing to be safe how to hide her skin more... and suddenly it was like the air around her shimmered (her glamour but she didn't know how to use it or what it was) and poof she was in a long sleeved shirt with an apron and some shorts. The shorts were paired though with thigh high socks that covered almost all of her legs. She laughed a little as she touched her head and saw her bandanna to keep her hair back that had been annoying her. She tied the apron and smiled at Sebastian as he asked her to set the dinner plates. "Yep, no problem." She hummed and went to the cabinets, pushing up on her tip toes to reach them as she pulled them down one by one so as not to drop them.

Bum-bum. Oh.. my...  gasp... Sebastian was in awe. He inhaled his last breath and held it during all of her glory. He didn't dare miss a moment and slowly smile in his awe. She was beyond his comparison of beauty. He had never experience such a wonderful creature... and her casual reply pierced his heart, causing it to beat once noticeably. The pain set and Sebastian crossed his hand over his chest so he could lightly bow to her. "Thank you, Snow" He used the bow as an excuse to close his eyes, a jolt of horror shocked his veins. He straighened and spun lightly on his heel, forward and out to his mission.

turning the corner, each step away from Snow left like knives were being stabbed into its arteries directly one by one. He chuckled at the thought, it was like his heart was freezing over. He stopped before the stairway and looked back. Best case scenario, all of Snow's water was removed from him when he made contact with her, and the sensations he felt were just the remaining effects wearing off. Or it truly did seep through his veins and into his heart. He placed his hand over his heart and considered that. Might his heart actually freeze over? Snow wouldn't know, and asking would only upset her- he didn't want to upset her. He prayed distancing himself from her only metaphorically hurt and wasn't actually physically damaging him..

Sebastian walked out into the night sky, slightly blinded by the flames. They burns so strongly, pure white in color. Like a tower of solid fire. He didn't know where everyone was so he hoped this option worked bested:

"IF ANYONE'S AWAKE, SEBASTIAN AND SNOW MADE STEAKS AND SIDES FOR DINNER IN THE NORTH EASTERN BUILDING! NORTH EASTERN!"

Ow.. his voice wasn't prepared for that. He coughed a bit a left the door open going back inside and to the kitchen joining Snow to make plates

Snow: She hummed as she looked up at Sebastian walking in and gestured at the set dining table. She undid her apron and her bandanna. Running her fingers through her hair she sat down at the table and drank her water. "So has it begun to wear off yet?" She asked hopefully.

Beauty overpowered Sebastian. His icy chest melted away from the fire in his heart. He couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth, she didn't want him anyways. "I feel great I think it's working. I apologize if I went too far before."

Snow: She smiled, grateful he was unaffected again. "I'm glad... I never want to force you to feel affection for me Sebastian. You have become really dear to me and I would hate to loose you." She bit her lip, shy now and cleared her throat. "So, wheres the food?"

Peace and serendipity, sun rays beamed brightly, radiantly, happily down, laying on the gentle stream that raced a dash down and around the rocks in its path. A deer, ears twitching, lapped the water of the stream. Gruuunt. Eeeuhh. Uugg. The deer looked up to the strange sounds. It came from up, up up, the bridge way. The deer lowered its head back into the stream

Other little blue eyes came out of their homes on the hill, eyes closed, light extinguished, yawning and stretching. They blinked in confusion to the grunting noises then exclaimed when they saw their fellows pulling something big! Feast!

They all ran back in their homes and poured off the tree, falling on the bridge and landing on their backs. They hopped back up and rushed to each other's sides, grabbing Jesse's legs and lifting him to join the group that was dragging him by his arms.

Some of them spoke to each other, scratching and screeching, and others bumped them, angrily replying

They carried Jesse across the bridge to the Heishaw Palace.* Inside, they dropped him at the Heishaw's feet and he stood from his throne, branch-staff decorated with leaves spiraled at the end coated in solid sap. He wore a cape made of maple leaves. Their autumn red permanently captured in a coat of sap solidified and smoothed to be slightly malleable. They didn't heat like humans so they never worried about the sap sticking to them.

Jesse groaned as his vision slowly returned. He saw the wooden faces encasing the little blue dots that caused him to holler in fear.

