Tallah nodded at Snow with satisfaction. This time, the smile reached every part of his face before he resumed eating the apple slice, and proceeded to help himself to an orange.

"Of course I live here; this is my home. Though, that is a bit relative when you're a traveler like me." His eyes shifted to turquoise. "I'm holding on to you so tightly, because I want to, and I'm terrible at telling myself no. Your struggling only plays a small part in that." It was not entirely true. He could basically sense that Snow needed more than just medical care; she needed TLC, and Garren was perfectly happy to provide, after Tallah's recent slip up. He gave her a closed eyed grin, though color leaked through his lids slightly.

@Jennete

Mac came up from behind the elf, and gently laid his hands on Tallah's waist. "How're ya doin', babe?" He asked softly, before kissing him on the temple. "I haven't really seen you in anything other than a robe, you know that?" He chuckled, "I'm starting to wonder if you even own a singe pair of pants or a shirt."

A smile stretched across the giantess's face as the reptile turned towards her, almost as if saying he didn't want to leave either. She slowed down as she got closer to his figure, and her forehead promptly rested on his shoulder. By the pants, she could tell she was growing weaker, especially in this constant heat. "Thank you.. for waiting," she puffed out when she could, taking a moment to catch what little breath she had. After relaxing for a few solid minutes, her head lolled back onto her own joint, and her eyes locked onto her partner's. "Come meet my family," Niklaus abruptly insisted. She cringed at the words that came out of her mouth, and she did her best to fix the situation, "I mean, only if you want to.. A few of my brothers won't be as welcoming as the rest, but they're going to have to meet you sooner or later." That last sentence didn't help either, causing her face to burst into red. "N-Not because we're going to get mar-- I just want them to know you exist, okay?"

(So coot :3)

Magnus couldnt help his croc-y grin that appeared as she stumbled over her sentences. "I was hoping you'd allow me to tag along" He said, "I have grown much too attached to just walk away" He growled lowly, a happy little growl. He leaned his large scaly head down and nuzzled his snout against her neck. He was kind of amused at her words, how she kept trying to fix her sentences. And the word she had cut herself off on. He hadnt heard that word in years, he knew she probably didnt mean that she planned to do such a thing. Just how the sentence made itself.

"Was I not wearing shorts and a shirt when we "made up"? I was also wearing two belts, which we had several interesting uses for, if I remember correctly." Tallah replied wryly as he leaned back into Mac's arms. "I am a mage, and a healer. I have no need  for anything other than robes, truthfully. Any protection that a particular article of clothing could provide I could replicate easily."

Garren walked out of his room, and closed the door behind him. He walked over to Mac and Tallah with a strange look on his face. "Hey Lah, I'm gonna go out for  bit. If Snow needs me or Niklaus comes back for a portal, just call me. I just need a moment to clear my head; feels kinda foggy, for no reason." His eyes shifted to stormy gray.

"Of course, Garren, but are you sure that you are alright?" Tallah asked him with open concern.

"Yeah I'm good. Be back whenever." Garren turned away on his heel as a stream of portal energy swept him away.

@Safety Hammer

Snow: She waited for the moment Garren left the room and sat up, looking around. Her head swam from the sudden movement, pain shooting through her body. But she couldn't let this opportunity past. She stared at the girl... Layla he had said. Why was she floating? Snow slowly got out of bed and placed her small feet on the floor, standing as she made her way over... She looked all around the girl before coming back tot he conclusion of magic. Would this happen to her if she stayed for too long? Maybe these people were awful... just as she had feared them to be. Snow backed up, her nerves crying out and her blood singing it's haunting melody loudly. She softly, with no noise, fell to the floor, her eyes glued to the girl.

