"Make up?" He hissed, narrowing his eyes. "You almost killed my companion and blinded he in one eye!" He snapped, "All fixed by your pet healer" His tail tightened around Niklaus's leg to keep him anchored where he was.

"And you ripped off the leg and arm of my best friend!" Mac spat, the crocodile now achieving his goal to piss Mac off.

"And you ripped off the leg and arm of my best friend!" Mac spat, the crocodile now achieving his goal to piss Mac off.

"This is true. Why do you want to 'make up' again?" He growled. It made no sense to him, they were quite obviously enemies.

Garren noticed Szaktal's pacing, but paid it no mind; he was quickly becoming used to the way the creature observed thing he couldn't understand. Garren was enjoying himself immensely just being with Snow. He'd never really felt the need to be overprotective of anyone but Tallah before, and that point was moot, seeing how powerful the elf actually was. He was handing Snow a few orange slices when Niklaus aproached him asking for a favor. He looked up at the giantess with an easy grin on his face. "Hey Frosty. You need a ride somewhere?" He was used to getting portal requests; it came with the territory.

Meanwhile, Tallah looked at himself in the mirror for the umpteenth time. He nodded as he smoothed out the wrinkles in his new robe, which was red with blue and silver accents. The other robe was completely soaked through with blood. The robe he had on was much less sedate than its predecessor, with wide sleeves, a plunging V-neck feathered mantle that ended just below his navel, and right leg slit that reached midway up his thigh. "This more accurately captures who I truly am."

Tallah's bedroom door swung to reveal the elf with a serene expression and a slight smile for Mac. He reached up cupping Mac cheek briefly before kissing him. "I am fine, Mac. Besides, I have a patient to look after and guests to attend to." Tallah strode into the room heading for Snow and Garren when he spotted Magnus open the door and make his way into the room. The tapered tips of his ears twitched slightly. "I did not expect you to be back so soon, crocodile." There was no emotion behind the words as he continued  making his way over to Snow, the air around him glowing with prepared in depth diagnostic analysis spells ,which he cast on Snow as he helped himself to an apple slice.

Snow: Her fingers took the orange slices, nervous and tense when Szaktal began getting closer to her. Her blood sung out in response to her nerves making it race. Of course, only those with intense magic power could hear it. Her eyes flickered to the giantess and Snow tilted her head. But oh how quickly her attention was diverted by the Crocodile entering again. The healer's lover approached the Croc and the two began to talk... Snow could hardly focus on Tallah as he made his way to her. She was concerned about the fight. If Magnus fought Mac with her so close... she might see him get hurt. And try as she might not to care for no one but herself... the crocodile did save her life. She stood up, her legs shaky as she took a single step between Mac and the Crocodile. She looked at them, fear in her scent and eyes. "I um... Don't fight again like you did. I would be sad if the one who saved me was hurt. I know I have no right to ask for anything... seeing as how I don't really know anyone. But fighting I think... at least in this situation... fighting will not get you your intended wishes." Her knees wobbled and she looked at the Crocodile, putting herself more in the middle, her form shaky. A breath away from being blown over.

Magnus looked down at the still very weak Snow. He narrowed his eyes as she pleaded with both of them to not fight. He wasnt planning on it, but it seemed that she thought so. He noticed the fear scent and her apparent weakness, she could hardly even stand. He looked at Mac again and he let out a small growl but he didnt say anything. That growl could mean anything, but it sure didnt mean hostility.

Before the giantess could talk, she was interrupted, open-mouthed and closed-minded when the door opened. Her eyes drifted between the crocodile, watching him with uneasy eyes. Due to the hostility of her village, she had planned to travel without anyone, but since he was here, she wondered how her partner would react to her wanting to leave. His arrival had triggered several events, however, and it was hard to fit in a request. She glanced at the elven mage, impressed by his wardrobe. The robe had captured her attention for a brief moment, which was redirected towards Mac when he began speaking. As Magnus's tail wrapped around her ankle, her eyes softened and body relaxed. With him around, she no longer had to be on constant alert, but she knew that the others wouldn't have done anything anyway. It was instinct, however. As the grip of the tail grew tighter, she grew concerned, feeling the blood flow to her foot being cut off. She was glad for the blonde's intervention, for she wasn't sure how to word it herself. "Magnus, I appreciate your intent to save our honor, but Snow is right. Stop this, both of you."

