Mac swiped the gun from his hand without delay, and slid it back into the holster on his back, before shaking his hand. "Leonard MacTavish. I go by Mac." He said with his regular gruff tone. "Me and Lyla are bounty hunters and mercenaries." He looked back at the other girl who had healed him, then back at Garren.

"You, uh.. you two a thing, or am I reading this wrong?"

"I know he looks 10 years old, but he's a 26 year old man. This is Tallah, Voice of Tree and Sky, a Guardian of Life. Doesn't like guns or the people who know how to use them. We have a thing, but it isn't that kind of thing." Garren actually blushed as he answered Mac's question.

Tallah eyed the broken door then Mac. Mac would feel the questioning lift of an eyebrow like a physical slap to the face. "I assume that you have some experience with repairing the homes of your saviors, that you've no doubt shown the same respect as my door." His tone implied that Mac should consent, even if he lied, if he wanted to keep his limbs in the right places, before elaborated on Garren's answer. "Garren and I are not romantically involved, though not for lack of my trying. He simply moves too much, and I must remain here."

Lyla lost interest quite quickly, "Man I can go for a... Food, I guess" She mumbled to herself, then looked back at the others. "Hey MacMac! Can we stop by a town later?" She asked, not waiting for a response before her attention focused on Garren. "Hey, like to move around? Then come with us! To the town anyway, I dont care what happens next" She said.

After Magnus was done with his meal, nothing was left of the human hunters. He started cleaning himself off, and after that he looked around. Hmm, where'd the Ice Female go? He was on alert now, maybe she was trying to sneak attack him. He growled, though didnt smell her scent that would be strong enough to imply she was near. He used his tracking skills, following the strongest smell. @Valefar

@SuperSpice hop in anytime, bud )  ( I didn't know how to reply, so I just went all ice-skating on ya' )

The scent extended to Niklaus's location merely a mile away, a frozen-over pond; it was obviously her doing, for the rest of the area was humid. That miniature variation of weather had somewhat of an effect already, thick fog developing in the area. Tapered blades were planted to her footwear, fitting into the slots of both soles, and with that equipment, she had began skating on the ice. To warm up, she glided across the ice, then transitioning into a Biellmann spin. It was a catch-foot position, her free leg being pulled from behind until the skate passed over the level of her head. After the movement ended, she drifted across the ice, picking up the momentum.

Talia Webber

Talia walked through the forest clad in a translucent silk dress, she liked to wander on her own through nature, away from the prying eyes that were constantly on her due to her beauty and natural powers. She watched as the squirrels ran through the trees above her and the birds chirped happily at her presence. She smirked to herself before she started to approach a clearing where she spotted two figures in the distance. She could not make out their features of whether they were male or female but she slowly approached, her silk dress swaying softly in the cold wind.

Magnus had followed the scent all the way to the pond, and he shivered at the cold. But he was large enough to not die like other reptiles in this weather, he just got cold. He crossed his arms, watching Niklaus skate across the pond. He must admit, she moved smoothly and without error. Not bad, considering smoothness like that was very good when hunting. He then picked up another smell, this one not icy at all but he smelled something sweet. His thick tail wove, curious now because he had never smelled something like that before. But that didnt mean he wasnt off guard, his head turning to where the scent was strongest. A person, doesnt smell human either. Another divine. His throat vibrated with a low growl.

The rumble brought the female's attention to the croco-gator she hadn't regarded before, causing her head to abruptly swerve towards the sound. Skidding to the edge of the pond, the edges of her skates took her near the creature, coming to a halt after she'd reached the destination. "Took you long enough," she mumbled, crossing her arms across her chest. Her head tilted in interest, however, for she was unaware of the purpose to his growling. As soon as her eyes scanned through the fog, she caught a figure in the distance. "Haaah? What's the big-" Her words were quickly caught in her throat as she got a better look at the approaching being. Clear silk? Whoever it was, she was captivated.

Talia Webber

Talia looked from the strange crocodile beast to the white haired woman, who had hair much like her own. These were not ordinary human beings (and crocodile) but divine, much life herself. She walked up to the pair, not speaking but giving them a wave of her hand, her expression neutral as she looked at the strange pair. Talia looked from the pair to the icy river, the  weather was cold but Talia could not feel a thing.

Magnus thrashed his tail, his growl growing deeper. "You must be out of your mind" He snarled. "Get back to a town, you wont fair well out here. Your too exposed and small" While he sounded rather angry, as he always does, he was rather good at keeping anything he might think in the back of his mind.

Niklaus glanced between the two, although finding herself trying to take in the beauty of the newcomer. With all of the thoughts pouring into her head, her eyebrows furrowed. The croco-gator sounded protective in a way, kind of like a father or an elder brother. An ungloved hand flew to her mouth to hold back the laughter she was about to let out, and upon contact, a certain detail came to her realization. Interrogating the girl without hesitant, she questioned, "How are you not shivering?"

Talia looked for to Crocodile to the white haired woman, her face still not showing any particular emotion at the Crocodile's harsh words. "I cannot feel the cold" Talia replied to the woman. It was true, Talia was dressed rather scantily in a silk dress that just revealed the outline of her sleek body.