Her kind words filled Sebastian with a sense of joy. Maybe he would be okay, maybe there was a chance. "no one else ate dinner with us, probably asleep.. or my bad directions... We should put the left overs away"

"Yeah.. the remaining should be all left in the kitchen I'm sure." Sebastian retrieved their dishes from the table and followed after Snow. In the kitchen he placed the plates into the sink and ran water over them to loosen the mess. Wiping his hands on his shirt, he turned and leaned back on the sink. "Okay... where would we find containers?" He hadn't found those yet, and he also hadn't checked the cabinets in the island. Opening them up he found plastic containers stacked on top of each other and their corresponding lids next to them. "Bingo. Hey, Snow.. how many containers do you think we need? Look at the stovetop real quick. How much food is left?"

He rose back up with three different sized containers: one deeper for the steaks, one longer for vegetables, and one circular for the potatoes. "These?"  He brought the containers over to the stove and placed them down on the counter as he moved the food into its respective container, closing the lid on each one. He put the food in the fridge and finally moved the pots and pans to the sink as well to wash. In the empty sink he ran water until it was warm and poured in the soap. His sleeves were too long so he slid them up past his elbows as he swished the filling water around to make more bubbles. The dishes were moved over once the sink filled to an optimal level and Sebastian went to work washing the few dishes that were there. The water was scalding, but to him it felt somewhat relieving. They stung past burning to a deep rooted cold that probably damaged his nerves, but he didn't care. His eyes stared intently out the window and focused on the flicks of the flames as he finished. He mind was stoned and his body conditioned to experience anything that could distract him from the burbling pain that boiled deep in his chest. Once the dishes were washed he rinsed them in equally scorching temperatures, so much so steam started to fog the glass. The dishes were rinsed quickly and place in their spots to dry. He took one more deep breath and turned the water off and turned to Snow smiling. "That was nice, thank you. What should we do now?"

Snow: She frowned slightly and took a step towards him, looking at his arms in the scorching water. She reached out to touch the water and bit her lip to keep a yelp in, pulling back. "Sebastian are you really okay? That can't be good for you." Her blue eyes darkened as she grew sad in the thought of him in pain because of her.

Sebastian peered at his forearms as well. They were a faint pink, almost salmon pink. A faint smirk twitched his lip and he thought I forgot to dry off... He looked around for a towel or napkin, pulling a few off the roll in his reply, "Hmm? Oh yeah... I didn't quite notice how hot the water was... I was lost staring at the fire. You needn't worry." He extended his dried arms to her for examination, they were already fading back to his normal complexion. "I'll be more careful" The look in her eye pulled the ends of the knot that had replaced his heart and tightened more. He knew it was his fault, he had to be more careful. He needed to hide his needs and his pains from her. He kept telling himself, it'll pass, it passed for everyone else. He didn't consider being around Snow's constant aroma is what aggravates the reminence of her within him and kept him in such a constant fury

Jesse scrambled back quickly, running right back into a wall. The small building shook and all the little treelings squealed, jumping and flailing their little arms. Jesse frantically looked around, but their panic threw him into a state of attention. "Hey! Calm down!" The Heishaw screeched out louder than his people and pointed his staff at Jesse. His expression was angry. Jesse glared back when his passenger finally spoke again. They have the ssssstaff... Killll them alllllll. They also have my spear. How do you intend for me to do that? Then play niccee, Jesssse. Jesses put his hands up in surrender and the Heishaw put the end of his staff down. He walked over to Jesse using his staff as a walking stick and looked up to him, blinked a few times, then bowed. All of the other treelings looked around at each other but quickly followed after their king.

Jesse had just enough space to stand, but halfway up figured it'd be easier on his back to sit down. He crossed his legs and waited for the treelings to finish.

The treelings finished and the Heishaw goes on a tyrant. Jesse's failed to comprehend anything he said, but he did make hand motions that kind of made sense. Here's what Jesse got: one of them, big, outside, him, both arms, come back. "Wait... one of you, bigger than you, is probably lost out there somewhere, and you want me to bring him.. back?" The Heishaw jeered, his eyes squinted with joy. He extended his staff to Jesse and shook it, but pulled it back angrily and yelled at Jesse when he reached for it. He pointed with his little tree arm to his Heishaw staff and then himself proudly poking his chest out. He pointed to Jesse while sqeaking and then one of his people then his staff. "You guys have my staff? What about my spear?" The Heishaw jumped in earnest and flailed his free arm about. Jesse took that as a yes. Not long after his spear was being fed into the room. About halfway before the Heishaw cried, and it was being pulled back out. He stomped back and forth left and right to kind of demonstrate to Jesse what their guy was like. He shook a bit too. "Wet? Furry?" The Heishaw shook his head then pointed and jumped excitedly. Jesse nodded and crawled on out. "I'll find him. But you better have my staff waiting." Heishaw nodded rapidly and Jesse stretched on top of the bridge. The treelings handed him his spear and pointed down over the bridge following the stream. Jesse peered over. It seemed like a fall but... Trussssst me.

