"AHA!  PLAN! Join them.  Infiltrate their system.  Start killing them off 1 by 1. And and.  Since I have powers.  That aren't fully recooped. I can work on those.  GREAT PLAN! "


Chase walks up behind him.  


"Hunter.  That is the most idiotic plan I've ever heard. You'll get killed with that means.  I saw something you didn't.  A big guy.  Have no idea where he came from.  But there is a big guy that'll rip you to pieces.  But that's what I want.  So go ahead brother. "


Chase starts to walk away.  But an idea pops into hunters head.  Hunter pushes chase and runs away towards the camp.  


Chase gets immediately angry and runs after him.  


They fall into the holding of all of the foot soldiers.  They look upon wonder as they grab for their swords. 


At this hunter stops and grabs noblesse and slashes at Chase.  Chase backing up.  


"Draw attention and make them want me"


Is what ran through hunters head.  Chase being his egotistical self didn't care to understand what hunter was doing.  He just thought how embarrassing it was for him to attack in such a place.  


Chase causes duplicates and attack at once.  Not only at hunter.  But at the guards around them so there were less watchers. 


Hunter jumps up and creates duplicates.  Them vanishing/Dashing to behind chase. They all strikes at once.  Damaging chase.  


"FUCK! "

Her taking that step.., it was such a small step in light but to him... she had closed worlds between them. He could stay forever like this. All Sebastian needed was to feel her warmth under his... did he have what it takes to make her stronger as well? He would surely try. "Should we try to train again, Snow?"

Snow: She nodded, looking at him with her soft eyes. Her heart sang for the possibility of spending more time with him. "I would really like that Sebastian." She whispered, her wings fluttering in an imaginary breeze. Sure her mind still held the doubts of before... visions of him laying on the ground, weak and drained still danced in her subconscious... but her heart... oh her heart filled her with powerful images of his smile. His laugh. His hand actually touching hers. She shook her head, blushing when she realized how long she must have been staring at him. She let her foot guide her back a step and she coughed, trying to break this moment between them. "We should find Jasper and Alex. Um... make sure they know you are okay now." She went and started to walk around him to the door.

The larger mech trounced off, leaving his heavy impression in the earth

Snow: She nodded, looking at him with her soft eyes. Her heart sang for the possibility of spending more time with him. "I would really like that Sebastian." She whispered, her wings fluttering in an imaginary breeze. Sure her mind still held the doubts of before... visions of him laying on the ground, weak and drained still danced in her subconscious... but her heart... oh her heart filled her with powerful images of his smile. His laugh. His hand actually touching hers. She shook her head, blushing when she realized how long she must have been staring at him. She let her foot guide her back a step and she coughed, trying to break this moment between them. "We should find Jasper and Alex. Um... make sure they know you are okay now." She went and started to walk around him to the door.

Sebastian unfurled his fingers from hers and let her step away. Her cough tugged the corner of his lips up a second and he nodded in agreement to her suggestion whilst taking a step out of her away and following her to the door. He closed it behind them and safely made his way down the main staircase. He was extremely cautious on stairs now.. Sebastian's strides glided him across the carpet it marble tile, and he pulled the entrance open for Snow. For dramatic purposes, he closed his eyes and bowed into his free arm. "Milady.."

"Uhhh... hey there big guy.. heh.. you seem to be enjoying story time..."


Sniffle, sniffle "Get him teddy!"


"Ahhhh!!" 





Jesse stumbled backwards and rolled away from the incoming fist. The earthling punched a dent in the mound trying to crush Jesse. 


He hopped back to his feet and pointed his spear at the giant treeling's neck. "Hey! Back back!" It grabbed the base of the spear and swung Jesse around, legging go and throwing him splashing back into the stream. 


He scrambled to get air and process what was going on. The little girl was screaming, the ground was shaking, darkness quickly cast a shadow over the stream. Jesse's head bobbed up to gasp for air and immediately in alarm ducked back under and pushed away, the giant earthling coming crashing into the stream and pushing the water away


Jesse's front slammed into a rock and he wrapped his arms around it, holding on for dear life. Did you ssssee above the waterrr, whyyyy did the girl sssscream?