Snow needed out. She needed away. How foolish of her to think Garren had been charming and so innocently goofy... how idiotic of her to trust her health to an elf whose smile seemed warm. She heard Garren outside of the door say he was leaving. To call him if she or the giantess needed anything. He was gone. He wouldn't know where she was until she was out of there. Tallah couldn't possibly care. The crocodile and the frost giantess were blushing and being romantic outside. She couldn't really remember anyone else so no one should care at all where she went. She could leave... but a part of her wanted to stay. How long had it been since she had been forced to be taken care of? Not since... tears fell at the thought of him. Silence rang through the room. The thought of him had been pushed down by here for many moons.

She stared at Layla and whispered as if to the air itself, "I loved." A pause. The silence grew louder. "I know it may seem like... like I'm cold, ungrateful, incapable of love. But I loved. Once... I loved till it consumed my entire soul, heart, mind... in one breath. And then I killed him."

Layla didnt do anything, as she should have since, y'know, frozen and stuff. But hey, her spirit really wanted to break the mold. Once she heard Snow's voice, her fingers twitched in response, the movement cracking the stasis field around her hand. She clenched her hand into a fist, violently swinging her arm and breaking the field around her arm and shoulder. Alright, this was getting annoying! Her body moved all of a sudden, shattering the field and letting the human female fall to one knee. "Whoa, dizzy" She muttered, holding her head.

Snow: She screamed, scrambling backward on her hands and knees, bruising her delicate skin in the process. "What the hell?! You.. I thought you weren't supposed to move much!" Panic rang through her and her blood sung louder than it had before, calling for a protector though Snow was in no danger. Her blood just didn't know that. She wiped furiously at the tears staining her cheeks, breathing in to try and appear like she had just been crying her problems to this now not floating girl.

Layla jumped at the scream, looking up and reaching for her back. Her shotguns were missing, and soon she realized she wasnt fighting the croc anymore. She looked at the source of the scream, "Aye! AYE!" She yelled back, "Dont be screamin now, I just woke up" She said, standing up though she wobbled and had to lean against the wall. "Ever seen a person who just broke the hell outta... Whatever I was in"

Snow: "Um no, no I have not seen that. Hence why I was screaming. Who are you? What... what happened to you?" Snow asked, rubbing her bruised hands, looking at the girl who looked worse than her. Sure Snow's bones were sticking out and her hair was ratty and her clothes were dirty... but this girl looked like she had just grown back some muscle.

Layla looked Snow up and down and tilted her head. "I should be askin ya the same thing" She said. "I was fighting that croc, and shit happened" She shrugged, turning and looked in her pack. Apparently, it was still with her, and she didnt ask questions. "Meanwhile, you need some better clothes, girlie" She always carried extra clothes, never know what was going to happen.

Snow: She frowned, standing as she pulled at her white dress. "I don't want other clothes... this, this is all I have to remember him." She whispered and sighed, backing up from the girl. "It was a crocodile that saved me. Brought me here. He's outside you know?"

"Good, I can blow his brains out" She said nonchalantly as she pulled out some clothes. Wasnt too fancy, pants and one of the not-so-many shirts that didnt have a large V-neck. "An' what do ya mean by only thing? C'mon now, you have memory. Dont think I didnt hear ya before." She said, straightening the clothes. "Besides, keepin somethin like that dress, just holdin onto the day of tragedy, that is if I guessed correctly. Looks like a weddin dress, people just dont wear them casually. Just fer one day"

Snow: She sighed, a blush staining her pale skin. "I... it is. Fine, whatever." She grumbled and lifted it off of her, letting it fall the ground. She just had a slip underneath that was just as dirty. Walking to the clothes, she looked at her and shook her head. "You can't. I can't let you do that. And I don't think Tallah would either. Doesn't seem like the type to let violence happen if it isn't him causing it." She looked at the clothes and then her body, feeling self-conscious. She was almost skin and bones... her once petite soft figure now hard angles. "Will... would these even fit me?"

"Eh, I wont then" She wasnt really mad, she needed the sleep anyway. She almost couldnt believe how small Snow was, and how she was able to stay alive that malnourished. Poor thing. "They may be big on ya, but I gots belts too" She said. She carried a lot of things around with her at all times. "And afterward, I'll bring back some meat. Someone as small as you need it, worry bout the veggies an' fruits later. Protein and iron will help the most- WAIT! I have dried meat!" Perks to being frozen in time, everything with her was frozen too. She carried around some dry deer's meat for a snack, but obviously someone needed it more.