"Ehh? Aren't you worried about hypothermia, especially in.. er, those clothes?" The giantess questioned, peeping at the newcomer for a brief second before her eyes darted towards the floor. A pink color rose to her cheeks for the second time that day, mainly because she wasn't used to these happenings in her home-village, and she utterly despised the heat radiating from her body. She tried to shake the feeling off- which led her to realizing that the less she looked the girl, the more her interest decreased. On a more important note, this was the first time Niklaus had ever seen someone not give even the slightest reaction from her chilling air; unlike she thought it would, it irritated her. In fact, the very fact that the newcomer didn't appear intimidated made her want to punch something. Her own anger-reliever, however, was an activity she could be doing at that moment: skating. "Tch, whatever. You deal with her, Croc," she grumbled, turning on the blades and accelerating to the other side of the pond.

(I like Tallah. I want Mac to be his buddy :).)

"If you're asking me to fix your door, I'd be happy to." Mac said with a smile, sticking out his hand towards the man, hoping that the person who had healed him would shake it. "I might not be able to completely fix your door, but I can see if I can get you a new one. Is that okay?"

"I have a name" Magnus growled, looking away from Talia for a minute to look at Niklaus, too bad she was already back at the pond. He growled in irritation at being told what to do, but the sweet scent of the other female was even more bothering than the ice scent. He flicked his tail, turning his attention back to said female. He wasnt sure about what he thought about her, but there was something that had his attention more than any charm anyone could have. And that was his hunger. His brain kept bouncing from one curiosity to another, did her bones break as easy as he thought? Would she finally show fear once his teeth were at her throat? "I wonder, does your blood taste as sweet as you smell?" He snarled his question. @SuperSpice

((Somehoelw I figured you would. He never leaves his forest or I would've made a CS for him, and yes, I did have him planned out before Garren even  showed up in the mantis aftermath.))

Tallah gave Mac an apraising look before accepting his hand and shaking it once before withdrawing his hand. "As long as I have a functional door before the end of the moon's cycle, I do not care if it is repaired or replaced. Now, while I do not doubt you ability to ignore pain, I would prefer for you to lay back down before pain relieving tea wears off." Tallah didn't so much smile as simply frown less.

"Uh, Mac you should listen to Tallah. He's the best healer on this side of the world, and he doesn't like difficult patients." Garren smiled as the awkard moments faded into the past. He jerked his head back the way Mac had came as a signal.

(Dude, he's adorable.)

"Ah.. hey, uh, is there any way that I could have a cup of tea? I mean, if it's okay with you, of course." Mac said. He may be a brute, but Mac knew his manners. That's what happens when you grow up in a Irish household.

"I feel that if I am going to be staying here, it might be appropriate."

Tallah motioned for Mac to head in the same direction that Garren did, with his hand, even though he hadn't seen the god do so before. "Lay down, and we'll see what we can do about that tea." He turned away from Mac and headed towards the hearth, which blazed a bit higher at his approach. Picking up a pot full of water, he hung it above the fire. Turning to his herb wall, Tallah began composing a tea with a practiced air. "What's your favorite color, Mac? Animal, song, season, and number, as well.

Mac grunted, and lied down on the couch, still being gentle due to his broken ribs. "Hmm.. My favorite color is probably red-ish orange. My favorite animal? Um... maybe beagles? I dunno. My favorite song is Cat and The Moon. My favorite season is autumn, and the number is 2."

"Mmm." Tallah nodded and changed the herbs he picked as Mac answer hjs questions. This tea was going to be tailor made to reduce pain and increase Mac's natural healing process. As soon as he completed the tea mix he wanted, Tallah doubled the dose. Almost as if waiting for him to finish his composition, the pot over the fire began to shreak happily. Tallah quickly prepared Mac a single cup and handed it to him. "Normally, it would take a bit longer, but a little magic here and there doesn't hurt." There was a wink implied in his flute like voice, even though his face didn't so much as twitch. "Oh, and it should taste very good to you. Not magic there, just skill." Again, the implied wink.

(I'm kinda starting to ship Tallah and Mac.)

(Also, is Tallah basically Sylvanus?)

"Could you put a bit of milk in the tea for me?" Mac asked with a kindly smile. He wanted to make a good impression on the tiny guardian of the forest. He sipped it gently, and coughed. "Ah, hot.." The bounty hunter said, pulling the cup away from his lips.

"Yeah, cold milk, if you will.."

((Mallah or Tallac? I wasnt gonna make him a god, just a powerful forest mage.))

Tallah came over, leaned down over Mac's shoulder, and blew a tiny flurry of snowflakes on top of Mac's tea. They floated around in the tea, cooling it just enough to be warming without scorching the throat. "Milk would ruin the tea. I promise that the flavor will be most satisfying. Try it now." He cast Mac a sidelong glance before heading back to brew up something for the rest of them. Lyla would not need any more pain relieving tea,  and he said as much as he steeped enough tea for 6 cups in a different pot.

Garren sat down on a tall stool and watched the enitre scene with his usual level of amusement, though there was a slight gleam in his eye.

Lyla was getting horribly bored, but she wasnt going to pester Mac because he was talking, and she was told not to interrupt him when he's in a conversation. But she could pester Garren, and so she did. She tugged on his sleeve to get his attention once more, "Hey! I'm bored! Let's go do stuff! You aint doing anything and you can make portals!" She said. "Please!!"

Garren's face lit up at Lyla idea. "Yeah l guess a quick hop to the next planet over won't hurt. You'll love seeing the Earth-rise. Come on!" Not waiting a single moment, he grabbed Lyla's hand and fell backwards into a reddish tinted portal with her in tow.

"Care to fall down the rabbit hole with me?"

"Earth-rise?" She asked, before she was pulled into the portal along with the god. She squeezed her eyes shut out of instinct. Another planet? But, holy crap another planet!