Jesse gulped and put a hand up over the bridge. He climbed himself halfway on and looked down again. The fall looked much much muuch to large. "No no I can't no I ca-AAAAAAAAH!!!" The treelings pushed Jesse the rest of the way. They looked over and watched him splash in the water. Not to long after his head poked back up and he thrashed around, turning to the bridge and flipping the treelings off as he was washed down shore

Decimus and Jade looked back at all the steps they had climbed since they found this staircase. They could barely see where it had started. They looked up to where they had to go. Still more trees and stairs. They groaned and plopped down on the halfway point. Jade reached into her bag and pulled out a bottle of water. She took a sip and offered some to Decimus who did the same. They leaned against the rock wall and stared out into the forest.

"Can you see the camp?"

"Hmm?"

"Can you see the camp? From here."

"No.."

"We've walked so far away... do you think we will be able to make it back?"

"Do you remember the way back from the stairs?"

"...."

"....."

"..."

".."

"We should have brought a map."

"I'm sure we'll figure it out."

"Ready to continue?"

Decimus groaned and got up, offering his hand to Jade and pulling her up. The two patted themselves off and quickly picked back up pace and walked up the next flight of stairs

Snow: She bit her lip and looked at him. She ran her fingers over his pink arms, not touching him, just the air around him. "I'm sorry. It looks painful. Maybe we should get Alex to examine you, he does have that fancy suit and all." She pulled her hands back from him and smiled reassuringly. It must have been her. It had too... she was the cause of this new strange air between them.

"No! No no.." He shook his sleeves down. Was that jealousy? "That won't be-"

KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK "Helloooooooooo? Is anyone home?"

Sebastian looked to Snow confused. "Uh... in the kitchen" He replied a few moments later a woman's face with vibrant blue hair shot around the corner. "Hey!-Oooh..." Lilly didn't expect they had come in here ooooh this was the grace she had heard so much about. That adorable woman from before... and that delicious man she was with. But... something seemed tense..

She came fully around the corner

IMG_0188.JPG

She skipped over to Snow immediately and reached to greet herself, but Sebastian extended his hand out to her to stop her. But she didn't stop. She let his hand stop her, their skin slapping just below her neck. She looked up at Sebastian angrily. "Heeeey!! What was that for?"

Sebastian looked down at his hand. It felt.. free. He wiggled the fingers and looked up to Lilly. Her angry expression didn't match this at all. "Wellll?"

"Oh I uh.." Sebastian shook his head a bit and closed his eyes. "I--I think I should sit down and rest for a bit.." Sebastian took a few steps and staggered causing Lilly to rush to his side to help him up. "Hey can you give me a hand?" She asked as she tried to carry him back to a chair in the dining room

Snow: She looked up at Lilly and yelped as she tried to touch her, jumping back. As Sebastian staggered she grabbed her hand to keep from reaching for him. "I.. I can't touch him." She looked at Lilly, helpless to the situation. "I um... I can go try to find someone. I'll be back." She backed up from the woman and Sebastian and turned on her heel, heading for the door. "I'll get Alex, okay Sebastian!"

Sebastian groaned in opposition so Lilly plopped him down on a chair and groaned as she bent and stretched her back. Lilly yelled back in agreement to Snow to get Alex. She told her last she saw him with Jasper they were with Derek at the forge by the SW building.

Sebastians head was pounding and throbbing he farther and farther Snow got from him. His ears were ringing deafening, like his eardrums had exploded. He grabbed at his head in agony, pushing his palms into his temples. "Hey hey hey shhhhh" Lilly eased Sebastian's hands from his face and gently ran her hands over his temples. Sebastian slowly came to ease and the pain subsided. He slowly opened his eyes and was oddly disappointed at who it was, but he understood the necessity. He smiled thanked her, but kindly pushed her back by her shoulders and stood up. "Thank you, but I'm sorry.. I need to catch up to Snow..." He hesitated.. taking a step from Lilly was like stepping back into the cold outdoors.... he looked back to Lilly who was leaning away from him then stumbled back. A breeze tingled Sebastian's pores giving him goosebumps. Quickly he nodded to Lilly and rushed after Snow.