With the two out of the way, her thoughts were thrown back at the portal-user, hoping for her partner to not question whatever it was she was asking. "Have you ever been near Jotunheim, even if you've been at the borders or in a surrounding territory?" She inquired, remembering the Country of Jotunheim without any fondness. Frankly, she wasn't aware what limits there were to his abilities, but she assumed that he had to have been in that area before being able to transport himself to it. It was simple logic, she thought. If he could transport wherever at any moment in time, it would've been dangerous, due to the terrain and the people inhabiting it -- an example could be her home-country. The common man was shunned, and in towns further in the region, they were burned alive or hung. Perhaps if Tallah was by his side during his visit, he would've come out with a scratch but only because he could exhibit his power; even then, they wouldn't be able to sleep without having to worry about a possible attack or kidnapping. For smooth transportation, she could've originally asked if he had been in her village, but if that was the case, she would've seen him before. That, and he may not have made it out alive.

Maintaining his spells on Snow, Tallah stood calmly beside the hearth and delicately bit into his apple slice. Everyone's carrying on seemed melodramatic to him now that he had had time to pull himself together. Though he was sure that Magnus and Mac were smart enough to not do battle in his presence, Tallah was fully prepared to send both of them flying out the cottage door within a half second of a thought. Fighting incited a dangerous type of passion in Tallah that he forgot he needed to avoid.

Meanwhile, Garren was pouting as Snow managed to get away from him. Glared back and forth between Mac and Magnus for ruining his happy moment. Party poopers. He whined mentally before Niklaus drew his attention once again. "I've been to Jotunheim. Didn't stay long though; hostile environment, hostile people, case of mistaken identity." He gulp down a mouthful of tea as small trails of portal energy leaked from the corners of his mouth. "Didn't want to pour a cup." He explained.

"Yeah I went there a few years back because I wanted to be somewhere I'd never been before. I usually have to take the long way 'round to reach new places but I found this little hammer necklace with a really strong spatial resonance and was able to Open the Way, quite easily I might add. I remember the cold, and the constant cries of "the Trickster!" every time I made so much as a foot-long step through the Way. Luckily, I'm really good with snap-casting portals or I woulda been filled with arrows, axes, and the occasional shoe." Garren chuckled slightly at that last one. "Anyway, I have about seven distinct locations in Jotunheim that I can get to quickly. Got a particular place in mind? We'll see how close I can get you."

Magnus brought his attention to the conversation Niklaus and Garren were having. He honestly didnt like what he heard, was she going to leave? Was she mad at him for fighting or was this something more personal she needed to deal with? He loosened his tail from around her leg, turning his large scaly head toward her. "Your leaving?" He asked, ignoring Mac now. @Valefar

Niklaus's eyes lit up after hearing the first sentence from the portal-user, also widening as he used his ability for tea. It was an unusual usage, at least to her, but she found it impressive nonetheless. However, she did cringe about the part involving hammers. The villages in Jotunheim were strict on religion and fables, so anything involving hammers or The Trickster ( who Niklaus personally despises) were denounced years ago; the fact that places like Hanover Wake accepted the monstrosities made the female quite uneasy. "I'm trying to get to Åkrehavn," she replied, a thick accent appearing as she spoke the village's name. Her hometown was relatively small, populated by less than three hundred people, but the territory managed to include a large amount of the sea. For recreation purposes and fishermen, it was heaven. "It's northwest of Oslo, if you've been there." The capital of Jotunheim was Oslo, and despite being apart of a hostile environment, it held a reputation for being more inclusive of the world population. When Magnus directed his attention towards her, the giantess could feel a cold sweat coming on. She didn't bother glancing back at him, not wanting to see his reaction, and replied with a curt, "Yes."

Snow: She sighed, relieved they were not fighting. Her body felt stronger due to Tallah's healing spells but her head was dizzy. She was away from Garren though so that must have said something for her strength. She turned, looking at Tallah and bowed her head to him. "I... I just want to say thank you. For healing me. As you can see, I am fine now. I should be on my way before I become of more trouble." This was perfect. Garren was distracted. The crocodile wasn't going to be harmed. Everything keeping her here was not an issue... but secretly she dreaded being alone again. But Snow was an expert at burying her feelings. She took a step to the door, her heart racing to leave and blood singing to stay.