Jesse huffed trying to catch his breath, and before he could reply the rock he held was kicked from its placement. He screamed in terror, flailing in the air, tumbling on the ground. He quickly got up and looked around; where did his spear go? He looked to the edge of the stream and saw it being washed down. It looked like it could get caught.. if he were lucky- to his right the earthling charged at him, splashing in the stream and pushing the water down with more force, there went his luck. 


He ran along side the stream and jumped in. He paddled as hard as he could down the steam to catch his spear the earthling quickly gaining on him. Help me swim! What kind of water demon are you?! Jesse's mind only received a chuckle in response. He pushed himself harder, grabbing the end of the spear. He turned it around and held it steady as the earthling attempted to crush him. The blade pierced effortlessly through its foot and it reared back, roaring in agony 


"TEDDY!"


Jesse was climbing out of the stream while the earthling fell in pain. His head whipped quickly to the girl. She was standing far back on a rock edge beside a green... spirit? 





Jesse scrambled onto the land and stared the green thing down. The little girl clutched its side and sniffled into its robes. She was glowing, sparking, and ran behind the green thing, vanishing. 


The earthling rolled on its back roared in pain. Jesse looked back down into the stream at it, then back to the green thing. It was walking away and back into the forest. He could chase it down.... he cursed himself for stabbing the earthling and he made his way back over to it. He collected mud and grass, maybe he could patch it up 


Jesse hopped down the stream side and made his way to the earthlings foot. His big body was working as a dam blocking the water... that wasn't very good. "Hey buddy... I'm gonna help okay? Just stay still" Jesse went down to the earthlings foot and attempted to smear the mud on. The earthling kicked Jesse in response, the mud burning at first. But in kicking Jesse into the wall, it mashed the mud more onto the wound, and it was actually soothing. It dragged its foot on the ground to smooth it out and extended it up, still laying down, to look at it. It was healed! The earthling rose up and let the water rush past him and washing into Jesse who did his best to resist the waves. The earthling picked Jesse up and held him to his face. Jesse whoa'd while trying to steady himself "He..hey buddy... sorry bout stabbing you... you tried to step on me" The earthling looked down, ashamed. "Hey hey it's okay now, right? And you uh you saved me from the water! We're square now." 


The earthling placed Jesse on his shoulder and clapped happily. "That's the spirit! Hey bud... your community is worried sick about ya. You gotta go back home now." The earthling nodded vigorously and marched back up the stream.


Every so often, Jesse looked back to where they had come... where did that green thing go?

"Decimus Look!" 


Jade and Decimus walked to the top of the steps coming to a hill pasture. A few birds flew overhead and out to the vast open. Decimus marveled at the structure within the trees. "We're almost there"

"Jaaaaasper... Hey Jaaaaaasper?" Lilly poked her head in the SE entrance. "In the living room!"


"Oh good."


"AHH!!" Jasper fell back on his butt "When the.. fuck did you get there?!"

"I've been here for like-" Eats a chip "A few hours. I was in the kitchen"


Jasper leaned in Alex's face while he sat on the couch "You were in my kitchen?"


"Jasper!" Lilly quickly closed the distance and jumped over the back of the couch, bouncing on the coushin and diving at Jasper


Jasper grabbed Lilly by the waist and spun her back around and into the seat causing her to giggle with glee and cheer to go again. "Ahhh give him a break. Did you think anything would change?" Alex looked at Lilly who seemed too excited about being thrown again then back to Jasper. "Uh huh..." Another chip. 


"Where's your suit?" 


"Upstairs. I left it in my room."

Sebastian closed the NE door behind himself and stepped out into the light. It was warming, inviting. He smiled up to it while he thought of how many times it had come and gone. Since the troops were noticed, since Hunter went to go investigate....