Snow: She smiled just slightly at the girl and felt her body un-tense. "So what's the clingiest smallest thing you have? I'll wear it." She looked at her and tilted her head. "Garren said I need to keep what I eat light. Since I haven't eaten in months. Dried meat? What's that?" Snow paused and rolled her eyes at herself. Was she really quoting rules Garren had left for her? She had wanted to run from here a few moments ago. Her cold shell slid back into place.

"Well eat what you can, save the rest fer later" She said simply, smiling back. "Dried meat is meat that has been drained of any juices and is, well, dry. Can keep for a long time" She said, pulling out said meats and the container they were in and set it on the ground. "And uh, smallest an' clingiest thing I got is not fer outside of bedroom use" She said with a chuckle, which was true. Sleeping or other activities. "Err, anyway, regular clothes I got will fit'cha." She said, brushing away the fact she just told a stranger about her skimpy 'clothes'. Oh well. "An' belts look cool too!"

Snow: She laughed, so surprised by this strange woman. "I meant in regular clothing, you harlot!" She said it kindly, taking the bite out of the word. "Fine. Dress me then. I do not desire to pick out my clothes... I fear I will choose wrong." She shrugged and grabbed some of the dry meat, sniffing it before placing it in her mouth. She moaned at the taste of meat and immediately started chewing, working her jaw to devour it before going for another. "This is good!" She looked at the stranger and titled her head. "I am Snow... what's your name?"

"Oh you have no idea, baby doll" She laughed with Snow about the harlot thing. "I'm Layla, nice t' meet'cha" She grinned. "Well, if ya want me t' dress ya than I can do that" She said, quickly digging through her pack. Ooh! She pulled out a long sleeved black and white shirt, (any pattern ya choose), and some black pants. "This'll look real cool!"

Snow: She took out the shirt and slide it on her body, the black and white top loose and flowy on her, hiding her boniness. The black ended short and continued on with white.The pants underneath form fitting to her legs, the black hiding the bones as it came up past her jutted out hips, vanishing underneath the flow of white border fabric. The pants had zippers at the knees. Her feet bare and dirty. Overall, though it hid her malnourishment.

Mac smiled, and quickly copped a feel on Tallah as Garren decided to leave. "You know, is there any way that you can find some other elf that wants the power of the voice? I'm excited to show you the world."

"No. Unfortunately, those from the Outer Isles have been deemed un worthy. You know, since we can't be civilized," Miley said with a shrug. "I'm guessing you have?"

"Nah. I've been meaning to." He scratched his head, and stretched a bit more. "Do you, uh, know somewhere to sit?"

"Nah. I've been meaning to." He scratched his head, and stretched a bit more. "Do you, uh, know somewhere to sit?"

Miley looked back at the house, and shrugged, "I feel like inside is a bit of a tense place to be at the moment. If you don't mind climbing a tree, the oak over there has some rely nice places to sit."

Mac smiled, and quickly copped a feel on Tallah as Garren decided to leave. "You know, is there any way that you can find some other elf that wants the power of the voice? I'm excited to show you the world."

"Actually, the problem with passing on the Voice is that it was meant to go to someone who does not want the power but can also withstand the strain of carrying it. Power is not without price, so the power to make spoken words Law takes quite the toll on the wielder. The vast majority of candidates, based solely on desired strength, are those who seek power and would use the Voice for personal gain if they could. I know you remember how powerless I seemed while Speaking. While the Voice can use a vessel like a sentient sword would a scabbard, it cannot completely rewrite personality, which could leave it vulnerable to corruption." Tallah spoke quickly; a river of words flowed from his mouth as he overshared while answering Mac's inquiry. It was obvious that passing on the Voice had been in the forefront of his mind for quite some time.