Her body slowly twisted, allowing her to glance at the crocodile. She hesitated to respond, for her reason for leaving her village (self-exile) would be better left classified. One of her brothers had risen to the position of village chief months ago, and frankly, she was terrified of what he could do with that authority, even if it was just control over a small group of people. Niklaus left other relatives behind, however -- which had led to her worrying about their safety. As well, she wanted to sleep without having to worry about destroying her body. "My brother believes his taste in fashion is too modern to influence our village, and so, he wanted me to retrieve articles of clothing and information on the current rages for his projects," she replied, although it wasn't entirely a lie. The giantess was supposed to send her findings in a letter anyways, but it was the first excuse that had popped into her mind. "I believe I have enough of both to go back."

Tallah nodded at Snow as he concluded his diagnosis. Though malnourished, dehydrated, and exhausted, Snow was in surprisingly good shape. He laso ended his healing spells. As powerful as he was, Tallh knew that there were no spells to make up for food and rest. Supplement food and rest? Yes. Replace them completely for someone as deficient at Snow? Not without endangering her life, which he had no reason to do with Garren hanging around. Ignoring Niklaus and Magnus, he kept an eye on Snow and smirked as she tried to make a stealthy escape. My dear girl, you have no hope of escaping. Just as the thought crossed his mind, a portal swallowed Snow from below and deposited her back in Garren's lap. Tallah held back a chuckle.

Garren said nothing as Snow plopped back into his lap, and handed her a cup of water offhandedly as he replied to Niklaus. "I have two locations close to that. One is nearly any part of Oslo, and the other is the major crossroads to the north of Oslo. That second option may take you a bit more north than you'd like though." Garren, once again, wrapped his arm around Snows waist and snuggled into her hair; he was happy once more.

((laughter is going through my house now while everyone is trying to sleep))

Snow: She yelped, falling through the floor and into Garren's lap. A frown settled on her face as she looked him incredulously. "Tallah nodded. A nod is a confirmation, yes? As in I'm fine Garren." She said, rolling her eyes as he snuggled into her. Her rose eyes flashed red and her blonde hair flashed white before settling into her normal coloring. Her blood hummed happily to Garren but her posture remained stiff... until the water was handed to her of course. Her throat screamed for hydration and her lips were cracked in a few places. She took it, closing her eyes as she tipped it back, drinking greedily, relaxing a bit. After finishing she looked at Tallah for help, acting as if she had not just completely been distracted from her outrage by the water Garren gave her. "Can't you tell him I do not need to be on his lap to heal?" She looked at Niklaus and tried to plead her case to the giantess, "I mean he can't take me with him if he takes you home right?" She paused, looking up at Garren with concern in her eyes. "Right...?"

((Yeah im having that issue right now))

"The nod was because I have done everything magical and medical that I can do for you. It did not mean that you do not need to be taken care of. You can barely stand under your own power, Snow. I cannot, and will not, knowingly let you back out into the world in such sub par condition." Besides, he found the girl, and the strange singing that emanated from her, simply fascinating. There was no harm in continuing to aid her while also divulging all her secrets.  Tallah gave Snow a kind grin, though his eyes spoke different words.

"Plus, I don't need to chauffeur passengers through portals. It's literally stepping through a doorway, unless you have mastered portal travel, which no one but me has. I can snap my finger and open a portal for Niklaus to go through easily, and I wouldn't have to go anywhere." That last statement was accompanied by another snuggles. "You're so cute when you get mad. Your hair gets all bright and I could see you eyes int he reflection of the plate." Garren refilled her water and handed it back to her. "Also, my lap is the safest place for you to be. I can go anywhere I want, and take you with me; we're virtually untouchable."

Snow: Glancing at Tallah, chills ran through her spine at his gaze. The smile did not reach his eyes. Ever so slightly she retreated into Garren's embrace just for a sense of safety. Sighing, she resigned herself to his snuggling. "I feel as if you are holding on so intensely because I am pulling away. Fine. I will stay here until you, Tallah, say I can go back into the world... but I refuse to sit in Garren's lap for eternity. I will need to stand and walk eventually when I regain strength in my limbs."  She huffed out, crossing her arms in a defiant pose. Her eyes met his swirling ones, trying to keep her face still in its current emotion and not show that she was fascinated by his changing colors. "Do you even live here with this healer Garren?" She said, trying to be a smart-alec.