Lilly looked around the dining room perplexed and anxious. It was a beautiful setting, and it brought her to ease. As she calmed, her skin tingled and gave her shivers. She shivered a bit, enough to ruffle her dress. Lilly smoothed down the sides though they puffed up nevertheless. "Oookay.. they're a little weird.... Why can't she touch him? Was he sick? Did he just infect me? Is that why I shivered?! ....

No.. cough cough I feel fine.....

Why did he hesitate like that?" Lilly pulled out the chair and swung it in front of her using the backrest as support. "He was so eager to go... why didn't he hop up and run?" She spun around the chair and plopped down in the seat and crossed her legs at her ankles. There was only one logical reason why Sebastian would hesistste like that.. "He wants me"

Derek wiped the sweat from his brow having finally finished crafting the sword Jasper had requested:910e1620-6abf-4eb2-8b10-88473373197a.png

(Jasper's Sword)

As Derek polished the blade he heard people coming towards him. He turned to see Jasper and what seemed to be an armored person heading his way,"Hey Jasper I have your sword ready, ah who's the guy with the fun outfit?"

Jacob had finally gotten better after his latest burst of pain and decided he would go check on Derek with Rose," I'm curious just how far that bastard got built." " I am too, I wonder how rough the forge must have made him."

"Ahhh thank you!" Jasper grabbed the handle of the sword and twisted it around. It was heavy enough to streign his muscles- perfect. It felt more comfortable with two hands and he pointed the tip into the ground. He gently placed it down, but the tip pierced to the base and sank into the ground. Jasper whistled at Derek's handiwork. He pulled it back out and looked it over, dragging his hand over the top. It was cool... very cool, frosty even.

"Yeah that's me, Alex James. But you can just call me Alex. Im the one who cut up the mechanical remains, no big deal or anything.

Alex flexed

Do you have somewhere to put it Jasper?"

"Naaaah I just thought I'd hold on to it.... where the hell AM I going to put this?"

"I'm sure we can find something back at the lab"

"The what?"

"The- I came, you know what we'll talk it over while we go to it."

Jasper opened his mouth to respond but closed it and shook his head.

"Hey, Tape. Do we have something back at the lab that can hold Jasper's sword?"

"Who are y- Like a magnet. I needs to just attach to my back. That would be soooo much cool that pulling it out of a sheath, the Rapier already had a sheath!" Jasper covered his mouth and Alex raised an eyebrow to him. "Okay...

Anything magnetic?"

We do have super magnets for manufacturing purposes, but filed experiment logs show that there had been tests run for a chest-back container module.

"So? Anything? Anything at all?"

"Yeeeah.. we have a container module prototype.. let's check that out."

Jasper pumped his fisted and raised the sword above his arms. "Alright enough of that. I'll just bench it until we get there. I need it to be weightless anyways."

Alex admired Jasper's weapon too. It was a crisp weapon. It suited him.

The two thanked Derek once more and left out of the brush. Snow was rushing towards them. Alex waved and Jasper swing his sword in a waving motion

Snow: She ran up to them, her eyes worried but stopped a good two feet away just to make sure they didn't touch her. "It's Sebastian. I touched him and now he's... I don't know. He says it faded but that has to be it right? Please look at him Alex, find out whats wrong with him." She sniffled, wiping tears from her eyes. "He's become a very dear friend and the thought that I hurt him... it breaks my heart inside." She rubbed at her chest where her heart should be and bit her lip.

"Hey hey hey don't worry about it Snow"

"We'll make sure he's okay."

The look on Snows face squeezed their lungs. They never thought seeing her cry would hurt like this, they never even thought about her crying. Sebastian was their friend so Alex would have been happy to help, but seeing Snow's emotions pour determined them even more. They both saluted to Snow and parted around her, going to the house.

Sebastian walked halfway down the hall, each step feeling like he was deeper and deeper within a meat freezer. Not to long ago he couldn't get Snow out of his mind but now.. he feared being around her. But he was her guardian, how could he let this happen? Sebastian felt so cold inside. Part of him longed for her, his heart still beat for Snow. But his mind warned him against such a fate. His hands covered his chest and he groaned under his breath. If their lips collided once... if he disappeared...... He couldn't leave her.. he better let Snow know he was okay..