Jasper's head poked up. He growled and squinted at the door. "Wait a minute...."


By the base of the SE cabin was a nice little icy blue paper box sitting on top of a white paper box.  Sebastian chuckled and picked up the smaller box. It had a little hand written name hanging on the tag: Snow. Sebastian handed the box over to Snow carefully. It had a few pounds to it, but nothing really strainuous. The other name tag was hidden under Snows gift. Sebastian. "Well isn't that sweet" 


Jasper bumped Alex. "Alex... you thinking what I'm thinking.."


Sebastian bumped his box into Snows. It was might lighter than hers and something shook around inside "Someone left us something." Sebastian carefully dragged his finger under the tapped fold and unbinded the paper from itself. He unwrapped the box and placed it down popping open the folds closing it. Inside was crumpled and furrled blank sheets of paper, a card folded rested on top. Sebastian opened the card and read its contents aloud;


"Merry Christmas Sebastian.


Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I hope your winter season is filled with joy and much Snow. Get it? 


Hehe. Funny


Youre probably cracking up right now. I know, Hilarious right? Where do I come up with these? 


I didn't know what you'd like most, but you look like a spiritual, or at least curious, type of person so got you a book whose words, I hope, will bring you strength, security, comfort, and more.

Sebastian folded the card and put it in his pocket, bending back down and moving the papers to see a bulging out leather bound tomb hooked shut. It had a little faded and foggy mirror on the front. Sebstian wiped it with his sleeve to minor avail. He turned the book around in his hands and smiled. That was kind of Alex


"What did Alex get for you?"





Inside of Snows box hidden very poorly under a card was a pair of blue leather, fur lined boots, a clever heel attachment. And on top, gloves. The fingers appeared... attached to the main base gloves 


the card read;


"Merry Christmas, Snow!


Snow I'll cut right to the chase, see? You're the reason I ran and got presents, don't tell the others. :-x 


We have a few... trinkets back in my lab. This set is redesigned for you. The gloves were intended to do devastating icy attacks to foes, maybe you can reactivate the function, I don't know, but now, at least the idea is, when your power overreacts the gloves should sort of revert the icy goodness into you and sort of stun them. I wasn't sure what exactly contact of your skin causes us to go wild- the oils, sweat, maybe your natural gases, hell I didn't know if your electron structure was constantly in an excited state... I guessed all of the above some hopefully your body will do something or another to trigger them, and maybe you'll finally be able to touch Sebastian, at least with your hands and forearms.


Let me know if they work, I'll run more tests

Sebastian waited for Snow to put on her gifts admiring their compli- he looked away then back to Snow after her clothes changed. A sense of.. privacy. He pushed the book safely in the tuck of his shirt. Well the blue sleeves were gone, but their replacement was a bit more... tasteful. "I've got to admit.. its a very handy effect. Alex got you gloves and boots..." His mind teased the idea of them holding hands, and how the thought of something so... minuscule brought him joy. He eyed the little clips on her heels. He thought of the possibilities


"There they are... on the porch! Out in the open..... muhahaha" 


"Yo! Sebastian! Snow!" Alex called down to the duo. He waved to them to get their attention. It was nice walking without his suit for a moment, and knowing it was safe as well. His hairs ends bounced as he walked on the balls of his feet constantly. Once he got their attention he used his waving hand to run through his hair 


"God fuckin.. fun's over"


"Aww don't worry J you can play with me"


Jasper looked Lilly down and back up then slowly turned his head to Sebastian and Snow, and now Alex, at the base of the SE, rubbing his hands together. "Yessss.... I can...... Quickly!" Finger in the air he ran from the N to S cabins to join the others, Lilly giggling right along 


"Oh it's... Alex.. huh..almost forgot what he looked like


Hey Alex! Thank you for the gifts. What's going on?"


"Nothing much, we got a bit bored. I see you're enjoying them, I'm happy to see it."