Tallah nodded at Snow with satisfaction. This time, the smile reached every part of his face before he resumed eating the apple slice, and proceeded to help himself to an orange.

"Of course I live here; this is my home. Though, that is a bit relative when you're a traveler like me." His eyes shifted to turquoise. "I'm holding on to you so tightly, because I want to, and I'm terrible at telling myself no. Your struggling only plays a small part in that." It was not entirely true. He could basically sense that Snow needed more than just medical care; she needed TLC, and Garren was perfectly happy to provide, after Tallah's recent slip up. He gave her a closed eyed grin, though color leaked through his lids slightly.

Snow: She lost her frown as his eyes shifted and she laughed just slightly. "I can see you are terrible at self-restraint and I just met you." She couldn't help but give up a small smile at his grin but she shook it away as quickly as it happened and looked back down at her hands. "You're a traveler... I like traveling. Don't get to see much though when you're hiding." She laughed, trying to make a joke, her nerves still on edge. She wasn't used to people. Hadn't been in a very long time.

"Then I'll take you with me when I leave." Garren's eyes shifted mint green as he popped another grape into his mouth and handed Snow a small dish of pineapple rings. He didn't care why she was hiding or from who. He really had no right to judge even if he did care, considering how many people chased after his all the time anyway.

Snow: "Last time I traveled with someone it didn't end well for him. Or me." She whispered and pushed the pineapple away, pulling to get out of Garren's arms. "Can I just lay down somewhere? I'll leave you all to do whatever it was you gathered to do before I showed up." She let her frown slide in over her features like a mask. She hid well behind it.

"Well, if you let every little bump in the road stop you, you'd never make past your front door." Garren picked Snow up and carried her to the room holding Layla. "You can stay in my room. You'll have to share it with Layla, but she's quiet and doesn't even need to use the bed." The inside of the small room was very open, with only a bed against the far wall, a nightstand, and a wardrobe. There was a single round window on the wall above the bed. Floating serenely in the far corner was Layla's now vertical form. The stasis field, wrapped skintight around her, thrummed softly. Garren carried Snow to the bed, three back the covers and laid her down. His eyes shifted to lavender. "Get as much rest as you need; it's safe here." He pulled the covers up and tucked her in before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

Magnus blinked. He didnt know what to say or do really. His tail withdrew fully from her leg and he growled in his throat. He wanted to go with her, or find some way she could stay here, but he kept his jaws closed. Taking him anywhere is a dangerous idea, knowing how prone to anger he is, so there shouldnt be any way she would allow him near any of her family members. His slitted pupils seemed to go paper thin, then thickened as he focused again. "Then I have no more business here" He growled lowly. He turned and walked for the door, his heavy tail dragging along the ground as he left and shut the door behind him. He snarled at himself as he made his way to his own river, one far from here.

As thoughts soared through her head, the female was reluctant to act. She tried to think of a way to bargain with the crocodile, either with her returning in a day's time or with her taking him with her. The latter could easily result in his death, and the first option meant having to escape her brother's wrath a second time. Yet, Magnus's reaction gave her the chance to handle a new emotion, which made her lose all rationality. Her heart felt as if it was being ripped from her body as he marched off, and she didn't want him to go any further. His growl had stunned her, making her flinch. "I'll be back," she said to no one in particular, exiting the door after her partner. "Magnus!" She called out, running to catch up with him, "Magnus, wait!"

He did as she asked, or told, and stayed where he was. And when he did move, it was in her direction. He really didnt want her to go anywhere believe it or not, the killer croc has grown to the ice female.

A smile stretched across the giantess's face as the reptile turned towards her, almost as if saying he didn't want to leave either. She slowed down as she got closer to his figure, and her forehead promptly rested on his shoulder. By the pants, she could tell she was growing weaker, especially in this constant heat. "Thank you.. for waiting," she puffed out when she could, taking a moment to catch what little breath she had. After relaxing for a few solid minutes, her head lolled back onto her own joint, and her eyes locked onto her partner's. "Come meet my family," Niklaus abruptly insisted. She cringed at the words that came out of her mouth, and she did her best to fix the situation, "I mean, only if you want to..