Alex and Jasper looked to each other and stepped up into the NE building. Alex reached for the door knob but it swung open instead. Sebastian stood in the doorway. Alex jumped back and bumped into Jasper, Sebastian took a step back into the house

Sebastian looked out to Alex and Jasper, Snow behind them. She really did get Alex. It didn't as much as he thought it would... Alex is just here to help...

"Yo Sebastian, Snow said you needed my help. She said you touched her and you're acting funny.. you good? Tape, run diagnostic on Sebastian, and you can relay through me so Snow is updated too.

Sebastian blushed red that was only fueled by "Well thiiiis is awkward"

"Hey hey hey don't worry about it Snow"

"We'll make sure he's okay."

The look on Snows face squeezed their lungs. They never thought seeing her cry would hurt like this, they never even thought about her crying. Sebastian was their friend so Alex would have been happy to help, but seeing Snow's emotions pour determined them even more. They both saluted to Snow and parted around her, going to the house.

Sebastian walked halfway down the hall, each step feeling like he was deeper and deeper within a meat freezer. Snow: "Oh god is he going to be okay?" She gasped, covering her mouth, tears spilling out. "Sebastian why didn't you say anything sooner?! Where is the woman from before? Why aren't you laying down?!" She was panicking, hyperventilating. "Oh god what can I do? I don't know what to do."

"Snow, Snow, SNOW! GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF! God I've always wanted to yell that. Sweetie he's fine, I'm sure he didn't know, right Sebastian? Exactly. Look at him- he's oblivious! But don't worry. Uncle Jasper knows just the trick! We're gonna drain all of the water from his body!"

"I was on board for so long too.. you can't drain all of the water from a body..! It's practically all water!"

"AYE! I think I know a thing or two about the body okay robo boy? But no you do make a point that might kill him..... any options that won't kill him? Maybe something a little more.. helpful?"

"We'll he SEEMS healthy otherwise.. tell me, Sebastian. How do you feel?"

Sebastian stood in front of the two bickering about his life as if it were a disposable battery. I didn't set well with him. Reviewing his condition he realized he was worse off than he thought. His brain and heart were the most inflicted, and that made sense to him. Part of him wish Alex has done a full thorough examination, even his cellular replication, but maybe that was a lot to ask for.

How did he feel? He felt fine, he did. There was little wrong with him other than Snows sadness. Seeing her sob pained him, but seeing her bawl sent him into a frenzy. His heart rate picked up and all that fear of her he had before vanished. One the first tear slid down her face and hit the ground, it were like Alex and Jasper vanished. They were no loner being processed by Sebastian's mind. All he saw was Snow. He walked between the two as if they weren't there and went straight to her, crouching down on one knee and looking up to her.

"I don't think lying down will do much help.. Snow the only thing that can fix me is serving you. These feelings... these feelings aren't because of your water, not fully. It may have been the catalyst, but my thoughts, my choices, my feelings are my own. Do not cry, Snow. You waste precious water." He stood back up in front of her. He extended his hands out to her, palms up. He didn't expect her to touch him but rather hover her hands above his. He wasn't sure where he got the idea, but he liked it. Maybe it could be their thing

Snow: She looked at him and sniffled as she tried to stop crying, her hand reached and hovered over his, so close that in a breath they could be touching. She sank to her knees in front of him and breathed shakily trying to pull memories from her past life into this one. Yes... this had happened before. An artist, Pablo, had started to go crazy for she had turned to water when they had gone swimming in the moon light. He had breathed her in when he had attempted to drown in that lake. He had wanted to die with her all around him. She had been in control of her powers though and had pulled herself together, pulled the water from him and left him on the lake shore perfectly dry. She looked at Sebastian and closed her eyes, her eyelashes wet with tears and ark against her cheeks. She breathed in deeply, trying desperately to imagine the feeling she had had in that lake. Pulling herself together. Drops of water floated out of Sebastian's throat and she leaned in closer, her lips hovering over his as the water hit her skin and melted in. She pulled back when her skin started prickling again and the chemicals started rushing to her lips. She stood up and stepped back away from him a good three feet. She could feel it now. A single drop of her still left in him. She didn't have enough control to focus that hard on pulling herself together and not letting her need to love get in the way. She couldn't multitask. "I got most of it." She whispered so silently it was like a breath. She felt her cheeks warm and wanted to get out of there so bad. Her wings sprung forward and she pushed off with her legs to fly over them and landed on the porch, biting her lip as she ran inside.