Alex leaned closer to Snows ear to whisper, "Do they work? Did you go skipping?"

Tromp-tromp-tromp-tromp 


"We maaaade it!" 


Treelings rush out of their homes to the familiar stomps. Seeing their brother safe they jumped with shrieks of joy! They rushed around and onto the bridge, piling onto the earthling. Jesse hopped down from his shoulder and let the creatures fall down on the bridge. Cute, why die? He walked the rest of the way back inside of the Heishaw Palace. The Heishaw walks down him his tiny thrones steps with his coiled honey coated staff in one hand, and a rod with the head of a King Cobra 





He was handing the rod to Jesse, but the palace shook and the little Heishaw treeling fell, tumbling into his treelings and them all trickling like dominos. The earthling was roaring outside 


Jesse ran back outside YOU IDIOT THE STAFF WE CAME FOR THE STAFF! and looked around 








Hopping on the houses, and the bridge, and in the stream, and swarming the treelings making them run around, and a gang closing around the earthling, threatingly pushing him over the edge of the bridge, and worse yet: a group hopping towards him 


The closer they got he saw they were some kind of white fuzzy gremlins with very very sharp claws, but they only came up to about his knees, the treelings chests, though.. those hops and claws and definitely made up for it 


Jesse swatted the first one with the back of his spear before realizing, what the hell?, and just running the next one through the chest with the spear tip. This caused them all to stop their movements. They all sniffed he air blindly, then growling as their scent locked on their own blood, towards Jesse 


The next jumped at Jesse, but he just repeated the process and jammed his spear into its chest, ripping it out and cutting out of its side, flinging its halfs and internal organs to the side so he could turn the spear and stab the next one in the head causing its skull to shatter the mount of brain and teeth. 


Blood sprayed back on incoming swarms of the little monsters.


Jesse continued his defense, sure to aim for only their vital and vulnerable locations but their numbers were coming too quickly. For every one he managed to kill another managed to slash at him. The ones he managed to dodge and catch only served to lure him to the path of another more damaging slash. Their claws clashed against Leviathans scales on his armor, but ripped and cut the fabrics closer to his skin and cutting him. His blood was pooling on the cuts and in some areas were being slashed open.


He quickly made a choice realizing the creatures no longer cared for the civilization. He jumped off the edge of the bridge and dove back into the water, the creatures following 


His cuts stung and the minor cuts stopped bleeding but suddenly the sensation passed and his more serious wounds kept bleeding, moreso he noticed. The blood of the fallen creatures on the attacking creatures didn't wash from their fur 


Jesse rushed out of the water and back on to the ground, pushing his hair back. He gripped his spear and prepared for the next onslaught 


The creatures leeped at him and he quickly stabbed and swatted at as many as he could. There were about 20? 30? There were too many for him to take on standing. It was a numbers game. He didn't focus on trying to dodge anymore, he let the change of opponent guide that. He stabbed at as many as he could in one spot, turning left and right to attack whichever was closest. After 8 he ran back up the path and jumped onto the overgrown edges and climbed the vines. The creatures were startled on his transition but hopped at the the mesh too. Their claws worked against them and ripped into the land and snapping and pulling the vines they grabbed down. Jesse got to stable ground and waited until they managed to make their way up inevitably. As they climbed he stabbed into the closests face. Blood was collecting darkly on the ones behind. Only patches of white. Fifteen.. sixteen... seventeen, good enough.


Jesse ran back from the ledge closer to the beasts then running the other way and jumping to the other rocky platform behind his. Let them climb that one and hop to him he figured. He could use their advantage to his. They'll be stuck in the air mid lunge. He could get 3, 4 more before they would swarm the platform, just enough. And they'll be spread out causing less blood collecting. They were getting more and more bloody, and water didn't seem to phase that. 


The beasts jumped to Jesse, just like he wanted. They were farther between than he expected, giving him a chance to take care of 5, but he idiotically slapped one down and into the water below. 


He looked around in a panic now, he didn't plan this far there were only a handful more but here he'd surely die. He ran inside of the nearest home. He didn't know how the hell the treelings did it but he needed to figure it out now. The beasts were collecting and hopping behind him and chasing him into the home. He ran through the tiny furnishings and up a staircase that led to their back balcony connection to the land. He dove out the door and slammed it behind himself. He faced the door and the first three that jumped out faced a spear. He spun on his heel and bolted up the hills and back to the bridge. He waited there as they hopped and turned the corner, two more down. He ran back down the bridge way at full speed. Back to square one with 5 on his heels.


The one fallen off the edge cracked its teeth on the rocks below. In pain it hopped back away from the village 


Jesse turned his back to the Heishaw Palace. He was starting to feel wooziness. The adrenaline was wearing off. Leviathan had opened his wounds more and let too much blood flow out of Jesse. Jesse fell to his knee and the earthling charged past Jesse. He kicked one of the creatures off the bridge and grabbed another slamming him back down on the bridge and throwing him off. The remaining three jumped on the earthling and bit into him. He roared and slammed down on his back, falling off of the bridge


Jesse tried to get up and help the earthling, but the Heishaw put his hand on Jesse's shoulder. His people were climbing on Jesse and pushing him back and the Heishaw walked around using his staff as a walking stick. He looked at Jesse's cuts closely and blinked surely. Then he stuck the staff into Jesse's cut and swirled it around. He pulled it out and did the same to the other slashes. Each one he came out of, the honey dripped off and coated over the cut, soaking in and making a closed cover, pulling the skin together shut. 


Jesse winced in pain at their remedy but quickly felt better after each one. When the Heishaw finished Jesse stood up and rushed to the edge of the bridge. He looked over and the earthling was laying on his back in the stream. The other two creatures laid crushed by their chests on his sides. He waved up to Jesse


A breath of relief escaped Jesse's lungs and when he turned around the Heishaw held the Kobra in his face. Jesse flinched back a moment but realized soon what it was. He took the staff from the Heishaws hand and the little treeling puffed up his chest proudly. The other little treelings were cheering and bouncing around two and two. A few in the back were pushing the corpses of their attackers into the water. Smaller treelings came out of the homes and jumped on the corpses around their homes angrily.


Jesse felt a deep humm in his chest when the staff touched his hands and it's eyes flashed a bright yellow-green for a half second. He could sense the demon inside of him was settling more peacefully now that he had gotten the staff, but Jesse didn't care much for his unrest. He had done a good thing saving these little guys. They had protected his staff all these years after all. Think of how many times those things probably had attacked here, how many generations lost, and the treelings still stayed Jesse urged in his mind. Leviathans humm faded more, and Jesse knew he was forcing the moral burden on his mind.


"I'm happy I could help guys. And you, thank you for keeping my staff safe all of these years. I won't forget this. I've got to get going, thank you again!" 


Jesse picked up his spear in his other hand and ran back off the bridge, but the Heishaw was running after to him flailing and blairing. When he got Jesse's attention he urged him back inside of the Palace. Now that he had the staff they needed his assistance with something

Sebastian waited for Snow to put on her gifts admiring their compli- he looked away then back to Snow after her clothes changed. A sense of.. privacy. He pushed the book safely in the tuck of his shirt. Well the blue sleeves were gone, but their replacement was a bit more... tasteful. "I've got to admit.. its a very handy effect. Alex got you gloves and boots..." His mind teased the idea of them holding hands, and how the thought of something so... minuscule brought him joy. He eyed the little clips on her heels. He thought of the possibilities


"There they are... on the porch! Out in the open..... muhahaha" 


"Yo! Sebastian! Snow!" Alex called down to the duo. He waved to them to get their attention. It was nice walking without his suit for a moment, and knowing it was safe as well. His hairs ends bounced as he walked on the balls of his feet constantly. Once he got their attention he used his waving hand to run through his hair 


"God fuckin.. fun's over"


"Aww don't worry J you can play with me"


Jasper looked Lilly down and back up then slowly turned his head to Sebastian and Snow, and now Alex, at the base of the SE, rubbing his hands together. "Yessss.... I can...... Quickly!" Finger in the air he ran from the N to S cabins to join the others, Lilly giggling right along 


"Oh it's... Alex.. huh..almost forgot what he looked like


Hey Alex! Thank you for the gifts. What's going on?"


"Nothing much, we got a bit bored. I see you're enjoying them, I'm happy to see it."


Alex leaned closer to Snows ear to whisper, "Do they work? Did you go skipping?"

Snow: She frowned tilting her head as she looked at Alex. A small smile spread on her lips and she grinned happily. "Oh it's you Alex." She looked at Sebastian and bit her lip a little before turning around, looking all around. The hairs on her neck were tingling at the thought of someone looking at her...huh? That was weird. She turned back to Alex and James and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "Thank you so much Alex. I... I've never gotten something to nice before." She blushed looking down at her boots, clicking the heels together and yelping when they change into ice skates. She giggled and looked at Sebastian and Alex excitedly. When Alex leaned over and whispered into her ear and looked at him confused. "Skipping?"

The larger mech trounced off, leaving his heavy impression in the earth 

"Infirmary ay?  Hopefully he is smart and gets out of here when he's better"

"No your task is simple. Join the camp and observe. I'll expect reports of the inhabitants, their weaknesses, and structural flaws. We will crush the Horsemen first!" The troopers in the area cheering and pumping their swords. "Go now. I'll send word to the other Generals to hold back their onslaught. Make haste. We will take care of your.... companion." Electricity crackled audible from an all white tent


Jasper was hiding in the bushes with Lilly conspiring on how they would pounce Snow and Sebastian when Hunters flying blade came bolting over the wall and right to the bushes, revealing his hiding spot. "Hmmmmm? Espionage, ehhh? Hunter gets all the fun.. I knew I should have gone with him! Shh... maybe we're still hidden... Noblesse..... rejoin Hunter. Tell him, got it won't aim for your eyes." Getting on the inside... not a bad idea Hunter, not a bad idea at all. Jasper could use that to terrorize the adorable pairing. He rubbed his hands together again and chuckled viciously. Lilly peeked over Jasper's shoulder to see who he was talking to. Seeing no one else but the sword.... She knew he was a little off but man. His evil man impression made her laugh though, and it kind of made her wanna tag along

Decimus reached hands over head and slowly shifted his weight to his right foot his left leg moving and finding another higher sturdy branch. Decimus forced himself not to look down. The window panes were almost in reach. He just had to keep going. "Come on Decimus you're doing great!" Decimus took a deep breath and just focused on climbing. 


His fingers slapped on glass. "I've got it" "Break the glass! BREAK THE GLASS!!" Jade was shrieking. Decimus got a more steady balance in the trees high enough to get to his chest. He slammed a few jabs from his fist into the glass. After a few attempts it was evident that wasn't going to work. Jade climbed up next to him and held on to the branch. Decimus reached into his bag and pulled out the staff he found in Rose's armory. The end of it looked pretty dangerous. He broke the glass open and used the rod to clear the way. He slipped in and helped pull Jade in as well. From there, Jade quickly, but lowly and silently, waved Decimus to follow her, and running on her toes Jade would sneak them around the place. "What was that?" Calling yelled down the hall accompanied by off sync paces of multiple people running towards them.

I.. think they did." Her hand melted right in and she breathed out sharply at a weird pulling sensation as she pulled a dagger. She looked up at Sebastian and her eyes widened. "Oh...that's a cool trick." She reached in again and pulled nothing out. She frowned and reached up to her chest right below her neck. She slowly breathed out, scared she would mull out her heart... or something like that but she felt the hilt in her finger tips and pulled it out slowly. She dropped the two daggers on the ground and looked at Alex and Sebastian worriedly. Wow she really was a freak. That was so gross....
